Lilith yokai nature is more devilish than spiritual and as such she’s able to summon demons to aid her in battle and with any task she wants, usually this would annoy the demons but her voice is so rewarding that they can’t go against her wishes. She’s capable of using demonic magic, inflicting curses and the like, as well as to control demons she hasn’t summoned herself if she knows enough information about them. Because of this, he never had any childhood friends as they would leave before he made friends in his new area. He also ended up getting into fights alot because of his temper. So in order to keep him out of fights, his mother, Adora Maxwell Dewey, decided to teach him something that will keep him preoccupied: earth magic. She also taught him tremorsense, which was how she has been able to find her way even though she can't see.

One day, Phillip went home to see their house collapsed. He tried looking for his mother under all this rubble that was once their home. Instead, what he found was a note written by his mother explaining that an organization known as Mageseekers has been hunting down people like them for centuries and they have finally caught up to them. She also explained that the only place safe for him now was the Noroth's Academy of Sorcery and that she will find him there once she gets them off their tail. He also found an admission letter and a map to the academy.

Short Backstory: Carden never knew his biological parents for he was given up for adoption at birth. Instead, he was raised by a couple who already had several children themselves (four to be exact). He spent most of his early life in England, but as his adoptive was part of the military, he lived several other places across the world. His adoptive parents remained completely unaware of his abilities until he was around eight years old. At the age of eight, he had gotten into a fight over a toy with one of his siblings. In a fit of anger, his sibling tossed the toy into the lit fireplace that they had at the time. Carden, not really thinking, stuck his arm into the fire in attempts to retrieve the toy. When he pulled it out, it was as if the fire had not burned him at all which utterly baffled and terrified his adoptive family. But that was just the first of things to happen. In the years following that, his adoptive family did their best to hide the fact that their son was special from the public which wasn't too difficult considering they were constantly moving. It wasn't until he was in his teens that the academy found him and sent him an invitation to attend.

Ability Description: Railbreaker, as Jack names it, is the ability to push past beyond the limits of the body using fire magic, and creating grandiose explosions with it. The trade-off is that explosions can only be started from the body, and typically are not long range, and are not able to be contorted into smaller more controlled forces. So whenever Jack wants to use this power, he must put himself at risk of various burns. He has been attempting to develop a "Blast Shield" as he puts it, which would minimize the damage that he takes from explosions, and explosions only.

Until they found out about the powers. Throughout the last several decades, children have awakened to powers in exponential numbers and, as a result, the supernatural—the masquerade is tentative, and this is no greater a problem than for the creatures of the night. The coven made an agreement with institutions much like NAS to send its most amenable members, of which Amdusias reluctantly came to qualify, as faculty members to protect and guide the next generation of sorcerers in exchange for blood, wealth, and reciprocal protection.

As trade-off, Amdusias can only sustain off liquids and blood packs, he is unrecognized by sensors, and he can be permanently and agonizingly burned by sunlight or silver. He can regenerate off any damage that doesn’t destroy his heart or head.

  Short Backstory: Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Casey grew up as the only child of a fairly wealthy family. His mom was normal, a prominent businesswoman in the area, but his father was instead a mechanic with powers not unlike his own. Their inclination toward magic was a secret well-kept from most other than his mother, although Casey himself didn't develop such abilities until he was around twelve years old. Even before that point, though, he had proven himself to be hardly the typical spoiled rich kid, coming off as more of a delinquent with the way he'd get into all sorts of trouble almost constantly - whether that be by fighting other kids, running around in dangerous areas, or otherwise doing crazy things that he had no right to be doing. After his powers developed, and he realized that he was borderline invincible (or so he thought), this trend continued and increased, even as his father attempted to rein it in. Eventually, the time came where he was old enough to be sent off to N.A.S., which his parents were quite quick to do - there was only so much his old man could teach him, after all.

  Character Traits: At first glance, he can easily come off as arrogant and overconfident, due to his nature as something of a thrill-seeker and a trouble maker. He also tends to be casual, rarely formal, to such an extent that it comes off as disrespectful. But while he can be blunt, straight-forward, and even cold or harsh at times, he's also incredibly loyal when it comes down to it, and ultimately pretty friendly even to strangers. And while he can seem lacking intellectually, truth is that he's quite sharp - he just doesn't always apply himself in that way.

  Ability Description: Simply put, Casey has the ability to control pretty much any metal on Earth. This allows him to move, shape, liquify, harden, and otherwise manipulate metals within a range of 30ft/10m comfortably, and 60ft/20m max. He finds this easier to pull off with softer, more malleable metals like gold, copper, iron, or zinc.
  Adding onto this, he can also detect metals within a range of 60 ft, which comes in handy since he's incapable of creating anything from scratch. He also has enhanced toughness, which he calls 'Ironskin', allowing him to take a lot more punishment than the average human. Blades and bullets can absolutely still harm him, if not as much, but blunt force trauma, heat, and electricity don't bother him nearly as much. Worth noting that it still offers no resistance against the cold.
  Preferred Weapon: He wears two metallic bracers underneath his sleeves, forged of solid brass, which he can manipulate to take different forms. Sometimes he keeps them in their default state to block with, but he can also shift them into gauntlets or even blades, among other things. He likes to get creative.
  On top of this, he'll generally make use of use whatever metal he can find in his environment to his advantage.
  Special Skill: Since his dad is a mechanic, he's got some skill working with cars and vehicles himself, which he's learned to extend to weapons and machines in general. He's no genius inventor, nor is he a highly-skilled engineer, but he at least has a sort of intuition when working with metal.

  Short Backstory: Cal was originally born in Portland, Oregan, where he became part of a small family, alongside an older brother, Benjamin, and a single mother. However, he didn't stay there very long, less than a year in fact. Their lifestyle was one of transience, with the three of them were always on the move. They never stayed in one place for long, traveling from state to state, city to city - the only reason they didn't move countries was that they couldn't really afford to. It was a lifestyle without lasting roots or friendships, but he at least managed to grow quite close with his brother - especially given that they both shared a similar set of magic powers, which their mom demanded they keep hidden from normal people. He'd never really gotten to know his dad, having lost him at a young age, but if there was one thing about him that he knew, it was that he and Ben had gotten their powers from him. And since he wasn't around to train them in how to use it, for reasons only their mother seemed to know (not that she'd tell them), it was only inevitable that they would eventually be sent to NAS to learn their powers themselves. Ben went first, being substantially older; it's only recently that Callen's following suit, only a few years after his brother graduated.

His flexibility seems to be more of a bodily thing, and along with the above, it can allow him to move like an Olympic gymnast with almost none of the training. And while he can't fly, or at least not yet, he can ride the wind and use it to levitate and glide short distances.

  Gracie’s conception is basically a tragic romantic story. Her faerie mother fell in love with her human father who met on a rainy day at the park. The two fell in love that same day and ended up having Gracie. However, Gracie’s mother passed during childbirth due to giving birth to a mixed child. The human father ended up raising the young girl by himself and worked hard to support her. Unfortunately, he left her alone quite often to work and was unable to teach her any magic. Luckily, Gracie’s mother left her different books about air magic and a wooden flute to practice that kind of magic. Gracie studied diligently and was able to be proficient in her magic.
