Imagine a World where all those little monsters hiding under your bed and Closet, All those great billowing dragons from the fairy tales and the witches that originate from the old wives tales were real..A Place where humans & fables co-exist with one another...


Oh that story about Big foot running through the woods...That's definitely real.


Oh even those great gods the Greeks praised where real but now they've been reduced to pitiful things with barely any power compared to their glory days...Everything exists in this little city..

  Whilst Supernatural Species & Deities exist all over the World in this Rp our main setting will be in New Orleans, Louisiana America. However the Rp itself will not be limited to just the city but also places close to it, such as Forests and bogs. Different Dimensions will also have a slight role in this Role-play. I plan for this to be a very large Rp with numerous people participating to create an overall story that can hopefully include everyone.

  In the Very beginning of the world, The earth was empty & barren with not a single speck of life to be seen anywhere. However a shining light filled the vast void that seemed to engulf the space around the earth and a great omnipotent being now known as God came into existence. Not long after this, with great powers bestowed upon him by an unknown force he drove back the darkness that filled the vast void and with a mere flick of his hand bright shining orbs filled the sky, formed of wondrous light that helped stave away the great primordial darkness that had engulfed the universe. Knowing that he alone couldn't manage the earth and hold back the darkness forever he created lesser gods that were independent beings who held power over different aspects of this soon to be flourishing world. However God wasn't naive and knowing that these beings would attempt to overthrow him or possibly even destroy what he created, made creatures from his very own essence and dubbed them Angels. After this he along with the lesser gods began to populate the earth with minor ant like beings in comparison to them called humans, who acted like wayward & confused children. Everything was well in the world as these humans began to create the world on their own accord, forming empires and tribes that venerated God himself & the lesser beings that aided him in their creation.
  
  
  However many years of watching these humans be given praise by God angered one of the great angels, Known as Lucifer the light bringer. One of the very first angels who held back the great primordial darkness that sat at the very edges of the universe, long forgotten by all but the angels and god himself. Envious and angered by the fact that God saw these humans as perfect reflections of himself, Lucifer instigated a rebellion against his own creator. However God was enraged by Lucifer's ignorance & a never before seen rage surfaced from him, shredding the celestial wings he had given the rebels and casting them down into a pitiful and flame filled dimension full of despair and anger that had been created by Gods very own wrath. However weakened by using so much power and the angels missing one of their greatest generals, The darkness swam back into the populated earth and went down to one of the first creations of the lesser Gods, Known as Pandora.
  
  
  This girl, a mere child in mentality to the gods had been entrusted by God himself and the lesser deities to safe guard a box that contained the dark thoughts that the gods themselves would extract so they could remain peaceful and benevolent. However the Darkness was cunning and played on the emotions the gods have given the girl, making her open the very box they had trusted her not to open. These Thoughts burst out of the box with a vengeance and went back into the minds of the Very gods who had cast them their, corrupting most of them into wrathful things who began to create beasts and monsters of their own. They further mocked the power of god by editing the mind of humans and making their thoughts become reality, indirectly leading to the creation of even more beasts and monsters that would soon flood the earth. Going against the word of God himself, they thought themselves better than him and began to rule different civilizations with an iron fist. Further angered by this insolence, He fashioned an army of humans who were capable of killing the beasts and temporarily destroying the gods. This army called themselves the Crusaders and spread the word of god to the lesser deities worshippers, stripping them of their power as followers began to ignore their plea's for praise. The angels at the time drove back the darkness and sealed it in the box that had once contained the dark thoughts of the other deities, burying it deep down in the bowels of the earth so no one could rain anarchy on the world.
  
  
  After this series of events God was left in a tired & fatigued state and retreated into his own dimension of light to rest. Giving his most trusted angels, The arch angels dominion over the earth. However as the Crusaders numbers dwindled and their genes being lost in time, humans began to forget the beasts and monsters that had been released on the earth long ago. The Arch-Angels however were powerless to do anything as they were given orders to watch the Darkness & Lucifer, not the beasts that had been created by the lesser deities long ago. Now in the modern world most humans are ignorant of the monsters that co-exist with them, most having the knowledge to disguise themselves as human and blend into society so they do not attract the attention of the few Crusaders who still exist.

  Whilst their are many Supernatural species in the world since the Opening of Pandora's box there are a number of them who are notable for a number of reasons. Given their uniqueness , Power or relation to God. However this list will only include notable species, Not notable people in the supernatural world.
  
  
  
  
  
  Angelic beings
  
  
  Angelic beings are the first creations of God himself and as much have been gifted the most power out of the fables. Most of them are benevolent and kind beings but lack true emotions, Other Fables comparing them to mere pets that god plays with every so often then allows to go off on their own. They are varied in nature and a clear Hierarchy exists, The Arch Angels holding the most authority. It isn't unheard of for them to go against the word of God secretly and meddle in human affairs.
  
  
  Lesser Deities
  
  
  Lesser Deities are also referred to as the Pagan Gods and are the second creations of God himself. They are varied creatures all of them with different powers,Intentions and agenda's however what is known about them is that they're are many of them in this world still and all of them are mere shadows of their previous power. Nearly all of them nowadays have to rely on small cults that worship them to provide them with power and sacrifices so they can keep their ever waning power, most of them also incapable of cooperating with each other. They are despised by the angels for their betrayal of God and look down upon the other Fables, thinking themselves as better than them.
  
  
  Fallen Angels
  
  
  Cast down by God and hated by the other angels, The most prominent among them is Lucifer who now dwells in the bowels of hell scheming and plotting for some way to dethrone God and get rid of the humans. They're true forms have been warped and twisted into disgusting abominations because of God clipping their celestial wings, Most of them now being referred to as Demons. The majority of them are spiteful & malicious to just about anything and one, they receiving similar treatment from other Fables.
  
  
  Dragons
  
  
  Once one of the most proud and majestic of Fables, They have been reduced into hiding from anything that lives, even their fable brethren out of fear of being killed. Or Worse being captured by the Fables referred to as Sorcerers and being turned into some warped beast or crushed into a powder for one of their alchemical ingredients. They're numbers have dwindled to a mere 25 in the entire world, actively being hunted down by both Crusaders and Fable brethren alike.
  
  
  Hexaturine / Vexaturine
  
  
  One of the if not most greatly known Fables across the World if one were to exclude the Dragons,Gods & Angelic. They are known as Sorcerers, Witches , Warlocks , Necromancers , Witch Doctors and a number of other things to human kind. They are greatly feared by Fable kind & humans alike for their strange powers which seem to derive from the power of the Gods themselves, Creating odd potions or performing dark rituals. Though their numbers aren't amazingly high they are still a large threat to most Crusaders and are actively hunted down. Unique to them as well is they are incapable of being sensed by Augur's , They're true form being human like but with rotted & distorted skin.
  
  
  Hybrids
  
  
  Hybrids are an incredibly rare phenomenon and are seldom seen. What is known is that they inherit the powers of both parents and have two individual true forms, However it is extremely common for them to develop severe cases of Bi-Polar disorder or even go insane.

  Humans are possibly the most populous race in existence, They are also one of the weakest and "Ignorant" of the true world around them and it's extremely common for them to live their entire lives without even realizing the existence of the Myths that surround them. However their are also a special few who are regarded as Oddities even by other Supernatural creatures. These humans are ranked in rarity, The first ones being the least rare whilst the last one is the most rare.
  
  
  Crusaders
  
  
  Crusaders are the first batch of oddities and aren't overtly rare, however meeting one is still uncommon. These humans are the ones who have had ancestors long ago that were responsible for killing a majority of myths back in the olden times. People with ancestors who were once crusaders also have the power to kill a Fable, they also possessing an enhanced condition that makes them physically stronger and have heightened senses than most humans. However they are only capable of truly seeing Fables for what they are when they are in their true form, but they do get an uneasy feeling when meeting a Fable hiding in human form. Small groups of Crusaders exist to this day who hunt down Fables with a fanatical vigour.
  
  
  Augurs
  
  
  Augurs are the second batch of oddities are quite rare when compared to the Crusaders, Most fables ironically considering them mere fairy tales created by the crusaders to scare them though this is far from the truth. Augurs are humans who have been gifted "The Sight of the Angels" and are capable of seeing a fable for what they truly are, even if they are in a human form. The only exception to this being Hexaturine / Vexaturine. They are seldom talked about by Fables but are greatly feared because they are capable of informing Crusaders the presence of a Fable. Though rare in number some choose to help the Crusaders in their hunt for fables, Whilst others use their ability to actually help other Fables and hide them from Crusaders.
  
  
  Visionaries
  
  
  Visionaries are the most rare of humans and even considered myths by the all knowing Angels, Even god himself viewing their existence with scepticism. These people are the humans from long ago who had ancestors that were capable of bringing their thoughts into reality, allowing them to create fables on a mere whim. Few of them exist because Crusaders hunted down most of them long ago, thought some survived and bred with other normal humans allowing their linage to live on. Most if not all fables outright refuse their existence, believing all of them driven to extinction many years ago. The famous Gilgamesh who was thought of as a Demi-God was a Visionary and created the Walls of Uruk with a mere thought.

I plan for this to be a Detailed Fantasy Roleplay with a large number of Players included, With an ever changing story so that it may involve everyone possible.

Interested but also want to know what's the pull of magic in this rp. Will it be leaning more towards witchcraft and spells or more of an ability or skill kind've set?

It would lean more Towards Witchcraft & Spells, Rituals , Alchemy etc etc. However it would mainly be limited to Hex/Vexturine's & Lesser Deities than any other species. Others would be capable of it but it would take a much longer time and be much more difficult. Other Species would have abilities akin to their Myth E.G A Wendigo would probably have some sort of Snow manipulation. However they wouldn't have access to any other abilities, Only those that they are born with & make logical sense with their Myth.

I'm interested, sure, but I do have a question. Is it alright to play as a person from a German folk tale? I understand if this is a rather daft question to be asking, but I'm so interested and I would really like to join, I'll probably still join with an original character.

Of Course! Any Character from a folk tale/Myth/Fable or anything along that lines is playable. Be it an actual person or an Original character from a certain species

People are capable of taking their own spin on it in a large number of ways, though try not too deviate too much from the Original Lore.
