Welcome to Mystic Falls! A town full of rich history, culture and lore. Our town is small and close, like a family spanning across the entire town.
Everything is not what it seems in this sleepy town, there are creatures creeping through the night; witches, werewolves, and the most deadly of them all the vampire. But of course; that's all tourist attractions and lore of corse... or is it?

Chloe is the bitch you don't wanna mess with. People have joked around and said that she is a witch and she will hex you; no one knows how true that is. Mystic Falls is supposed to be filled with all sorts of supernatural events and beings and such, but hardly anyone suspects the girl sitting right next to them. She's always been a bit of an outcast, and she doesn't actively go seeking out trouble. It just sort of happens. Like she's in the wrong place at the wrong time.

She's definitely intimidating, but not friendless. To her friends, she's fun and she likes to laugh around them. But those are few and far between, and there are times she prefers to not be around others. She writes in a journal, and there's rumors that she's spelled it shut, and anyone who opens it would turn into a fly. That's only half true.

Bio:
Chloe's mother and father are not magical, but her grandmother is. The magic runs on her mothers side of the family anyway, but for some reason, it never revealed itself in her mother. This made the woman incredibly jealous of Chloe, and she spent the first part of Chloe's life tormenting her. Chloe didn't understand what she'd done wrong, or why she was always punished so harshly. That's why she started writing, using a journal as an outlet. Yet even that was a punishable offense, and once her mother found out about them, she burned them all in front of young Chloe's eyes.

This continued on throughout the years, and Chloe just got more and more reserved. The few friends she has, she cherishes, because they have been there for her throughout her hardest times. But it's obvious, if you look into her eyes, that she has suffered both physically and mentally. Her grandmother spent the last few years of her life living with them, which brought out a slightly brighter side to Chloe. But the woman passed some time ago, leaving her alone with her mother again. Chloe spends alot of time out of the house, just to get away.

  Vera can often come across as old-fashioned and set in her ways, finding much disinterest in modern day fads. She can be cold and intimidating to others, never afraid to speak her mind or point out their flaws. The truth is, she is afraid of growing close to others as she has lost so many loved ones over the years. She puts on a tough exterior to make it difficult for others to warm to her, but in reality, she longs for love and acceptance, for someone to share this long and dark life with. She no longer feels guilt for killing or turning others, and in a way finds pleasure in it. She has a huge first for blood and dominance.
  
  When people do get through to Vera, they realise she is very creative, enjoying classical music and the theatre. To the few people she does care about, she is fiercely protective. Though she may be sarcastic and at times distant with them, she wouldn't hesitate to help them if they needed her to.

  Sinead had been working since the early afternoon and as she glanced to the clock, she saw it was 7pm, only thirty minutes until her shift ended. The sheet music in front of her was for relaxing and, in Sinead's opinion, forgettable pieces simply aimed to be background sounds whilst the customers ate and conversed. She remembered every note of those songs having played them so often. As she lightly pressed the keys, her eyes were closed and she went off into a daydream. The people around her were so wrapped up in their own little worlds and ignorant to the true dark nature of this city. The more she thought about it, the more her family's troubles caught up to her and the more playing these dull songs irked her. She opened her eyes and glanced around before ending the current song and starting to play a more dramatic piece of Beethoven. Being able to play this one was still one of her biggest achievements and right now, the fast and loud nature of the song felt like a release to her. After just a few seconds, she realised she'd got people's attention and perhaps now they could appreciate music as much as she did. Closing her eyes once again, she continued to play without caring that people were now staring and probably trying to catch their breaths back after being startled by the sudden shift in tone and volume from the piano.
  
  For a time, Sinead shut off from everything around her and was lost in a world of nothing other than the sound of music and the feeling of serenity. She was jolted out of that peacefulness when she felt a firm hand tap her on the shoulder. Her eyes darted open and then she saw Mr Buchanan standing to her right side and gesturing for her to stop playing. Sinead took a deep breath before slamming her fingers down on the next chord and holding it there for a few seconds, letting the loud sound fill the room. She then lifted her hands and looked to her boss with a sweet smile. "A song like that should really always be played to the end," she sweetly told him and placed her hands on her lap.
  
  "Sinead, we both know you're wasted in this place. But you're employed to play the music in front of you and just provide a little bit of background music for my diners. As marvellous as that piece is, it's making the customers uncomfortable," he quietly told her. The man knew of her recent loss so was being kinder to her than he could have been. "How about you finish early and get yourself home for the rest of the evening? I'll see you again in a few days for something a little less intense."
  
  "I merely wished to open their eyes to the real world, Mr Buchanan," she told him. She calmly got out of her seat, despite wanting to scream the place down. "I'll see you next time," she agreed. She brushed past the man and went to retrieve her things before leaving the building.​

  Appearance: Dark spruce-colored hair, usually greased back. His eyes are a dark amber, just like his sisters. He stands at 6’3, and weighed around 180lbs. Has a assorted amount of tattoos, though all creates a pair of arm sleeves, that end at his elbows on both arms.

  Now the story of this jacket is briefly explained in the backstory, but seeing as this is one of his prized possessions I feel a more proper backstory is needed...
  

  

  
  So this was given to Atticus in the 50’s, when he first joined the Arizona biker gang, the Cochise Riders. The logo of said gang is stitched into the back of the jacket, and is preserved quite well for how long he has had it. On the sleeve he has a patch of his rank, which is resembled by a intriquitly stiched arrowhead. This rank is newer than the back stitching by 20 years or so, when he became a high member.

  Atticus is a man of simplistic ideals. He likes whiskey dry, his bike polished, and his blood fresh. A lover of the 50’s era, his style and music taste reflects that without even knowing a ounce about him. At first glance his silent-rougeishness is a instant eye-catcher, but once sparking conversation his apperence is quite deceiving...
  
  His intelligence is one of experience, and one of literature. His love for old novels, and history contradict his to-cool-for-school appearance. And he uses that to his advantage. Quite deceptive, his prey usually tends to be woman, seeing as they’re the easiest for him to lure. So nonchalant after, he’ll flick on a record and dive into a book with little care in the world...

  Background:
  
  Atticus being the younger of the two siblings, was born 1918, the lovely end of the first World War. His father a war verteran, as well as a wearily inheritant of his grandfather’s buisness. His mother a strict traditionalist. This left the two with very little room for error, or even exploration. The only freedom Atticus had in his youth was being allowed to roam the lawns, or maybe accompany his father to town. It was a dull childhood to say the least.
  
  His sister managed to escape their parents though, leaving him behind to deal with the repercussions. His mother became paranoid, afraid he would abandon her like Vera did, driving her to crazy lengths to prevent his departure. But with persuasion, he convinced his father he was to become a doctor, and needed schooling in London. So in 1935, Atticus finally got his sweet escape.
  
  Hearing his sister had met a man in London, it was quite convient for him to move in with the two, although he was rarely home due to his studies. Usually spending most of his time in libraries or coffee shops, Atticus dedicated himself to the study of medicine. Graduating from college, Atticus was determined to start his career. But in 1939, conscription grasped the man like iron chains. He was to become a field medic, and after a year’s training, was shipped off to Paris to help the ever-growing number of Allies troops. And this, was where he was turned...
  
  Befriending a Parisian field medic named Pierre, the two worked often together on patients, seeing as a extra brian and pair of hands could never hurt. But Atticus took note of his odd ways, sometimes allowing the most emancipated patients to drink from his wrist, and in a matter of hours they would be stable. Eventually he confronted Pierre about it, in which he was told he was a vampire. Never quite believing in myths, Atticus denied it at first, saying he was a liar, but Pierre persisted. Saying it was a better way of life, and the war offered so much blood and so much opportunity for a man like him. And so out of reasons still unknown, Pierre killed Atticus, then turned him... For the remainder time in Paris, Pierre made sure to teach Atticus the ways of a vampire, even giving him a Lapus ring, which granted him movement in the sun. But, the two often fed on nearly dead vitctims, and saved those who were honorable. But like all things, the war ended, and Atticus returned home.
  
  Once home, he found that his sister had been a vampire longer than he had, to ashamed to tell her brother of her state. And the two decided to travel to America, starting in New York. After a few years, the two ended up in Arizona, which was the place Atticus fell in love with the country. The rusted steppes, the barren wasteland of Arizona amazed him. When there he befriended a gang, who took him under their wing, giving him his first bike and jacket, and to this day has both items still. Vera eventually left him to his own devices, which he was glad for. Atticus didn’t leave Arizona till the early 2000’s, when most of the gang members had died off, leaving him alone once again. Finding his sister after a year of searching in a small town called Mystic Falls, the two decided to finally look out for each other, seeing as they got their fill of adventure. Both decided that family was to come first, and that they were each other’s rocks.

  (some context. This was from a old rp of mine I ran, based around a group of spies. Galahad has been kidnapped at this point by Gambit. But I feel this represents my style quite well, although my range is quite diverse...)
  
  
  
  A scream can represent many things. Some scream in joy, some in anguish, but these were ones of agony. Not only from the excruciating pain, but ones of a man who knew he broke.
  
  He lost...
  
  Galahad dropped his head between his arms, close to sobbing, as the feeling in his right hand began to disappear. Thankfully, since he knew the pain would trump his shoulder. But he lost. Gambit won. And he knew it wasn't near over.
  
  Gambit grinned widely, chuckling in satisfaction. "Now see I told you I could do it! Pain does a funny thing to man, it enlightens them in no other way possible. I'm just glad you had the imagination to allow the enlightenment to take place, because I was slightly concerned your thick skull wouldn't let it!" Looking down at the metal stool, which was beginning to be coated with blood, but Galahad's hand was worse off... "Well you do have another hand... And I still don't have my information..." He paused, changing his tone into a mockery of a British accent. "Sorry ol' chap."
  
  Those same screams erupted again, as if Galahad himself was Pompei, unloading millions of years of bottled up pain. Galahad could feel hot tears water his eyes, at this point, he could care less. He let out a wail, keeping his eyes concentrated on the concrete floor, avoiding any cost of eye contact.
  
  Gambit tossed the blood-covered meat tenderizer in the corner, followed by kicking the stool away, breaking the chain restraining Galahad's hands. It wouldn't matter anyways. Once you told a man enough times he couldn't leave, he wouldn't. Tilting his head, marveling in his work, which was one of his finests. "Good man. You took that quite admirably. But I regretfully have to inform you that you're not quite done yet. Physically yes - mentally no. Now I will tell you this, only because of your nonexistent candor, that your friends will be here. Now I won't tell you when, because that's quite the spoiler, but I can change you before then. You're already broken, my job is to let your reassemble them in solitude. So to you Galahad, I say Adieu." The door clinked open, allowing Gambit to leave. Though he paused briefly, glancing over the shoulder back at the broken man inside. "Hang him up." The guard nodded, a pitied glance at the poor mess of a victim of his bosse's wrath...
  
  Galahad's shoulder throbbed as it was above his head. He was hooked to a large industrial hook on the ceiling by hands, which was dripping blood all over him. But he couldn't feel his hands, and he figured he may never do so again. But his shoulder was still palpable, and the awkward angle made his whole body ache in agony. But he was alone again.
