Name: Larassa

Appearance:
She is very fit as she’s has been on the run since the experiment that changed how she is now. She’s lean muscle-wise and looks very skinny which is an advantage for her since most assume she’s not strong at all. She is very tanned and got this from her father’s side of the family, which is of Egyptian descent. Her feet are similar to that of the hind legs of a wolf’s, but are longer to fit the body of a human. Her legs also have fur on top of the tanned skin. She has a wolf's tail and due to a rare chance in the grey wolf DNA, her fur is black everywhere as opposed to grey. This comes from the practice of wolf-dog hybridization in North America that helps with repopulating the wolf population. She has to cut a hole in her jeans to allow her tail to stick out so it’s not uncomfortable. Her hands are mostly normal except for the claws that take place of fingernails. Also, her hands and forearms have black fur covering the tops of them.
Her wings are ebony all around and shine in direct sunlight. She has learned how to fly with them more or less over the years, but still crashes occasionally. She always cuts the backs of her tops so that she can use her wings to escape if ever necessary. She can’t hide her wings due to their bulkiness in being designed for a human so they’re constantly tucked behind her back.
Her hair is cut short, messy, pixie style, and dyed midnight purple. Her natural hair used to be a very dark brown and to her shoulders, but she had it dyed a drastically different color and cut short in hopes of throwing the Erasers off her trail. Now she constantly keeps her hair cut short to avoid it getting in her way. She also has a brilliant smile, but it is not seen by many as she keeps to herself most of the time. Her eyes are both gold brown and she loves to refer to them as the only chocolate she’s allowed to have.
Her attire consists of torn jeans that have to be one size bigger to accommodate for her digitigrade legs, a T-shirt with wings on the back as decor, a tank top and sports bra underneath, and a hoodie on top for the colder weather. All of her clothing has gotten to the fading point and is a bit grimy from lack of cleaning. Because of her feet being that of a wolf’s, she can’t wear any shoes and just goes everywhere barefoot, or bare paw (ba dum tss).
Powers:
- Regeneration: She can heal most minor wounds in a few minutes, severe wounds in a couple hours, and the worst wounds taking up to a few days to heal. Because of her ability to regenerate quickly, she is highly resistant to diseases and illness. Alas, she can only heal herself though and can’t extend her abilities out to anyone else.
- Morphing: If she becomes desperate enough in a fight or someone is just really pissing her off, then she will morph into what people would most likely mistaken as a werewolf. She already has the tail and legs, but will also grow the wolf ears and her eyes change from the gold brown color to a glowing yellow, akin to that of a wolf’s. Her hair will also become more wild and unkempt, something like a mane in a sense. If necessary, she can morph specific parts of her body (like just her ears or just her eyes for heightened senses), though this requires a lot of concentration.
- Mimicry: While she doesn’t use this power often, she has an uncanny ability to perfectly mimic anyone after hearing their voice at least once.
Weaknesses:
- She isn’t bulletproof and takes several days to heal from deadly wounds. Like if she breaks a bone, tears a muscle, or gets a bullet wound then she’ll take several days to recuperate. Whereas if she gets a bad gash or pulls/strains/sprains a muscle, she’ll recover in either a few minutes or up to a few hours depending on the severity.
- High-pitched sounds can paralyze her temporarily as she’ll be in immense pain.
- She can’t swim due to her wings and digitigrade legs getting in the way and making it too difficult. Her wings will keep her afloat, but they spread out and make her unbalanced. Her legs just are heavy-weights due to the muscles and they just want to pull her down while her wings want to float. It’s highly uncomfortable for her.
Personality:
Larassa has a tendency to be rather blunt about, well, everything. She doesn’t always recognize others’ emotions and she prefers to keep hers concealed. She doesn’t say much most of the time, but when she needs to get a point across or needs to give instructions then she’ll seemingly open up more. She’s got a sarcastic, dry humor and can sometimes offend people with her jokes, though she probably won’t notice they’re offended.
Deep down, way deep down, Larassa does have a very kind and caring heart, but years of captivity and experimenting have made her shove that part of her into a dark corner of her heart. It’ll sometimes make an appearance, but it doesn’t seem to happen too often anymore. She does look out for her mates though and once she considers someone to be helpful to her then she’ll generally start looking out for them in a friendly manner. She also has a strong tendency to hide her pain, especially when she’s around other people. She’s determined to keep up her tough ego and so she refuses to look weak in any manner when she’s around people. Because of this, she tends to push herself harder than she should and most of her injuries are a result of her pushing herself too hard.
Larassa has a strong flirty side that shows itself quite often, especially when she notices a guy looking her way. She loves to tease guys and quite often will do so without realizing she’s even doing it.
She loves nature and the way it calms her so she generally will find herself outside and in a tree or chilling at the edge of a lake. She also finds that music brings great comfort to her. She’s always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, but lacks a guitar and a teacher to do so.
Extra:
- She can’t stand coffee, tea, or soda. She sticks to water or preferably milk.
- She loves to sleep outside if possible, or even in a tree. She hates sleeping inside because of not being able to see the sky and hear the sounds of nature, which calm her nerves

Appearance:
Piper has two fox ears on either side of her head that replace her human ears. The ears are white from the front and brownish-reddish from the back. She can move her ears just as a fox can and the ears are designed to fit her head so they’re large enough to be noticeable, but not overly large to the obnoxious point. Her eyes are hazel and her hair flows down her back to about the base of her shoulder blades. She usually will have it in a ponytail when she’s doing anything physical, otherwise it’s loose and flowing freely. Her hair is a fiery and rusty color.
She has a bushy fox tail and it matches her hair color from the beginning of the tail to about 3/4 of the tail. The underside of her tail is pale grey and there is a black ring around the tip of the tail, which is white. Her arms aren’t too muscular and are primarily just skinny. Her legs are quite muscular though because of her enhanced speed resulting in her running away from most dangers. Thus her legs have become well defined over the years. Her legs aren’t drastically bigger than her arms, but it’s still obvious that they're stronger. Also, her skin is white, not really tanned, but not really pale either. She also has a set of freckles that fan from the tops of her cheeks and across her nose.
Her attire consists of dark brown capris, a T-shirt with a fox’s paw print decal on it, a leather jacket, and some brown hiking boots that she had stolen along with all of her attire. She also has a small military cap style, brown hat on her head. It doesn’t cover up her ears, but she stole it with the other attire when she saw how well it went with everything. Being on the run doesn’t mean she can’t be a little stylish too. Though she hasn’t washed her clothes for weeks so it all reeks and needs to be cleaned badly. She also has a tattoo on the underside of her right wrist of a red fox’s face surrounded by blue flames.
Powers:
- Fire Manipulation: She can create fire with her hands. It’s temperature is around 300F. She can also create a protective cloak of fire around her body, which she can withstand because of her fire-proof power.
- Enhanced Speed: She can run at a top speed of 15mph, a result of her red fox genes. She was supposed to max out at 30mph like a red fox, but she hasn’t managed to run that fast yet.
- Fire-proof: She can withstand fire up to a temperature of 450F. The scientists designed her this way so that she could use her fire as a weapon while not having to worry about self-inflicted burns.
Weaknesses:
- Limited Speed: She can’t run with the use of her enhanced speed for more than twenty minutes. Fatigue will kick in once her twenty minutes are up.
- Limited Fire: She can call this ability up at will, but only for ten minutes before she has to rest. She generally takes up to 30 minutes to recover from the usage depending on how long she used it. She can’t throw the fire at anyone in the form of fireballs because her aim is terrible and she usually ends up harming someone else.
- Overheat: Similar to her enhanced speed, if she uses her flames past twenty minutes then she’ll get fatigued and her body will physically heat up drastically. At this point she’ll need something cold like ice or water perhaps to cool her down. If she doesn’t cool down within ten minutes then she can suffer from a heat stroke.
- Fire-Resistance: She isn’t fire-resistant internally and thus can still suffer if she breaths in any hot fumes or somehow manages to get fire down her throat.
Personality:
Piper is very rebellious and has a fiery spirit and attitude. She loves to express herself through music and has an acoustic guitar that she always has strapped onto her back, the strings pointing to the ground. She also sings along when she plays her guitar and loves sing, though she isn’t that great at writing her own songs.
She has a very high self-esteem and stands up for herself and her close friends without missing a beat. She’ll even put herself in harm’s way for her friends if it’s necessary. She also is highly optimistic and always looks for the good side of things and tends to ignore anything that could possibly go wrong. She has a very sarcastic sense of humor and loves to flirt with guys all the time. She also loves to pull pranks and doesn’t always think about the consequences beforehand. She also has a tendency to try to lie and manipulate her way out of any trouble, which can sometimes make everything worse.
While she loves to hang out with her friends, Piper does need some time alone everyday and will usually find it by going into the woods alone and playing her guitar. She’s as much of an extrovert as she is an introvert. She can be very goofy sometimes and will become very playful at times. She also has a ball sack that she’ll play with in a similar way that a kitten would play with a ball of yarn. Piper could care less what others think of her and will act however she wants to act without thinking about how others will react. This can backfire sometimes as she can possibly offend someone.
Piper is very resourceful and will automatically adapt to any given situation, if she can that is. She always tries to think of a good plan for any problem she may encounter, but feels very lost when she lacks a plan to follow. She is also very competitive and if challenged to anything, she will immediately accept and take on the challenge even if she knows she can’t handle it.

- Piper has a pair of drumsticks, which she keeps in her back pocket or somewhere on her at all times
- No matter her age, Piper loves to play hide n’ seek

Name: Leandra Sinciato (Nickname is Lea, which is pronounced like Leah)

Appearance:
Lea has blue feline eyes, a platinum blonde lion tail, which is about 3 feet long, platinum blonde hair, enlarged canines, and claws instead of fingernails or toenails as a result of the mutation. The enlarged canines don't prevent her from closing her mouth and her jaw is only slightly larger than a human's as a result. Her hair goes to her shoulders and is straight. Her hair also has a small streak of dirty blonde hair. Her twin brother and her both used to have dirty blonde hair before the experiments, but most of their hair changed to a different color once they were mutated. She's very physically fit primarily from genetics, but also from working out hard since she escaped from the lab. That being said, she's not like insanely jacked, but she is as fit as perhaps a junior Olympic track runner.
She also has platinum blonde fur along the backs of her hands and along the tops of her forearms. Her skin is very tanned from being on the run and in the sun almost all the time. The scientists who experimented on her accidentally gave her a genetic condition called leucism. This resulted in her eye, hair, and fur color change.
Clothing-wise, she generally wears khaki pants, a brown utility belt, a tan tank top, and brown Puma running shoes, all of which she stole from a clothing shop. She always cuts holes in the backs of her pants/shorts so that her tail can stick out for comfort. She keeps her drumsticks, which she also stole, in a back pocket of her pants. She has to wear shoes one size bigger than her foot size because of the claws on her toes. She also got a tattoo on the underside of her right wrist, which is the two words Hakuna Matata. Some of the scientists at her lab thought it'd be a great joke to give her the tattoo since the meaning of Hakuna Matata is no worries. All things considered, Lea has quite a lot to worry about.
Powers:
- Night Vision: This comes from her lion genetics and allows her to see in the dark.
- Jumping: Having lion genes and being naturally fit have resulted in an ability for Lea to jump high and far. So far, the furthest she can leap is 18 feet and the highest is 6 feet.
- Semi-Retractable Claws: The claws on Lea's hands and feet are semi-retractable. Semi meaning that when she retracts her claws, the tips (sharpest points) are still showing. Also, her fingertips are wider than normal because of this and while she can mostly hide the claws, she can't hide the odd fingertips nor the tips of the claws.
Weaknesses:
- Once she performs one of her big jumps, she can't stop herself and this can result in her crashing into someone or something if she jumps too far or too short of wherever she was aiming to land.
- Hyperextension is a big problem for Lea as she can overextend her leg(s) while jumping and pull or tear a muscle if she does so too violently. She has to be careful when jumping in order to avoid such injuries.
- Her claws have to be sharpened regularly, much like a domestic house cat, otherwise they get too long and could tear and cause injury. While she doesn't have a scratching post to help her with such a need, she finds whatever she can use whether it be a tree trunk or something else.
- Bright, flashing lights (like strobes) can give her bad headaches because of her night vision not being able to handle the constant and drastic light change.
Personality:
Lea is very social by nature, but when in company of anyone she doesn't know, she'll clam up. She tends to prefer close friends who are of the same gender or younger than her. She's a natural-born leader and will often take charge in projects and in groups. She thinks highly of herself, but is humble in not bragging about everything she accomplishes. When she accomplishes something then she'll usually find someone to give the credit to. She prefers working in groups than alone. She has a strong willpower and lives by a certain quote, which is "Never give up." She can get very shy around guys if she is complimented by them or finds them to be attractive.
While Lea loves to take charge often, she also has a very lazy side of her that often shows when the weather is very warm outside. She loves to just lie in the sun and enjoy the heat. When she gets lazy, she also gets quiet and will not want to do much when she gets in this mood. Aside from having lazy moments, Lea has a very calm and relaxed manner of dealing with stressful situations. She never shows her fear and will keep a level head in situations where most would be terrified or excessively worrying. She can also be as stubborn as a mule basically all the time. Especially when she's defending her opinion on something.
Lea also loves having fun and has the curiosity of a cat. She absolutely loves to explore everything and finds scratching things to be a great way to pass time. She is easily amused by nearly every and anything around her so she never can say that she's bored. When all else fails and she really can't find anything to do, then she'll pull out her drumsticks and drum away on whatever is near her.

- Has an acoustic guitar, which she keeps strapped to her back with the strings pointing to the ground when she’s not currently using it

Appearance:
Manjano's arms are literally his wings, just like a bat, and they're black in color on the front and back. When he crosses his arms over his chest his wings hang limply at his sides. The only way he can fold up his wings is if he folds his arms over his chest like an "x" with the crook of his elbows under his chin. The "fingers" and "membrane" of his wings extend out to make the symbolic shape of a bat wing when he fully extends his arms up and to his sides. While he doesn't have any webbing between his legs, his wings extend from the base of his shoulders all the way down to his hips. His legs are that of a normal human and he doesn't have a tail. While his legs aren't jacked, they're strong from holding him up when he hangs upside down. He does have bat feet though. He has five toes and long claws instead of toenails. His feet aid in his hanging from objects in an upside-down manner.
His skin is very tanned from being on the run. His upper chest is covered by yellow fur that seems to be like a thick 'necklace' of fur that stands out as being fluffier than his other fur on his body. This 'fur necklace' goes around to his back where it is only on his neck. As young as he is, he has no hair on his chest and so there is just the fur 'necklace' there.
He has short blonde hair, very much like his fur color, that spikes slightly at the center. It's short in the back though and doesn't touch his 'fur necklace'. He uses some hair gel to spike the hair in the front. He 'borrowed' it from some local stores in various towns before he got to Mutant Refuge. He also has yellow fur that goes from the base of his hair to the base of his spine. He also has a streak of dirty blonde hair, which both him and his twin sister had dirty blonde hair before the experiments. The tops of his arms are covered in yellow fur that matches the color of the fur on his back. There is no obvious changes in his appearance to that of a tiger moth, other than perhaps the large amount of fur he has on his body.
His eyes are dark brown because of the bat genes. Because his vision isn't perfect, he wears a pair of glasses that could easily be defined as nerdy. He has sharp, crested teeth similar to the western yellow bat who's an insect-eater. On top of all of this, he has the short, but longer than wide bat ears that are similar to the western yellow bat.
His attire consists of his nerdy glasses and dark green camouflage pants. He can't wear shirts because of his wings, which is a bit awkward, but he can't really do anything about it. He also prefers to not wear any shoes or socks so that he can cling to tree branches when he wants to hang upside down. His feet are heavily calloused from being on the run and always being barefoot. He isn't jacked, muscle-wise, but he's lean and fit like a cross country runner.
Powers:
- Echolocation: He can send out high-pitched shrieks that only those with highly sensitive hearing can hear. He primarily uses it when he needs to see something that's moving quickly or is up close and he doesn't have a clear visual of it.
- Mental Projection: He can generate illusions from his mind. They're usually memories of real people or animals meant to confuse whoever he's projecting them to. He can project one of his illusions to, at the most, three people at once. The projections can feel amazingly real, which results in his illusions generally affecting his target's sight and hearing.
- Enhanced Hearing: He can pinpoint sounds rather easily as a result of his bat genes and ears.
Weaknesses:
- The echolocation only works to a certain extent, which is about 100 meters, any further and the image becomes blurred and unfocused. At this point, he'll have to rely on his eyesight, but this isn't as strong as his echolocation.
- He hates water and has no idea how to swim. Not to mention that his wings would bring him under almost immediately.
- He can't write or pick up many simple objects due to his fingers being embedded in his wings.
- He's very clumsy when running because of his wings and this can result in him tripping over his wings and hurting himself.
- In order for his mental projection to work properly, he has to have a clear image in his mind of what person or animal he's projecting. Otherwise, the image looks distorted and confusing.
- Because of his bat genes, he's very frail and won't last long in any fights since his body can't handle much stress.
- Because of his wings being his arms, he cannot fly for long periods of time. He can usually only fly for about two hours before the strain really kicks in and he needs to rest.
Personality:
Manjano is a natural loner and introvert. Generally, he'll only say one sentence at a time. He will work alongside someone if necessary. He loves reading books and will often be seen hanging from a tree and reading a book. He's smarter than most would know because of his time spent reading books in libraries. He's very shy around people and generally will avoid them if possible, but if he takes a liking to someone then he'll open up over time. While he's not very funny, he does enjoy a good joke here and there. Though with his lack of socializing, he may not understand many jokes.
His nerdy glasses don't bother him as they work well in correcting his vision so he could care less what anyone thinks of them. He's even more shy around girls, but only if they're close to his age or older. He'll clam up and not know what to say on top of probably blushing like an idiot. If they're younger than him then he'll be fine, but still shy. He doesn't care what others think of him and will even laugh when others make fun of him because he thinks the jeers are stupid.
He's also very strong-willed and will do his best at anything he does. He's very ambitious and when he wants to get something done, he'll do it one way or another. He also loves to learn new things so he spent much of his time in the libraries reading books about the different hobbies people have and the types of jobs that people generally have nowadays. He also read about the different countries around him and the cultures.
Extra:
- Obsesses with reading books all the time
- Prefers to sleep outside hanging upside down in a tree, but if he can't then he'll sleep hanging from the ceiling of his cabin
- Tends to be more active at night and prefers to sleep in the day. This isn't possible though because of how everything is planned so he generally will take a few naps during the day to make up for it
- Doesn't understand electronics at all and tends to avoid using them
- His enhanced hearing helps him learn languages faster because he can understand the tone and way the words in the language sound like
- He's book-smart, but not really good with words and will tend to avoid talking to anyone and read instead
- His favorite book series is the Silverwing series
- He knows quite a lot about the world around him, though he did spend a lot of time reading fiction while in the libraries as well
- He will often be seen smiling while reading a book because he gets really into the story

Mutations: 1% Canadian Lynx, 2% North Cervid Caribou, 97% Human
Powers:
- Cold-Resistant: She’s resistant to cold weather to a certain extent. She doesn’t have the full fur coat that a lynx or caribou has, but because of the genes, she can stay warm up to a temperature of 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Her feet are extra cold-resistant due to the natural snowshoes and they can withstand cold weather up to 18 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Enhanced Vision: She can see exceptionally better than the normal human, especially when in a white-based setting like in snowy terrain. While humans can see around 400nm, she can see 320nm because of her caribou genes. This basically covers the part of the spectrum that humans can see with the aid of a black light. When not in a snowy terrain, she can still see exceptionally well because of her lynx genes. Like a lynx, she can spot a mouse 250 feet away.
- Teleportation: As long as she has a visual either in her mind or through a picture, Mizuki can physically teleport herself to the location visualized. Her molecules will basically rearrange themselves in the location that she visualizes herself in.
Weaknesses:
- She gets hot very easily because of her cold-weather resistance. She can’t stand the heat and will avoid going outside entirely if it’s very hot out. She can also get heat strokes/exhaustion much faster than a normal human would.
- Her antlers have a tendency to give her headaches randomly due to only having them for two years. Her body just isn’t used to them yet.
- Because of her mixed genes, her enhanced vision doesn't work any better than a human's vision at night.
- If electrocuted, Mizuki will be unable to teleport as this messes directly with her nervous system and prevents her from focusing as it is much more painful to her than to most others. If she tries to teleport while being electrocuted than she’ll only cause more pain and a stronger possibility of injury to herself.
- Without a proper visual on the location that she wants to teleport to, Mizuki is unable to teleport at all.
Appearance: Mizuki is of Chinese origin and has pure-diamond hair that goes to the tops of her shoulders. She usually just tucks her hair behind her ears, but will pull it back into a messy ponytail if she's on the run and needs it out of the way. She has antlers on her head that are about three inches long. The tufts are black whereas the ears are reddish-brown with spots speckled along them. Because of the tufts, the ears stick out of her hair rather obviously. Also, her eyes are hazel.
She is short and skinny, with a slight athletic build from being on the run with her legs being . She also has some gray fur on the tops of her feet, around her ankles and on the backs of her hands. The fur has white tips, which give it a frosted appearance. Her toes have webbing in-between them, which aids in walking across snow with ease. Her feet are also larger than normal because of her lynx genes. Her feet can fit in size 9 women’s shoes, though she doesn't usually wear shoes.
She prefers to go everywhere barefoot and has calluses along the bottom of her feet because of this. She likes to wear fingerless gloves and almost always has a pair on. Because she doesn't get cold easily, she will usually be wearing short khaki shorts and a tank top with Bambi on the front of it.
Personality:
Mizuki is quiet and an introvert because of the solitary lifestyle she lived. She prefers solitude and when frightened or surprised, she’ll turn tail and run, or teleport. She’s terrified of all humans, because of the years of testing done on her by the scientists, and will be terrified of any mutants who don’t have overly obvious mutations, since she’ll mistake them for being a human. While being terrified of the humans, she keeps these feelings well hidden as she doesn’t want to look weak before the scientists, or anyone. She doesn’t trust anyone and always keeps her mind on lockdown. She also has a tendency to speak in Mandarin when she’s very angry or upset.
Because of her lack of trust, she doesn't tend to have any friends and usually will not go to anyone's aid. She cares for herself first and if she's all good then she just might help someone else.

Weaknesses:
- Due to the high speeds he can reach when flying, his ears can have a sickening pop and render him temporarily deaf. This will last until he slows down.
- His reflexes will work more like a human's if he can't see the potential danger or hear it.
- Can sometimes overreact with his reflexes and get freaked out for absolutely no reason other than assuming something was a threat to him when it wasn't.
Appearance:
He’s white-skinned and slightly tanned from being on the run. His eyes are dark brown and his third eyelid spreads tears and clears debris from his eyes while maintaining vision, which is immensely helpful when he hits high speeds in flight. He has white furry sideburns, but his hair is black. It’s a bit short overall, but he does have some loose bangs that flop against his forehead.
His wings are primarily gray from the back-view, but from the front-view his wings are white washed with red-brown and blue-black spots and stripes (See here for more clear description: http://identify.whatbird.com/obj/59/identification/Peregrine_Falcon.aspx)) He’s overall more lean than muscular, though his shoulders and back are much more toned due to his powerful wings.
Due to how often he dislocates his wrists, he often will keep them taped up so that when he relocates them the tape will help in the healing process and reduce the pain and swelling. His right forearm has a burn scar covering it from the wrist to the elbow, a result of the escape he was involved in. Since he likes to climb trees and he hates how confined shoes feel, he also tapes his feet and ankles. Also, due to how long he’s been on the run and barefoot, his feet are heavily callused and prevent him from sustaining many, if any, injuries from walking around barefoot. As for his clothing, he often wears a tan tank top and green cargo shorts. If it gets cold out, then he’ll put on a light, tan jacket and he’ll keep it zipped up the whole time he wears it.

He always loves a good adventure and will go out of his way to make something ordinary into something extraordinary just to mix things up. He can’t stand a set schedule or routines.
He’s very curious about the world around him and all of the weird things that humans seem to always find so necessary for their daily lives. He has a tendency to barrage people with questions so he can know and understand more about everything around him, including the people around him.
He’s very honest in any given situation. He can mostly keep a secret, but if confronted directly then he’ll most likely give away the secret. He hates being dishonest and lying to anyone because that’s what the scientists did to him all the time and it was morally wrong.
He loves to live the dangerous life, as if he wasn’t already, and will usually take the more dangerous route in everything that he does. He absolutely loves to get the adrenaline going.
