My Introduction

Hey there. I'm RaSkull...as you can probably already see on the left. You're more than welcome to call me Skully or Rin (nickname to my RL name). I want to start off by saying I'm quite excited to be delving in to this wonderful nation of fellow Roleplayers. I can tell you this is definitely not my first time roleplaying, I have quite the experience under my belt thankyouverymuch. Though I would consider myself intermediate to advanced at roleplaying, I'm not quite sure what the requirements for that is on this particular site. If I seem to be mistaken...sorry? Haha. Anywho, I'm your average girl in High School who gets a little bored with reality and wouldn't mind indulging in an alternate universe where I can be anything but myself. Writing and even reading get my mind to relax and I'm sure all you other students know how stressful school can be...huh? So don't mind me just dropping a hello here and I do have some information about myself regarding how I roleplay below.


So first off, I absolutely cannot stand almost every fandom roleplay out there. They are unoriginal and literally take near to no character development or creativity. Some are a maybe, but it's quite rare you'll catch me in one. Some fandom based roleplays you might find me in are the following; Harry Potter, X-Men Origins, and a few select others. I prefer realistic roleplays such with a plot, setting, and your own character development. I appreciate a well written storyline and some sick characters to boot. The genres I enjoy include Human/Humanoid, Animalistic, Fantasy, or anything completely creative. Please don't be afraid to invite me to an RP because I can almost guarantee I'm too afraid to invite myself.


I do have a habit of disappearing for lengths of time due to life issues, amount of school work, events. I apologize, but people...I do have a life just like the rest of you. I can promise activity of maybe 48 hours total minimum a week. I will try to get on every night for half an hour at the least, but it doesn't always happen.


If anyone could take me under there wing, maybe teach me the ropes, I would be more than appreciative.

Welcome to RPN, RaSkull! There's no skill level required to role-play here: we have everything from people completely new to RP to those who have been doing it a couple of decades. As for the sort of RPs- we do have a lot of RPs with original characters and we also have fandoms. Don't be too afraid to visit the fandoms- a lot of them are just utilizing the setting, not the canon characters. To find the right RP for you, you can either post in RP recruitment, respond to someone there, or simply put in an application for a RP you like when browsing. =D


If you haven't already, take a look at the Welcome to RPNation greeting page by one of our admins. It has a lot of links to help you get started and gives you an overview of just about everything you need to know. You can also check out our Questions and Information forum for a list of the rules, staff list, BBcode guide, and the like. There's a lot of great information there and if you ever need to reach users or staff with a particular query, it is definitely the place to go!


BUT since you came here for RP, here's the really important links!

• If you fancy 1x1 Roleplays (private role-plays) there is a recruitment forum right here where you can find your perfect match(es). If you don't see a thread worth responding to, feel free to create your own!
  
• For group roleplays (3+ players) we have several places to look! The recruitment forum is here but you can also just peruse the role-plays themselves for the perfect choice. Here you can find the thread RPs (for a singular storyline) sorted by genre. Forum role-plays are used for bigger stories with several plot lines, larger groups, and the dice role-plays.
  

If you just want to chat about things, feel free to visit the Discussion Forums or visit our chatroom (called the "Shoutbox" on your top menu bar). Once you've made 10 posts, you'll also be able to use the website's Teamspeak, send private messages, alter your signature, and other neat stuff.
