Nyo-ho~
"Hey! Hey, relax!"
Kazuhiko's familiar panicked cry snapped Akiyama away from her pleasant daydreaming just as her claw whizzed an inch away from his hair.
"Ah...Sorry," she apologetically mumbled, quickly retracting her arm, returning it to it's natural position, coiled at her side.
She stood in awkward silence for a moment, eerily watching Kazuhiko as he regained his footing. With no response given, Akiyama assumed that she had earned his forgiveness, and turned away, preparing to take a few steps back to avoid anymore accidental collisions with her classmates.
Instead, to her surprise, as she'd taken her first step, Kazuhiko called out to her, asking for her to be his sparing partner.
Is he mad that I almost hit him? She wondered to herself.
Looking back over her shoulder at the boy she'd nearly struck, his face giving away as much information about his emotional state as her own. If he was angry about it, there was no way for her to tell.
Then again, it didn't really matter for her; over the break, after much deliberation and a talk from her old coach, she'd resolved that she would tackle the biggest weakness she had displayed during her fight with Reggie; she needed to learn how to fight outside of a ring, and put what she'd learned over the course of three years to use.
Turning the rest of her body to face Kazuhiko, Akiyama responded with a simple "Okay," followed by an inquisitive "What did you have in mind, Kazu?"
