The other students had presented their names, some seemed good and some she didn't quite agree with. She realized she was the last to go.
A hero name. They needed to figure one out. Tori thought about it long and hard. What would she want to be remembered as?
She supposed she could always change it later. And a costume. Oh wow. She had to have some amount of mysteriousness and style in her costume.
It would go well with her hair. She wanted it to be slender and allow for movement. A darker purple to balance out her brighter purple hair.
A skirt, yeah skirts tended to be bad ideas for costumes, but she was used to wearing them, especially with her family's designer brand.
Perhaps a hood.

As for the name. One stood out to her. She went up and presented her name.
"The telekinetic hero: Purple Reign" she said with little energy.
That would atleast have to do it for now. Perhaps she could change it later. She didn't know at the moment.
What was more important was growing stronger. If she didn't get enough power, how would she ever get her mother's freedom?
She went back to her seat. Uncertain of her choice.

"Skullcrusher! The strength! The fear it will inspire in villains across the world! You have a bright future with such a fearsome name boy!"

Responded Oni, patting Seth on the shoulder.

HOW AWESOME! WHAT A NAME!

Thought Oni before fielding the next student.

SP3CT3R SP3CT3R

"SPIRA GOLD, THE PERPETUAL HERO! How SLEEK, how modern! How MARKETABLE! A good hero name if lacking the bite of some of our other students."

Said Oni with a grin, casting a glance and a thumbs up to SKULLCRUSHER 👹

"And the outfit! Utilitarian, high defense, stylish! I APPROVE!"

Rambled the teacher, trying his best to be positive to the students who were spilling hero names and costumes in front of an entire class, a daunting prospect if done without any support.

PlusUltra PlusUltra

Last! But not least! Tori stood before the class describing her outfit and name.

"Purple Reign! A good name for a hero! But you may want to add defensive features to your outfit! MY OFFICE IS ALWAYS OPEN IF YOU'D LIKE SUGGESTIONS!"

Replied Oni as Tori sat down, clearly not a huge fan of long drawn out presentations, as evidenced by her despirited descriptions and quick exit.

SomebodyElse SomebodyElse

"NEXT!"

Student: Purin Amai
Location: Class 1-A
Interactions: Jet Jet

"NEXT!" shouted the crimson ogre as he glared in her direction.

A shiver went down Purin's spine as their eyes met.

"You! Pudding eater! You're up!" he said as he shoved his thick meaty finger in her direction.

She lavender-haired student quickly rose to her feet and turned around to face the class behind her. Inbetween her thin fingers she held a small whiteboard with her hero name written on it. Purin had put much thought into this choice ever since the day she was saved by that smiling hero. With confidence, she filled the board over to reveal the name behind.

The Candy Cadet, Prisma

Purin looked out into her class. She studied their faces of her classmates to try and judge their reactions.

"And why did you choose such a name?!" asked the demon teacher.

Purin looked back towards her teacher, "I chose this name and title to pay respect to the hero who saved my life, Supreme Soldier." A moment passed. The red ogre only responding with a swift nod. Purin turned back around towards the class before reaching down into her bag past the treats and towards her sketchbook. She opened the book and displayed it to the class.

"This is what I wanted my costume to look like."

On the large sketchbook page a drawing of a custom, obviously inspired by a soldier's uniform. Purin pointed to the lavender camo uniform.

"The style is obviously inspired, however, I did have to make a few modifications. The sleeves and legs had to be cut shorter because my quirk originates in my skin. The tactical belt will be fitted to carry my snacks so that I can replenish my sugar levels on the go. The buret is just a stylistic choice of course, and the boots would be made comfortable but still effective."

As she finished up her presentation she back down at her desk, wondering what the other had thought.

Claire Sion Bishop ++Sion, The Divine Helper!++

Claire was slow to raise his head, barely catching a boy disappearing to his right. Steps taken back, the contrasting energies engulfing his hands pulsed anxiously as if begging to be released, the one standing before him straining to hold something in. Meanwhile the small lad's mind felt clear, or at least clearer than before. Still annoyed at the letter, he no longer felt the need to do anything, and the pressure of his giant wings seemed to have just faded into the atmosphere. Alright. Caught off guard by the boy, he just stared at him for a bit, the flaring aura still being processed. Right after that desks begun floating, which brought on more noise from everyone else around him. Unable to really get anything, he walked to the offered seat as the door opened once more, a loud manly voice basically shutting everyone else up and ending whatever Claire walked into this morning.

During Oni's speech Claire's wings had been oozing their special properties at the classroom's rear, the wall behind him a black hazy mess that someone could fall through if not careful on one side, and a pure white radiance gracing the other. Unknowingly, this would continue throughout the session as children brainstormed details about the hero they imagined. So far they got some interesting names and most of the uniforms had purpose, style being secondary to the wearers. Speaking of style, after 'War Dog', the choices in color for the outfits suddenly went dark, and while this wasn't anything important, Claire pictured the general public reacting to an all-dark addition of superheroes. Alright, that would be a bit funny.

"WINGNUT, QUIT WASTING YOUR QUIRK AND COME UP HERE! NOW!" Controlled strength met the tabletop as the red demon roared at Claire. Surely the class felt the intensity, the young man mentioned dare lock eyes with the monster sitting at his desk.

Seconds went by as Claire finally stood up. Truth be told he was more stunned than anything at the moment, and the empty writing pad below did not help one bit. Starting in the teacher's direction he brought shadows and blinding light with him, the part about his Quirk left to the yin-yang wall behind. Front and center, the small boy gave Oni a look, getting a glare in return. To think that just this morning he wanted to blast this man. "My hero name will be Sion." Soft in sound but at a reasonable volume, the small lad continued. "Due to the nature of my Quirk, the idea of a costume never crossed my mind, and even with all the suits flying, running, and jumping about the place, I haven't given serious thought on it either." He could feel the eyes of his teacher burning a hole in his face, the scary aura he let off making the area feel hot.

Spotlight ditched, Claire took his seat, his less-sizable wings no longer emitting their element. The wall seemed better as well, the paint once again visible. Refusing to look in Oni's direction, he put his head down. Being without a costume must've lost some serious points. Maybe, they all felt he wasn't serious about the course because of this. Either way, costume or not, graduation was key.

He was proud of his selected outfit and name, as then the infamous Moron number one was called up. Seemed Oni wanted to get them finished up quickly. He stepped around back to his desk, looking over at Claire for a moment as he seemed to still be in thought about what he should select. Deciding not to distract him, Rosen leaned back in his chair and watched as students began their own presentation.

Street surf, it definitely fit based on what he saw when he was standing on the sludge like substance he got from the building. Rosen looking down at his pants again as he was still covered in some gunk, he tried to brush some off onto the floor. Grimacing as it was on his finger, the only way to get it off was by wiping back on his pants. Yeah, this was going to be annoying him for the rest of the day. Maybe he should go change into his gym pants for today? What a first day.

Rosen rolled his eyes at the teacher praising him, his design wasn't any better than his, in fact he'd argue what he presented was far better than that guy. "It was alright." He shrugged out his opinion as he waited for the next presenter. He watched, 'bug girl' be called on to present next, why was he calling her out like that? Seemed to just be his style. He watched her go up and kind of draw out her explanation. Rosen yawning slightly as he waited to hear her answer. Completely missing when she said her name somewhere in that splurge of words, The teacher speaking up about Spring Hopper, was that the name she said? No, the seemed to be talking about someone else. Rosen let out a sigh as he dropped his head back and looked at the ceiling, he completely missed it. Looking up as the teacher finally mentioned her as, "Aw, Natsu Stinger!" He said it louder than needed as he looked at her to see how the name fit, nodding at that. It was pretty cool actually. Hearing her describe her outfit he gave a nod at that, fighting her would actually be pretty difficult for him, mutation quirks didn't exactly have much energy for him to take advantage of, limiting his resource greatly, and with how long her appendages were, it wouldn't be easy keeping a distance and being able to get hits in... he was still mostly a close range fighter too, he couldn't rely on his distance attacks very much.

He seemed to be lost in thought about how he would take down an opponent like her, his current skill level might actually allow her to come out the victor... though he would never admit that in person. "I need to get better at conserving energy...." He mumbled a lesson to himself that maybe Claire would be able to hear sitting beside him, but the boy seemed to be distracted with picking out a name for himself.

Watching his old teammate reach the stage, a face he couldn't forget even if he tried. He gave a nod to him, expecting nothing but something cool, he seemed to be right on the money, the Halloween hero, Skullcrusher. Rosen gave a wide grin at him, offering a thumbs up, "Nice!" He called out to him, the guy had more style than he had given him credit for.

Next he saw the girl desperate to point out any inclination for a homo relationship within her classmates approach. He gave her a critical gaze as he listened to her name, Spira Gold, the Perpetual Hero. He gave a little nod, not bad for someone he kind of found annoying. Seeing the sketch of her hero costume, she was a pretty good artist, his own art he put in for his costume design wasn't quite as good, but his costume would probably still come out better. Listening to her ramble about all the gadgets she intends to have in her costume he grew bored again and actually let out a rather loud yawn, feeling a tear come out his eye in sheer boredom. Hero tech was never that interesting to him, it's better to rely on your own power, as a hero, right?

He watched the rather pretty purple haired girl who threw a tantrum earlier about the noise, she was annoying and loud, but it was kind of cool for her to be that fire-y about it. Quite the power to be able to raise all those desks too, now that he wasn't currently in that moment, he probably would have done the same thing in her position. The telekinetic hero: Purple Reign, huh? That was pretty cool, she'd be someone to look out for.

Watching the next girl go up who enjoyed eating pudding in class apparently, he watched as she announced her name, The Candy Cadet, Prisma, it was a slick name, not very 'cool' but it had a 'cute' vibe to it. It probably fit a girl like her pretty well. He nodded at the costume design, effective for what she needed, another one that might be harder for him to be a match with. Her power comes from sugary snacks it seems like, not a lot of energy he can pull from her. He'd have to be careful in close combat. His best bet would probably be staying back and waiting to get the perfect distant shot in on her.

Next he heard his wingnut desk neighbor being called up. Watching him get up he gave him a thumbs up of encouragement, this guy had some amazing power still. Sion, no design for his costume at all? That was unusual for anyone wanting to be a hero.

As Claire came to sit back down beside him, Rosen leaned over toward his desk, "If you want Sion, I can help you design an outfit? A heroes gotta stand out with some kind of costume afterall, even if you have some amazing wings already to stand out." He kind of wanted to help this guy keep going, and hopefully stay at his side as his ultimate resource. Offering a hand of friendship out to him, he finally introduces, "By the way, I'm Rosen. I think you and I will be the stars of this class." He gives a confident nod to him.

Reiko nodded agreeablely to Elizabeth's statement. "Thank you for standing up for me. I'm not really used to that." Glancing at the notebook the girl had mentioned, Reiko frowned slightly. After picking up the item and taking in a good whiff, the black haired girl would also agree that the mysterious liquid from the floor had ruined the scent. "Aww, that's too bad," Reiko shrugged, "Hopefully you'll be able to buy another one soon!"

The next few minutes were a bit of a blur for Reiko. So many things were going on, and she couldn't particularly keep up. At first, there was mostly shouting, until that quickly escalated into more infighting. At this time, Reiko tried to think on the positive side, and try to get a good idea of what her classmates could do. The boy will glasses seemed to have been the one to liquidify the floor, as seen by his further quirk usage. There were Rosen and Elizabeth, both of whom she already knew. Nao was no where in sight. The skeleton boy she had seen in the practical was also here. The other people, she didn't recognize. There was a boy with wings that wouldn't stop yelling, a girl with purple hair that managed to lift the tables momentarily, an emo-looking boy, some girl that apparently liked forward-thinking, if her way of speech was anything to go by, a short girl that looked like some sort of bug, and finally another purple-haired girl that keep eating pudding in between yelling at their classmates.

Jeez, this class was weird.

However, Reiko didn't have much time to dwell on this new information; their teacher had arrived.

She could hear his footsteps before she saw him, but their new teacher's appearance was nothing to scoff at. 'A...a..demon!!' Reiko shrieked inside her mind. She could practically feel the blood rush away from her face. She was even more terrified when he screamed at the troublemakers to start doing pushups, but she quickly recovered to quietly laugh, mainly focusing on Rosen. He probably fell behind the rest of the boys, as well as girls like her and Elizabeth in terms of athletic ability, if his scrawny being was anything to judge off of.

To her side, she saw Elizabeth raise her hand out of the corner of her eye. 'What is she doing? She'll be eaten!' The girl in question quickly made her way to the front of the room to present her hero name, War Dog. As nervous as Reiko was for her new friend, she gave her a thumbs up and a smile.

A few of other people went before Reiko decided she needed to start thinking about what she actually needed to do. One of the other troublemakers, Kazuhiko, became Battery. Rosen took on the name Infinite Spirit, which Reiko wasn't so sure she agreed with, unless it had a negative meaning. The kid with the glasses became Street Surf. The grasshopper girl wanted to be called Natsu Stinger. The skeleton boy took her slightly aback with his name: Skullcrusher. The forward-thinker was Spira Gold. The two girls with purple hair chose the names Purple Reign and Prisma. Finally, the boy with the wings walked towards the podium declared that his hero name would be Sion.

At this point, Reiko decided she wanted to just get this up and over with. Standing up, she moved towards the podium with a nervous smile. The eyes of her classmates were intimidating, but she refused to back down now. "My name is Reiko Kimura, nice to meet all of you." Blushing slightly, she continued after steeling herself. "I wish to be known as the Lapidary Hero: Medusa!"

After giving her hero name some time to sink in, Reiko tried to explain her costume situation. "I don't have much of an idea of my hero costume yet. For now, I'm just using my uniform. However, I'm thinking I will try to incorporate some kind of capture device, in order to pull villains towards me. That way, I'll be able to use my quirk on them."

"LAPIDARY Hero Medusa... ! Yes of course LAPIDARY, how DESCRIPTIVE!" shouts Oni, having no idea what Lapidary means, laughing as he rubs the back of his head. Before responding to Reikos outfit, or lack there of.

"We will have to fix that! A HERO WITHOUT A COSTUME! Is not working with a full deck young one. A well thought outfit can turn the average into INCREDIBLE! Come to my office if you'd like suggestions!" Finishes the teacher.

With that, the class settles in and Oni Jiro gives a summary of the year in advance, explaining the schedule, classes etc etc. Nothing of note don't worry.

Almost two weeks later, Friday.
It is Friday! The students have gathered for class! It's been almost two weeks of major drilling, physically and mentally. The students have improved, but are still young and have room to grow.

Fast forward about ten minutes, there's a development! A field trip! To the Hero Hall of Fame! Parental approval non necessary as it's a one day excursion to a neighboring city. The students gather at a bus at the front of the school and the door opens revealing Aisawa (Eraser Head) as the bus driver. Who knows how Oni pulled it off, but the only teacher scarier than the demon is your bus driver.... Great.

The bus drives away from the school and out of the city. The students are being predictably annoying as Oni actually LEADS roadway chants. Aisawa threatens to kill people roughly sixty eight times as the bus makes its way through a mountainside pass entering into a tunnel.

As they round a bend in the road they face a disaster! A massive pileup of cars, five deep, on fire as well. Innocent civilians struggle to escape the twisting wreckage but cannot because gasoline has ignited, creating a prohibitive wall of fire... It's straight out of a movie.

"MIND THE Bus AISAWA! I will handle this!" yells Oni casting a glare towards the kids, careful to keep the students in line.

Walking to the wreckage, Oni activates his quirk. Raw heat comes off his body in waves. The air becomes hazy around him and eventually ignites to a degree.

White flame coming off of him in random spurts, the atmosphere igniting, Oni Jiro walks straight through the wall of flame surrounding the wreckage.

"Do not worry miss, ONI JIRO does not allow innocents to die on his watch!" barks our teacher to one of the victims, a woman, struggling for air, sprawled out of her vehicles window, the car flipped on its roof.

As she gasps for air, she looks up at the hero desperately, struggling to say something, words non-perceptible over the crackling of flame.

"SPEAK CLEARLY MISS! PLEASE!" yells Oni, not critically as in class, but as a rescuer. Kneeling down to the woman, deactivating his quirk, gathering her in his arms.

"Bomb...."

She says, finally, the word creaking from her lungs.

"BOMB!"

"AISAWA GET BA--
tenor-12.gif

In an instant, every window in the bus shatters. If you were wearing ear buds, you lucky. Some students bleed from their ears from the concussive wave. Aisawa looks on in horror, trying to see if he can find Oni among the chaos, but he cannot see the red skinned man through the thick cloud of smoke that obscures the tunnel.

"Stay here... All of you... You are not Heros yet!" commands Eraser Head, stepping from the bus.

As Aisawa leaves the students alone, the road in front of the bus bulges, asphalt pushing upwards, spilling out, leaving a huge hole in the ground. The billowing smoke obscures them for a moment, but after a few seconds the emerging figures become clear, villains.

ASK FOR THE DIRECTORY IF YOU DIDN'T SEE IT ON DOSCORD PLZZZZZ

"Octane... Did you have to hit Oni with such a blast... I was hoping to fight him at full strength" says Volcanos, words a low growl through the smoke.

"Focus on the mission" comes another, speaking a calm, low, commanding tone.

"Fighting the third ranked Japanese hero at full strength, how manly! How idiotic!" comes a third voice, this one Sasuna, ending her joke with a chuckle, her speech sarcastic, elegant and feminine.

"Save your breath for the Jury, scum" spits Eraser Head, beginning the engagement by running towards the group, confident in his ability to take on the opponents. As they begin the fight, cautious, both sides feeling each other out. Oni Jiro emerges from the rubble, battered, beaten, blood smudged on the side of his lips, blending into his red skin.

"Follow the plan" comes the calm voice again, causing the villain group to seperate. Three stay to fight Oni and Aisawa. Eight walk to the bus to fight the students... One stands to the side, watching over the battle.

"Can we kill them?" comes the voice of another villain, one named Scatterbrain.

"Do what you must. As long as they are unable to signal for help" answers the calm one again.

"Excellent! It has been too long" answers Scatterbrain with a sick grin, one shared by a few of the more sadistic villains in the entourage.

As the eight approach the bus, one of the villains, a blonde woman, put her hands on the ground, sending vibrations up into the tunnel roof, collapsing the tunnel behind the approaching gang, seperating the students from the two teachers. Another villain, this one more machine than man, snaps his fingers, destroying every cell phone possessed by the students.

What will the students of 1-A do?

GM Notes

  1. The villains that stayed back to fight Oni and Aisawa are Sano, Tensei and Volcanos. It's in the directory I put in the discord chat.
  2. "Calm voice" is the unknown masked villain. He is the ring leader of this group (working under the big bad) he is not open for combat.
  3. Everyone else is open for battle, as their job is to stop the students from interfering or getting help.

Nice, a field trip was just what Rosen needed after his first week trying to finish an essay for his teacher about the honor and nobility or samurais or something. He couldn't keep track of how many words he wrote, but managed to finish about 9 and a half pages, hopefully not repeating himself too much. Filled with compliments to his teachers style, hoping the brown-nosing would help his teacher to go easy on him. When he had turned it in the week before, it didn't. Apparently it wasn't as long as Oni had said, and some paragraphs seemed to be repeating those of the previous page. He had to do a few sit ups and pushups as punishment. If anything he was a lot stronger without his quirk now, since it was against the rules to use Quirks during Oni's punishments. He seemed to be the one getting in trouble the most as well, for getting frustrated with the two girl classmates of his that he's been at the throats of at the beginning. When Luka messes with him it doesn't help much either, at least Luka usually gets in trouble too and Rosen can watch him struggle to use what muscle he has.

Today was gonna b e a nice field trip to the hero hall of fame though, he could relax a bit! He actually didn't know that much about heroes, many of his classmates especially at this school knew a lot. He only started pursuing hero work because his Quirk was a pretty handy one when used correctly and his little sister used to always say how he was like a hero. She loved heroes too. Going to the hero hall of fame might be good for him to see what kind of heroes there are, maybe the pussycats were in the hall of fame? Those were some his sister adored back in the day when they were on the news.

Sitting beside his desk mate in the back of the bus, he found himself in a rather good mood today, things were looking up, especially being able to ditch classes in order to attend this field trip. Seeing Oni lead the chants that seemed to be annoying the other pro hero, it was quite fun on the bus. Rosen happily joining in, enjoying the chaos that was the bus ride.

As the bus comes to a halt, Rosen sees Oni lock eyes with the class, warning people to stay put as he walks out. Moron number 2 running for a better view on the other side of the bus to look out the window. Keeping an eye as he watches Oni step through, covered in white flame. "Bad. Ass." He commented as he watched the pro hero in action. Hearing the call of "BOMB" But not in time for the explosion to knock him back, his eyes burning and blurred from the bright light and his ears ringing. Reaching up with gritted teeth to touch his ear, they were bleeding. His eardrum must have burst. The ringing blaring in his head as he turned to the front noticing Aizawa.

Looking out to see the bus driver charge out to join the fight, he couldn't hear anything the man said. Looking toward the villians again, he could only recognize Volcanos, that was one of the pro-heroes he used to watch with his sister on the news... he had no clue the man turned villain. A lot of heroes seem to be turning villain. Seeing the blond woman kneel down, as the villains approach, He could feel the earth shake as the tunnel collapsed. Split off from watching the fight between the villains and his teachers.

Rosen reaching over to the winged boy he knew was sitting close by, he absorbed some power from him before allowing his body to power up and tense full of adrenaline. "YOU BASTARDS!" He yelled, having no idea how loud he may have been with his scream as his ears took in no noise other than the ringing in his head from the explosion. He jumped through the window, ignoring the glass that cut his leg and arm just a little bit as he numbed his body. He charged in to land a punch on the crouching blond.

A woman in a Kimono with short purple hair intercepted him as he threw his right hook, she held up her purse, as his arm swung through the hoop of the bag. His body falling forward as the handle banged against his shoulder and she used it to yank him back and toss him down.

Falling backward, having missed his opportunity to attack the woman who caused the collapse. The villains seeming to say something to mock him that he couldn't quite make out as he pushed himself back to his feet, eyes on the woman. He jumped up to try and punch down at her, she easily dodged, stepping to the side, to which Rosen stuck his leg out in a spinning kick to try and catch her off guard, only for her to duck out of the way as if she expected it. As he fell she swung her purse around to knock him in the head, grabbing his leg and tugging so he fell on his face. She wasn't that strong, but constant hits without getting one on her was a huge problem. If she expected everything he was going to do, he wasn't sure what his next move should be as he pushed himself back to his feet, getting in a ready stance as he tried to watch her and picture what she was expecting. Her posture was just so loose, like she knew what he was doing and didn't care. She couldn't be predicted.

The next two weeks flew by in a blur of tests, studying, and physical fitness. Jiro-sensei seemed to love physical fitness. It seemed his answer for everything; punishment? Pushups. Class not working as hard as they should be? Laps. He thought everyone looked particularly weak that day? More laps. Which for Elizabeth, was fine. Her quirk gave her the speed and endurance of a wolf, and she was pretty content just running and doing the exercises as he required them. Anything to stop him from yelling. She'd actually quite enjoy him as a homeroom teacher--she was pretty comfortable with his drill sergeant style--if he wasn't so goddamn loud.

So at least they were going to the Hall of Fame. That was a museum, right? A museum where being loud was generally discouraged. Hopefully it would give Liz's ears a break, finally.

As far as her social life went, it was more or less what she had expected when she started at the school. Elizabeth kept her head down, did her assignments, and worked with others when she was told to. She and Rosen tended to give each other some nasty glares when they were forced to cross paths. But for the most part, save some polite conversation with people who spoke english and her team from the exam, she kept to herself.

Elizabeth had taken to sitting next to Reiko on the bus ride, closer to the window. In her hands she held a jar of peanut butter she'd brought with her as a snack, eating from a plastic spoon. She spoke to her, occasionally stopping to try and lick it off the roof of her mouth with a click as her tongue ran along it.

"...we don't have heroes in America that are nearly as good," she continued saying, in the middle of a conversation; she wasn't used to having a friend to talk to, if she had to be quite honest. She wasn't exactly chatty, but she definitely talked more. "We like to act like our heroes are comparable but everyone knows the best in Japan are basically the best in the world. I think this will be really cool--"

Elizabeth stopped. Her ears perked up when she heard what sounded like car horns. She smelled the faint whiff of smoke. "Was there an accident?" She asked.

She didn't see one. Yet. But she could catch it before the others could anyway. Honestly, she felt a little stupid trying to point it out when she knew Reiko wouldn't hear it. Sure enough, as they passed up the mountain, the roadside chants Jiro-sensei insisted upon died down and they approached a wreckage. Elizabeth gripped her seat, as if she was going to stand, until a glare from their teacher stopped her.

Right. He was a hero. He'd handle it. He left the bus, Aizawa following, and Elizabeth frowned.

"How do you think a wreckage this bad--"

And then all hell broke loose.

The windows shattered. Elizabeth immediately felt a searing pain in her ears from the loud, high pitched sound of the bomb. She screamed in pain, falling, landing on her knees only to curl up into a ball on the floor of the bus covering her ears. Her necklace started to burn at her skin as her fight-or-flight kicked in.

Calm down...got to calm down...

She couldn't hear anything. Her ears were still ringing. When Elizabeth finally removed her hands, she saw that they were bleeding. She took a deep breath, fingers digging so hard into the leather seat of the bus that she caused tears. Slowly, she managed to struggle to her feet, supporting herself on the wall.

"What...what's...going on..." She said, unable to hear herself over the ringing in her ears, teeth gritted. A high pitched whine left her throat that made her sound like a dog. "This is so bad--"

She glanced toward the front of the bus and froze.

Villains. No Aizawa. Coming straight toward them. Elizabeth clutched at her necklace, as the burning pain intensified and she collapsed in on herself.

She'd never been so terrified. But she couldn't let her quirk get the best of her, not now, not ever, not when--

--not when Rosen was being an idiot and charging at one of them like it was the best idea in the world.

Great, he set the precedent, 'running away' was not an option. Elizabeth looked at the bag she'd brought with her.

"Reiko," she managed to say, "in my bag there's...a syringe...you know those horror movies...where the guys tells his friend to shoot him if he's bitten by the zombies?" She clutched her head, feeling dizzy. "It's kind of like that. You'll know if you need to it on me. Just...trust me..."

She had no intention of actually using it. But it never hurt to be prepared. Elizabeth took a deep breath, forcing her heart rate to slow down and fought through the ringing in her ears to make it onto the road, off the bus. "ROSEN!" She shouted, "ROSEN YOU'RE GETTING YOURSELF--"

She stopped.

He'd been fighting someone, right?

Where did he...?

Elizabeth felt a sharp pain at the back of her head, making her stumble forward. She turned and threw a punch, only to realize there was no one there.

"Huh?"

In fact, she didn't see anyone. No bus. No tunnel. Just the road.

Did the blast make her pass out? Another hit, and she whipped her head around.

"Who's doing this?!"

"Right here."

She straightened, raising her fists, trying not to betray how much her head hurt. The man standing before her was eerily familiar, though she'd never actually met him. But something about that white face...she'd seen him on the news.

"You escaped."

Scatterbrain, sentenced to life in prison. The villain looked remarkably casual for someone that was about to murder a high school freshman. He rubbed the back of his head.

"You did too. You seem like you're in pretty bad shape."

Elizabeth felt blood starting to trickle down the side of her face.

"It almost doesn't seem fair," he continued, "sure you want to take me on? I've been looking forward to this. You'll be my first kill in a long while and I wanted it to be a bit more of a chall--"

Her fist made a very satisfying connect to Scatterbrain's jaw. He stumbled back, and Elizabeth shook off her hand, grimacing.

"That challenging enough for you?" She snapped. "I'm in good enough shape to get a hit on you."

Scatterbrain wiped the blood off of his mouth. He looked at it, then looked back up with a wicked, off kilter grin.

"...are you sure you did?" He asked. "Your ears are bleeding pretty badly, you know. How can you hear me talk?"

Elizabeth's eyes widened in fear. "What is that supposed to--"

Another hand, seemingly invisible, hit her in the back of the head. She fell to her knees, coughing as she hit the ground.

Reiko was very excited when their (literal) demon teacher had announced they were going on a field trip. After a good two weeks of extensive and difficult training, she definitely needed a break. The constant pressure of Yuuei, her future as a hero, and trying to please her family was already wearing her thin. 'I'm being a wimp,' she thought to herself on the bus, from where she sat next to Elizabeth, 'honestly. It's just going to get more difficult. After all, it hasn't even been a month yet.'

Sighing to herself about her current predicament, Reiko resigned to texting her mother about what was going on today. Eiko Kimura had been out of the country for the past week, working on a business trip, and, as always, she expected her daughter to keep her up to date about what she was doing.

She looked up when the bus stopped abruptly. Reiko had sit closer to the back, so she was unable to see, but the shouting of her teacher was worrying her. Smoke was billowing in the air around the bus. 'It must be some sort of fire, then,' she thought to herself. 'That's no good, but Sensei's quirk is related to fire, right? He'll probably be okay.'

Reiko sat back in her chair, but it was only seconds later that she heard more yelling. And then...

She couldn't hear. Or maybe it was that Reiko could hear too well. The ringing in her ears was obnoxious and she couldn't help but wince in pain. 'What on earth was that?!'

Glancing around, she noticed the shattered windows and felt blood running out of her ear. Turning to her bus partner in order to ask what exactly was going on, she noticed the other girl was curled up on the ground, clutching her ears, presumably in pain. 'Oh no,' she gasped, 'Elizabeth has enhanced hearing, doesn't she?' Hurriedly looking around the bus, Reiko took a mental headcount of all the other people in their class. The girl in question tried to stand up, but she quickly fell back to the ground, grasping at her neck.

Reiko had the forethought as to not start screaming; in fear for herself, or Elizabeth, or with anger at the situation, she wasn't sure. Her ears were still ringing, and they probably were the same. But she sure wanted to. 'At least no one else has enhanced senses.'

Just as she looked up, she heard Rosen start yelling and run out of the bus. 'Aren't we supposed to stay here?' she thought. Elizabeth was grabbing at her legs, and Reiko quickly bent down to listen to what she was trying to say. The girl quickly threw out some haphazzard explanation about a syringe and using it if necessary before running off. "Hey! Where are you going?" She whispered as loud as she possibly could. Reiko was just about to follow, but then she noticed the approaching group of people.

Villains.

They were nothing new to Reiko. Her whole family were pro-heroes, after all. Hell, she had stood on the sidewalk many times while her family had took on villains. But the sensation of seeing them coming straight towards her, without her father, her grandparents to protect her, was terrifying. Shivering slightly, Reiko stood up and grabbed on to the seat in front of her to hold herself steady. She couldn't see their teachers, Elizabeth was God-knows-where, Rosen was facing off against some lady in a kimono, and her classmates were in disarray. Frankly, Reiko thought that she was already dead.

She reached for her phone as fast as she could. Reiko needed to text someone about what was going on. Her father, the police, the Yuuei personal line, she didn't care. But she needed to try and reach help. None of them were fast enough to run for it. Unfortunately, she didn't get very far; the tight grip on her electronic became detrimental to her health as it shattered into pieces, many of which lodged themselves into her right hand. Reiko screamed in pain and anger combined. Rummaging through Elizabeth's bag proved futile; her phone had been destroyed as well. However, the tiny first aid kit inside proved useful. After pulling out the largest pieces with her fingers, Reiko wrapped her hand in the small amount of gauze included, and prayed it would stay.

At this point, Reiko had decided her plan had been blown to shit. Pulling up Elizabeth's bag onto her shoulders, she took one last glance around the bus. The rest of her classmates were recovering, but, seeing as she was lucid, she figured she needed to go and help.

Reiko stepped of the bus as cautiously as she could. Rosen and Elizabeth were nowhere to be seen, but neither were the villains. They quickly solved that problem though, and proved their point by throwing one of the burning cars directly at her.

Thankfully, Reiko was able to dodge the projectile, but she was left gasping from it. This was more harrowing than she could have imagined. After finally catching her breath, she looked up at her assailant. The person, or rather.... machine, was terrifying. 'Don't tell me I'm about to fight the robot man....'

The presence of Kazuhikos earbuds prevented the full perforation of his eardrums. So unlike some of the others with bleeding ears he only suffered the ringing. For once, the boys tendencies to slip into a world of thought had paid off, for he had been listening to music to escape the chanting, yelling and constant conversation that had been taking place on the bus for the last hour or so.

From his vantage point at the far back of the vehicle, he couldn't see much, but he could tell that shadowy figures were approaching.... That villains, were approaching, and beyond them still were the two teachers who squared off against a small group of other, likely more powerful enemies including one who looked relatively familiar to the boy whos heart raced, panicking to some degree.

Shit! Shit what are we supposed to do! Thought Kazuhiko, frantic, standing shakily, looking out the front of the bus right as the roof of the tunnel collapsed, sending a huge plume if dust towards the students.

What the hell is going on.... These guys are the real deal! Continued the boy in thought, his hand shaking as he pondered his next move. He knew they had to fight, that they had to risk their lives or lose them without contest, but this was no exam, this wasn't a test, this was the real thing and Kazuhiko wasn't ready. Hell, he'd only been STUDYING to become a hero for a couple of weeks, and now, apparently, he'd have to put what he'd learned into practice.

Kazuhiko debated if his best move would be to curl up in a ball and dieh... That was until Rosen, in typical fashion, flung himself out the front window right into the thick of everything, snapping Kazuhiko from his daze.

Taking his earphones out Kaz prepared himself for a real life battle, the type he'd only known through a television set. As he did this, he noticed that his music had stopped playing, and after a quick inspection he noticed that his phone had been mangled beyond repair.

"Fuck" he muttered to himself with a chuckle, awknowledging the irony, that he was complaining about a god damned phone in the middle of a literal life or death situation.

Collecting himself, he made his way to the front of the bus, exiting the vehicle, looking out across the infantile battleground.

Rosen was engaged with a woman who looked like a Geisha meeting a demon, meeting a socialite. While Reiko was being struck by a white skinned man wearing some kind formal Korean suit. She looked in need of assistance, so Kazuhiko began running towards her, only to be blasted away by an explosion, senind him flying back some twenty feet.

"Ahhh God damn it" yelled the boy as he bounced off the ground several times, coming to a rest some thirty feet to the left of the bus, injured but alive. With the surprise nature of the attack he had been unable to even come close to a full absorption and had tanked most of the blast without his quirk being triggered. At best he had absorbed 40% and he could feel it as he stood on shaky legs, his back already in severe pain.

"Presumptions are the seed of mistake boy. With so many combatants, to think you can double team my comrade is a foolhardy at best. Lethal against one like me." came the words of a tall, dark-skinned man who stepped towards Kazuhiko, a cluster of pebbles in his hand.

Only 10% charge, fuck, fuck this guy's strong what do I do!?! Thought Kazu as he spread into a combat stance.

Over the 2 weeks Jean remains the ball of energy throughout the drills and testing, though strangely enough the exact nature of her quirk is still a topic of confusion with some believing it to be augmented physical strength, some wind manipulation or other just super speed with the fluidity and nature of her movements often making it difficult to notice precisely what the heck she was doing.

Fast forward 2 weeks and she is thrown from her day dreaming as something shakes the bus and a glass cuts past her cheak while they tumble to the floor from the force, seems noise cancellation headphones was not the best of ideas in retrospect....or maybe they where as she turns to look at them with several shards embeded in the side of them that would have hit her head otherwise. Raising her head to look out the window she now sees the field of chaos on the road, eyes widening with shock while she quickly scrambles to pull several items from her bag, the sound of skirmishing echoing outside with several students missing from the bus she new something bad had happened.

Ok first things first, lines of communication.....looking to the strangely shattered phone pieces in her bag. Ok one that wasnt going to work, two? someone broke her phone and just voided their own warranty if they ever get hold of them. Ok....so try and get people together.

A Nervous grin forms across her features and steadily grows into a wide smile, shouting around "Everyone stick together, This is going to be fine......we outnumber them, were the good guys, and we have 2 pro-heroes out there!....Plus more on the way since this wasnt subtle so you know the phones are blowing up somewhere!" but the others still on the bus where already making a break for it on their own. Sighing she looks to the others still present "Go and help out the others if you can, Luka if you can hear me.....do your manipulation thing and try and close off the area so we dont get more people in......Ill look for anyone hurt and we can use this Bus as a makeshift first aid station i guess, any left try to make some rest spots" throwing a thumbs up before leaping out the window sadly lacking her costume aside from a few assorted items in her pockets.

Shes notices another explosion and is trying to rush towards it before suddenly a glob of liquid seems to come flying her way from their peripheral vision. On reflex the girl spins palm flat towards the projectile as it appears to be blasted away and turns to see the attacker. "Oh common now thats disguisting!" Only to be met with a wall of teeth as they launch themselves at her at high sped, the girl pivoting on a foot last moment to avoid the attack "And Biting?! Villians really dont have any manners now do they?.....". She backs off a little to try and make some space as she looks over the villian, eyes focused for a moment but smile still across her features.

Ok with how they moved its all based on leg strength, giving them great speed...they dont seem to be using their hands as much, same with stance....but they look like a animal, so something with high leg strength......spitting as well. That narrows it down as a eye moves to the droplets on the ground simply sitting there, they used it as a attack, right its not acidic then, so since it wasnt congealed either when it flew away like something sticky, poison was the best bet.

Ok so Lizard...or Amphibian based, Colds out of the question with all the fires around...Legs are their strength but maybe also something they rely on too much. Ducking a kick that shot towards their face soon answered that question as she blocks last moment before starting to laugh herself. "Wow....you really cant hit anything can you? Is that why you have the glasses?.....Is it wrong to hit a guy with classes?.....I mean you already seem to have the short straw on the costume....it reminds me of one of those old onesys i wore as a kid".

The constant talking of Jean combined with the dodging of her attacks appears to be frustrating the villian more and more if the gritting of the teeth was any indication "YOU FECKING SNOT STAIN! JUST STAND STILL....WAIT GUY?!....IM A WOMAN DAMN IT!" the attacks are speeding up but Jean seems to have carried out first part of her plan, get them angry, get them sloppy and distracted...oh time to keep it up "Oh really? I mean you looked as older than my mother, I guess its the quirk thing....dont worry when you grow up you might get some curves too" chuckling as she strikes a pose only to get another kick thats narrowly dodged. "IM 27!....." "Im sorry to hear that.....I mean outfit, looks....you really drew the short straw in life right? Please tell me you got a cool villian name.....Hmm, Spit-Take (Japenese pronouncisation of Take)?....oh Jumpman!...hmm no wait no nintendo wouod sue.....then again you are a villian so i dont see that as a issue right?.....though again in this entire ordeal your more the Waluigi of this".

The verbal barrage continues as does Darts physical one, with Jean focusing on the dodging despite her mouth constantly moving, building up more and more energy as she does. Dodging spit and legs was pushing her but given by the eventual slowing of Dart it seemed to work, Lizards could move fast but they dont do it in rapid succession for long periods...menaing that sort of endurance isnt a thing. As the speed drops Jean begins her counter attack with the next kick recieving a solid elbow strike down on the joint before getting in far too close for comfort with several knee, elbow, fast downward strikes, stomps to the leg on the ground before a throw launches the exhausted Dart smash into one of the cars denting the door. The final exchange seems to happen in seconds and if the several cracks where any indication they were definately not soft touches, though Jean does not seem to be done as she is dashing towards where the woman landed intent on making sure she stayed down or at least keep her offbalance and at a disadvatnage.

This is bad...this is bad...this is bad...

Elizabeth shook her head off and struggled back to her feet. Her body felt like it was on fire, and she was sure she'd get some pretty bad burns when all was said and done--in addition to the possibly broken ribs she got from getting kicked while she was down, literally. Why was he doing this? Was he really going to just beat her to death on the ground? Where was the gun, the knife?

The answer was obvious. He was enjoying this. Scatterbrain was a notorious criminal--he was known to not only kill his victims, but also make them think he was killing their family. In front of them. He was one of the most sadistic villains of their generation. Elizabeth got the energy to roll, her quirk giving her a strength boost as it fought against the silver suppressing it. She got to her feet, hunched over, fingers curled as if they were claws. Elizabeth shielded her face with her arms, only to feel a punch to her stomach. Elizabeth barely managed to keep from falling over again.

"What kind of coward doesn't show their face when they kill someone?" Elizabeth snapped, stumbling forward with a counter punch that missed, utterly. She heard him laughing and whipped her head to the sound.

"...you're right."

Elizabeth's eyes widened, as she became surrounded by Scatterbrains. They all smiled at the same time, the off kilter grin that made her stomach drop.

"Try hitting me again!" He exclaimed, laughing, "this should be fun! I'll even give you some time to decide."

Elizabeth swallowed, balling her fists, a low growl rumbling in her throat.

Think...think! Elizabeth shook her head, trying to silence the ringing in her ears. There had to be some way to figure out which one was the real one.

But what could she do? She couldn't trust what she was seeing. She couldn't trust what she was hearing.

Seeing...or hearing...

"SHARP! I HAVE A SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT FOR YOU!"

Elizabeth stopped running laps around the track with the other students, jogging back to Jiro-sensei. With one week of the school year down, she was able to hear him yell without visibly flinching. She gave a quick salute. "Yessir, Jiro-sensei sir!"

He crossed his arms, looking her over. "TODAY WE WILL BE DOING SEARCH AND RESCUE EXERCISES."

She blinked, confused. "I'll be happy to do them, Jiro-sensei--"

"YOU WILL BE DOING THEM BLINDFOLDED...AND WEARING THESE NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES!"

Surprisingly, the blindfold didn't bother her as much. It was strange, but her sense of hearing more than made up for it...so the headphones, those were what concerned her.

"But sensei--how am I going to know where I'm going if I can't--"

He grabbed the headphones, putting them on her head. He kept shouting.

Wow, these were good. She couldn't hear a thing. Elizabeth frowned and pointed to them. He took them off.

"YOU HAVE AN INCREDIBLE QUIRK, SHARP," He said, "ANIMAL QUIRKS ARE ALWAYS VERY VERSATILE. YOU HAVE GOOD INSTINCTS AND YOU MAKE EXCELLENT USE OF YOUR SENSE OF HEARING. USING IT DURING THE EXAM TO HELP PINPOINT THE LOCATION OF THE ROBOTS WAS A MAJOR FACTOR IN YOUR ACCEPTANCE."

Elizabeth nodded. "...thank you, sir. But what does that have to do with headphones?"

"IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE WASTING YOUR QUIRK'S POTENTIAL! YOU KNOW HOW TO CAPITALIZE ON YOUR SENSE OF HEARING. I WANT TO PUSH YOU AND SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR SENSE OF SMELL. IN ANY DANGEROUS SITUATION WHERE THERE IS A LOT GOING ON AT ONCE, IT CAN BE DIFFICULT TO PINPOINT SOUNDS--YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO EXPLOIT THE BROAD SPECTRUM OF YOUR ABILITIES! YOUR SENSE OF SMELL IS AN EXCELLENT TOOL--I EXPECT TO SEE YOU USE IT TODAY!"

It seemed a bit excessive.

But he did have a point. It didn't hurt to learn not to fall back on her sense of hearing.

Jiro-sensei held a blindfold out to her. Elizabeth grabbed it and tied it around her head. She took a deep sniff.

She realized that her teacher smelled like sweat and barbecue...

Elizabeth closed her eyes.

"Do you give up already?"

She ignored the voice he was forcing into her head and tried to focus.

There was a smell that lingered on Scatterbrain, something like curdled milk. A dying smell that matched his zombie complexion. Her nose twitched. It was unpleasant.

"I'm getting impatient!"

Elizabeth opened her eyes, unable to resist the impulse. Every Scatterbrain surrounding her ran at her at the same time. She flinched, and as she closed her eyes, she focused on the scent she'd picked up--the scent of him as he moved closer, and she thought she pinpointed it--

Elizabeth pivoted to the side, grabbing the arm of the Scatterbrain that had been coming at her from the right. They locked eyes, and just for a moment--Scatterbrain looked shocked.

Elizabeth flashed a very pained, very wobbly smile.

"...your quirk can't affect sense of smell, can it?"

It was the adrenaline, Elizabeth acting more wolfish than usual. His hand was right near her, so she did the only thing that felt right:

Elizabeth bit down on his hand as hard as she could. The bite force of a wolf? 1500 pounds per square inch. Scatterbrain shouted in pain and, for a moment, everything was clear again.

"Nice weapon, did you make it yourself?"

Teeth grit, the light blonde tossed his right hand at the handle. Simply refusing to take his eyes off her, he flapped his wrist about, strained fingers praying for the slightest touch. Leaned against the bus, he watched the female Super-villain strut as if a catwalk and cameras lied between them. That's right, he was cornered. He got cornered. The bus was approaching the tunnel, chanting happily, and loudly on its way to an unforeseen accident. They'd been had, and in these final moments selfishness and the will to live was all that mattered.

...Let's take a step back.

Relatively quiet, today was Friday. Why was that important? A field-trip to the Hero Hall of Fame was scheduled on this day. Nice right? The class seemed totally psyched, and despite spending a week and some with them, he knew, or had an idea on why they all seemed so happy. Oni Jiro. That man was a really cool teacher, Kinkuno gave him that, but his cons lied in the constant shouting he did, and the punishments imparted upon the deserved would naturally be on that list. Basically this was a breath of fresh air for everyone. Added bonus? Getting to see the Hero Hall of Fame! Kinkuno wasn't as stoked as most, but it did catch his interests. After all, the tour could give him tips on being a better fake superhero, and at this point, absorbing all he could was phase one of living the dream.

Fearlessly onward, the crew carried on through the city and straight up the mountainside. Unsure of the exact speed, Kinkuno did know they were moving fast. Everything out the window a blur up until Aizawa's hidden race-car side took over. While entangled within the text of a story the world was but another dimension to him, the lingering paranoia that the big transport would take a leap of faith and have them plummet to their deaths because of an unpredictably bad driver. Voices blared in the background, one standing out with its familiarity from class. The drive overall was a sweet one. Wind blowing in his hair, imagination flowing back and forth between the reader and his book. Kinkuno couldn't ask for anything more. Actually he could, but he just wouldn't bother.

Dreadfully awakened by an explosion, Kinkuno's reflexes shoved him between the seats. He chilled there for a bit, fixing his glasses. Whatever that loud bang was, it came from outside. Outside. Fellow students all acted, some going out to meet the encroaching danger, others still feeling it. Blood. It wasn't much, but his ears were definitely screwed by the explosion. Putting a palm on the smooth material matted beside him, he pushed a hole sharing his exact shape and size into the thing. What was once part of the bus laid on the road looking like life-sized paper cut-outs of Kinkuno. Successfully escaping, he grabbed the bundled cut-outs, taking in the area before making his way away from the scene. Then she appeared.

"I figured one of you little rats would come this way." She teased in her strong yet endearing feminine voice.

Extra notes: (The lady is Quill by the way.)

Meanwhile, Rosen still stood face to face with this woman in a Kimono, Unknown to him her name being Sasuno her pink eyes watching him as a smug smirk crossed over her strange marionette looking face. She seemed to say something in mocking off him, trying to get him to approach. His stance staying stiff as he thought about his options. If he had backup, he could probably get a hit on her, where was Kaz when he could actually use his help in trying to outnumber this villain? Probably busy with one of the others. His eyes glanced toward the bus, noticing some people beginning to leave and engage as well, this was the bad thing about being the first to engage, he gets stuck with an annoying match that everyone assumes he can handle, or not, come to think of it. It was unlikely any of his classmates believed in him, "Tch." He gritted his teeth and lowered in his fighting stance further, glaring back at this woman, her mouth moving again as the buzzing in his head continued as he tried to focus.

He watched as this woman laughed at him in his path as she pulled out some kind of baton from her purse, swatting it downward to force it to extend, she hit a button to show him, an electric current jolted around the baton. Taking a step back as she started walking toward him, confident as ever. What should he do? Stay on the defensive?

He watched he attack as she swatted toward him, he dodged to the left, just as he suddenly changed direction and swatted toward him. He tried to react quickly and push himself back. Feeling the tip of the baton smack his cheek, the electricity shocking his body for a moment before he numbed it, "Fuck..." He muttered. Being the defensive wasn't going to work, she still knew exactly how he would dodge somehow. He's never met her before, how in the hell did she know? Must have been her Quirk.

She was approaching again. What could he do? He could try and move faster than she can, but if he does that he may run out of energy before he finishes her off... he could try and overexert himself in order to get a good hit, no, she'll definable be able to dodge that. As that thought passes through his head he can see her smirk at him, as if they both knew exactly what he had considered. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, he has to clear his mind. Recalling all the insane training he did under Oni. The man pushed him more than anyone he had ever encountered in his life. Telling him to be less predictable, it was time to put that into practice.

He didn't move as she approached, his eyes closed as he surged power through his body, he got a decent amount from the wingding(Claire), so he waited. Just as he thought, he felt the electric shock smack at his left arm, opening his eyes, she was a bit surprised he refused to move, but took as him giving up. She swung back to swing again toward his head. 'i should duck' he could see her start to turn the weapon downward before he thought again, 'maybe jump?' Making sure not to settle on what to do as he thought of enacting all his option he reached out and grabbed the baton, sending energy to his palm to numb the pain while he gripped it. His own action surprised him. Cracking it under his fist, he broke off that half, tossing it aside. His left palm he was sure had a nasty third degree burn, but at least he could numb it for the moment.

She only smirked as if congratulating him, almost like now she was having fun. He glared harder in her direction, she was pissing him off now. He bolted toward her, thinking of a right hook as he swung back, then switched last second to the left, she managed to step aside, predicting his new method. "DIE!!" He demanded facing his hands toward her, he let loose a powerful blast of a bright energy toward her, her eyes going wide for a second as she tried to move further to the left to try and move again. Seemed she didn't expect that ability with his Quirk at least. He grinned as he saw her right side had been singed pretty bad, her right arm out of commission as it bled. He breathed heavily as he felt his energy lower, at least he got some damage on her. That trick wouldn't work again though and he was already feeling that he was going to be slowed down, or he could speed up to try and get some hits in and then probably pass out. That wouldn't be the smartest though, with so many villains here and probably all his classmates in similar predicament.

It just seemed to dawn on him, that he could actually die here.. Oni wasn't back yet, Eraser was still on the other side with him helping with those other villains. The entire class 1-A could die here.

He watched as the marionette woman glared and putting her purse over her useless shoulder, using her good hand to pull out small blades, like the kind ninjas use, shurikans. She was going to keep her distance now, while watching him. He was back on the defensive because he knew attacking first would be useless and a waste of what energy he has left. This was fine, it would be just like when Oni set him up in that game of dodge ball, the whole class versus him. He ended up with a lot of bruises that time, but this one should be easier since the blades are smaller than dodgeballs... right? He gulped as he awaited round 2 of this fight.

As Jean drew closer to the downed woman she realised somethign was wrong, sure anger in that woman that she had taken advantage of seemed to almost vanish and instead she was....Hissing?. It was only once she was slightly too close that she realised, when she saw that look in her eyes that the logical side was gone, leaving a far more animalistic one. Before Jean could even blink the woman was back on her feet and clawing towards her at insane speeds catching her several times with thin cuts despite her efforts to dodge, wincing in pain as the crazed woman continued, mouth open and that liquid from before pouring out in soft drops.

Too fast to dodge, too fast to react to what she could see, plus they were ignoring the breaks with the renewed energy. It wasnt long before the previous positions were reversed with Jean breathing heavy and bearly stadning with outfit stained red, she might be in more pain but her limbs felt numb and heavy barely able to move. This was not how she expected her day to go, but as her breathing continued she started to notice something...that strange sensation she normally had when moving, as the blows came in there was something else there, slight turns to the air she could feel before hit landed....and so with that she did what came naturally, she moved. Jean had no idea if it was the blood loss making her lighted headed or somethign else but she tried to focus on the feeling.....no focus was the wrong word, she started to let it guide her was a better term.

The spin came in and she spun with it, the forces of the strikes themselves guiding her along like a willow in the wind. She was placing barely energy into the movements and shifting only slightly rather than her normal methods and it was working. And so the battle spun around once more, only this time the dodging wasnt taking everything she had, this time it was only natural, and through blurry vision she carried on. Its like she wasnt moving her limbs at this point, her quirk was...each spin in a smooth arc, and now she felt it.....it was time to use it.

Darts strike came in and she spun, hand landing delicately on the reptilian woman and the force traveled through her as elbow came into the side of the head, all the force of the blow that had just been directed at Jean. Then it happened again, and again. From a distance it was almost as if Jean was standing still right until the last moment and then a flash as Dart reeled back once more. The fight continued until with one final crack Dart was down on the ground, a faint spasm from their leg as they tried to move but was clear they were now spent, now? now she had to try and move herself to find the people trapped and get them out to saftey. Gritting her teeth Jean moves sluggishly around the area and dust, locating those trapped beneath the cars and debris and doing all she can to get them out, dragging them along with herself back to the bus before heading out once more each time with what little she had left. But throughout all the ordeal she never did loose the smile, heck she had beaten a villian and now got to save people too...guess the day really did turn arou......and after she had gotten the 13th person from the wreckage back to the bus she collapses herself unconcious, having gone past her limits with nothing left to pull herself up once more.

On the far side of the rubble, beyond the sight of Class 1-A, Oni Jiro and Aizawa square off against the three villains, Volcanos, Tensei and Sano, the walking volcano, the martial arts master and the mysterious Teleporter.

"Volcanos! This is... UNFORGIVABLE"

Screamed Oni, thirty feet away from his opponents.

"Unforgivable?" answered the villain in his low, rough voice, chuckling to himself, taking steps towards the teacher.

"Have you gone soft old man?" continues Volcanos, stopping twenty feet short of the two Heros.

"Soft? You killed innocents. ... Just to bait me into a trap... You will pay for this. I will see to it myself" countered the hero, withdrawing his blade in a smooth, practiced motion.

"Perfect! PERFECT! To kill Oni Jiro fighting at full force! What an accomplishment it will be." replies the villain, voice hyper and aggressive as he taps into his quirk, internal temperature rising to the thousands, lava running through crevasses in his rock skin as he bellows a shout into the air.

Looking over to Aizawa, Oni narrows his eyes.

"This one is mine. You take the other two, please."

He says, his voice low, serious, calculating.

"Very well, he's metamorphic anyway, it's not a rational fight for me to take" agrees Eraser Head, who runs to the left of where the Heros stand, squaring off with Sano and Tensei.

"Now for what you have been waiting for Volcano - -

"All talk, let me see you RAGE!!!" demands the villain, cutting off the teacher. Without reply, done with words, Oni Jiro heats his skin to 5000 degrees fareignheit. His blade, North Star, begins to vibrate with heat, yet it does not melt, it's alloy a custom blend of materials designed to withstand the man's formidable ability. As the blade turns a pale white, giving off a considerable glow, the cloth on the handle vaporizes, and the blade begins to sing.

"STYLE ONE, SWAN SONG" Shouts Oni Jiro, steam bellowing from his nose, white flame licking off red skin, massive feet cracking the asphalt as he sprints towards the opponent.

Meanwhile, Aizawa stands off against the two villains. Without words of exchange, Tensei advances towards the teacher, opening with a series of jabs and leg kicks which the veteran hero dodges with relative ease. Dropping back Aizawa counters with a flurry of punches designed to put the man on the defensive, however, none of Aizawas attacks land, and in a twist his openings are exploited, as one of his wider punches gives the martial arts master an opportunity to land a brutal pair of high elbows followed by a punch to the solar plexus and a biting side kick, sending the teacher flying back several feet.

"Martial Arts?" thinks the teacher to himself, standing with a cough as he channels his power. It's effect null on the man
"Quirkless?" thinks Aizawa, readying himself for another round with Tensei, extending his wrappings, narrowing his red eyes.

"Hello!"

Comes a rather chearful voice from behind Aizawa, a hand suddenly on his shoulder he quickly spins and counter strikes, finding nothing but air with his punch.

"One down! Excellent work!" continues the shadow man, now suddenly behind Tensei, the martial arts master cringing at the words.

"You speak too much, silence yourself!" answers the quirkless one, serious and hyper focused on the goal.

The past two weeks for Luka had been an actual hell, all of it gratifying from the terrifying Demon that called himself their teacher. However, all of the physical work and painful PUSHUPS(so many pushups) were starting to pay off as the young boy was starting to get a bit stronger, but they all still had a lot to go. Luka continued to work onto his quirk, doing his best to extend the radius of his liquidation and control of his quirk. However, he couldn't complain. This what he wanted to sign up for, and he was enjoying every single day of it. From studying with others and hanging out with Kazu to running 500 laps with Rosen after annoying him, Luka was happy for all of it. It was so much better here than at home.

When Oni screamed at the class that they would be going on a field trip, Luka was relieved at the hearing of this. His hands were cramped from the amount of extra essays he had to give to his teacher, and Luka was finally ready to take a break from schoolwork. It was also at the Hero Hall of Fame, which was perfect for the Pro-hero nerd. Japan had some of the strongest heroes with only America being the other country to rival them in Hero might.

Luka and Kazu sat next to each other, both respectively listening to their own music as they both sat as far away as possible from Aizawa, the only man capable of instilling fear more potent than Oni can. As half of the class were chanting with Oni, Luka was busy looking at the American News, which only caused him stress. California had been hit with more massive earthquakes, and Luka knew exactly why. He scrolled through, looking for any type of GOOD news, but to no avail. It looked like America was going to be in hot water for a while, especially since the Government was also temporarily shut down. Luka felt guilty but relieved that he left at such a bad time, or did he?

Just as he thought of this innocent moment, the bus pulled around to a disaster. There were several cars piled up on each other, an impassable wall of fire trapping the civilians in the wreck. Of course, Mr. Badass himself didn't even care as he casually walked through the inferno wall, his body speckled in white hot fire as he went to check on the accident. When suddenly-

Luka and Kazu were lucky, but many of the students who weren't wearing headphones were bleeding. Aisawa told the students to stay back, they weren't pros. He was right, but it didn't make Luka any less curious on what the hell just happened. He went around the bus as he checked on the students ears, his eyes peering over the dashboard of the bus as he saw several figures walk toward the bus. Luka's eyes widened as the first one, who went to fight Oni, was the infamous Volcanos himself. Being ranked #5 in Japan and #17 in the world, this guy was no joke. If Oni wasn't here, they would've all been turned into lava. His eyes then peered over to the rest, who weren't any better news. He spotted Scatterbrain, an escaped convict that was known for his excessive and extremely cruel actions. He was sentenced for life after hundreds of suspected murders were finally tied back to the insane pale faced zombie. There was also Octane, another escaped convict. While he wasn't as violent, he was probably even more of a threat as the large man was known for excessive destruction, and excessive explosions. Luka grimaced for a second only to be followed by a leaping Rosen. The young blonde sprinted straight towards what looked like a Demonic Geisha, locking into combat with her as they started to trade blows.

He felt his brand new phone crumble in his pocket, which made Luka even more worried. These guys were here to kill them, and they didn't want anyone else to interfere. The tunnel behind them collapsed, sealing any form of escape that they might have had.

Elizabeth herself flew out of the bus as well, going straight for what seemed to be Scatterbrain. This worried Luka, as he knew what Scatterbrain's quirk was. It was an infamous topic in the fanbase community, but he had no time to respond as they both were already in heated combat.

Kazu himself got out of the bus, with Luka making sure that anyone who was injured from the blast had been tended. As Luka got out of the bus after checking, his eyes flew open. This was all really happening. Elizabeth was bleeding from several places, but she was able to get a gnarly bite on the psychotic murderer. Rosen was a bit beat up, but it looked like the Geisha he was fighting was banged up as well. Jean was also banged up, but the same and definitely more could be said for her nimble opponent. Kinkaku quickly fled from the terrifying scene only to be followed by one of the villains. He heard another explosion from his right, and he looked down as the convict Octane was walking toward Kazu, who just got back up from what Luka assumed to be the explosions. His stomach felt like it was on fire, his anxiety flaring up as he clenched his fists. What was Luka supposed to do? He wanted to help everyone, but he knew that he had to make a choice, and fast.

Before Luka did anything else, he quickly slammed his hands down, liquifying and destorying any entrances that any other villain could possibly use. He remembered Jean advised him to do it, which was smart. Who knew if these were the only villains that would show up.

Out of the corner of the young students eye, he noticed the girl who destroyed the tunnel was creeping up behind the injured Rosen. He saw her quirk in action when she made the tunnel collapse. Did that mean uer quirk used vibrations? Luka quicky understood how dire of a situation Rosen was suddenly in as Luka slammed his hands on the ground as hard as he could. He felt his left middle finger "snap!" As he activated his quirk, and a tidal wave of liquid earth fired off straight at the young lady. She looked over behind her, smirking as she slammed her hands on the ground as well. Suddenly, the tidal started to violently shake as it exploded. Luka pursed his lips, but he still needed to drag the threat away from Rosen. The girl was surprised as she felt herself sink into the ground, and with a wave of his hand, Luka surfed away the vibration lady and himself farther down the road and now near Scatterbrain and Elizabeth.

The young woman smirked as she started to walk toward Luka, using her quirk to escape from her sinkhole.
"My my, I didn't know you student's would have so much kick! Thank God, cuz it has been pretty boring in my life." Luka smirked.
"Oh yeah, killing students sounds like such an exciting pass time. Sorry I had to ruin your fu-" Luka spoke too much as Quake wasted no time. Luka felt the ground under him give way a bit as the vibrations tore through the earth. Luka could only tighten himself as he fell off his feet. The villain slammed right into Luka, a dropkick pushing the air straight out of his lungs. Luka stumbled as he tried to get up, but a boot to his chest denied him as he was kept on the ground.
"Tsk tsk tsk. You saved your classmate, but what now? Well I'll tell you. I'm gonna kill you, and then I'm gonna kill the same blonde you tried to protect. And then I'll repeat the process to your other mates."
"I won't le-" Luka was quicky silenced as he felt powerful vibrations reverbate throughout his body. A guttural yell came out of the lanky boy as he felt his entire body shake uncontrollably. Quake gave it a moment before finally taking her boot off Luka's chest, a cruel and relentless grin painted on her face.

Quake looked around in her new surroundings, seeing her fellow comrade Scatterbrain getting mangled by a wolf.
"Guess I can help that idiot out. Wish I got a student who had that much "bite." Hahahaha, ugh I crack myself up." Suddenly, the ground under her shifted. She felt herself fall into the ground as the ground transformed into a liquid-like state. A scream lifted out of the girls mouth before she was sucked straight into the ground. A moment passed as the ground exploded, a drenched Quake gasping for air as Luka met her gaze, the young student sitting up against a tree. He breathed in heavily, blood streaming down from his mouth and nose, his ears now also bleeding, but not because of the bus explosion.

TO EVERYONE ELSE (PEOPLE WHO AREN'T FIGHTING VILLAINS CURRENTLY)

As the chaos was going around, no one would've probably noticed that someone was sitting on the roof of the bus, watching the scene unfold in front of him. The figure started to stand up as more and more students streamed out of the bus, going into conflict with the many villains that surrounded the bus. And Reggie was one of them. The young dude sighed as he analyzed the situations that were going on before shaking his hands. He pointed both of his hands down towards the bus, both of his pointer fingers extended as if they were gun barrels. Reggie quickly moved his thumbs up and down mimicking a gun as his quirk activated, and invisible bullets started to rip through the bus, seeing if he could gun down any unluckies who were still in the bus.

Teachers: Absent.

Classmates: Panicking.

Costumed Strangers: Probably evil.

I sleep for ten minutes and get forcibly woken up by a sonic fucking boom to find that everything is on fire.

Seth had no idea what the hell was going on, but his adrenaline levels were off the charts and his heart rate was probably double its normal speed. His headphones slid off as he tried to get a look at what was going on, which made things infinitely worse. Some of the other students left the relative safety of the bus to challenge the villains, but Seth was in full panic mode and was trying to not die by forgetting to breathe.

A few impacts rocked the vehicle from all of the fighting, and Seth decided it wasn't the place to be. He flipped open the fire exit and bounded out, the cloak of his costume rippling behind him like smoke. Remember, Seth, he reassured himself. You're indestructible as long as you can activate your quirk in time.

Not reassuring enough. He ducked behind a chunk of rubble, panting. Maybe they'll mistake me for one of their own? Less lethal, but still bad. He remembered the story about the bug-controlling vigilante who ended up robbing a bank because she took the act too far.

Before Seth could think of anything else, a disembodied hand covered his mouth. Or would've if he had a normal-shaped mouth and not a ghastly skeletal maw. Seth bit down, hard enough that he was pretty sure he drew blood until a second hand closed around his throat.

Seth instinctively activated his quirk, the skeleton pattern on his spandex costume being replaced with an actual human skeleton. He popped his head off and used his arms to bash it into his assailant, but struck air. It took some finesse to stop himself from driving it into the pavement.

Whoever grabbed Seth was gone. He stood up, but didn't find any villains that were in a position to have attacked him out of the blue like that. Most were a good distance away, engaging with some of his classmates. The only thing on Seth's end of the tunnel was a whole lot of rubble. He turned off his quirk to conserve energy, but didn't know where to go from there.

Once again, Seth was attacked from behind. The attacker grabbed him from under his cloak somehow, performing a complicated maneuver to try to pin Seth to the ground, but he activated his quirk once more and spun his head 180 degrees, detaching his arms for a head-butt, which actually connected.

The attacker recoiled, and Seth finally managed to get a good look at them. All-black bodysuit, glowing blue eyes. That was basically it. Seth's arms jumped to his sides, and he spun on his heel in a manner that would let him keep his eyes on his target. Seth lunged at them, but the lights overhead flickered for a moment and they flash-stepped to his side for a counterattack.

Is that their schtick? Seth thought, as the villain kicked him a few feet. Darkness? It explained the cloak thing. Seth shouted towards the bus, "HEY, CLAIRE! I NEED LIGHT!"

Without giving Kazu time to think, Octane opens his assault, sprinting forward at full speed, closing the gap between the two, firing explosives at rapid pace, driving back Kazuhiko with successive strikes designed to weaken and wear down the boy.

Despite his reasonable, "Oni Jiro training program" speed, the Kinetic Controller remains static. Relying on the absorbtion of damage for offense, confident in his ability to tank Octanes attacks with his quirk fully activated and completely focused on absorbtion.

However, even with most of the incoming energy going to reserves, the overwhelming amount of attacks do their job over time, tearing into Kazuhikos body and his defensively positioned forearms, causing the student to scream in pain and in anger with each wave of strikes.

"This guy can turn objects into explosives, shit that's a strong quirk" thinks the boy, teeth compressed as several more explosions fly into his forearms, used to shield his head and face, this time the skin tearing, sending a fine mist of blood into the air.

"Forty percent charge... I can work with this but - - thinks Kazu, his thoughts cut short by a larger projectile, fired as a follow up designed to be a finisher, this one a rock about the size of a tennis ball.

Tossed back another fifteen feet by the explosion, Kazuhiko stares up at the roof of the tunnel, ears ringing, head pounding, vision tunneling.

"Presumptions are the foundation of mistakes" he thinks to himself, echoing Octanes words... Thinking, bitterly, that the man was correct. Regretting his decision to tank the attacks, regretting his foolish belief that Octane would stick to small scale projectiles.

Blood seeping from his arms, Kazuhiko thinks back on his past, on his goal to surpass his father, on his family, on his few, but close friends and on his pride as a UA student, focusing on any thread of motivation he can take hold of, building up the willpower to rise, and to fight back.

"As if I can die in a place like this" thinks Kazuhiko, capping off his trip down memory lane, the sentence bitter and forceful as he gathers slowly, smoldering and beaten.

Hands shaking, nerves screaming, heart pounding with adrenaline, determination and fear, Kazuhiko smiles sickly through the pain, looking back at Octane like one possessed by a demon, his mind no longer working on a rational level.

"Presumptions are the foundation of mistake, your words..." he states, words twisted with wild energy.

"Exactly" replies Octane, stern, reaching into his pocket for another cluster of rocks.

"I have news for you then" counters the boy, swaying.

"Hmmm?" murmers Octane, confused.

"Eighty percent, eighty, that's got to do it, it has to" thinks Kaz through the haze, channeling energy to his legs preparing his body for a finishing blow.

"You presume that I didn't want your attacks to hit!" spits Kazuhiko, springing forward at incredible speed, catching a wide eyed Octane off guard. As he nears the villain, who twists to dodge, Kazuhiko channels energy into his hand, overloading the muscle cells the right side of his body, over expanding their reserve tanks, going all in on one, final, and brutal attack.

"PARTIAL OVERDRIVE, TEMPEST GALE" yells the boy, body screaming with exertion as he swings his right arm with imperceptible speed, slamming his fist against Octanes chest , sending the villain back almost fifty feet, his center of mass leading four trailing limbs, ragdolled body slamming into a guardrail, metal bending to fit the shape of the villains body.

Coming to a rest, with only a quarter of his previous charge, Kazuhiko kneels down, taking inventory of his injuries. Severe burns on arms, likely fractures, cracked ribs, severe hemeroging under the skin.... recovery would take weeks normally.

"Thank God for recovery girl" thinks Kazuhiko, looking up with a deadening smile towards an... approaching.... Octane!

Blood dripping from his nose and mouth, his stride awkward and weak, the villain walks slowly to where Kazu kneels. The look in his eyes murderous, savage and ruthless.

"How! How after that attack! Shit shit shit my right side, my right side won't work for another minute!"

"A strong - -

Begins the villain, coughing blood, kneeling for a moment before rising again.

"A strong attack, but you underestimate my strength by targeting my center mass. Had you struck me in the head, you may have killed me. Take solace child, I awknowledge you, and will honor you with a swift death" he monologues, another tennis ball sized rock in his hand.

In her peripheral vision, Reiko could see Kazu running towards her. Unfortunately, just as she let out a sigh of relief - thank goodness, she wasn't going to have this thing alone - only to have him blasted away by some sort of explosion. 'Shit,' she muttered to herself, 'there goes my help.' Trying to keep an eye on the robot man, Reiko quickly glanced backwards, only to see the metal person firing up a large gun. He certainly didn't look friendly.

"Shit!" She yelled, running as quickly as her legs would take her. The nearest cover seemed to be the car that had been thrown at her only moments before, so Reiko ducked behind it and prayed that the bullet, or energy, or whatever that came out of a gun the size of her body was, wouldn't hit her.

Luck seemed to be on Reiko's side for now; 'First a car, and now this! Who are these people?!' Only a few feet away from her was a large, semi-circular hole, around 8 inches in diameter. 'Let's try and avoid that.' Hearing the sound from before set a fire under the girl, and she quickly ran out from behind the car. Only a quick glance behind her proved that the car had, once again, ignited into flames. 'Now, what would protect me from an energy gun?'

The boulder-sized debris from the collapsing tunnel seemed like a good bet. Reiko ducked behind the rocks, and gave herself a second to catch her breath. 'What am I going to do? I'm totally dead!' her brain shrieked.

Thinking back on the material she had learned over the past few weeks proved futile. So far, her only battle-strategy was to yell at the enemy to do laps, or push-ups, if she was in a particuarly bad mood, until they complied. Reiko guessed that this tidbit of information had come from the one and only Oni Jiro, her homeroom teacher. She was so lost in contemplation that the black-haired girl didn't hear the soft footsteps creeping up behind her. As she looked up, Reiko was quickly turned face to face with an animatronic gun-slinger. Screaming loudly in surprise, Reiko turned to bolt once more. This seemed to becoming a more and more common occurrence.

Just then, an idea lit up in Reiko's head. The entire time, she had been focused on beating the villain, when she really should be trying to escape. As she ran, Reiko hastily threw together a plan. It was shabby, but it was also her best shot at survival.

It had been two weeks since her first day at UA, and she had already settled into the daily routine.
Oni Jiro's liberal use of using harsh, physical exercise as a means of training, educating, and punishing the class didn't really bother her, as she was already on a rather strict regime before she even started going to UA, and if Jiro hadn't been forcing her to do it, she would have likely chosen to do it by herself anyways.
Struggling during tests was also something she was used to, and after realizing that 500 laps had little impact on the insectoid girl, Jiro began to get creative with his punishments. (Usually by making her study for the test while simultaneously doing 500 laps.)
What truly bothered her however, was that she'd still had yet to see her sister, and all of her attempts to reach her only reaching dead ends. Strangely enough, some even laughed at her when she told them about her relationship to Inoue.
She still wasn't sure what they found so funny.
Today, however, was something that was a break from routine, a field trip to a place that both her and her sister had dreamt of going to since they were children; The Hero Hall of Fame.
The class enjoyed a merry bus ride together, Akiyama, singing along to Jiro's chants, completely oblivious of the effect they had on the bus driver's mental state.
The thick smell of smoke and gasoline began to funnel in from outside of the bus, emanating from a disastrous accident down the road.
The singing suddenly stopped, replaced with a dreadful silence, as Jiro and Aizawa both left the bus to investigate the scene, and then, a devastating crash, as every window on the bus simultaneously exploded, showering Akiyama in glass, and throwing her to the ground.

She awoke a few seconds later on the floor, a harsh ringing in her ears, along with a painful headache.
Cautiously, Akiyama got back on her feet, only for the entire world to suddenly lurch to the side, sending her reeling forward in a dazed, drunken stupor, catching herself on the back of a bus seat before she could fall back onto the glass-laden ground.
Eventually, the world stopped swimming, and after cupping her ear with her hand, and having it come back wet and red with her own blood, she was able to confirm her suspicions; her right eardrum had burst, damaging the small, sensitive balance-controlling organs that lied within.
She'd also lost the ability to see out of her upper right eye.
She had a hunch as to why that was, but she was far too afraid of what she might see to find a mirror and check.

She wouldn't of had the time to anyway, if the small hole that had just appeared in the rooftop behind her was any indication.
Or the one just after that, just an inch closer to her position, or the next one, or the next one, all appearing with a loud, audible thunk, as if the bus was in the center of a hailstorm, and they were only getting closer as Akiyama turned tail to run.
With each step she took, the holes only began to get closer and closer. By the time she took her fourth step, a harsh breeze whizzed by her ankle, warning her that the fifth would be her last.
Luckily, her remaining bug eye caught the perfect means of escape; the emergency escape hatch on the bus's roof, blown open by the earlier blast.
Shutting her eyes tight, Akiyama extended her clawed arm, hooking it onto the hatch's rim, and forcefully pulled her entire body up, slamming her body into the hatch's edge, and clambering onto the top of the bus on her hands and knees, just as a multitude of holes ventilated the spot where she had once been.

Now not in immediate danger, Akiyama, flipped over onto her back, glad to take the opportunity to catch her breath.
However, when she opened her eyes, standing before her was a very dour-looking, bespectacled man, his hands at his sides, with his index fingers extended like the barrels of a gun.
The man's expression was grim, stately, and only showing the barest hint of surprise as he stared down the small girl that had escaped his death trap.
"A shame..." He sighed, raising his hand, and pointing his finger directly at Akiyama.
"It would have been less painful for you if you had just stayed down there."
With finality, the man takes aim, and fires, sending an invisible bullet hurtling towards the girl's chest.
Although she couldn't see the small pocket of death headed her way, she was all too aware that if she stayed where she was, it would mean her end.
She willed her fear-frozen body to move, and move it did; her right leg kicking off of the bus surface, sending her flying backwards, the bullet that had meant to buried in her heart only managing to graze her shoe.
In mid-air, she readjusts her position, landing with her feet spread apart with her right in front of her left.
She lowers her stance, making her already compact body, look even smaller.
She holds her tightly clenched fists just beneath her eyes, and her two claws fold together, resting in front of her face as if they were held together in prayer.

"I can't hit you from down there." Akiyama retorts, a silent, burning passion glowering within her usual stone-faced expression, as she stared down her opponent from behind the veil of her fists.

The villain's only response is to scoff, and then silently take a stance of his own.

Rosen stared, still locked into another staring contest as his opponent began to remove kunai from her purse. He had to be ready to dodge again if he wanted to live past this encounter, watching as she seemed to be waiting for something, a grin on her face. He realized she started to glance behind him and against his better judgement, his gaze turned as he moved his head slightly to look behind him. Spotting the familiar sludge and shake of the earth as he watched his classmate flood away with another villain. As he thought about how he had to thank him for that some time, He felt a shooting pain jolt up from his chest, letting out a pained cry he turned back to the woman, moving just enough so the next blade embedded in his left shoulder. He started moving, running around her trying to watch the blades now as his left arm was almost completely limp, he could barely move it even with his ability to numb the pain and stop the bleeding. She must have hit a tendon or something... he wasn't sure of the medical terms, but they were both down an arm now.

As he ran he gripped the blade in his chest with his right hand, pulling out the kunai, at least now he had a weapon too. Powering his legs he jolted toward her, he had to move faster than she could move to dodge, that was probably the key. He couldn't disappoint Luka now after the kid risked his own life to save him from having to take on two villains at once. He had to end this and go to his friends aid to repay him.

Gripping the blade he jumped to try and kick the Geisha woman in the head, her dodging as per usual while he tried to stab downward with the blade in his right hand, slipping right past his target, he tossed the blade down and managed to strike her foot. Allowing himself to grin in accomplishment, he had to at least feel a little proud of himself in this fight. As he looked down and fell back to his feet however he noticed the blade she had pushed straight into his stomach, some blood trickling down before he could stop the bleeding. He let out a cough as blood splattered out of his mouth and onto the ground, "You're just providing me with more weapons.." He muttered as he removed the blade with a wince, feeling it numb, the wound was larger than he was used to, the blood wouldn't stop completely. As he fought against his own consciousness he couldn't let himself lose here. He was supposed to be a hero, heroes wouldn't die so easily. His teacher was going to busting down through all that rubble any second now and lecture everyone who was too weak to stay on their feet here. Then punish him for engaging this villain bitch and he'd be at school running laps again sooner than he could say 500 laps.

Kazuhiko post.

"Hey... Hey now... there's no need to go that far man, cmon?" pleads the boy, voice wobbling with fear, intentionally desperate, the intent to stall, to slow his enemy, anything to generate a few extra seconds.

"Have self respect, die with honor" replies the villain as he closes in, imbuing his weapon with explosive energy, eyes locked on the rock, struggling to use his quirk due to injury, his teeth gritting in pain, desperate in his own right to finish the engagement.

"Which pocket, shit shit which one did I put them in!" thinks Kazu hyperagitated, trying to remember the contents of his pockets, to figure out which side he'd have to conceal for his sleight of hand to work.

"LEFT" he concludes, guessing with irrational confidence as he falls over, taking a dive to sell his wounds, digging into the left pocket of his pants with his smothered arm, hiding his actions from the approaching man with the mass of his body. In the face of such a surrender, the villain grimmaces, almost disappointed before speaking...

"I was hoping you'd have more fight than this" he says, joyless, exaggerating his own will to fight as he comes to a halt, tightly gripping his weapon, preparing to throw.

With Octane readying, his life precariously positioned on a tightrope, the boy widens his eyes in extatic joy, his guess correct, hand gripping three steel marbles; his ammunition. Unused previously because of his defensive strategy, they would serve as a last ditch defense, as a surprise attack, and as his last effort.

"I've never been good with my left" thinks the teenager with a pained chuckle, pushing himself back into a kneel with his left hand, now balled into a tight fist. With the villain winding up, like a MLB pitcher, Kazuhiko channels his charge into the marbles, closing his eyes, exhalation zenlike, before snapping back to reality with starlike fire in his eyes, a scream on his lips, firing the marbles at the incoming projectile.

Two miss, going past the explosive, but one stays true, hitting the rock as it flies through the air.

BOOM!

A shockwave rushes out from the blast, slamming into Octane and Kazuhiko, the space between them erupting in an explosion. As it approaches the student he turns his left side absorbing much of the blast with his quirk, taking a ribbing but nothing dangerous...

Octane, however, flies backwards again, engulfed in smoke.

"Losing.... Losing to a kid.... Pathetic" thinks the villain as his body connects with the asphalt, eyes rolling to the back of his head, mind shutting down as his consciousness fades, knocked out from damage sustained.

Now safe(er) the boy lays back on the pavement, looking around at his fellow students, heart beating with anxiety.

Jean unconscious by the bus, her opponent defeated.

"Thank God"

Rosen sustaining stab wounds, from the demon. Both damaged but fighting on.

"Lose to her and I'll never let it go"

Luka taking damage, bleeding from his mouth and nose. His opponent with the upper hand.

"LUKA! No! That looks bad... Really bad."

Reiko running from some nightmarish human machine hybrid.

"You can do it Rei"

Elizabeth still fighting Scatterbrain. He taking more damage than her.

"Beat his ass Liz"

Seth fighting a human shadow.

"You can take that idiot Seth...."

Akiyama fighting the mime.

"He looks strong.... Be.... Careful"

Thinks Kazuhiko, fading into unconsciousness, adrenaline receeding. His section of the battlefield now clear, some of the students in 1-A with less combat apt talents, who have taken a support role, drag the boy back to the side of the bus where he lay, severely battered, broken arms bloody, skinned and burned, ribs cracked, skin bruised in spots from head to toe, breath shallow.

Oni Jiro/Aizawa post + plot advancement post.

The white blade archs high, falling downward to Volcanos as hammer falls to anvil, a streak of light all that's visible to the untrained eye. To the villain though, the attack is standard, and it hitting its mark on his shoulder is by design.

"A blade? Against me?" asks the ex-hero, face cracking a smile, amused, the sword buried in the rock skin of the villain, the damage caused by the hit negligible at best. After all, his body was made of rock, bodily fluids replaced by lava, hardly a build susceptible to cutting techniques.

"STYLE TWO, WHITE REED" yells the teacher, ignoring the taunt, channeling his heat in a more aggressive manner, shaking the blade violently, the sword biting deep into the villain who shouts with surprise, jumping backwards, his right shoulder leaking lava.

"Tskk.... A cheap tactic" spits the enemy, rotating his shoulder a few times with a grimace, before launching a counter attack, placing his hands on the ground, the earth erupting with lava, spewing molten rock towards the teacher. However, with Onis quirk, such attacks only hurt on a blunt level, and because of this, with each incoming attack the red skinned man reacts by punching and slashing away the debris despite their great heat, causing Volcanos to give up the style of attack, opting to run in at a still dodging Oni Jiro, his hands low, streaking flame, bringing a fist upward towards the hero who reacts at the final moment, a fist of his own shooting towards Volcanos.

Strikes meeting in the middle, a Shockwave emits from the duo, followed by another and another, the asphalt literally melting beneath the feat of the two as they swing away, neither able to beat the other with their quirk alone.

Turning his blade forward for a lunge, Oni Jiro steps into an attack, causing the villain to sidestep to the left into a particularly hot section of the battlefield, the ground pock-marked with lava and melted road.

"Perfect" say the teacher with a smile, pivoting his foot, bringing his blade downward, piercing the ground. With both hands on the hilt he builds power, sending heat through the ground, vibrating the earth violently as it literally falls into itself, it's composition a superheated, uncontrolled mirror of Urban Ocean.

Despite being unharmed by the heat, the villain still falls into the churning pit, tossed about, beaten, damaged and discombobulated before finding purchase at the edge, pulling himself up.

"Enough of this...."

"I will find the limit of your resistance"

"Even if I must extinguish myself"

States Volcanos, his rock skin heating to a rediculous degree as his body enters stage two, his ultimate ability.

The two begin sprinting in at each other, on course for a titanic clash...

"Stop"

The word echoes across the battlefield, and it works leaving everyone motionless and silent. Like a console command in a video game, everyone on the battlefield stops moving, everyone but Sano and Tensei.

"Your quirk finally charged! About time!" states the Teleporter, vanishing before re-appearing next to Aizawa, placing a hand on the teachers shoulder, tipping his hat to the man responsible for the stoppage.

"Tensei is correct, you speak too much." says the unknown man, walking from the shadows, right hand extended, twitching, sending Volcanos to the pile of rubble against his will.

"My fight..... Isn't.... Done" struggles the human volcano, battling against the control.

"It will continue eventually, fear not. For now, destroy the rubble."

Commands the right hand of Hive, and in an odd show, Volcanos complies without struggle, the light in his eyes deadening, mood obedient as he places his hands on the rubble, melting away the rock, opening a passageway over the top as the mound sinks into a pool of lava.

Extending his right hand Unknown says the magic word once more, this time looking over the students and the other villains, still engaged in combat.

"Stop" and the battlefield complies. The villains, many desiring to finish the fight, battle against the control, but retreat none the less, dragging their wounded comrades back across battle lines, retrieving all but Dart who remains in captivity.

"What... What is... This power.... This Quirk?" asks Oni Jiro, taking pained steps forward, fighting against the power of the Unknown one.

"Impressive, for one to take one step under my influence is interesting enough, but three" murmers the villain, his hand begining to cramp with strain.

"Retreat" he says, simply. After a pause, their mission a success.

And with that Sano vanishes, bringing Aizawa with him before returning without him, causing Oni Jiro to scream in anger and despair, comrade kidnapped, his body paralyzed, unable to fight, and despite the struggle of the teacher and students, by the time any could take steps, Sano had teleported the remaining villains from the tunnel, leaving only the students, Oni Jiro and several surviving civilians behind.

Stay tuned for a time skip post. I need a break lol.

He's just outside of my range...If I could just move forward one more meter...! Akiyama thought to herself, as she analyzed her assailant with her three remaining eyes.
He was slim, dressed in a formal, purple suit, and wore a pair of spectacles over eyes that seemed far too calm, given the situation.
He had yet to make any sign of a move, still as a statue, a stark contrast to her own body, which had already begun to shudder in anticipation.

The moment he attacks...that's when I'll charge. Just have to wait...
---
What a bother...I'll just have to put her away quickly, and then I'll finish off the rest of them... The villain nonchalantly thought to himself, studying his target through calm, bespectacled eyes.
She was young, obviously a first year.

Her body was shaking like a leaf, although her pair of lower eyes didn't show any sign of fear. The upper pair, for the most part, didn't either; one bug eye bored into him with the same amount of animosity as her normal eyes did. The seemed to be glassed over, it's surface almost completely opaque, unable to focus on anything.
If the trickle of blood coming out of the girl's ear was any indication; it was but another casualty of Quake's earlier attack.
She was like a helpless bug; fruitlessly trying to fight back against a much larger predator.
It almost tugged at Reggie's heartstrings to kill her.
Almost.

---
A heavy silence descended between the two, the tension reaching a fever pitch.
Reggie was the first to break the stalemate, twisting his left arm outward, and firing a deadly volley of invisible bullets from his left hand.
Akiyama's preparation and training had paid off, however; her eyes noticed the movement in the assassin's muscles as he took aim, and her upper body instinctively reacted, rolling to the right just as the bullets whizzed just an inch away from her ear.
In the same motion, her lower body took a brave step forward.
Two more feet... She silently noted, her eyes calculating the distance between herself and her enemy.
The man fired again, unleashing a trio of shots from the fingertips of his right hand.
They hit nothing but air as Akiyama's body veered to the left, her legs moving her just one foot closer.

Almost there...
He was already preparing to fire again, his left arm already recovering from the recoil of his first shot.
You won't be able to dodge at this range. Reggie thought, as he held his hand level with Akiyama's head.
He hardened his stoic face, and pulled the imaginary trigger that he held in his hand.
Only for it to be abruptly swatted away, as Akiyama's left claw lunged out, piercing through his wrist.
Pivoting on her right foot, leg still outstretched from the extra step-in she had taken to get within range, Akiyama twisted her body, and followed up with a vicious right straight, which connected cleanly with the villain's teeth, knocking off the stoic mask that he wore, and sending him reeling backward.
Placing a hand over his mouth to staunch the flow of blood that flooded his tongue, Reggie looked up at his attacker just in time to see her left arm wind up to deliver a finishing hook, which he just barely dodged by throwing himself off of the bus.

His shoulder struck the ground first, though he'd managed to avoid the brunt of the impact by tucking in his body, and rolling his body.
When he raised his head, he was greeted with the sight of his attacker lunging from the top of the bus, claw raised above her head to deliver another, debilitating strike.
Desperately, he threw up his arm, and from the recesses of his mind, willed a thick, reliable shield to come forth.
Akiyama's claw dove downwards, her full body weight behind it, only for it to be blocked by a solid wall of air, followed by her body, which landed upon the invisible shield.
She hurriedly kicked off of the invisible shell, returning to her boxing stance once she landed.
S-So aggressive! Reggie thought, hurriedly rising to his feet.
The girl had already taken the offensive again, rushing towards him with vicious, whole-bodied swings of her claws, which Reggie just barely managed to divert with the help of his invisible shield, his previously emotionless face now contorted with desperation.
As his defense was helplessly battered, Reggie thought to himself, J-Just stay calm, eventually she'll give you an opening...
And eventually, one came.
She'd been whaling on the man for what felt like hours, the fatigue was just as obvious on her as it was on the man who helplessly stood back and cowered before her assault behind an invisible shield.
Hit him. was the only thought running through her mind.
He can't take much more, just a few more swings and his shell will crack!
Finally, with one final swing, the villain's arm was thrown to the side, his imaginary shield sundered under the force of her swing.

But then suddenly, the painful ringing in her ear returned, and the world seemed to toss and turn again, causing Akiyama to lose her balance, and stumble away in a pained daze.
She had just enough time to process what had happened; the damage in her ear had caught up to her, and now she was helpless to do anything, but stand still, and try not to fall over.
She had enough time to see the villain in front of her raise his hand, finger outstretched, aimed at her head.
And, she had enough time to smell something...
...sweet?

---
He had just enough time to process the giant, prismatic crystal that had miraculously appeared before him, and the purple-haired girl standing outside of the school bus, one hand outstretched as the other nursed her bleeding ear.
And, he had just enough time to process Akiyama's long, green arm flying out from behind the cloud of crystalline dust, just before it drilled right into his vulnerable liver.

The pain was immediate, knocking all sense from his mind, and lifting his feet clean off of the ground.
His knees returned to the earth a moment later, as he landed in a doubled-over ball of pain, one hand propping his body up, and the other clutching the hole in his side, a new, fresh taste of iron flooding his mouth.
Dammit! I can't believe I would get so careless! He cursed to himself, his face contorted in pain as he glared into the face of the exhausted child that stood over him.

He shakily attempted to rise to his feet, an uncharacteristic hatred burning in his eyes.
Akiyama replied in kind, raising her heavy, protesting arms back into position.
But then, her body suddenly stopped responding to her.
Another man, clad in black, suddenly appeared, and just as suddenly, he vanished, taking the villain she had been fighting with him, leaving her all alone in the street.

Eventually, the paralysis faded, finally allowing Akiyama to fall onto her butt in exhaustion, and breathe a heavy sigh of relief.
I-It's finally over? She murmured to herself, feeling more exhausted than she'd ever felt in her life.
