"I'm sure she's pretty lonely wherever she is anyway," she said softly, looking around. "Probably still wakes up and walks into the spare room to open up the curtains out of habit."

"So you do miss working as a maid huh" glancing over to her

"Not particularly," she said with a shake of her head, turning to face him. Her eyes looked a little watery. "But I do miss doing stupid things for someone besides me."

He would take her hand as it was on the balcony "it's been a while Nadine" he would smile to her

She smiled weakly. "I was worried you'd forgotten about me, you big dummy...." she wiped at her eyes.

"Like I'd forget about you" he would hug her to comfort her "you were the highlight of my life, though I didn't want to force you to stay behind for my selfish reasons"

She blushed lightly. "I know... it still hurt a little that you never came after me..."

 

[WereFolf]

He would loosen a bit as he looked to her "as much as I wanted to... it would have only caused more harm for your life... people would have never truly seen what an amazing person you are, and now look at you, still beautiful and now living that dream job"

She nodded slowly. "It's not as much of a dream. I'm still lonely."

 

[WereFolf]

"Well, we still have a long night, plus, now we can be together without anyone saying anything bad about it, but why did you rename yourself Renee?"

 

[No More Pretending]

"Everyone knew about Nadine. I couldn't get a different job as Nadine."

 

[WereFolf]

"Well then, what you prefer me to call you then?"

 

[No More Pretending]

"I want you to call me Nadine," she said. "I want the name back eventually."

 

[WereFolf]

"Well then Nadine" he would kneel holding his palm to her "shall we return to the dance then?" He would smile warmly at her

"Are you sure you want to?" She asked.

 

[WereFolf]

"Personally, no I suppose, I'm not into all this formal stuff" he would think "why don't we sneak off from this party then?"

 

[No More Pretending]

She gave a glance at the party. "There's next year, I suppose..." she said quietly before looking at him. "Yes. If that's what's you'd like."

Travis would chuckle "hey, I'm not one to tell you what to do anymore, we are equals now" he would smile to her

"I'd like one more dance before we go."

 

[WereFolf]

"Alright then, let's go for a dance and I'll say to father this that we're going for a walk in the gardens, that way he'll leave us be"

She nodded. "That sounds perfect."

 

[WereFolf]

He would hold his palm out for her "then shall we dance? I believe the next song is about to start"

 

[No More Pretending]

She smiled and took his hand. This was all a dream come true. "I'd love to."

He would take her hand gently as he took her to the dance floor as the music began once again as he danced with her

She stepped close and moved with him as gracefully as she could manage.
