This sounds really neat! May I still join? I'd love to RP some kind of J-pop character (not very good at English, out of place, and a little misunderstood), but if you'd consider that a sub-genre, I could also try to come up with something for jazz. Tell me what you think?

Okay, I will give international a try! I'll definitely make sure my character isn't too similar to the one for pop music.
Name: Aiko ("Ai-chan")
Age: 14

Music Genre: International
Appearance: Aiko is very small for her age. She is very pale, with a round face and childlike features, including large dark eyes and a small upturned nose. Her hair is dark, straight, and shoulder-length; she wears it in two braids and keeps her bangs trimmed short. Aiko loves bright colours and frills, and is usually seen in cute dresses and sunhats. She has a soprano voice and speaks with a mild accent.
Personality: Aiko is a sweet and cheerful kind of girl who smiles a lot. She's a little timid, and this is accentuated by the fact that her English is not yet fluent. She has a very difficult time speaking her mind; she is constantly dropping hints and then wondering why people don't pick up on them. Similarly, she almost always reads too much into others' actions. She worries a lot about others not liking her. Aiko herself tries to like everyone, but this just results in her being annoyed a lot of the time. She's a little spoiled, and hates being treated as a child. She sometimes wishes she looked more like the other students, because she feels that people define her by her culture rather than her personality.
Other: Aiko has been playing the piano since age four, although more as a hobby than seriously. She also loves to dance. Her favourite food is strawberry cake and she has a pink toy rabbit named Momo, which she carries everywhere. She speaks to Momo instead of other people when she's feeling particularly shy.
