"Yeah what is it?" She asked
"Say hypothetically... That I really liked someone. And I think they liked me back... But... Thing is every time I get into some kind of relationship with someone they get hurt, or they die, or... It just ends badly."

"I say take a chance. You can't be scared to be with someone." She answered.

"I know but... Canna I'm going to be straight with you. I've had a lot of girls that I really like. Half of them are dead and the other half either turned evil, gave up, or something else..." Peter said. "If I screw up again I'm... Not sure I'll handle it well."

"Hmm I see why you are afraid. " she drinks her beer

When Sage awoke the next morning Peter wouldn't be there. And upon arrival to the guild Erza informed her that Peter had gone on a solo mission. Something about "clearing his head."
" oh OK" sage said. " well guess I'll help rebuild the guild"

Peter went paid the man who took him to the area of his job in Isenberg. Apparently there was a horrible outbreak in a village nearby and they had sent a request to the guilds to find the cause.

Sage just helped her guildmates rebuild the guild

Peter walked into the small village. Off to the side was a beaten down sign that said

Welcome to Icefall.

However Directly under the sign were crudely painted words that read. "Stay out."

Peter considered the sign for a moment before walking into the town. He looked around. The town looked as though it was once a very nice place to be. Snowmen littered the area with smiles on their faces. This was place was cold enough year round that they probably never really melted. There were plenty of trees and and shops though almost all of them were closed. The only places that Peter was able to enter was the inn and the local clinic. He decided that probably the best thing he could do was see how bad the infection was.

He went to the Clinic and knocked on the door. He couldn't see them but he could hear someone on the other side probably looking through the peephole on the door. "Who are you? What are you doing here?" A high pitched elderly voice asked.

"Uh... I'm from the Fairy Tail guild. I'm here about the job." He said. He lifted his sleeve showing the guild emblem on his his shoulder. He heard shuffling from the other side. He heard several locks click and the door opened revealing a small elderly woman with rectangular eyes and a large hooked nose. "Ah come in. Come in." She said ushering Peter inside.

Peter looked around as he entered practically every bed in the hospital was filled. "This isn't good." He said. "Any idea what their infected with?" He asked.

The Old woman shook her head. "I'm afraid I don't *cough* e-excuse me. I'm also infected." She said covering her mouth. "You should lay down then." Peter said. "I can't I'm the only Doctor in Icefall deary. Well maybe. Depends of you actually." She said.

Peter looked around. "Well I'm not Doctor but I could probably give it a shot." He said. "Give what a shot?" She asked. "In identifying the disease." He said. He figured that having lived with modern medicine he'd know things that the sweet old woman didn't. He walked up to a young man who seemed to be in terrible pain. He checked for a pulse after putting on some gloves for protection. The man had one... barely. He tapped the Spider-Emblem and rather that a suit a pair of sunglasses appeared. He put them on and scanned the man's body.

The man's kidney's had almost completely failed and his body wasn't producing enough white or red blood cells. He scanned the woman. She had the same symptoms though less apparent. But the disease moved quickly. Peter hypothesized that if a cure wasn't administered within 72 hours on infections then the disease would be fatal. Everyone in the room except for maybe the woman was already past that 72 hour grace period. "How many of the villagers are here?" He asked.

"About the third of the whole population." She said.

Peter grimaced not looking at the woman. How would he tell her that one third of her quaint little village was already doomed. He turned to look at her. "I've managed to identify the symptoms and... I'm sorry to say..." Peter trailed off. "There's nothing you can do?" She asked sadly. "Not for these people no." Peter admitted. The hardest part about this job. He can't save everyone.

"I see. Well dear I don't blame you. I wasn't expecting you to be able to save everyone." She sighed. "But I can give the rest of you a chance. I need to know where the disease originated. Do you have like a patient Zero or any information I can use?" He asked.

She looked up. "All any of us knows is that it originated a good deal west of here near a large canyon." She said.

Peter thought about this. "Alright I'll head out first thing after I get something to eat." He said.

(A long response I know. I was thinking maybe I'd give you some info to work with if you decided to make a character here. Sorry if it's too long)
