Zan nods and pays her in several gold coins before leaving.
"Selfish God danmed higher classes. Acting like they're the only ones who've lost anything." He said. He roared into the sky. "What do I do? Huh? I've let down my friends. Again. "SO WHAT DO I DO NOW!?"
Ubus frowned. "The king has Sage."
"Of course he does." Zan said. "Well I've found old portals to the demon realm. The only issue you need a demon to open them. Luckily you have one."
Ubus nods "that's good. Pinto is getting some anger out."
She heard the voice of the devil. "Oh hey don't worry Mr guards. I'll cause no trouble. Just someone here I need to talk to."
, the wizard blasted Sage a few times with his magic. She let out a small scream when she was blasted, the wizard chuckled and left a minute before the devil showed up and the guards let him through. Sage laid on the ground facing the bars of the cell. Her right eye was black and blue.
"Alright. Well Mr. Wizard step closer." He said leaning against the bars. The Wizard would feel compelled to listen.
The wizard listened and did it.
"Tell me Mr. Wizard what do you desire. More than anything in the world?"
"Gold" he answered.
"I have a lot of gold." He pulled out a fistful of gold coins. "Let me take care of the girl and their yours."
The wizard shook his head. "No I can't have you do that"
"Now now. How much gold would it take. I could you set you up for life." Lucifer said. "I know people."
"I have a job to do, you shouldn't be here.." He said ignoring the idea of all gold.
"Well... Okay I tried it the easy way." Lucifer said. "I'm going to go have a chat with a king. Don't worry sage you'll be out lickity split.
" you..can't change his mind..." Sage said.
"Honey... I'm the devil changing minds I'd what I do." Lucifer said. "Besides if that doesn't work I could always break you out."
"Why are you helping me" she asked.
"Well... I'll be honest. I don't know. Don't quite understand it myself." He said. "But I'll find out." He went to find the king using his devilish powers of persuasion to get past gaurds and night until he was in the room with the king and his nephew.
The nephew and the king were arguing. The nephew was the young man ubus and Pinto saw earlier. "This is wrong you need to let her go" the king shook his head. "No because of her, your parents are dead and so I my wife and son. Someone has to pay. The people I've hired are going to make her pay. She can't escape anymore"
"Oh I quite like this younger chap. Not the older one so much." Lucifer said sitting with them.
"We may not like the past but we have to embrace it " the prince said. Even if he wasn't officially prince it was what everyone called him. The prince looked about Sage's age. The king turned to Lucifer. "Who are you!"
"Hello." Lucifer said. "I'm The Devil and you have been very helpful the past few days Mr. King. Left and right making the wrong desicions. Except if course I can't really blamed for any of it. Because I know you. So tell me king. What is you desire. You deepest truest desire." He pulling out the kings desires."
