Constantly Unsure
Hello! Been awhile since I've been on here so I decided to start fresh. As a hook, here are some different plots or fandoms I'm infatuated with:
Fandom:
- Some good ol' fashion Hogwartz: let's explore the supernatural world as students from the Harry Potter universe! Engage with mythical creatures, fight House discrimination, develop canon ideas and more.
- Are the Hunger Games out of style yet?: just like the novel, but with any changes necessary to benefit us while still being interesting! Friendship (or romance?) across districts or within the same one, emotionally-distressing situations to build character, going along with the Capitol or overthrowing it--the possibilities are drool-worthy!
- Creature of Skyrim: How fun would it be to rp some adventures in the world of Skyrim? Honestly there is so much to do in-game that to write out some original plots relating to the game would be awesome. The focus could be set on one of the guilds, traveling, one of the main quest lines, etc. Much to do, many opportunities to write.
Fantasy:
- The Magical World of Fae: A species divided by the elements, the fae can be beautiful yet deadly creatures with their glamour, enhanced senses, and inherit (yet limited) magical abilities. In this universe rogue fae are eating the flesh of their own kind and humans, shifters are terrorizing trade routes, one of the four kingdom's royal family is being poisoned with iron!
- The Dragon-shifter and their companion: a travel-adventure plot about a dragon shifter and their human/supernatural companion. Watch their relationship develop from strangers to more as they experience new cultures among other species, find the aesthetics in the natural world, learn new practices among other activities.
- A Knight and their Healer: a medieval-setting about - you guessed it - a knight and a healer. With their jobs, paths must cross and the two must spend quite a bit of time together whether they wish to or not. Involvement of magic is optional and historical accuracy are not a must. Lots of potential angst and conflict in this plot, and world-building or new ideas welcome!
Realistic:
- That one Cafe plot: a more romance-focused barista x customer universe. Working in the food service industry isn't always interesting. Yeah, there are assholes. But there are also super nice people too. And sometimes, when you're super lucky, a nice, cute person walks in and becomes a regular. Be still, my heart! [bonus content to potentially spice things up: "I want to hit on you but this is a family-owned cafe and my relative is my coworker" or "I'm too shy to be unprofessional with you so I'll just go out of my way to make cute latte art and hope you'll make the first move" and more!]
Notes:
1) None of these have to be just friendship or just romance! Being neither or both are fine with me.
2) The plot points listed above are not absolute or may not be necessary. A partnership RP is made up of at least two sides and I will value your opinion if we settle on one! Input is welcome.
3) Totally up for recommendations on new plots. Let's talk.
4) I'm down for doing the same plot line with different people!
What I'm looking for:
- Multiple partners to write with! (Not necessarily all together)
- 3rd POV writing
- Proper spelling and moderate grammar, but mistakes are a natural occurrence
- Quality > quantity, but a one paragraph minimum response is required
- Responses should be within 24 hours; communicate if inability to do so!
- Submission of potential character to use for specified plot (just to give me a brief idea--doesn't have to be extremely detailed)
- Discussion of any triggers
What you can expect from me:
- I write in 3rd POV and enjoy describing scenery and emotions.
- Tendency to be detail-orientated and give off a formal persona at times that is occasionally balanced with humor or sarcasm.
- My style fluctuates and adapts to my partner(s); this includes word count.
- However one-liners are a big nope for me! I will always try to do at least one paragraph (or whatever will supplement the flow of the rp).
- I am 100% open to new ideas!
- Defying gendernorms and exploring genders and sexualities are my jam! However I do tend to write more male-identifying characters with submissive tendencies (AKA bottom, catcher, uke, receiver or whatever other synonyms).
- A response should happen within 24 hours, I will let you know if I'm unable to do so
- I also value communication: let's chat about plot, characters, or anything in-between!
- Am o-kay with using either threads, inbox (whenever mine unlocks), skype, or email!
Lastly,
We both reserve the right to leave an rp! We just need to let each other know. A quick, "Hey, I'm not feeling this" or something will suffice for me. :^)
