Fantasy Moon Lake Orphanage

AlmighTy

Two Thousand Club
Welcome to Moonlake Orphanage!

You're a regular kid who has been sent to this orphanage because your parents have been killed... or so you think. Have they really? You think making a fresh start might be good, and look forward to coming, almost. When you arrive all the carers are horrible and you don't have enough food or water, enough of anything really. The rooms are cramped and dirty. When you try to run away you get caught.... always. Punishments include no food or water, locked in cupboards for days on end, and of course..... the Killer. Kids get put in there and are left until on the brink of death. Why do they want you? Will you escape? Will you team up with other kids or go the road alone? How many secrets does Moonlake Orphanage actually have?

Joy walked up to the steps leading to the door of the orphanage, the huge gates closed behind her and the lady whom accompanied her, Joy looked at the big building, analyzing it from top to bottom, she didn't want to stay in a place like this, who would? But she had no choice, both her parents had died in a business trip a few weeks back, Joy, eventually went down to a police station near her house to inform them her parents had gone missing, this, would normally not worry Joy, she was old enough to cook and care for herself, but her parents always called her, and would tell her when they would come back, but one day, the phone calls stopped and they didn't come back when they had said they would, the family lawyer tried to find a good home for her, but seeing as the family had no relatives that were still alive, they decided it would be best to send her to a orphanage, and now, she was going to live there for an indefinite amount of time, she wasn't really looking to get to know anyone, she just wanted to go back to her home, even if her parents were long gone.

Angela sat alone in a dusty room with things crawling beneath the carpet, mostly insects and probably a few spiders. The chair she sat upon was barely rigid, and water dropped from a leak in the ceiling. She had barely been there for an hour, and she still wished to be elsewhere. Any Orphanage would be better than this one. She wondered where the carers were, not that she couldn't take care of herself, but what about other children that had the misfortune to end up spending part of their lives here?

Joy stepped back, as the door opened, reviling a rather broken down house, Joy couldn't see many kids though, which she was relived for, since she did not wish to speak with anyone for the moment, after though, she began thinking of various ways she could get out of the orphanage and return ti her home, she did not want to stay here and live here for the rest of her life, even if getting out of the orphanage required help, she was determined enough to find some allies and escape together, since, she was sure, no kid would ever want to live in a broken old house.

Nathan was locked in the storage facility, again. He never sees Miss Hagith when he is just walking around the building but as soon as he springs to action to leave the retched place she always catches him. Now he was alone in a cramp closet like area. There wasn't even much in there except for some clothes plagued with holes and cans without labels. This always made him wonder about Moonlake Orphange, and when he wonder his mind takes him places.

Truthfully his mind just wants to be with his little brother, Cyril. Why did they have to split them up?

Joy stepped into the building, while someone she assumed to be the owner of the place talked about what good hands she would be in, then the lawyer who accompanied her said goodbye, and then left, Joy watched as the pair of doors closed behind her, the lady then told her to follow, and showed her to her new room, it was an empty pitch black room with barely anything in it, the only thing there was to sleep on were some torn blankets stacked up on each other, Joy was now convinced this place was going to be awful, it made her miss her parents even more. After putting some stuff she had brought with her down onto the blankets, she decided to explore around the house, trying to find something to pass the time until dinner, she had been given a list of chores she had to do, but since she was new and they day was about to end, the lady decided to let her do them tomorrow, so, for now, the only thing she could do was wander aimlessly through the halls of the house.

Ms.Gardner a short woman with long white hair walked out her office "Feed the children , clean the children , and respect the children nag .. nag.. nag.. " Ms.Gardner went in the kitchen and started cooking "This will be a meal they remember ." She made a big roast , mash potatoes and for dessert arsenic flavoured ice cream . "Dinner is served ." She Yelled on th p.a as she sat down and started eating

Nathan's stomach growled and roared at the call for dinner. This was the third night he has been locked away in the closet which means tonight he was allowed to come out. He sat on the cold floor until he heard the many chambers unlock causing the door to swing open in a slow, heavy motion. No one was around when he exit but it wasn't the first time it happen. The brunet wasn't to worried about it since it was time for dinner.

Amanda walked up the steps slowly, looking around as she did. She knocked on the orphanage's door, not wanting to be rude and just walk in. That could get her in trouble and beat...or at least, that was how it was at her old home. She stood there, looking back at the gates and the city as she waited.

Ms.Gardner Opened The Door "WHAT? I was eating dinner and now it's probably cold because you want to be a pest . " She Frowned at the girl

Amanda smiled up at the lady despite her attitude. "Hello, my name is Amanda and I was told I would be living here from today onward." She said, her voice unreadable.

Ms.Gardner Walked Away "I don't care." She Pointed to the tv "Mine." She pointed to the kitchen "eat." Ms.Gardner sat down and started to eat "eat plenty of ice cream."

"In the attic." The attic had no heat and a mattress on the floor it was a really sad room "Shoo Shoo my soaps are on."

"Yes ma'am." She said before heading up to the attic. When she got there, she gave a bitter laugh. It was just like her room back home. She laid down and looked the ceiling. Maybe this would be just like home. Great.
