Fantasy Monstrum's Boarding School(Go Look At the Reboot!)

Kina poked her head out from under the book. "th-thank you." she said, quietly. She lifted the book off of her head with her tail and sat delicately, her tail wrapped around her claws. she looked sheepishly at the wooden platform. "That's the f-first time I've gotten a c-compliment about that." She grinned slightly.

"Yeah I know how you feel" he said, deciding that a bit of conversation wouldn't be the worst thing "Back home they used to call me "That freak kid you shouldn't go near" he scratched the back of his neck anxiously.

Kina turned back into a human. She looked at the boy across from her and smiled kindly. "You don't seem like a freak to me."

He tried to smile back, but he wasn't particularly good at the whole 'being polite' thing. "Thanks" he said as he created a ball of water and twirled it around his hand, same thing he always did when he got nervous, mad or anxious.

Kina's eyes widened as the boy spun the water over his hand. She tilted her head in curiosity, taking a mental snapshot of the ball of water. "Whoa." She breathed out quietly. Not wanting to be rude, she quickly looked away at the windows.

I smiled a little bit. "Its nice to get a 'Whoa' for once rather than a 'stop that'" I said as she looked at the water "I'm James by the way, James Reeth"

Adam looks around and sees that no one even realizes that he is there so he starts heading back to his dorm room. "If I'm going to be invisible around here I might as well stay in my room," he mumbles.

James decided that whenever he drew himself into lengthy conversations, he managed to screw something up, so he tried to end the conversation by standing up and saying "I should probably get going, there's a lot to prepare for tomorrow being the first day and all."

Orca was staring off into space, minding her own business but getting nowhere. She sighed, deciding she would have to make some sort of effort if she was going to learn anything about anything here if she didn't talk to someone. Orca wasn't exactly social, but she figured she should try to meet some of the other students. However, as Orca stood to move to another table where she saw some students that didn't look so intimidating, she tripped over someone's tail and stumbled into several tables, including the one where Kina and James sat, with her heavy backpack. Her sealskin fell out of the bag as Orca scrambled to stand up. Ugh...wonderful first day of school. Of course I would make a complete fool of myself. She sighed and grabbed the skin before shoving back into the bag. "Um...sorry about that," she said to the people whose table she pushed a bit when she had stumbled.

Sunday/ 6:20/ Dinning Hall

Aysel stared at the food in disgust. She saw all the other student gorging themselves like pigs and felt like barfing. She grabbed an apple and hovered over to find an empty table. Oddly enough there wasn't any. She went over to a table were a lanky boy with glasses was sitting (Random NPC =]). She stood over him and glared at him with menacing eyes. "Move."

The lanky boy, looked up at the ghost and stood up. A smile of victory began to form on Aysel's lips, but quickly fell when the boy began to grow. His flimsy arms were engulfed by large biceps and his body stretched almost 5 feet into the air. The lanky boy was a smaller version of hulk, but he was still pretty immense. He gave a loud roar making Aysel's hair flow back with his breath.

Although she had a small hesitation, Aysel's cold glare was back. She reached over and touched his enlarged leg. "Fear."

The tiny hulk began to yell he swayed his arms around as if swatting away bugs. He screamed and pleaded for help. Aysel didn't know what he was seeing. All she knew was that his greatest fear was dancing around in his mind. Aysel smiled as the boy squirmed around in fear. After several moments Aysel removed her hand and the boy stopped squirming. His breath was shaky and he began to shrunk down. She sat in the table that he was sitting in and the rest of the people that were there scurried away. Aysel gave a small shrug and began to eat her apple.

"Thats alright" he said, turning girl that stumbled "Are you o-ok?" James stuttered a bit at the ending for when he looked at her, the first thing he noticed was she had the most startling green eyes he had ever seen. He stared at her in awe

Orca let out a frustrated sigh as she dusted herself off, briefly inspecting the damage. Thankfully, there hadn't been any food on the floor where she fell, that wouldn't have been fun at all. "Yeah, I'm fine...thanks. Just making a fool out of myself on the first day, but no big, right?" Well...this wasn't how she planned on meeting people, but now there was an opportunity staring her in the face, so she took it. "Are you guys new here?" she asked. She couldn't help but noticed they seemed a little less social than some of the other students and thought maybe she wasn't the only new kid at Monstrum's.

"Yeah I just got here today" I said breaking myself from my trance "My names James Reeth, and you are" I offered my hand to the girl

Miki stared at her food, not very hungry. She sighed and poked the thing with her fork, and took a bite. She recoiled and stuck out her tongue. She grabbed a piece of bread and bit into in, mumbling. She stretched her wings a bit, trying not to hit anyone, not that there was anyone near her to hit. She sighed and munched on her bread.

Sunday/6:30/Dinning hall

Brandie and Brandon, two of the teachers at the school. Strolled into the dinning hall with an elegant stride. They were side by side walking through the tables with there hands clasped together. The smell of food ran up their nostrils.

"Hmmmm smell that Brandie. I sure missed that God awful smell of cafeteria food."

Brandie took a big waft of the steaming hot food,
"Oh yeah. Smell's like Aunt Patricia's house after she's had the run."

Both the siblings laughed at the comment and headed over to make line for food. They each got a plate with their drinks being the only different item. Brandie had apple juice and Brandon had root beer. They spotted a table with a lone girl student and decided to sit with her. What is it weird for teachers to eat dinner with a student? "Hello dear, Mind if we sit with you?"

@Icefox11

Miki looked up from her piece of bread to spy two teachers. "I don't mind at all. Please sit." Miki said, retracting her wings to make room for the people sitting next to her. She smiled at them, hoping to be a bit friendly. She never came off as friendly, mostly just scary and lethal. Angels were supposed to be pure creatures that everyone liked. That was a big fat lie as she soon figured out. No matter what you had, if you were different, they hated you.

Brandie shot the girl and smile and sat down next to her whereas Brandon didn't seem to happy with the idea of eating with a student, but he would please his sister. Brandie began to take the food off her plate and held the items at eye level. She stared at one of the items she had gotten, pizza, and wiggled her nose. Suddenly the cheese on the pizza began to bubble. Brandie placed the pizza back on the plate and watched as the cafeteria pizza turned into a oven roasted duck with seasoned vegetables at the side. She smiled and looked up at Brandon who had done the same only his pizza had turned into a seafood medley with a garlic buttered biscuit on the side.

"Ah much better. Bon Appetit!"
Brandie grabbed her fork and knife and began to eat her duck. After several bites she turned to look at the girl, "So what is your name sweetie?"

Miki smiled a bit. "My name's Miki." She said, looking at the woman. She was defiantly a perky girl. The boy didn't seem to like sitting here as much as the girl did. She watched them change there pizza into much more extravagant food. Her eyes widened, looking at the food. "Wow, your good." Miki commented, looking at the food.

Brandie smiled at the Miki, "Oh this old trick. Non-sense." She looked over her shoulder and saw a girl with horns and a pointy tail walking by with an overly confident stride(NPC). Brandie's smile turned wicked, "Watch this." Brandie shifted her body so that she was facing the girl more directly. She pointed her finger at the devilish girl. The girl suddenly lost her step and tripped making her food fly and land right on top of her. Brandie laughed and flicked her finger up. At that same time the girl began to levitate until she was a good 4 feet from the ground. Brandie's finger flicked back down and the girl came crashing to the floor.

"That's ENOUGH!" Brandon had stood up over the table and roared out at his sister.

Brandie frowned, "Oh you never let me have any fun." She turned back around and continued to eat her food.

Adam is staring at his hands and realizes something. "I left my phone in the dinning hall," he says to himself. He walks back through the doors just as a girl gets lifted into the air and slammed into the ground. He switches over to his demon personality and lets his wings and horns out. "Who's idea of a joke is this?" He snarls out while gliding over to her to make sure she is ok while keeping a eye on everybody. As soon as Brandon roars that's enough Adam takes off to the table. "You think it's funny to pick on others girly?" He snarls into Brandie's face intimidatingly.

The voice of the boy maked Brandie stop half way from taking a bite. Calmly she grabs her napkin, straightens her back, and wipes her mouth. She turned to look at the boy who was snarling on her face. Her gaze was deadly, but other than that her face was expressionless. She stood up slowly using her magic to make herself taller than to demon boy.

"And who do you think you are to talk to a professor like that young man." Her voice was calm yet there was a power resonating behind it. A power that made her words sound deadly. Brandie rose her hand turning the demon boy back to a simple human and stripping him of his powers momentarily. (Yes she can do that since she is a teacher. How else would they control a bunch of powerful creatures)

With a flick of her hand she brought the boy down to his knees and inflicting a slight amount of pain on his body. "You will respect your authority." Her voice was no longer calm. Instead it boomed across the entire dinning hall bringing it to silence while her words echoed. "Is that clear?" Brandie began to shrink back to her normal size although she still had control over the boy. "I said, IS THAT CLEAR?"

Miki sweat dropped at her crazy professor. 'And I thought most other people were nuts...' Miki thought, looking at her. She was standing and making the poor boy bow. Miki stayed quiet out of fear. Getting in her way would only cause her trouble. "Does she do this often?" Miki asked the other professor. He seemed more grounded and slightly more irritated than his friend.

Brandon placed a hand on his forehead as if pressing back a headache, "My sister is one to make a scene unfortunately." Brandon looked down at his wristwatch. "It's getting late the bell should be ringing any minute." Brandon stood up ignoring his sister and the poor student she had controlling under her magik. With a flick of his hand the plate of food disappeared. "I suggest you get a good night's rest. I do not like student's walking in to my class late." He said in a matter-of-fact voice knowing that Miki's first class was, in fact, Care for Magical Creatures with him.

Brandon walked away with his elegant stride. Not waiting for his sister.

Lilith Crane strode towards the counter, nodding curtly at the unvoiced question the server threw at her. By the time she reached the food, her tray had already been specially prepared. A vegetarian meal to the casual observer, with a heavy flask lying beside the plate and cutlery. Turning, Lilith surveyed the dining hall. It was a mess of creatures, new pupils and old alike creating a din of conversation and cutlery. Lilith spotted a girl getting to her feet, and ahead of her a boy, firmly in the clutches of Brandie. Lilith strode towards them, stepping smoothly around the girl, taking care to keep her tray level. As Brandie boe down on the boy, Lilith set her tray down at the table, although she remained standing, unstopping the flask and taking a long swig, a drop of red escaping to run down her jaw. Turning to Brandie she said,

"Brandie, release the boy. I'm sure whatever mistake he made he has thought better of it now."

Lilith glanced at the boy, spotting those eyes she added with a smirk, "Although Nephilim half-breeds like this one I admit rarely know better than to cause trouble. Angel or Demon, they rarely stop to think and often hold these..."

Lilith pretended to grope for the right word, enjoying the effect.

"...Delusions, that they and they alone know right from wrong, and are obliged to force their chequered morals on everyone else they encounter."
