I think you should continue. You draw very well and in my opinion you manage to use the watercolor pencils with the subtlety it requires.Your last WIP specially shows that, because I like to see soft strokes on watercolor instead of stronger ones.


Anyways, any of your drawings would be lovely tattoos, so congrats.

It's really cool that you're drawing oni. I've seen those horned faces before, but I just haven't drawn a relation between those and the oni until now.


If you ever want an idea or two for your 25 drawings, you can ask me. I have a couple of characters in mind who are humanoid oni, which might lead to something a bit different to draw.

Suika Ibuki (right) and Yuugi Hoshiguma (left) from the Touhou Project. Plenty of art has been made of them, which means there's plenty to reference!

Just stalked through the thread and as someone who's never been able to use watercolours (I can only use standard pencil) I seriously admire your work!!

I know exactly what you mean! It's so hard to find something you really want to draw, and when you do it's like "well I'm just gonna be putting it away anyway." Same reason I made a thread myself, just seemed a bit more open on here.
I love to see other people's art, it's always interesting to see the different styles and takes on things :3 and so far we have really talented people on the site, so you are more than welcome
