Well I was thinking since his is fusion it doesn't have to be the same type of fusion. She could infuse her body with the energy of another through touch to gain the use of their ability like how he gains new powers through soul consumption. Although hers only last as long as the energy does so the longer she is connected to siphon energy the longer the ability will last and the more potent it will be. I also thought, to incorporate her strange quirks, that if she needed quick fusions she could do simple things like a kiss or something like that but if she needs more than that she could get them to dance with her. Kinda like rogue except she has more control over touching people.
