The 'White Bread' of the Rp Game

RyuuRyuu couldn't help but to notice the awkwardness in what she said, her patterns of speech seemed distant from the usually bubbly and in-your-face personality he'd gotten used to over the past few months. It was strange enough that it drew him from his own contemplation on the matter and made him think about what to speak like. He'd rarely seen her in this state, especially with the amount of sadness she seemed to be presenting. Honestly it was worrying to think that she had gotten depressed enough to not eat, especially given that she was the one who wanted to come here and barely even managed to put a dent in her meal. Taking a moment he noticed as she stared into space at the fish tank, he felt kinda bad for it... mainly because she seemed upset after his reply. He couldn't pin why though, she was the one who had suggested that her and Chris would go... he merely acknowledged that she made that request instead.
Sitting forward in his chair he picked up another dumpling with his chopsticks, at that time she turned back to him and seemed to have cheered up. Looking at her head-on he could tell that it was fake, and her last comment only served to confirm that. "You know I can see right through you pretending to be happy. I... don't know what I did to make you upset, but given what you said I can at least infer." He said before smiling a little bit towards her. "I thought you were just wanting to go with someone in general, but you've outted yourself now. So the two of us are gonna go to the aquarium then." He stated definitively. He was one of those people who didn't relinquish when he stated something, nor did he ever break his promises. With that statement still hanging fresh on the air he lifted the dumpling and held it out in Suni's direction. "We'll need to work on your asking people do stuff, otherwise asking a guy out will be hard for you. I know your mom would be upset if you couldn't get a boyfriend before she retires" He winked teasingly.
Of course his statement didn't hold any malice or flirtation, it was simply a bit of banter he was holding between himself and her. Moving past it as quickly as it came he lifted his chopsticks in her direction, the dumpling held between them holding firmly. "Here, the dumplings are really good today- so you should try one" He offered before waiting a response he was hoping that she might break out of that depressive state when he did this... but at the same time it was hard to tell given how quickly she'd fallen into it.
- EloElo listened to the response from the princess and was about to respond when she sentenced herself to another location entirely. Music truly was a powerful thing, in response he lifted an arm which began to shake ever so slightly- the more viscous mass that he was began to shift. "Just one moment" he paused the table as his form began to wriggle and writhe, coloration shifted as his appearance suddenly shifted into a much more dapper individual. If one were to poke him he would still feel the same, and he had the same properties- it just appeared more like a living being than a slime. Afterwards he nodded and listened to the questions from each of the individuals who prompted him with some sort of request.
Reaching a hand up he attempted to quell their discussion for just a moment, his eyes shifted from orange to purple, to Yuki before nodding. "Yuki, you're a fairly attractive individual among her highness's court. Don't sully such beauty with as intense an anger, you may freeze her to death at this rate." He stated with a small smile before sitting up in his chair, taking on a proper appearance as he did such a thing. "I agree whole-bodily, to the challenge that is. I have a preposition for such a thing as well. As for the lacking of human discipline, it's the same between countries they form alliances with as well. The one who considers themselves stronger by the human measurement always serves as the victor." He stated before bringing his hands together. His fingers interweaving with one another as he did such.
"I do ask this of you all, trust in the judgement of our ruler. It's yet to lead me astray." With that he glanced over to Megumi for a moment before returning his attention back to the group before him, "A trial by combat would appear most fitting, would it not? I know not of the deeper intricacies that take place in the palace, but I do know that combat between man and monster is forbidden by our contract, is it not?" He questioned as he got closer to making his point on the matter, the first thing to do was obviously to address the pent-up aggression held in the group. Had he not brought that forward then it's not unlikely that they may attempt something rash, or go as far as to challenge the hunter to combat until death. "I sensed something in his presence that I assume you didn't pick up on given your response to his arrival. There's something obscure about him, the presence was older than many i've felt before. Far more powerful as well. Tell me, do you know of the ancient creatures? Monsters who have been thought extinct in their bloodline?"
