    Ryuu
Ryuu couldn't help but to notice the awkwardness in what she said, her patterns of speech seemed distant from the usually bubbly and in-your-face personality he'd gotten used to over the past few months. It was strange enough that it drew him from his own contemplation on the matter and made him think about what to speak like. He'd rarely seen her in this state, especially with the amount of sadness she seemed to be presenting. Honestly it was worrying to think that she had gotten depressed enough to not eat, especially given that she was the one who wanted to come here and barely even managed to put a dent in her meal. Taking a moment he noticed as she stared into space at the fish tank, he felt kinda bad for it... mainly because she seemed upset after his reply. He couldn't pin why though, she was the one who had suggested that her and Chris would go... he merely acknowledged that she made that request instead.

Sitting forward in his chair he picked up another dumpling with his chopsticks, at that time she turned back to him and seemed to have cheered up. Looking at her head-on he could tell that it was fake, and her last comment only served to confirm that. "You know I can see right through you pretending to be happy. I... don't know what I did to make you upset, but given what you said I can at least infer." He said before smiling a little bit towards her. "I thought you were just wanting to go with someone in general, but you've outted yourself now. So the two of us are gonna go to the aquarium then." He stated definitively. He was one of those people who didn't relinquish when he stated something, nor did he ever break his promises. With that statement still hanging fresh on the air he lifted the dumpling and held it out in Suni's direction. "We'll need to work on your asking people do stuff, otherwise asking a guy out will be hard for you. I know your mom would be upset if you couldn't get a boyfriend before she retires" He winked teasingly.

Of course his statement didn't hold any malice or flirtation, it was simply a bit of banter he was holding between himself and her. Moving past it as quickly as it came he lifted his chopsticks in her direction, the dumpling held between them holding firmly. "Here, the dumplings are really good today- so you should try one" He offered before waiting a response he was hoping that she might break out of that depressive state when he did this... but at the same time it was hard to tell given how quickly she'd fallen into it.

Suni was truly confused with her own emotions. In her heart she wanted to spend time with Ryuu but yet she was afraid to make that step and instead push him away from her. She didn't know how she should react in this moment when it was just the two of them sitting at the table; all she felt was loneliness. So she erected a barrier of sorts between herself and Ryuu by using her book as a cover. "A-Ah... is it really that obvious? I'm sorry... I just didn't want to bother you with my problems." Suni apologized behind her book, she couldn't bare the shame of looking at him square in the face. The last thing she wanted was to make him even more upset over her; in her mind she was banging her head against the glass of the tank repeatedly.

Suni couldn't hold back her smile when she heard him wanting to go to the aquarium with her. "A-Ah if you want to then that's fine... We can visit lots and lots of fish, don't you think?" Her entire tone went from depression to happiness in an instant; one would wonder if the girl was bipolar. She was happy that he wanted to go with her, even though the process to ask him took forever. Despite this her appetite hadn't really returned, it looked like she wasn't going to eat anything for lunch today. "I'm sorry, I don't know if you know this but I don't really eat meat. You can have the dumpling back." She smiled while using her chopsticks to lightly push the dumpling back to him.
