Noble Scion
Crow, seeker of shiny things
Sang struggled up from her position on the ground after being flung across the room, thankfully not having hit anything as she went and used Caddigan's aid, having a bit of a tough time after having exerted herself to remove the weapon from the monster's hands. "Thanks." she grumbled a little raspily as she rubbed the back of her head that had taken the brunt of the force from the landing.
She refrained from harshly commenting on his humour at such a dire time and instead decided to focus more on the minotaur, but she did make note to talk to him about using the title "princess" later. All it brought back were foul memories she dwelled too much on already.
It appeared that the centaur was making their move as backup, and while Sang was fast, the Ex-Red member doubted she be able to keep up with the half-horse. She did hope that nothing poor befell the woman with such a rash charge however, and surprised her by launched her weapon at the enemy.
The wounded mage seemed to have come up with a plan, but it didn't seem like her assistance was required there either, while the demoness that couldn't even get her name correct was doing something rather unsanitary in an attempt to halt the creature's actions.
The half-demon idiot performed a stunt that almost would have provoked a laugh from ever-sour Sang if it weren't a last-ditch effort to protect their lives as he leapt for the creature's head, a wholly risky and rather terrifying idea to Sanguine, most certainly not something she'd think of herself, but all the same, he wished Kirill luck in his endeavours as she got her own breath back.
Theo seemed content sitting in safety and being useful, while she herself was feeling a little envious of the despicable magic that she attributed to ruining her life as she tried to come up with a plan and started rushing towards the axe the thing had dropped.
While Red doubted she had the strength to wield the weapon, or the energy, the next best thing was to ensure that the beast couldn't wield it either. Gripping the handle of the axe, she began trying her best to pull the thing as far away as she could, past both Tristan and Jasper before dropping the thing as far as she could take it, behind the furthest pillar from the minotaur. Satisfied with her work, she dropped to the ground, dripping with sweat as she lucidly ran an arm across her brow.
This whole scenario was giving her feelings akin to how she'd felt down at the bottom of the ocean. Weak, tired, terrified and powerless.
Swallowing her pride for the first time in her life like scalding water down her throat, she called out a suggestion to anyone that might hear her. "A-are we supposed to run? I don't think we can take this thing!", she hated the words as she said them, but this trial seemed rather insurmountable given that the thing had already taken such a beating yet remained up-right.
Brass and Felicia were both yet to make a return, a worrying fact, but she guessed that they had made a wise decision.
