The corrupted blade hosts are already 'triggered' once they have entered the game. They keep their personalities but they're one goal is to kill however many people possible. Whether it be like Chara from undertale with a complete slaughter and no mercy to Like Asgore, who is reluctant to kill you. Or even in between. Even if they are the nicest person, they will still have their goal but will do so reluctantly. If they are naturally evil/mean they won't feel anything while killing their fellow humans.Hauvlex said:@Yuuki Kagami
Hello, I have a few questions regarding the Corrupted Blade Hosts. In their description it states that they have their personalities sometimes and so I was wondering, are they completely normal until they are "triggered" by whatever causes them to freak out? And if so does that mean that they have episodes? Or once they are "triggered" do they not recover to their sane selves?
I hope my questions make sense and thank you!
Alright, alright, I know we have been over this thousands of times before, but I must ask you to stop being so good at, er, things.Entarriance said:
Name:
Micheal Knights
Nickname:
"Bruques"
Age:
19
Orientation:
Straight
Gender:
Male
Bio:
Micheal had a loving family, but he was an only child. His father was the rich owner of a monopoly in the real world, and Micheal had gotten everything that he had ever desired for when he wanted it. However, when Micheal was a child, an event caused his father to have accidently caused the death of his mother, and after having covered it up, his father lives with the guilt if that event to this day. He could no longer properly look at his son, because his face remnded him so much of his mother, the woman that he loved and the only one he was able to. He neglected the child, leaving Micheal under the care of maids, tutors, and people who had come-and-go throughout the mansion due to his inability to care for his own child.
While Micheal had gotten everything that he wanted, he could never properly indulge himself in the likes of other people in the confines of his mansion. His father feared that Micheal knew that he caused the death of his mother, and out of that fear, he kept him inside in the mansion at all times. He was well fed, educated by the tutors, and overall well taken care of. But he wasn't able to go outside and play with the people that he sees through the window everyday. Instead, he chose to indulge hyimself in the one thing he was able to indulge himself in, video games.
He sucked. No kidding. First time he played any sort of video game, he got motion sickness and was just the worst player you could get. But he had all the time in the world to play, and he progressively got better. With no one there to monitor what he could or couldn't do, he grew up to impressively be the top or at least one of the top players in a variety of First Person Shooters and MMORPGs,. Video games became his only way of life, the only way that he was able to go "outside" and interact with the world.
It backfired on him when he asked to have the new Virtual Reality, and here he stands.
Corrupted Blade Host:
Nada
Location:
Midnight's Last for now.
Weapons:
A largre spear, a heavy massive sword, and a handheld cannon. A "cannoneer" to say. There are razors around where his gloves should be which serve as claws.
Skills:
He's a tank. Massive amounts of strength, and with his extensive game knowledge, he knows how to use that strength well. He holds an impressively high amount of endurance, defense,, and strength compared to those around him, and is one of the most impressive combatters. But while he's fantastic at close combat and short-ranged fighting, he struggles when it comes to long-ranged and extremely agile subjects. Nonetheless, he's a force not to be reckoned with.
Extra:
Similar to Gavin, his name is vaguely familiar among many as "Bruques", one of the top solo players in a variety of games.

Personality:
Unlike his rough, intimidating appearance, Bruques is a kind and gentle soul with a kind consideration for others and the heart of a leader. He's not quick to judge others, and typically tries to see if there's another alternative to combat before engagting in it. Contrary to what his appearance suggests, Bruque is a quiet and level headed man. He holds a habit to talk in an old-fashioned and formal manner, possibly influenced by his family before he had been trapped in the game. He rarely loses nerve and often sees thing as above any given situation.
Appearance:
Powers:
He has a tattoo on the upper right of his face. His powers amplify his strength, defense, and endurance. However, the energy that this is powered by i his life energy, and he typically get's very tired after using it, and cannot use it for prolonged periods of time.

Name:
Ness Rooks
Nickname:
"Rui"
Age:
17
Orientation:
Straight
Gender:
Male
Bio:
Ness has had a rough life. His mother wasn't the most highly educated, and engaged in many affairs with over 4 or 5 people, eventually granting her a total of 8 children. Despite this, she did believe she could raise the children the way that she wanted to. They lived in extremely poor conditions, where even the concept of video games was too foreign to them. While she believed that she could raise the children the way that she had wanted to, it seems that her own children thought otherwise. Due to their money struggles, they often had problems with basic necessities in life , very literally fighting each other for food, which left most of them beat up and hungry. Two of Ness' brothers became drug dealers, while nearly half of them also dropped out of school. One of his sisters had ran away, but to this day, it's unsure whether or not she survived.
To try and gain money for his family like his brothers did, he wandered around their neighborhood searching for work. He was willing to do manual labour or anything that would give him food or money to try and help his work-struck mother, who couldn't stop her children due to the fact that they did get money. He had suffered extreme physical labour and mental torment from his own activities, and eventually began to engage on fighting around the neighborhood to win bets and money. It was there where his habit of stealing things began.
Because of the actions of him and his family, people came to detest the Rooks household. Their family was often targetted by the people that Ness had won bets against, or the people that he stole from. Unable to deal with any more of her family being harmed due to Ness, his mother left him under the care of a willing colleague before moving awey, believing he was strong enough to care for himself with the help of someone else.
At first, it was perfectly fine. Her colleague was enthusiastic about the child, treating him somewhat like a pet by playing with him and spoiling him. But that magic quickly faded, and they became less interested, trying to neglecdt or ignore the child when he begged for attention. Like back when he had been mentally and physically tormented, the colleague scolded and hit him whenever he tried to annoy them with his antics. Overtime, Ness began to suffer frm delusions, and the only thing that would get him to shut up, was video games. It sent him into another reality, something that he could live with, and something that was different and something he could tolerate. It was a world where he could live out a fantasy and not be scolded otherwise.
He's disliked by many players for cheating, hacking, and finding any off-handed way to become the top.
Corrupted Blade Host:
Nope.
Location:
Midnight's Last
Weapons:
His main weapon consists of two small swords about the size of his arm. But he doesn't hold just one weapon, he has an arsenal of smaller things that he uses.. Under his cape/jacket, he has smoke bombs, throwing knives, actual knives, flash bombs, handguns and pistols, black powder for explosions, grenades, a plasma rifle, you name it. In fact, he has so much stuff, people really question where he got it...
Skills:
Like in reality, Rui is an extremely nimble character with massive amounts of agility. He seems to focus more on rapid attacks and long-ranged fighting rather than heavy attacks, and the problem that many face is just hitting him. He doesn't hold a lot of HP, and usually one hit would induce a massive amount of damage. But can you even hit him first is the question.
His agility is described as a curse for him, and he uses his enhanced dexterity as a thief. He's one of the most nimblest players with the highest skill set on agility.
Extra:
Doesn't ever aspire to leave the game, despite the assurity of those around him.
Had a temporary crush on Locke.
Usually seen as two-faced and a cheater due to his method being "I'll do whatever it takes to win, even if it's not fair"

Personality:
His kind-like, boyish appearance and friendly eccentric voice initially gave off the impression that he's innocent and a friendly individual. But it's quickly to be revealed how he's cruel, sadistic, cold, and callous. He derives pleasure from watching the suffering of others, which is plainly made among his comrades, but hidden among everyone else. He doesn't express it, but he grows excited when bearing witness to the pain and discomfort of those around him. These tendencies typically arise from the bitter grudge that he held towards his own past, where he was in a state of complete destitution, forced to watch others enjoy lavish lifestyles that they didn't deserve. As a mean of coping with the overwhelming hatred that he experiences toawrds such individuals, he developed a morbid enjoyment from watching others die and suffer.. But even with his callous and sadistic side, the "mask" that he takes on is a childish open hearted individual, as reminsnce to the childhood that he struggled to hold.
Appearance:
Powers:
Rui specializes as a beginner in all elemental magics, but even moreso in Air and Wind. He has limited ability to make small fires and fireballs, control water and manipulate it to a number of shapes (but not too much water, he gets tired), making walls and small domes out of Earth and tossing rock. But for Air and Wind, he seems to be moderatly talented in it, lowering his own air resistance to increase his speed or using jet propulsion to make him go even faster.

Name:
Elliad Lockeheart
Nickname:
"X"
Age:
17?
Orientation:
Straight?
Gender:
Female?
Bio:
TBR (Already have-discussed with Yuuki)
Corrupted Blade Host:
Nope.
Location:
Midnight's Last
Weapons:
Her main weapon appears to be a simple sniper. She doesn't appear to be very adept with combat.
Skills:
Despite her statistics in strength not appearing to be very high, she holds an extremely observant and analytical eye, quickly able to assess situations and formulate a plan to deal with it.. She's analytical, intelligent, and seems to know a little "too" much on this game world....
X also makes up for her lack of strength by being a rather exemplary healer.
Extra:
Rumoured to have a "cute" smile.
Seems to love detective or problem-solving situations and murder mysteries.
Appears to be a bit too indifferent and naive to the world around her, but get's overenthusiastic very easily.

Personality:
X normally has a quiet and sleepy demeanor, but she becomes a lot more lively when discussing about the game / games and concentrated hard when playing. She often uses gaming terms or references, and seems to have a number of unusual habits, like dozing off while standing up, forgetting to breathe, a lot of weird little things. But overall, X is a very calm individual, never raising her voice or screaming. She provides important point among the environment or situations, and willing to help anyone no matter their intentions, which makes her a bit naive towards social situations. At times she can be stern and bluntly honest, at times forgetting to put people's feelings into consideration, but she doesn't mean it to heart.
X is extremely observant and analytical, but she lacks knowledge on a variety of subjects due to the nature of her existence. For example, how water bottles or made, apparently where babies come from, or really anything outside of the world within the game or around it. She doesn't understand how romantic love works, and she's genuinely concerned about it. She also feels a bit uncomfortable around animals and touching people, particularly because they're unpredictable and feel warm when touched,, which is "a bit scary" in her opinion.
X usually ends her sentences with negative notations, even if she meant to compliment someone or cheering someone, like "I think..." or "Maybe..."
She dislikes unecessary violence more than anything, and get's very heated about the topic. No matter what one's intentions are, she's the nicest towards others, trying her best to understand them. Something about the way she acts and speaks makes her appear rather young.
She holds herself to be truly neutral, but that may change over the roleplay.
Appearance:
Powers:
She doesn't appear to hold a lot of combat capabilities, but nonetheless, she appears to be an insanely good healer, if not the best. She specializes in healing magic, and something about it always seems a little too "sudden or forced".
What she likes to consider a power of her own is "Locke Aim", where from a distance,, she has the ability like binoculars or a gun scope to zoom into or examine a situation.
These are the only powers seen by her so far, but she could be well capable of many more. There's apparently those who had seen her slightly alter or "glitch" throughout the game, but these could have easily been fabricated lies. Nonetheless, her ability in combat appears rather limited. Or she simply doesn't aspire to be violent.

Like extra weird. Creative writing was one of the classes I failed because I suck at writing poetry. The first quarter was all about short stories and fun stuff, but the second one was all about plays, musicals, ballads, sonnets, and other poetry from various cultures.Entarriance said:HOO BOY DONT WE HAVE SOME WEIRD HISTORY WITH EACH OTHER
