Scarlett's hands were a little shaky as well. Her whole body felt shaky really, but her hands were most noticeable. They would have been anyway if she wasn't holding them steady, together in her lap. It had been exciting, but not necessarily in a good way.
"I guess I found some adventure." she joked with a smile, reaching for the small coffee sitting in front of her. What else was she supposed to do besides go back to what she had been doing? In all honesty she wasn't even that hungry anymore. She knew she would be hungry again once she calmed down.
Even though she had more to talk about, Scarlett just wasn't feeling so talkative anymore. There was a lot on her mind, but anything she wanted to say, she wasn't sure she wanted anyone else to hear. Her and Eve were friends, but she wasn't up for talking to anyone about what was bothering her. So she quietly sipped away at her coffee, stewing in her thoughts.
