Fandom Metal Gear Solid Roleplay

I would love to do this, actually. I would have to do an OC, having never touched the older games, unfortunately. But I'm always up for research

Specialist Specialist With a bit of reworking I think the OC would be a good one. Would you be averse to perhaps making her a villain for Big Boss to face in the Vietnam War era? Also if you wanted to take more than one character, we still have several spots to fill

LoneSniper87 LoneSniper87 If you wouldn't mind sending me the OC. Also keep in mind there are still several key players still available.

SeantheIrishman SeantheIrishman Funnily enough, I've reworked it rather unconsciously. I could most definitely make her a threat during Operation: Snake Eater. Though, who would she be employed by? XOF? Someone else?

Peace-Walker, then? Or some other era close to that setting? Also; would she still be allowed to be a parasite, or just a regular agent of XOF or whoever has employed her? SeantheIrishman SeantheIrishman (Note, I've only played TPP.)

It would be in between Snake Eater and Peace Walker. I'm replacing Portable Ops with a completely original story to better integrate some characters such as EVA and Roy Campbell into the mythos.
Specialist Specialist

Roger dodger... I'll see what I can work with. Below, I've posted an updated format. If theres anything to work on given that I have nt played Snake Eater nor Peace Walker, let me know.

Name: 'Deathstalker' (Jane Redfield)

Age: 21 (1973; born 1952)

Species/Race: Human

Sex: Female

Universe: Metal Gear Solid

Faction and Rank: XOF Agent, FOX Infiltrate

Equipment:

-M14: This .308 battle rifle is renown for its durability and reliability in the field, and favors a balance between stopping power and accuracy. It comes with a suppressor, foregrip, laser/light attachment and a medium Red Dot scope. This weapon is

-Remington M870: A pump-action 12 gauge shotgun introduced in 1950, the Remington M870 is widely used across civilian, law enforcement and military branches.

-CQC Enhancer Suit: This specially designed bodysuit features noise-isolating footsteps and profile concealment, allowing the user to sneak virtually undetected into enemy territory. Acting as a cross between additional muscle mass, dexterity, and agility, these suits were nearly indestructible by the environment. Developed with aromatic polyamide, these suits were heat resistant, carried a stronger strength-to-weight ratio, and were nigh-impervious to exposure and harsh weather.

-Binoculars: A pair of binoculars. Strong and durable, these binos are resistant to lense fogging.

-Anti-personnel sensor: A device which utilizes electromagnetic pulses to detect living human beings, representing their proximity in the form of vibrations.

-Directional Microphone: A parabolic microphone, able to pierce through soundproof walls and most interiors to pick up conversations without alerting enemies.

-Radio: A radio, turned to a specific encrypted frequiency

-STABO Harness: Fitted over the sneaking suit, this harness allows operatives to be extracted via helicopter.

-Service knife: A standard-issue combat knife.

Abilities:

Prototype Parasite: One of XOF's first prototypes of the Skulls, the parasite administered to Jane during her capture lead to an interesting result. It allowed her to exhibit most attributes displayed by the successors of the Camo unit, but with a few major abnormalities. She is able to cloak and remain cloaked while moving, however any contact with external objects in her environment will cause her form to 'flicker' in and out of existence, revealing her to nearby enemies. In addition, she is not masked on Thermals when cloaked and will show up more or less as a giant red flare on enemy optics, which can alert and simultaneously blind enemies like a double-edged sword. She is able to jump five times the normal human height and can do so while cloaked. Furthermore, the parasite has rendered her unable to strongly experience any form of emotion when it's not nullified. Electrocution, telepathy, and heavy ballistic trauma will strip her of her abilities temporarily, allowing for a quick follow-up kill.

Personality: Jane is by-the-book when it comes to getting the mission done, even going so far as to cut contact entirely from the radio while she does her job. She's silent, calculating and highly analytical of her surroundings. There are only a few known people who've been able to breach her hardened exterior, and beneath that is a traumatized soul that will do anything to protects those she has bonded the closest to.

Positive Traits:

-Everything and Nothing: Jane was Skull Face's ideal 'protégé' compared to Les Enfants Terribles; having developed the equivalent of a living weapon without the absurdly high rate of failure, trial and error.

Negative Traits

- The Evil Within: After being kidnapped by a XOF mole inside the Central Intelligence Agency shortly after Jane's enlistment in 1970, Skull Face, hiding his abductee from Major Zero, proceeded to brainwash the defenseless woman into his cause; coupling hypnotherapy, physical and mental conditioning to train her into his ultimate assassin. Three years post-capture, Jane underwent the first experimental surgery using Code Talker's refined vocal-cord parasite. The parasite bonded to her with atypical results; making her unsuitable for 'true' integration into the future Camouflage Unit. Not wanting to waste resources or killing the 'prototype' off, Skull Face decided that his 'weapon' be dispatched on a mission with the ultimate end goal of infiltrating Force Operation X to gain intel on and kill Major Zero and anyone getting in her way. This plan was, effectively, to use Jane as Skullface's means of revenge on his former Commanding Officer.

- Stoical: Jane disregards most orders issued to her from outsiders and harbors outright disrespect of glory-filled, self-leadership types. She cooperates when she needs to.

- 'By the Book': Jane despises a messy operation and prefers clean kills and minimal detection.
