Metal Gear Solid: Dark Sector (Bacon and Jester)

"Right finally " she said standing up "now hopefully those mercenaries didn't vanish from existance".

"Don't worry, they won't," Clark said as he pulled out some car keys and opened the door to the hotel room. "Besides, where's the fun in an infiltration mission without knocking some heads together in the process?"

"I meant is them vanishing with the information we need also i think we should both agree on NOT talking about a secret military mission in public at all".

As Clark pulled up to a hidden area to park the car, which was near the mission area, he got out and took his stuff from the trunk. "If you're thinking that I can't handle myself, doubt that thought. I'm better than you think I am."

Clark pulled out his equipment from the trunk. He put on a dark blue and grey buff to cover his mouth and neck, then the Solid Goggles, turning them on to their default setting, then his lucky hat to cover the top of his head. He proceeded to put on the gloves and Camo device he brought with him, and slung a small pack, along with the P90, along his back. He finally holstered his handgun, then said, "Alright, let's go."

"Well since i practically have all my weapons and equipment and sneaking suit on so ya lets get going " she said.

"Oh yeah, one more thing," Clark said, pulling out some headphones and placing them over his ears. "Perfect." He headed off on the direction the main entrance to the building, pulling his gloves on tight.

"Expect those to knocked off at any given moment" she said looking at his headphones as she follows him into the main entrance of the building.

"For what reason?" Clark asked annoyingly. "Besides, it helps me concentrate and improves my performance in the field." As they arrived at the entrance, Clark looked inside. No one in sight. He took a look at the door, which had a key-card lock on it. He grinned from behind his buff. "This shouldn't take long." He crouched down to examine the lock and cracked his knuckles.

"No one being in sight makes me a tad bit paranoid " she said as she takes out her SOCOM and combat knife in case something happens "hurry up and unlock the thing".

"Alright, quit your worrying," Clark said as he set the goggles to "tech" mode. Touching the side of the card-reader, he opened up a window full of numbers; the numbers that are used to unlock the door. Searching for an already used number by scrolling down the window with his finger, he selected one by touching it. "And 1-2-3, done." After a few moments, the red light on the reader turned green and the lock clicked open. He got back up and set the goggles to normal vision. Everything he saw in tech vision couldn't be seen by normal eyes, so to people not wearing Solid Goggles would just see Clark waving his hand around.

Viper cautiously entered the building looking around for any enemies "stay low they might just be staying hidden" she said.

"Dont worry about me," Clark said confidently. "I can easily find the enemies' positions anywhere." He listened carefully into the steady beat going on in his headphones, waiting for an offbeat step to occur.

"Third floor inside a server room," Clark said, concentrating on the beat in his headphones. Suddenly, he heard an offbeat coming from a hallway. "Hide!" He exclaimed quietly as he pulled out his handgun with silencer attached and turned on his Active Camo, turning him, along with the gun, completely invisible. He aimed at the direction of the offbeat.

Viper quickly crouched down and pointed her gun at the hallway looking for any signs of the enemy.

Clark quickly shot at the approaching guard, who wasn't even visible in the darkness of the building, soon hearing the thump of the dead body hitting the floor. "Let's go," he said as he went into the hallway to hide the body behind the lobby counter.

Viper nodded and followed Clark "i feel theres not enough guards in this building but its just probably me".

"It seems that way to me also," Clark said seriously. "We may have a firefight later, so be prepared." He deactivated the Camo so it wouldn't reactivate, then proceeded to search for a stairwell, listening for the offbeat of any other guards.

"Definitely seems like it my sneaking suit is bullet proof actually well my torso is bullet proof anyways" she said looking around for a stairwell or elevator.

"Something tells me that being bulletproof isn't gonna matter," Clark said as he found a stairwell. He hacked the alarm on the stairwell so that it wouldn't go off when he opened the door.

"Yes, but they're probably cloaked," Clark said as he ascended the stairwell. "What I wanna know is how did these guys get their hands on this stuff?"

"You know i'm really starting to think this is some kind of trap there's barely any guards around and for some reason they have information about some kind of mercenary regime".
