Metal Gear Rising: Tactical Cooperative Action

Buh you could do worse systemwise than FATE

Such as story teller system which sucks at telling stories

I love the MGS series. Sounds like it's MGRR crossed over with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

I'd like to join, but what's FUDGE?

I'm sorry, I'm new here.. >__<

FUDGE is a rule system for actual tabletop RPGs, but it's been heavily simplified for this. The DM has a pretty good summary here.

I am deeply curious as to which system you guys don't disdain.

I am quietly hoping it isn't FATAL.

Well, FUDGE is a clear winner here. I think we can find some common ground in d2, as well.

Oh, aye, I was directing that at Ixacise and Zaskille and, as you might imagine, mostly in jest.

Disagree with you there, but whatever suits your style, I suppose.

Savage Worlds, GURPS, ORE, Gamma World, DnD 2e, Mekton, Chrome Strike, Shadowrun 3e and 4e, Spycraft, Fantasycraft, Agon, AFMBE, M&M, Retroclones, Adventurer Conqueror King, Battletech/Mechwarrior, Legends of the Wulin, Feng Shui, Fate of the Norns and Everyone is John.

And what do you play? Gang Rape? Fatmandown?

How's agon?

I only heard of it because google keeps redirecting it when I search for Agone which is a way different game

It's a pretty good, combat is a sort of rock-paper-scissors stance system thing and it's got this competition mechanic where you get bonuses for getting a higher killcount and honoring the gods, kind of like Panty Explosion's popular girl thing except with ancient Grecian murdermachines instead of Scanners.

Lately? Haven't played much but variations on WoD.

Be nice to play a whole host of things off those lists, but no one is running any at the moment.

I know what I'm ripping off for my Fabulous Manly Aztecs singletopic game system game

Also the new Feng Shui rules for the new edition that I got as a backer are marginally better. But I still want to fucking slap Robin D. Law's fat bearded face for making the damned char customization outside of advancement so damn clunky with its nigh-nonexistence. Also the reload rules are still ass and objectively worse than 1st ed

That's the thing about tabletop RPG's, ain't it? Rules rules everywhere but not a game to play.

Wait, you still have to work with only pregens? What a world.

Even 1st ed had pregens. It's just that could you shift stats a bit to get a bit of different focus.

Honestly I haven't read over the new rules yet. Just enough to know they changed slightly the premade adventure to be less ass .

But Feng shui is pretty good and much funner and solid version of WoD without the stupid edge and fetish bullshit

On the upside, there is this site... when one can find players.

Which happily does not appear to have been a problem in this case.

I expect I'll submit a character after thinking about it, and possibly watching more Revengeance footage..

EDIT: Never did get to play Feng Shui, but the book was on my shelf for over a year before moving house and it was certainly seemed like a blast.

What are you referring to in the last part?

Are many of those system translatable for PBP on this site, I wonder?
