How am I to regularly message someone of I want to rp alone with them?

You need to have at least 10 posts to be able to do so. You gain posts by posting anywhere but forum games, private messages and workshop. I believe posting anywhere else goes towards the count. Then you can private message people via clicking on their picture.

And to add to what Bubble said, you need to allow some time for the system to recognize you have 10 posts. It may take about 15 mins or so.

Ah yes these factors that we are talking about apply to Private Messages.

If you want to just respond to someone's thread, then you can do that right away, but it won't be private.

You need to have ten posts, and be a member for at least 24 hours. Then you can private message somebody
