Please use a picture that could be found on official documents (if possible). I understand this isn't always possible so I'm not going to be too strict here. If there are multiple pictures of the same character and one fits better, but you prefer another then there is a space blow where you can use the picture you would prefer. This should go without saying, but try to make the picture taller than it is wide. There are also optional categories. If you do not wish to fill them out then simply delete them. Instead of age I have elected to put "standard age" in place. This takes the average lifespan of your race and breaks it down by one hundred, so birth is still 0, but the average age of death for your race is 100. Because of this you may feel the need to break your age down with fractions or decimal points, so feel free. You do not need to finish your bio immediately. Once you are at the point of joining the mercenaries stop and I will invite you to a private message where we can discuss how you joined. When this is done everyone can edit it into their CS. To use this format, press reply, and delete everything before [h*] and after [/accordion*].

Skills
Please list out your skills. Organize them how you see fit. I also want a section for weaknesses. Make them real weaknesses too, not something like "girls and food."
Gear
This includes all weapons, additional gadgets, etc. Basically if there is a piece of technology they use then list it here.
Role with Crew
This does not need to be super specific. For example, mine is pilot and mechanic.
Other
This is the optimal location to place additional information regarding your character that does not fit in other sections. If you have additional pictures of your character then this is the place to store them.

Dex
f7fdb90ff6e72fc9bb40c6bebc4dff97.jpg

Race: Unknown
Standard Age: Unknown
Height: 6' 1.5"
Weight: 208 lbs.
Gender: Male
Personality
Personality: Dex is often described as a bit obsessive. He gives his full attention to his projects, leaving him a bit hostile towards those who interrupt. Otherwise Dex is usually quiet. He is friendly enough with those he trusts, but still does not speak too often. He does not always understand sarcasm and is very literal himself.

Bio: Dex does not remember his early life. Beyond a few fragments, his first memories are waking up in a bio-technical institution. He was told there was an accident and he would die without his cybernetic implants. His right hand was missing entirely and his nerves were only working because of the technology now implanted in his body. As he recovered he discovered he is slightly faster and stronger than the others around himself. He felt like he was being tested more than led along a path to recovery, so he began digging. It turns out the people who made him a cyborg are private military contractors and they are attempting to make super soldiers though cybernetic implants. He now had to question everything he knew and fled as soon as possible out of self preservation. During his research he discovered that, while the scientists called him Gamma, he was the third iteration of the Dex program. The previous two had died after rejecting further implants.

He found his way to a well populated planet and found work as a mechanics assistant. Here he learned much of his skill. He grew quite skilled and began modifying his own implants. While his mentor felt confident that Dex was capable enough to take on the business after he retired, Dex had doubts. He was horrifyingly disfigured and had to hide in back out of public eye. Besides, the company that made him was probably still looking for him and he couldn't risk that. Instead he worked to buy his own ship. It was a small ship to begin with, but if he could do some jobs on the side as well as keep up his current one then he could get a real one. After 9 planetary years he left to work as a mercenary. He had built his first suit, so no one could turn him down for his disfigured appearance. As he worked as a mercenary he learned it wasn't really needed in this line of work, but he still feels self conscious and refuses to take off his mask. While not his intention, he picked up various crew mates along the way, giving them each a private room to use.
Skills
Dex is a genius mechanic. He maintains the ship and tries to keep it in peak condition. Beyond that, he tinkers with just about any piece of technology he can get his hands on. He has upgraded his own suit many times over and has specialized his crew's technology. While not as amazing as he is with building tech, he is pretty good at hacking it. His hacking skills are formidable, but he is far from the best. He is also an expert pilot. He owns the Nexus and spends the most time piloting it, especially if there is special maneuvering that needs to be done. Beyond that, he is an expert flyer in his suit. He is pretty good at melee combat, but that is only so useful.

He is not the best as stealth. His suit is far from clunky, but it is not quiet or discrete. He is also not a great marksman. He carries guns with him like most, but can greatly improve his aim.
Gear
Much of his suit is actually built into his body. He designed the rest to work with the preexisting parts. His mind has direct access to the suit to control it, though there is still an interface on his left forearm. He uses his suit to directly access other computers. It also has it's own system that he uses to help him. The large visor on his helmet allows him to visualize problems, such as maps and blueprints. The suit contains a few hidden weapons that he uses in tight situations. His hands can also produce tools to help him build.

His favorite addition to his suit is the wings. They fold up neatly on his back, but can extend to give him flight in space, the sky, and even water. He has proven an expert at maneuvering with them.
There is nothing special about his pistols. They shoot plasma capsules like most. They can be automatically reloaded by his suit.
latest

Dex dual wields homemade energy swords. In an age where guns rightfully rule combat they aren't overly useful, but he's proud of them none the less. The do also have some practicality with their ability to cut through most materials and almost all metals.
379c56d30e89eb175cdf39fe730cc27c.jpg
He can generate an energy shield from either arm. These can be manipulated in both size and shape. In extreme cases he can expend extra power to create a complete bubble around himself.
Since Dex is constantly building he ends up with a few miscellaneous pieces of equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, graviton grenades, repulsion grenades, VR Charges, actual grenades, and scouting bots.
The Nexus is the name of the ship. While he has no problem letting his teammates live in the ship with him, it is still his. For a bit of scale, the front section of the ship is the cockpit. The rest is used for living and ship necessities.
15y7x4z.jpg
Role with Crew
Mechanic/Pilot
While he owns and flies the Nexus, he is not the leader of the group.
Other
His full name is Dex III, but he dislikes the second part.He can remove much of his suit, but some does not come off. The bottom part of his helmet can be removed to eat, revealing a heavily scarred human-looking mouth. The rest of his helmet can be removed as well, but he only does so for repairs or upgrades and never in the presence of another being. Due to how much he relies on his cybernetic implants, he has installed a back up system in the event the main system fails (such as an EMP). This system is resistant to electromagnetic pulses and only runs critical systems.

Maximus
king-arthur-ew-1374-cover-612x380-145339.jpg

Race: Human
Standard Age: 32
Height: 6'5
Weight: 200 pounds
Gender: Male
Personality
Personality: Maximus is a simple man who has a extremely dark and bloody past, once apart of a noble family on a lush, fertile planet, he was exiled for the murder of his own brother in a blind rage. His rage issue grew more and more, eventually forming almost a personality of its own, and when he went into a rage, he either was incapacitated or killed his foe, no quarter, no mercy. When not completely loosing his mind, he is much like a kicked dog, afraid of even himself, and can be found staring at his hands mostly, remembering the wet, warm drip of his brother's blood pouring over them.
Bio: Maximus was exiled from his home for the brutal murder of his brother, and from then on through himself into the life of a mercenary. He stole one of the palace guards new prototype suits when he was being exiled, and has patched it together for years, making it work and never giving up.
Skills
Maximus's skills include a extreme knowledge of his suit and its capabilities, as well as being a experienced and battle hardened hand to hand combat fighter. He is extremely physically fit and a bear of a man, making his weight and size quite imposing, and intimidation much easier. On the down side, he is extremely vulnerable when he looses his mind, to traps, killing his allies, and even throwing himself into suicidal situations. He suffers from extreme PTSD and is scared of even himself, making him unsure and not leadership material.
Gear
He wears a B-26 Prototype suit which was stolen from the Balanc palace guards, some of the most elite soldiers in the universe, or were until the entire planet was invaded and squashed. The prototype suit was eventually scraped due to extreme over heating, and Maximus's is no exception, when run hard and in combat for days at a time, the machine will overheat and explode, other than that it has some of the newest in shields and weapondry. Including a massive laser broad sword which Maximus uses to great results. He carries a pistol at his hip, and a string of grenades across his chest when inside the suit..
Role with Crew
Maximus is for sure a security officer/enforcer. He knows quite a bit about mechanics due to having to constantly patch up his suit, and a bit about exploration as well.

  • Blackout was born a criminal. During her school days, she had learned tricks to use against others and stole from them, stealing things such as phones, money and some rather important documents. She had a history of gaining illegal permission to the school system to change her grades as well as other offenses and eventually, she was kicked out at 1st year high school where she had caused an entire power outage in the area. She never returned home ever since, knowing that her parents wouldnt want her around anyway. Wandering aimlessly for a good few days, she was approached and was given the offer to be used for a scientific experiment that rewarded handsomely. Having nothing else to lose, she accepted. Blackout was taken to a military facility where they tested different augments on her, some resulting possibility and some...not so much.

When she left the facility, her reward was the glasses she wore to this day. The original prototype. They had told her that it was defective and didnt work any longer, but given her expertise in technology as proven in her younger days, she managed to repair the glasses. She created the node that sits in her brain currently as well, injecting it into her head herself.

I appreciate the effort you put into this, but it is a small mess when you reach equipment and skills. It is also lacking information I have deemed necessary for an accepted character such as: appearance, height, weight, bio, weaknesses, and role with crew. And, again I appreciate what you are trying to do, I did set up a format I wanted all applicants to use so please do so. You can still use your red text above everything else. My advice would be keeping Blackout as the "title" of the post, but mentioning her real name in the Other section. For the sake or limiting confusion, please add the descriptions that accompany pictures in the same spoiler (i.e. combining the first two spoilers). One last thing just to make it easier on me, please just use the default text color for the majority of your post. Darker text colors are more difficult to use with the site's Night Life setting (which I use). The default text on this setting defaults to a light grey. Thanks.

Sergi
bf4b7031a37d1904c21ed86f8e5c70ee_zps76iqt9rw.jpg

Race: Somanderian
Standard Age: 26
Height: 5'6
Weight: 98 pounds
Gender: Male
Personality
Personality: Sergi is very suspicious of almost everybody, usually being the first to pick up on signals that the group should back out of a deal, which are mostly just ignored due to his almost-no one-should-be-trusted attitude. He holds grudges like it's some sort of competition, and it is very rare that he will forgive someone after being betrayed, and nearly impossible for him to trust them ever again. He is loyal, and will hold companions and family over just about anything, until shown that he should do otherwise. Sergi is also as stubborn as a mule, only a handful of people able to change his mind when he has it set to something, but is all in all friendly, or at least civil, to his ship mates, although he finds it difficult to stay out of their bubbles if interested in something they are doing, a trait he gained from growing up on a ship that held the population of a rural city.

Bio: Sergi was taken into slavery at the young age of two after Kuab ships had landed on his tribal-like planet, taking hundreds of his kind to trade amongst the highest bidders for manual tasks, exotic 'pets', and for other unthinkable deeds. He was lucky enough, if you can call that lucky, to have only been sold to one client before being freed. He was sold back onto another slave transport ship at the age of three after his 'owner' had found that he was "Too wild, and hard to train", which it in itself had given the young boy several scars on his back, the pink a sharp contrast to his blue, the scaley-skin never growing back where the wounds were inflicted. While the ship flew to bring the slaves in the cargo bay to an auction, the ship was attacked by a ship of ship hijackers, who easily took control over the space vessel, many of the slaves being killed after being used as meat shields for the Kuabs, which helped a handful escape of emergency pods. Sergi's cage had been thrown onto the floor during the whole ordeal, his face smashing into the cage's field-door, the small toddler letting out a wail as blood rushed down the new crack in his head. The cries caught the attention of the captain, Bahu, who had come to check out the noise, finding the small alien, and releasing him from his cage. Sergi clung onto the Velike(A species that resembles large and muscular humans with distinguishable Tiger like features and markings.) after that, and Bahu, although unwillingly at first, began to raise up the alien boy, who grew up to be one of his most useful ship-hatch openers/cargo bay infiltrator. Sergi was separated from the ship, and Bahu, after a hijacking gone wrong at the age of 19, which resulted from a crew member ratting them out to the quadrant's law enforcers. Sergi was able to get away by escaping through an emergency pod, but hasn't been able to locate Bahu since, as the Velike, unbeknownst to Sergi, is locked up tight on a prison planet, the prisoners being under constant sedation to keep them from escaping the highly secured facility. He ended up joining the Nexus crew after doing a stealth mission for some quick cash, sticking around after a few more jobs. Sergi still looks for Bahu, but has since made being a crew member on the Nexus his top priority, although he's trying to convince himself he didn't just join to keep his mind off of it.

Likes: Water, cold rooms/areas, open spaces, his adoptive father, and a variety of iron rich foods and drinks.
Dislikes: Large crowds, small spaces, Kuabs(A durable alien species known for their involvement in slave trades), and hot/dry environments/planets.
:
Skills
Sergi is fast thinker, quick on his toes, and reflexes that would make who the humans call "SpiderMan" jealous. Thanks to his adoptive father, he has the agility, climbing skills, and reflexes of furred feline, without the downside of being fearful of water. Thanks to his species' larger than normal lungs, Sergi can hold his breath/swim underwater for up to ten minutes at a time, and his swimming ability can compete with a small fish. His eyes also allow him to see in dark spaces that would make it near impossible for other species to see their hand in front of their face. He also has a knack for busting open a variety of locks, and has a basic knowledge of hacking a small variety of technology, his skill depending on how advanced the technology actually is. Sergi is also fairly good at hand-to-hand combat, not the best, but enough to keep him alive, and specializes in a variety of knives, preferring to kill in a silent, effective, and stealthy manner.

He does terribly against a large number of enemies, and guns are a danger to his allies if one if in his hand, as he never learned to shoot properly, and had a couple of incidents where he almost blown off his own hand, or shot off a partner's foot. He does not fare well in hot and dry climates, as his skin with quickly dry out and fall off, leaving open wounds that are prone to infection, and large scab areas that make it uncomfortable or painful to move certain parts of his body. His species has to intake large amounts of iron in order to avoid iron deficiency, meaning he has to have a large intake of iron rich foods, such as fish, and/or iron supplement pills or else he becomes weak, dizzy, and prone to infection/illness as his immune system weakens. Sergi will begin to freak out if in a small room, having had panic attacks on several occasions when he was younger, and will become distressed if around a large group of people, although he will likely keep this bottled up until he is able to leave. His species also have a slow healing process, taking several months to help a small wound that wound take a human only a few weeks. He has to take nano filled capsules in order to speed up his healing process if the wound is too large/life threatening.
Gear
Sergi uses a variety of knives in order to perform any needed stealth kills, ranging from throwing knives, to the one given to him by his adoptive father in order to cut through thick skinned species(First picture)

Role with Crew
He is used on stealth missions, and to infiltrate places(Ships, rooms, ext.) for the crew, and to deliver items when on odd jobs, especially if the drop off is on planets that are covered in mostly, or all, water.
Other
Sergi, like most of his species, have a weaker immune system than most other species, so he tends to wear a face mask, specifically designed to kill bacteria, when off ship, or when one of the others catches an illness. If Sergi does have an infection, the skin around and on the infected area will turn a dark purple/black color, and the skin will become extremely sensitive, making a slight brush against it painful. He tends to have cat like tendencies, such as resting on high places, being a light sleeper, reacting to sudden movements, stretching after waking up, and hissing/growling, which can intimidate some if they weren't used to his canine-like teeth. His tail is cut off a little over half way, which resulted from a metal door slamming shut on top of it. He can also speak/understand multiple languages without the use of his translator implant.

Race: Robot
Standard Age: 70
Height: 6'5
Weight: 558
Gender: Male
Personality
Personality: Xell is well not your usual robot. He’s blunt and straight to the point when serious. He also doesn't care what anyone thinks of him. With that he also wise and caring when it comes to his crew. To anyone else he can be rude, slightly sarcastic at times, and cheap/greedy… Actually he is also like that to the crew a lot to.
Likes: Oil, money, his crew mates sometimes, his guns, and a good fight.
Dislikes: large amounts of water, paying a lot of money, and his crew mates other times.
Bio: Once a robotic forman way back in the day close to the beginning of humans mining on asteroids. He was going to get a regular A.I. made for his robotic type but after a bad mixes up he ended up with strange prototype A.I. The mining companies owners didn’t know about it until Xell began demanding pay and rights for… Well just him really. But still the company didn’t know what to do with a robot demanding pay. So they shut him off and dumped him into junkyard. He was inactive for a very long time until a rogue lighting bolt struck his body. From their he repaired his body and replaced the parts take from and left the junkyard before anyone knew a thing. Soon after he found work making and fixing weapons for a black market dealer...
Skills

Xell is a skilled mechanic, not good more complicated wiring or high tech software but when it comes to the shell and more basic parts of ship he can help repair things fairly well. When it comes to guns through he has a gift. He maybe from his strange A.I. or another source but he has special talent making and upgrade guns, be on ships or your hands. He even hand made his own weapons and his skills are show in full with them.
He also fairly skilled in combat, being able to as a regular hunter. Given that fact he also is three times strong than a human man with body made withstand a cave in he can deal very good damage outside a gun fight. Finally he has a bit of leadership skills, from his time as forman. He may not be the most charismatic leader but he knows how to get a job done.
Of course he not the type hold back in a fight or with words so he can definitely make another angry fast. Also being a huge robot he is terrible at stealth missions or being stealthy at all.
Gear

His body may be old but it was made to last. It was made to handle cave in and small explosions, being the fact he was a asteroid mining robot. The only few down sides to his robotic body is it’s lost it waterproofing over time and he needs to be charged every twenty four hours or have his main battery replaced by one if his crew members.

This hand cannon is a heavy revolver. This baby was banned on several planet because of the recoil it gave off, busting hands some times. But Xell modified to get rid of a bit so it wouldn’t cause as much recoil while only take away some of it’s power. Through no one without a steel skeleton should still try to use.

Ayla is a bit more on the extroverted side. Incredibly social, its not hard to get along with her. Ayla rarely gets discouraged and accepts challenges where they come. She has a large passion for technology, creating, destroying as well as exploiting it. She always find some fun in everything she does, even her work. She can be rather lazy and if she can help it, she'd rather stay back and control things from behind the scenes rather than being there herself

Bio: Her interest of technology sparked at an incredibly young age, given the fact her father was a repairman of sorts, working on the sub-space trains. Initially on accident, she managed to find her way onto the darknet. Ever since, going on the darknet was on purpose. Her interest in technology took a more negative turn as she learned about the wonders of hacking and exploiting, people doing such acts to gain something of immense value. She kept her newfound interest a secret for a good amount of years until it came to her later school years. Growing desperate to change her grades, she exploited the school network, but was caught just a few minutes after. She was expelled from her school and served time in jail. To pass the time, she paced around the room many times over and over until she was given some random parts to tinker with, allowing her to sit still for once. Those parts included some glass, a battery and some random computer chips. It didnt take Ayla long to fashion a small computer that she used to bring the prison down, cutting out its power. From there, she lived a life of crime, taking jobs here and there under the alias "Blackout". (insert nexus relationship here)
Skills
She doesnt do too much fighting, preferring to sit behind a screen. She's one of the few most feared hackers. From remotely controlling a massive ship to the collapse of an entire power grid, she can do it. She has put practice into hand-to-hand and gun combat, but mainly for self-defense purposes rather than offensive purposes. Accepted as is.

Griff
bounty-hunter.jpg

Race: Human
Standard Age: 28
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 70 kg
Gender: Male
Personality
Personality: Griff is a hyperactive punk, as he is described by most people who hire him. His head-on tactics, both in business and in combat, gives him a menacing look, a rough, cocky attitude, and a bad reputation. Or at least, that's what his accomplices tell him. Since he was a kid, he was raised with the idea that 'if you want something, go take it.' and lives by that idea in almost every decision he makes. His aggressiveness is therefore only a side effect of his ideals.

Likes: Melee weapons, ranged weapons, incendiary weapons, tanks, armor, salty food.
Dislikes: Sweets, cupcakes, cakes, vanilla ice cream, weapons jamming, broken weapons, dead teammates.
Bio: Griff was born in a small urban area on his home planet, called a 'triffy-villa'. His fellow humans did not give him a last name, for they were a very very distant colony which was locked in an endless brutal war with other members of the colony, for reasons lost to time, and so the society there considered last names to be a luxury, since most men will die before they even 'earn' their last names anyway. At the standard age of 9, he had been taught to operate a gun and a melee weapon. At the standard age of 17, he was flung into the conflict, at the frontlines along with members of the same age. He fought well and hard, rising above his peers, and was put in charge of a sizeable unit.

During this one battle, where there was a three-sided deadlock from 3 colonies fighting over an urban area rich with minerals and material goods, called "Quiddytown", Griff and other members of his unit were sent in to investigate a certain "hangar". Inside, they had found one of the few remaining space-worthy ships on that entire planet. Seizing the opportunity, they had holed up inside that very hangar, and, using the combined intelligence of the entire unit, managed to repair the spacecraft back to reasonable condition before being found out by the rest of the colony, including friendly units. The unit fought long and hard for their survival, at the chance of escape. In the end, only Griff made it out.

Only barely making it out of orbit under intense gunfire from the ground, the now 19-year-old Griff ventured into space, drifting across planets, discovering new things before finally being snagged by a certain mercenary, who would later introduce him into the gun-for-hire business. He did many many jobs, most of them the same thing: kill these guys, don't kill these guys, kill these guys so they don't kill those guys, stop those guys from killing these guys. He excels at what he does, however. On one job, he stumbled upon this other mercenary with a really cool suit, and a few friends he had made on the way. Griff decided to tag along with this man, seeing as he is successful, and brings a lot of interesting jobs to the table. He has his own ship, too, which Griff finds to be very neat. And cool.
Skills
Griff is a talented fighter, with moderate proficiency in almost all known types of weapon, and does not hesitate to pick up new weapons. He has a knack for learning how to kill things, and adapts quickly to a combat situation. He excels in using semi-automatic rifles, his tap-firing being legendary back on his home planet. He also has a hobby of collecting melee weapons, and uses them excessively. He specializes in an old type of weapon known on Earth as a kusarigama.

He has weaknesses, however. Due to his 'experience' on his home planet in the endless war, his tactical skills are next to none, charging head-on against machine guns, playing peek-a-boo with enemy snipers, staying in exposed positions, etc. He is also very scared of flamethrowers and chainsaws, as his encounters on his home planet during the early raids on his triffy-villa have scarred his mind, and he loses his will to fight whenever an enemy wielding these weapons are sighted on the field. It takes all of his courage for him to stand and fight against these weapons. He has also never heard of the word 'stealth' until he left his homeworld.

Griff's favourite weapon has a 30 round magazine with select-fire and a built-in 2x scope capable of zooming. It fires a very abundant and cheap round, but is rather ineffective against armored enemies.
latest

His favourite melee weapon, that he carries with him at all times. The entire thing has been reinforced with various alloys he found and "borrowed" from dead enemies on the field.

An advanced helmet he looted off a dead enemy high ranking official on one of his operations. It provides him extra head protection against concussion and debris, and occasionally, bullets. It has a HUD inside, and gives him more tactical awareness (not that he needs it). It also deals damage to the enemy's morale from its menacing looks.
Role with Crew
He's a fighter, and he also specializes in fixing weapons and equipment. He can also give basic orders, but they are usually unhelpful.
Other
He hopes that he could one day return to his homeworld and free his people from the horrid war. Little does he know, his homeworld is already "free".

Maximus
king-arthur-ew-1374-cover-612x380-145339.jpg

Likes: (optional)
Dislikes: (optional)
This does not need to be super specific. For example, mine is pilot and mechanic.
Other
Maximus is for sure a security officer/enforcer. He knows quite a bit about mechanics due to having to constantly patch up his suit, and a bit about exploration as well.

As I've said in the private message, I will accept your character once you fill out the role category. The RP has officially started, so I advise doing so sooner rather than later.

Narzel
0323cebf7f21049a769c9461707ac092.jpg

Race: Cri'vadon
Standard Age: 36
Height: 6'2''
Weight: 98kg
Gender: Hermaphrodite
Personality
Personality: Being one of the few, if not the only Cri'vadon in what they call "The Outside", Narzel is known to be reliable and independent. As a Cri'vadon, Narzel is also considered to be an isolated, cold, exclusionary type; relationships do not come to her easily. She is apathetic and somnolent, with little desire to put in any effort into meaningless discipline, or activities. Despite this, she does seem to have curiosity and a strange fascination towards The Outside, its people and their technology. It was this 'fascination' that led to her exile.

Likes: The Outside's species and technology; Cold environment; Experiments; A good fight.

Dislikes: Hot environment; Pollution; Reptilian species.

Bio: Narzel came from Cromivarum Prime, the capital world of the extreme isolationist Cri'vadon Ascendancy in the far side of the Outer Rim. When Narzel was young, she used to look at the cloudy, raging sky of her frozen, barren homeworld and wondered what lies beyond the clouds. The strict and brutal society of the Cri'vadon had no use for dreamers. When Narzel reached her mature age, she was appointed to designated facilities for training. Her talent with the blade and various types of ranged weapons was soon recognised, and so she was offered a position in the Silver Order, the most influential and powerful military order within the Ascendancy. Although she enjoyed authority as well as a luxurious life compared to the majority of her people, Narzel was never truly satisfied.

One day, a protest broke out in the middle of the Capitol. Young Cri'vadons who had embraced their curiosity to learn about The Outside rose against the ruling aristocrats and their isolationist mindset. Soon, the initially peaceful protest turned violent. When the gunshots rang out, the Capitol sunk like a rock into chaos. Narzel turned away from the close-minded, stubborn aristocrats. They fought valiantly and stood their ground for the next 10 years. The protest turned into an outright civil war. Narzel quickly became an important and popular figure in the rebellion for her skills in combat and her keen mind for strategy. It is rumoured that she alone defeated 5 elite Silver Guards, her former comrades, in melee combat.

Not all rebellions have a happy end with a victory to the people, however. Their struggle was the case. In the end, important figures of the rebellion were forced to go into exile, so they could return and free Cromivarum Prime when the time is right. Her comrades dragged her into a sarcophagus, a cryosleep pod that provides all the needs for the occupant to survive long-range space travel. They forced her in, despite her begging them to let her make her stand with them. An entire regiment worth of men sacrificed to protect the unmanned craft carrying Narzel's sarcophagus during the launch sequence.

When Narzel woke up, she found herself in an alien salvage rig, far away from home. These aliens had picked up the drifting unmanned craft and recovered her pod. They brought her back to civilisation, teaching her the common tongue, the trade language and taught her The Outside's knowledge and information that would assist her. But halfway, she learned a disturbing truth, that these aliens were going to sell her to the blackmarket. A Cri'vadon was a rare sight for many outside the isolationist Ascendancy. So when the salvage rig docked for supplies in the orbit of a planet, she escaped using one of their escape pods.

It was quite ironic, but after the escape from the aliens of the salvage rig and evading their attempts of capturing her, Narzel found herself ending up in the blackmarket. During a confrontation with some mercenaries sent by those aliens, Narzel's skills impressed one of the mercenaries. He helped her escape the aliens by lying about her death, and led her into the mercenary business. Knowing the languages commonly used in The Outside combined with her natural talent, Narzel soon earned some reputation in the darknet. She also developed her fascination towards human and other alien technology in the blackmarket, where almost all the exotic goods are available. But despite all this, wearing a menacing appearance due to the fact that she required her suit to co-exist with the species of The Outside, Narzel never felt like she truly belonged here.

Narzel made some friends, including a human, a 'hyperactive' young man who accompanied her during some operations. One day, the young man stumbled upon an interesting mercenary group, which appeared to be quite successful. The man invited Narzel, and so she ended up on the Nexus with the man, hoping from here, she would feel like she had a home.

Skills

Narzel is a talented fighter, and most noteworthy for her stamina and melee combat capability. Her skills with the blade is virtually unmatched by most humanoid alien in The Outside that she'd met, focusing on swift, decisive thrusts and slashes. Combining with her talent with the blade is her excellency in martial arts, with a strong focus on minimising the advantages of larger, stronger opponents through kicks, throws, and holds. She could also handle ranged weapons.

Narzel possesses an unique organic material native only to her homeworld. This material perfectly mimics whatever tissue it comes into contact with, making any flesh wounds a speedy recovery. Is used for medicinal purposes, to heal wounds almost immediately, although it will sting, a lot. It also leaves a scar, that can be treated with more organic material for it to go away.

Narzel also has fume dischargers custom built within her suit that allows her to disperse said organic material in the form of a pink mist. The pink mist will slowly heal everything in its radius, albeit at a slow rate. With quick adjustments, the pink mist can quickly stick to everything within the radius, forming an organic layer of armour. It also works as a binding agent, as a substitute for glue.

Her weaknesses mainly involve heat, as the average temperature for most humanoid species alone is already considered too high for the Cri'vadon to survive in. Although her suit could withstand a considerable amount of heat, she is still very scared of hot, molten planets as well as flamethrowers. She has fear of her suit would malfunction if it meets a certain amount of heat, and so she avoids most operations involving 'hot temperature'.

Gear

Since their homeworld is reported to be a frozen, barren world, the Cri'vadon are largely thought to have developed their suits in order to co-exist with outsiders. The suit is entirely made of a highly durable organic material that seemingly 'grows' from a 'base' on Narzel's back, as it is said that the Cri'vadon 'grew' their technology from the ground. The suit offers the wearer incredible maneuverability, while protecting the wearer from hostile environments and could withstand a reasonable amount of firepower. The organic material of the suit could also regenerate itself, and pumps a variation of this material in liquid form into the wearer's body through tubes to heal wounds.

Her firearm includes a particle, anti-material rifle that holds 8 shots. It is highly effective against armoured opponents and fortified enemies.

Her versatile machine pistol has a 25 round magazine and could be fired automatically or semi-automatically. It fires a very cheap projectile rounds, but is rather ineffective against armoured enemies.

Her favourite weapon that she carries around all the time. She made the blade herself using an indigenous alloy on Cromivarum Prime. Highly durable, it cuts through most basic types of armour with ease. Under the blade is a small, yet lethal single-shot rifle, that fires high-velocity rounds.
Role with Crew

With her possession of the unique organic material that could be used to heal even certain fatal wounds, Narzel would be useful with a supportive role. Her skills in melee combat and ranged weapons would also make her an effective fighter.
Other

A devastating interplanetary war between the Cri'vadon and an extraterrestrial empire happened millennia ago, resulting in the state of Cromivarum Prime today, as a barren, frozen wasteland. The war also caused a serious decline in population of the Cri'vadon Ascendancy. As a result, most Cri'vadon underwent genetic modification for species survival, turning most Cri'vadon 'hermaphrodite'.
