The Patrons, Cryptids, Stories, and Songs of Red Haven

Herein lies the names and identities of a menagerie most foul.
For centuries, the port city of Red Haven has been an unofficial bridge between the magical trickery of the Fae See and the industrial corruption of Widersia. Gangs, crime, gambling, and other vices have flowed through its streets at a near-constant rate. Those who had no future in either nation came here to make illicit fortunes and reap the rewards of vanity. Over the course of its existence, countless organizations have risen and fallen in cyclical fashion. The inexhaustible bloodshed allowed for a veritable gateway of terror to open as individual criminal warlords inevitably established themselves in a far more… permanent fashion.
Therefore, the Patrons of Red Haven came to be.
Although not truly immortal by any means, the Patrons nevertheless exercise freedom beyond most imagination. They have little to fear other than the schemes and machinations of their rivals. Time and again, these devils have wrought catastrophe and carnage - but they are, without a doubt, the deciding factor between stability and anarchy. Without them, Red Haven would eat itself alive. With them, it is a slow and cruel fate; but at least it is business as usual.

The Districts
"Maps of Red Haven are often obscured by what is actually there.
Working clockwise, the layout is thus:
The Clubs District harbors the largest concentration of gang violence in the city, though most of it is kept private thanks to its most powerful Patron: Flint Samson. There's no sense in scaring off the locals or visitors.
The Hearts District possesses the highest percentage of casinos found in Red Haven, each one a testament to greed and misfortune. Its mightiest Patron is Rico Fuentes, a man whose avarice truly knows no bounds.
The Diamonds District is where most start out amidst the dazzling spectacles of tourist-friendly shops, theaters, and markets. Giovanna Fontana dominates here, owning the majority of all income.
The Spades District is where the dead come to life... and dance with the living! Tobias Munroe is master here, using his musical necromancy to bring the spirits of the dead back from oblivion to enjoy the never-ending party once more.
Finally, at the beating heart of the chaos, is The Devil's Playground. Rumored to have been the birthplace of Red Haven itself, it is a strange and ominous island rising from the river the city sits upon. No one has been there for almost 100 years, yet the lights are always on and music is always playing from beyond the high walls.
Mephisto himself has long toyed with the reality within Red Haven. He has his own District, separate from the others and yet inexorably intertwined and responsible for innumerable horrors. His domain is that of The Ninth Circle, a shifting miasma of sin and depravity that appears just as quickly and inexplicably as it disappears."

Wake up and smell the ashes
Enjoy the day
Before it all comes crashing
Down in the gutter
Squirm and sputter
Drowning in rainwater
Never-ending blood and torment
Oh a gallant good old time
Every day
Down Clockhaven Way
It's the place to be
When you're in the See
It's a ghoulish delight
Phantasmagoria
In the shadow of Widersia
Come say hello
Stay forever
Or a little while
And don't forget to smile
