Soon a maid came to Marianne’s room to escort her to the ceremony, along with Adelaide.

Maya and Mia were brought to a stage that had been set up in the main courtyard of the castle for the ceremony, the king and prince sat in the throne chairs that had been place at the back of the stage while Marianne and Adelaide were already present and waiting, they all could see many other servants flitting about finishing some minor details.

Ranni, Dru, and Thindro were close to the front of the stage, having avoided all the guards and servants they managed to leave the castle proper without anyone being the wiser, but commoners were still not allowed within the castle walls, so maintaining a stealth spell Ranni kept the 3 of them hidden from sight.

Adelaide kept her head down, quitely followed behind her mistress Marianne as the maid showed them the way to the ceremony. She kept herself in the sidelines at the ready if her mistress needed her. She only slightly picked up her head to look over at the two other girls that were brought in. Maya and Mia and placed on stage next to her mistress. She got a horrible feeling in the pit of her stomach seeing Miandiya stand at close distance to her mistress Marianne and how she acted as if what she had done had not happened.

Maya looks around as she admires the setup. She nods approvingly. "Niiiiiiiiiice."

Adelaide kept her head down, quitely followed behind her mistress Marianne as the maid showed them the way to the ceremony. She kept herself in the sidelines at the ready if her mistress needed her. She only slightly picked up her head to look over at the two other girls that were brought in. Maya and Mia and placed on stage next to her mistress. Adelaide returned the small smile back to Miandiya before adverting her gaze back down to the ground. The brunette quietly kept to the sidelines as the ceremony commenced, she quietly listened and ever so slightly looked up to see what was going on. She was surprised as she could only guess the whole kingdom was to the prince's disisions. At that same moment, she knew her mistress would be greatly upset. Looking up and over to her mistress Marianne she saw that complete anger in her eyes, one that she has seen before. At that same moment, she noticed the knife in Marianne's hand and how she looked towards Miandiya and headed towards her. Without much thinking, Adelaide left her post and quickly moved over to her mistress grabbing ahold of the dagger aimed for Miandiya. The girl held on to the dagger with all her might. Small vines wraping around the blade of her own hand and the hand of her mistress. "I'm sorry mistress but you can't....I won't allow it.." Adelaide quietly but firmly spoke.

Marianne grabbed Adelaide by the throat and held her up, keeping her feet from the ground. “After everything I’ve done for you, you decide to keep me from my holy mission! You will pay gravely!” Marianne yelled at her before taking the knife to her back, and with a quick movement, sliced through her shirt, and severed her wings from her back leaving them to fall to the ground. She then threw Adelaide to the side before turning back to Miandiya with the bloodied blade still in her hand.

What is the meaning of this?!” Xander shouted

“It is none of your business princling, this is personal to me and doesn’t concern you” she replied

“Wrong, this is my kingdom, and you are under my laws, and I do not condone the actions you have just taken to that poor girl” he stated

“Oh silly boy, your rules mean nothing to me, you are a pathetic little human” she cackled

“So are you willing to start a war between our people by acting someone under the protection of my kingdom?” He asked

Marianne just laughed and looked at Miandiya “well my dear niece, it seems I must reunite you with your parents much sooner!!” She shouted and practically leapt at her before being knocked back by a magic shockwave sent by Ranni.

“Reveal yourself assassin! Drop your disguise and show us who you truly are!” Ranni shouted

Marianne grinned and looked at everyone before stopping on Miandiya “well then, guess you’ll have questions after this” she cackled again before dropping her disguise, revealing to everyone who did a collective gasp to be reveal as Lady Seraphinne, High Priestess of the elven order before teleporting away.

She glared at her as she leaped over, Miandiya prepared to draw her own blade out but saw Marianne get knocked back. She didnt say anything when it was revealed who it really at first. "You are not my family, stop calling me your niece. Chieftain Berkute and the sun elves are my family." She but her blade away and rushed over to Adelaide figuring Seraphinne would just run and not make another attempt.

And here she found her self quickly over taken by her mistress, so much for her heroic act. What happened next happened both quickly and in slow motion in Adelaide's mind. She cought a large breath as Marianne let go of her neck and quickly turned her around. In a quick movement she felt the back of her shirt and dress get cut open, her bound wings coming lose and now being exposed to those in the room. The shot glimpse of her wings did not last very long because what happened next was nothingbut sheer excruciating pain. She yelled out as her wings were cut clear off her body. She was then thrown to the side hitting the ground in a thud of a bloody mess.

Adelaide cried out in pain as she fell to the ground. Back exposed, old scars mixed with blood adorned her back as she laid motionless on the ground. The fairy slowly came in and out of consciousness as she felt the presence of people surrounding her body. She was unaware of what else was happening around her.

The fairies wings seemed to be taking Drus healing magic as they start reattaching themselves. The wings began to sparkle and then lightly glow. The light coming from the wings grew in intensity, the light was blinding as it expanded. Then they poofed exploding into a multicolor glittering dust.
