Appearance: Looking at Natalie, it is hard to believe that she ever was a he. Stunningly beautiful, Natalie attracts attention wherever she goes. Her body is lankly, but still portioned in the right places. When she moves her body, it is easy to see the toned muscle that resides underneath her skin. Her hair is a natural strange mixture between blonde and brown, something called bronde. Natalie dresses in a fashionable, but expensive style befit of her job as a supermodel.
There are some remnants of Nathan within Natalie. While hormones and surgery can repair many things, one thing that it could not change is her height. She stands to a tall 6 feet, and with her broadish shoulders she can make quite an imposing figure when she wants to. Her body weighs roughly 147 pounds, but can fluctuate to within a few pounds of that number.

Major Skill:
Networking is Natalie's major skill in life. No, not plugging cords into and out of the back of computers, but people networking. She has the ability to remember the most important details of a person and apply those details in conversation. This ability has allowed her to create contracts, relationships, connections and opportunities that she never would have been able to get otherwise. It's safe to say that once Natalie Berry knows you, she never forgets about you.
Minor Skill:
As a child, Nathan was encouraged to do martial arts, given his ineptitude in all sports with a ball involved. Despite her gender change, martial arts is something that Natalie stuck with as she transitioned, believing that both men and women can be great martial artists. She is a black belt, but thankfully she's never had to use her skills outside of the gym.
Character Flaws: Natalie has grown accustom to the life of luxury, glamour, and influence that she has acquired. In a way, this has only served to feed her sense of self-importance. To Natalie, it is either her way or the high way. She's not going to sit idly by and let someone else push her around. It should be no surprise then that Natalie typically performs poorly when put in a team scenario, particularly when she has to follow too.

Metahuman Theme: Natalie's hair is alive. Well, not really, but it sure can seem like that. Natalie has the ability to manipulate her hair, using it much like a monkey uses their tail as a fifth limb. To Natalie, using her hair is no different than using her arm. Each strand of hair can act like its own appendage. She can easily perform complex tasks with her hair from grabbing ledges to sewing clothes. Even more insane things are possible, for example, she can snap her hair forward like a whip or rotate it like a fan. She has no nerve endings in her hair, but she can feel sensations on all parts of her hair mentally.
Her hair is strong. To be specific, each strand of her hair has more tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, and shear resistance than a iron wire of the same thickness. While her hair normally only comes down to her shoulders, Natalie can instantly grow her hair up to twelve feet in length. She can also, at will, shrink it down to a smaller size, all the way down to bald if she so desired. It takes literally seconds for this change to happen.
The longer Natalie's hair grows the weaker her overall hair goes. The difference from 6 feet in length to 12 feet in length is a loss of 20% strength overall. A whole head of her hair can lift about 3,300 pounds. Part of her hair must be used to anchor herself as a brace so lifting heavy objects does not break her neck or make her fall over.

Natalie can control the individual strands of hair on her head like individual appendages or coalesce them together, performing a wide variety of feats and tasks.
Ability 2: Hair Extension:
Natalie's hair can rapidly shrink or grow in length, up to 12 feet. This happens in seconds.
Ability 3: Hair Strength:
Natalie's hair is super strong, capable of lifting up to 3,300 pounds with all her hair at once. Her hair can also be used defensively, even stopping bullets.
History
Nathan Rockchester was born to a simple, boring middle class family in Megapolis. There really wasn't anything noteworthy about his family's life. His father worked, his mother stayed home and watched after him, and he did the normal kid things.
The only thing at that young age that was an oddity about Nathan was his hair. It had quickly grown long, down to his shoulders, and became thick, hard to cut even with scissors. In fact, as his hair grew thicker it became necessary at one point to literally saw off his hair, using a saw of course. Even then, his hair had grown back the next day.Nathan hated his hair. The other kids at school teased him, calling him a girl. In a way, Nathan hated their teasing, but it also had an underlying truth to it, which made him hate it even more. There was a part of him that hated the fact that he loved it when they called him girl, that deep down he didn't feel like a boy.
Still, children are anything if not stubborn, so Nathan continued on with life, until he reached the age of sixteen. By this point in his life, Nathan had already discovered his ability to manipulate his hair, but his parents were extremely strict about him using it, forbidding it both at home and at school. It was at this age that Nathan finally accepted the truth he had been rejecting: he was a she.
It was in this time of transition that Nathan, by happenstance, came across Lauren Shacem. Lauren, at the time, was Nathan's gender therapist, but she was no ordinary therapist. She saw in Nathan the chance to make him big, really big, when in therapy he revealed to her his powers. Already, Nathan was going to make a beautiful girl, but the powers added another level. There was something wonderfully magical to Lauren about watching his hair dance around his head. She could see then what Nathan couldn't: he was going to be a megastar.
Lauren finally made Nathan an offer: if Nathan came with her she could make a him a pop icon, a supermodel, a fashion star. To someone like Nathan, who all his life had dreamed of things like that, it was like his dreams were being offered to him on a silver platter. Of course, he accepted, and his parents grudgingly relented.
Two years later, Natalie Berry took the world by storm in her first runway debut. She had everyone talking, a transwoman and a metahuman. Normally, people would have discriminated against her, and there were some who tried to discriminate against her. The media, though, was engrossed by her dazzling hair, looks and charm. Lauren Shacem became Natalie Berry's agent, and together they made sure that all of Megapolis knew of the polarizing Natalie Berry.
After a few years, Natalie Berry the supermodel became Natalie Berry the TV Personality, landing an Oprah-like day time talk show. While it never became the #1 day time talk show, partly due to those who refused to watch a metahuman, she kept a respectable viewership at #2 and began to open up other enterprises like her own product line. Some time along the way, perhaps because of her obvious pro-metahuman views, Natalie became one of the voices for metahumans, although she tried to shy away from any such implication or suggestion. While she embraced he metahuman inside of her, she was reluctant to embrace her "brethren," trying to prevent more discrimination from coming against her. It was a tight rope to walk.
Natalie wasn't content with the day time talk show for long, and she began to look at something she had begun to crave: power. Sure, she already had some influence, but she wanted real influence, real power that only the law could give her. So the campaign began to elect Natalie Berry for Megapolis Alder(wo)man. Whether or not it would be successful remained to be seen.
Personal
Motivation: Natalie doesn't want to be just known a pretty face. She wants to have power, actual power, to change things her way. If she has her way, Natalie Berry will be a name that kids learn in the history books next to greatest and most powerful people of all time. Mothers will line up in the streets for her to simply kiss their babies, and every young girl will want to be like her. There is a part of her that wants to really make an impact for the better, but power for power's sake is her main motivation.
Profession: Supermodel, TV Personality, and running for Megapolis Alderman
Interests and Hobbies: Natalie loves having the latest and greatest. Shopping has been one of her favorite things to do for a long time. To her, there's nothing more thrilling than spending a day trying on different dresses and outfits to find that diamond in the rough piece of clothing that will make her already large wardrobe. Natalie can sing quite well, not anything good enough to be an all-star singer, but she can at least sing in key and in time. She loves to sing the songs that come on the radio or hum along with them, depending on her mood.
Common Behaviors and Mannerisms: Natalie seems to be always touching or messing with her hair in some way, usually moving it around in some interest pattern or design. When she is thinking hard, she has a habit of tying her hair in a knot around her index finger, which can come across a slightly ditsy.
Personality: Natalie is a bright, intelligent, ambitious woman, with a strong desire to get what she wants, when she wants it. She's not necessarily known for her tact, sometimes acting like the old phrase "a bull in a China shop." While she might get angry and frustrated at set backs, to her they are just that: set backs. Her determination tends to prevail, even in the face of many failures. Part of it is due to her selective memory when it comes to her past failures, remembering only the positives and not the negatives.
Despite the fact that Natalie knows something about almost everyone, she isn't one to idly gossip.
While Natalie is generally a pleasant person to be around, known to crack a light joke or two, she is known to be overbearing when it comes to things in her life. She's dated a few well known men (and women) of Megapolis, but in the end they all fell through. The fact is that while she seems quite personable and open to the media and the public, she struggles with confiding and trusting in others in private. One former boyfriend even quietly remarked after they broke up he was surprised she wasn't an ice metahuman.
Opinions: Natalie is firmly of the opinion that she will one day be the mayor of Megapolis.
