Medieval Fantasy Rp

Her eyes widened, and she quickly covered her mouth, looking away from the rather disturbing scene. She stared at the ground, silently praying for the best

Darius smirked, "Alright ugly..let's do this.." As if on cue the beast roared and charged and Darius did the same nimbly dodging the beasts swipe with its paw, and counter by slashing its hamstrings causing it to stagger. The beast recovered quickly slamming itself into Darius knocking him back. While Darius was attempted to regain his composure the beast swiped at him, He narrowly avoided it and delivered a devastating counter by chopping the beasts leg off and quickly followed by quickly beheading it. The beast went still and the corpse exploded into dust as Darius panted lightly.

She quickly stood up and ran over to him.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" She quickly stammered, gently putting a hand on his shoulder, not sure quite what to do

He sheathed his sword and smiled, "i'm fine really.." he took a moment to assess her making sure she was ok, other then a few minor scratches and his shirt being slightly torn from when he pushed her she was ok physically ,but asking never hurt "Are you ok...?"

"I'm more worried about you. I'm fine- but you were the one fighting." She huffed, a small pout crossing her face

He smiled, "I'm fine. Really. Look for yourself if you don't believe me." He found her pout cute and stepped back creating a fireball so she could look him over and see for herself that other then a few scrapes and bruises he was fine.

She sighed.

"If you say so..." She muttered, sitting back down. She averted her gaze from hi, staring at the ground instead, still pouting

He noticed her sullen nature and sat beside her, "Hey...what's wrong? That was easy compared to what I'm normally up against..." he playfully nudged her with his elbow, "Besides I was protecting a pretty lady." He smiled trying to cheer her up.

He smiled, "You look pretty good to me. And I peeked when you were changing." He laughed playfully, "I said I'd protect you and I did, so cheer up, or I might have to kiss you." He teased her.

"Ow..." he mumbled rubbing his forehead smiling, "You seem really upset about it." He laughed standing up looking out the doorway, "We may be staying here for the night."

She nodded. "I'm fine with that." She giggled, undoing her bun, her light brown hair forming in small wavy curls around where she sat

"Good luck with that." She giggled, laying down and gazing at the ceiling. "Say... Darius? That is your name right?"

"Yeah that's right." He called out while scavenging through the barn, and with a sigh come back empty handed and sat beside her

"Hmm..." he thought laying back beside her putting his hands behind his head, "Yeah...why leave the castle?" He looked over at her curiously.

"Sure, it's my home, but I never let you do or see anything. They would always tease you by giving you great books on the wonders of the sky or what things you can see outside. I never really got to experience that, so of course it got boring." She sighed. "Next?"

"Ok...What do you think of me? If we are gonna be travelling together. I wanna make sure your not gonna stab me in my sleep." He said with a playful wink.

She laughed. "C'mon. I like you. I'm not going to stab you!" She laughed, rolling over on her stomach, and gazing at him. "Next?"

He was taken back, but took a moment to think, "Well she has to be funny...cute...brave...loyal..intellectual...and have a taste for adventure, she has to be able to pick a sword and kill five demons and then come tell me suppers ready." He grinned blushing lightly. "I'm really just wanting someone to stand with me through all I go through daily." He looked at her and without thinking brushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear and asked,"What about you?"

She giggled, and gently leaned her head into his hand. "I asked for a person in general, not a lover. But it works." She giggled. "But... Hmm... I guess someone who'd support me. The kind of guy who'd stand by me. So---I guess we're kinda looking for similar people." She grinned
