I am a newbie who has never roleplayed as a narrator and just started my first roleplay. It's a classic medieval fantasy setting with dungeons, leveling up, item drops from monsters, and character classes.

I won’t be creating an official lore for this roleplay, as I want to keep things simple. The world will follow the classic, generic themes of this genre. However, I welcome your ideas on how you envision the fantasy world if you decide to join and roleplay here.

Here is an example of tier system that will be used to rate progress of roleplayers(each roleplayer can have their own custom class I will make for you):

Great Weapon Warrior Power Tiers

Tier 1 – Novice Warrior

  • Basic training with two-handed weapons (greatswords, battle axes, war hammers).
  • Can block weak attacks with their weapon but has little defensive technique.
  • Attacks are slow but strong, requiring stamina control.

Tier 2 – Trained Fighter

  • Can perform stronger, more precise strikes with two-handed weapons.
  • Gains the ability to parry and deflect some attacks with their weapon.
  • Can use basic combat techniques like a powerful overhead smash or a sweeping strike.

Tier 3 – Seasoned Warrior

  • Strikes become faster, and stamina efficiency improves.
  • Can block arrows and weaker spells with their weapon.
  • Gains access to special techniques like shockwave slashes and armor-breaking strikes.

Tier 4 – Warbringer

  • Can withstand and counter heavy attacks from stronger foes.
  • Can use advanced combat techniques, such as whirlwind slashes and ground-shattering strikes.
  • Gains limited resistance to magic, reducing spell damage taken.

Tier 5 – Battle Master

  • Can use powerful charged attacks that send shockwaves through the battlefield.
  • Defensive capabilities improve, allowing them to withstand multiple attacks without staggering.
  • Gains the ability to temporarily enhance their weapon with raw energy, increasing cutting power.

Tier 6 – Warlord

  • Can fight for extended periods without tiring, ignoring most pain.
  • Strikes can now break through magical barriers and heavily armored foes.
  • Gains access to battlefield-wide attacks, sending destructive waves of force with each swing.

Tier 7 – Titan Slayer

  • Can shatter the ground and structures with their strikes.
  • Can briefly enter a berserker-like state, massively increasing speed and power.
  • Gains access to an ultimate attack—an earth-splitting, sky-rending strike capable of cutting down even the strongest foes in a single blow.

The air was different—crisp, clean, and filled with the scent of wildflowers. A gentle breeze whispered through the tall grass, making it sway like an endless emerald ocean. Luna slowly opened her eyes, blinking against the golden sunlight filtering through soft white clouds. She was lying in the middle of a vast green field, the land stretching endlessly in all directions. In the distance, nestled between rolling hills, stood a medieval city, its towering walls and stone buildings glistening under the sun.

She pushed herself up, her fingers sinking slightly into the cool earth beneath her. The weight of the claymore strapped to her back was unfamiliar yet reassuring, as if it had been waiting for her all along. Her new body felt stronger, her muscles firmer, and as she caught a glimpse of her reflection in a nearby pond, she couldn't help but stare. Her once-dark hair now shimmered like liquid salmon, and her glowing blue eyes held an otherworldly depth.

Luna took a deep breath. It was just like the stories she had read—the moment when the protagonist arrived in another world. But this was real. The world around her was alive, the distant calls of merchants and chatter of people spilling from the city beyond.

She had been given a new beginning.

Adjusting her grip on the hilt of her claymore, Luna took her first step toward the city, ready to uncover the fate that awaited her in this unfamiliar land.

Luna's heart raced with anticipation as she continued her journey toward the bustling city. The sounds of merchants calling out their wares, horses clopping along cobblestone streets, and the laughter of children playing filled the air, growing louder with each step she took. Her curiosity piqued, she imagined what wonders awaited her in this medieval fantasy world.
As Luna approached the city gates, she marveled at the sight before her. Towering stone walls loomed overhead, guarding the city with an air of ancient majesty. The gates stood open, welcoming travelers and traders alike. Guards, clad in gleaming armor, monitored the entrance with keen eyes, ensuring the safety of those within.
Luna hesitated for a moment, a mix of excitement and apprehension swirling within her. She took a deep breath, adjusted the unfamiliar yet comfortable garments she had awoken in, and stepped confidently through the gates into a world that seemed both alien and familiar.
Inside, the city was a vibrant tapestry of life. Stalls lined the streets, overflowing with colorful goods. The rich aroma of freshly baked bread mingled with the scent of exotic spices, enticing passersby. Craftsmen displayed their wares with pride, while performers entertained crowds with their talents. "Woah..." she said to herself, "this is awesome..."

Notice:
Luna possesses a powerful blessing that allows her to understand and speak any language of this new world fluently.

The city was alive with energy. The cobblestone streets bustled with movement, as merchants called out their wares, children darted between stalls, and creatures of all kinds mingled in the marketplace. Luna found herself mesmerized by the sheer variety of people—elves with sharp, graceful features, stout dwarves with thick beards and powerful arms, beastkin with twitching ears and tails, and even towering reptilian warriors whose scales gleamed under the sun. Some were undeniably cute, with wide eyes and small frames, while others looked fearsome, their armored forms giving off an air of menace.

Yet, thanks to her blessing, she understood every voice around her as if she had been born into this world. Conversations wove through the air in countless tongues, but none were foreign to her ears. It was as if the languages of this realm had always been a part of her.

As she wandered through the city, a large wooden structure caught her eye. Unlike the polished stone buildings around it, this place had a rugged charm, its sturdy oak beams and carved insignia giving it a distinct presence. A massive wooden sign hung above the entrance, the letters bold and clear:

Adventurers' Guild

Luna’s heart quickened. She had read about places like this in countless stories. A place where warriors, mages, and mercenaries gathered. A place where one could take on quests—slaying monsters, collecting rare herbs, and exploring the unknown. Most importantly, it was a place where she could earn gold and begin carving her own path in this world.

Luna stepped into the bustling adventurers' guild, her heart pounding with anticipation. The room was alive with energy. Warriors with gleaming swords, mages with mysterious staffs, and rugged mercenaries filled the space. The air was thick with the smell of leather, sweat, and burning candles, and the sound of clinking armor and hushed conversations echoed off the stone walls.
Luna approached the large wooden counter at the front of the guild hall. Behind it stood a stern-looking man with a bushy beard, wearing a tunic emblazoned with the guild's emblem—a silver dragon coiled around a sword. He looked up as Luna approached, his eyes scanning her with curiosity.
"New here, are you?" he asked, his voice gruff but not unkind.
"Yes," Luna replied, trying to sound confident. "I'm looking to join the guild and take on some quests."
The man nodded and handed her a thin booklet. "This is the adventurer's guide. It'll tell you everything you need to know about the guild, the rules, and how to get started. Fill out this form," he added, sliding a parchment across the counter, "and we'll get you registered."
Luna took a seat at a nearby table, her heart racing with excitement. As she filled out the form, she took in her surroundings. Adventurers huddled over maps, exchanging information and planning their next quests. A notice board on the far wall displayed an array of quests, each one promising adventure and opportunity.
Luna's mind raced with possibilities. Each quest was a chance to prove herself, to learn more about this world she had been thrust into, and to uncover her own hidden potential.

-------------------------------
Narrator.
Luna’s fingers tightened around the wooden badge she had just received—her official proof of being an adventurer, even if it was the lowest rank. The letter "F" was engraved into the surface, a simple but undeniable mark of her starting point.

The guild receptionist had explained the basics to her. F-rank adventurers were expected to take on low-risk jobs: herb gathering, simple monster exterminations, escorting caravans along well-traveled roads, or even assisting in odd jobs for townsfolk. It was the foundation upon which all adventurers built their careers, and though it was humble, it was where everyone began.

Now, standing before the quest board, Luna’s glowing blue eyes scanned the parchment notices pinned to the aged wooden surface. Some were written in neat script, others hastily scrawled, but each represented an opportunity.

F-Rank Quests Available:

  • Goblin Nest Patrol – A group of goblins has been spotted near the outskirts of the city. While not yet aggressive, they could become a problem. The guild is seeking adventurers to investigate and report back. (Reward: 8 silver coins)
  • Medicinal Herb Collection – The local apothecary is in need of specific herbs that grow in the nearby forest. Collect and deliver them. (Reward: 5 silver coins)
  • Lost Dog – A nobleman's prized hound has gone missing. The owner believes it ran off into the wooded area east of the city. (Reward: 3 silver coins + potential bonus)
  • Giant Rat Infestation – A tavern's cellar has been overrun by giant rats. Clear them out and ensure it’s safe. (Reward: 7 silver coins)

Luna felt a rush of anticipation as she considered her options. Each mission, no matter how small, was a step forward—a chance to test her strength, earn money, and begin making a name for herself in this world.

Now, she just had to decide which quest to take.

a man noticed himself laying under a tree before, rubbing his eyes as he started coughing. after getting used to the air he finally opened his eyes. seeing a city infront of him but where was he "weird" mike said to himself before standing up "is this a dream? god my boss is gonna kill me" he said as his hand grabbed the katana on his waist with muscle memory that he didnt know he had "well if its a dream then now its a lucid one. maybe I should go kick my boss's ass" he said not taking the going into another world seriously, it was still like a dream to him

noticing the town from a bit far he started walking into the town, checking his bag for looking what he has

The warm sun cast a golden hue over the rolling fields as Mike took his first steps toward the distant medieval city. The sight of towering stone walls and bustling activity beyond them was surreal, but it still hadn’t fully sunk in that this was real. His fingers absentmindedly brushed over the hilt of the katana at his waist, a weapon that felt strangely familiar in his grip despite never wielding one before.

His bag, slung over his shoulder, contained a set of basic supplies—some dried rations, a flask of water, a simple map with no labels, and a pouch filled with a handful of copper and silver coins. His armor, though lightweight and functional, wasn’t anything fancy—just enough to give a beginner a fighting chance.

Before he could fully take in the peaceful scenery, movement in the grass caught his eye. A small, fluffy creature darted toward him at an alarming speed. At first, it looked like an ordinary rabbit—until he noticed the sharp, spiraled horn protruding from its forehead.

The creature let out a high-pitched squeak and lunged forward, its tiny feet kicking up dirt as it aimed straight for Mike’s legs.

"A horned bunny? Seriously?" Mike muttered, shifting his stance instinctively. His mind was still convinced this was some bizarre dream, but that didn’t mean he was about to let himself get tackled by a rabbit.

His hand tightened around the hilt of his katana as he prepared to deal with his first “monster” in this strange new world.

"what a weird guy" mike said before pulling out his katana, taking a good look at it before he closed his eyes for a moment, somehow he kinda knew what his capabilities were as he took a deep breath, channeling a weak fire effect onto the blade as he ran forward, trying to cut the creature from under its body

The horned bunny let out a sharp squeak as Mike's flaming katana sliced clean through its underside. The air filled with the scent of singed fur as the creature collapsed onto the grass, motionless. The fight had lasted only a moment, but the strange sense of muscle memory that guided Mike's movements reassured him—he could fight in this world.

Then, something unexpected happened.

The bunny’s body began to glow faintly before breaking apart into tiny motes of light. In mere seconds, it vanished completely, leaving no corpse behind.

In its place, a small shimmering item materialized on the ground. Mike stepped forward, eyes narrowing as he bent down to inspect his unexpected reward.

[Horned Bunny Pelt] (8 copper coins) – A soft but durable fur taken from a horned bunny. Often used in crafting simple clothing or light armor.

It wasn’t much, but it was something. His blessing was already at work, ensuring that every battle would yield a reward.

The city loomed in the distance, waiting for him. But now, he had a taste of combat—and the reality of this world was beginning to settle in.

"ooooh so its like a game" mike said before grabbing the pelt "cool but I wonder when will I wake up" he said as he placed the pelt into his bag with proud, still walking into the city as he yawned, placing his sword into its place "damn this feels so real... too real" he said as he wanted to look around the town a bit while thinking "hmmm selling this pelt may be a waste, if I can collect some more I will nake a cool hat" he said as he looked around for a place to get money

saltymelon saltymelon Mike wandered through the city streets, taking in the sight of stone buildings, glowing lanterns, and the chatter of townsfolk going about their evening. The scent of roasted meat and freshly baked bread filled the air, making his stomach grumble. The cobblestone path beneath his feet felt solid, too real for a dream, yet the thought lingered in his mind. As the sky darkened, the warm glow of a nearby tavern caught his attention. The wooden sign creaked slightly in the breeze, and the muffled sound of laughter and clinking mugs spilled from within. A place like this had to be good for getting information and, more importantly, figuring out how to make some money.

nikoneko10 nikoneko10
mike looked at the tavern with a smirk "I bet 25 coppers that there is an old guy waiting to give some quest" he said going into the tavern as he sat onto a chair, placing his bag next to him while he stretched his arms a bit before seeing a waitress "oh hey ummm I wanna get some bread and whatever that smells good" he said before he started looking around for someone that can have some kind of adventure for him while he waited for his meal. he also quickly checked if there was a game-like menu he can open by pressing his every body part with his hand

saltymelon saltymelon Mike blinked as a glowing menu appeared before him, floating in the air like a hologram. It displayed his name, class, and the amount of coins he carried—100 silver. His current power tier was listed as Novice Spellblade. The sight made him grin. This really was like a game. Before he could get lost in experimenting with the menu, the waitress arrived with a wooden tray, setting down a plate of bread and a hearty meal. He handed her 25 copper coins, watching as she gave a polite nod before heading off to another table. With a simple thought, the menu vanished from sight, letting him focus on his food. As he ate, the warmth of the tavern, the sound of laughter, and the scent of ale made him feel more at ease. It might not be a dream, but at least the food tasted real.
INFO FOR SALTYMELON: Quests are recieved at the adventurers guild not in tavern. Latest information about items in your inventory: 99 silver coins and 75 copper coins left. Items you got from monster hunting: [Horned Bunny Pelt] (8 copper coins)

nikoneko10 nikoneko10
"wohoo its like a mmo!" he said before he payed for the meal, quickly eating it with pleasure as he thought to himself about a plan after finishing his meal he opened the menu again while walking around the city again trying to find a guild or a quest board that appeared in his games since if he wanted money he knew he could fight for it

saltymelon saltymelon Mike spotted emblem of the adventurers' guild—a silver dragon coiled around a sword—hanging on a wooden sign above the entrance. The building had a sturdy, well-worn look, a place where countless warriors and mages must have passed through. Without hesitation, he stepped inside, greeted by the lively atmosphere of adventurers chatting, planning, and boasting about their exploits. His eyes locked onto the receptionist’s counter, where a guild worker stood ready to assist newcomers. Without wasting time, he approached, eager to take his first step into this world of quests and rewards.

nikoneko10 nikoneko10
mike leaned onto the counter infront of him while he smiled "heyyy! you probably know the drill by know dont you, I need money and adventure you need money and some shit done so how can I get some quest around here?" he asked as he checked the area to see what kind of people were there, he might have to ask for help if he gets a hard mission after all he thought

saltymelon saltymelon
Mike’s registration process was quick, and soon enough, he was officially an F-ranked adventurer. With his new status, he made his way to the quest board, where various parchment sheets were pinned, each detailing different tasks. His eyes scanned the options available for newcomers like him:

  1. Gather 10 Healing Herbs – The local apothecary is running low on essential medicinal plants. The herbs grow in the nearby forest, but beware of aggressive creatures that may lurk there. (Reward: 20 silver coins)
  2. Hunt 3 Horned Rabbits – Farmers on the outskirts of the city are struggling with these aggressive creatures attacking their crops. Their hides and horns are valuable, making this a profitable task. (Reward: 15 silver coins + additional coin per hide sold)
  3. Escort a Merchant to the Next Village – A merchant needs a bodyguard for a short trip to a neighboring town. Bandits have been sighted on the road, so caution is advised. (Reward: 30 silver coins)
  4. Retrieve a Lost Pendant – A noble’s daughter lost her precious pendant near an abandoned shrine in the forest. Strange rumors surround the area, but the reward is generous. (Reward: 50 silver coins)

With his choices laid out before him, Mike had to decide which quest to take for his first real job as an adventurer.

nikoneko10 nikoneko10

mike checked the quests infront of him with his hand on his katana's handle while he smirked "ok ok I need some pelt for that cool hat so why not" he said choosing the three horned rabbits guest, opening his menu to see if the quest is there for him to see "after the hat I would go look for that girls stuff, 50 silver looks good!"

saltymelon saltymelon
Mike chose horned rabbits at the farm in the outskirts of the city. But it was already late. So he went to the inn, rented a room for a night, and paid 1 silver coin.
Mike has 98 silver coins and 75 copper coins left.
The next morning, when Mike woke up, he went to the outskirts of the city to the farm where the horned rabbits were. He was guided by the mini-map of his class menu he discovered earlier. Soon, he was at the farm and saw a big group of horned rabbits. There were five of those rabbits.

nikoneko10 nikoneko10

mike yawned before pulling out his katana thinking it would be easy for him "oh there are two more. Im getting that hat as fast as possible" he said as he quickly jumped towards one of the rabbits that were closer to him, trying to do a slashing move as he didnt wanted to waste his energy with elemental channeling, he started to make an ego since his first hunt was so easy

saltymelon saltymelon Small pack of five rabbits surprised Mike with their coordination. His low experience became obvious as the rabbits darted around him, their small yet sharp horns jabbing at his legs and sides. Each time he tried to slash at one, another would strike from the side. His first fight had been easy, but this was different. These creatures weren’t just dumb beasts—they were fast, and they worked together. The pain of their strikes started adding up, forcing Mike to step back and rethink his approach.

nikoneko10 nikoneko10
mike jumped back while holding his legs "ugh!" he felt the pain and the blood going through his fingers before he standed up "t-this... isnt a dream?" he said as he grabbed his katana from the ground, fearing for the first time since he was in this world before he channeled fire element into his katana "if this isnt a dream... I aint dying to a few rabbits!" he said as he tried a wider style of slashes while he tried keeping his distance

saltymelon saltymelon
Mike took a deep breath, his grip on the katana tightening as the fire magic coursed through the blade. The rabbits lunged at him again, but this time, he was ready. With each slash, flames trailed behind his weapon, forcing the creatures back. One leapt at him, aiming for his chest, but he sidestepped and cut through its side, the burning edge slicing deep. The rabbit fell, its body vanishing in an instant, leaving behind loot.

The remaining four attacked in unison, but Mike was adapting. He slashed in a wide arc, catching two mid-charge and sending them tumbling before they disappeared. The last pair tried to flank him, but he quickly turned, driving his katana into one before spinning to take out the final one. In just moments, the battle was over.

Breathing heavily, Mike sheathed his katana and pulled out a potion from his starter pack, drinking it down to ease his wounds. With his injuries healing, he collected his loot: 7 horned rabbit pelts (56 copper) and 5 rabbit horns (5 silver coins).

Returning to the city, he made his way to the adventurers' guild. Upon turning in the quest, he received his reward: 15 silver coins for the completion, plus silver coins for selling the extra hides and horns.

Mike's new total: 119 silver, 31 copper(EDIT: Fixed coin sum).

Syan Syan AtrociousFinn AtrociousFinn JUST INFO: you both have classes now. You are of course at 1st tier. We already have in total 3 players and 1 narrator(me). You of course should RP with each other and even narrate yourself when you RP together if you want. But read prices list I posted before as well as appoximetly what items are dropped from monsters considering that all of you have strong drop rate blessing(item drops should be good but not GODLIKE please). You would also consume potions of all kind when you are on your 1st tier in class when fighting monsters. Remember that you are weak 1st tier. saltymelon saltymelon You can also write how you moved to location where you wanted to do this quest: "
  1. Retrieve a Lost Pendant – A noble’s daughter lost her precious pendant near an abandoned shrine in the forest. Strange rumors surround the area, but the reward is generous. (Reward: 50 silver coins)".
Then I will narrate when you get to that location.

The eerie silence of the abandoned shrine was broken by the low growl of a small grey wolf. Its fur bristled as it crouched low, muscles tensed, eyes locked onto Mike with an intense focus. The air around them felt heavy, as if the place itself carried an ominous presence.

Then, in an instant, the wolf sprang forward with startling agility, closing the distance in a blink. Its sharp fangs sank into Mike’s arm, pain jolting through the fresh wound. The beast didn’t linger—after landing the bite, it swiftly retreated a few steps, circling once more, its tail flicking with anticipation.

A light breeze rustled the trees, carrying the distant echo of an owl’s hoot. The shrine stood tall behind them, its worn stone surface covered in moss and vines. Somewhere in this forgotten place, the noble’s daughter’s lost pendant remained hidden. But before Mike could think about searching, the wolf remained in front of him, preparing to strike again.
Mike’s latest inventory after buying a potion:
118 silver, 31 copper (after spending 5 silver on a healing potion).

MY REQUEST FOR YOU: I don't want to sound rude but its too early for you to narrate yourself. You also in the future need to buy several healing potions. 1 potions is not enough for adventures. With your item drop rate blessing you will always have enough money.
