I love mechs and I think they are strong. But can we use other vehicles, or spacecraft?

How big can they be? Are frigates or destroyers okay?

Keep them the size of about a modern day air plane. Too big and they won't fit on the hangar.

As long as you keep them around the size of a modern air plane, you should be good. Though I don't see much use in those, seeing as most of the battles will take place in space .
