Mei smiled over at him as she opened the window. "Thank you, and it does indeed. I have lived for a long time... Much longer than any human. And most of that time I have spent in my village, training myself in all manner of things. I was trained much more rigorously than all others, even my brother.", as she spoke the piece of parchment folded itself up, into a sort of triangle shape. She held her hand below it, so it hovered above her hand, and took a deep breath in, closing her eyes, and blew onto it, and it shot out of the window, blowing as if in a strong wind.
She smiled softly, "I haven't done that since I was little...", she closed the window, still smiling as she continued.
"So yes, using my powers is sort of a second nature to me... It feels odd to not use them for long periods of time, although it cannot be helped in society like this...", she sighed.

Edora over heard the conversation between the angel and the shady man but paid little attention. She was getting rather tired herself and few some things to tend to tomorrow that required her utmost attention. The angel did indeed get the shop owner for her, and she was quite relieved that she didn't have to pay for the book. She was rather miserly after all. The shop owner was a rather weird man. He spoke to her in the same manner he spoke to the man he was obviously having relations with. She dismissed the oddity and put the book in her satchel before gathering her things and exiting. Her house was little ways off and she was soon home. It didn't have much in it and she didn't even have stairs, only pillars that allowed her to get to floor to floor. She put down the book and put away her weapons in the cupboard made especially for them and soon was curled up and asleep.

After bidding farewell Edora, Devdan locks up the shop door, before going upstairs. Going up to the room where everyone is, he hears Mei talk about her and powers and how society views them. Going inside he says "We cannot help how people view us, though it is our duty to show them we better than their assumptions" in a calm tone. Abraxas speaks up in his head saying "When they drag you in chains for execution I wonder if you will be so optimistic" with Devdan only sighing as his response. Such ideas had crossed Whitemore's mind as well. Putting away such thoughts Devdan says "Well as you no doubt know the night is drawing near, now there is not only this room there is also another room just through the kitchen" in a very calm cool tone. "I assume you can figure out the sleep arrangements already, there is still some soup in the kitchen if any of you require anything to eat," he says as he looks at his pocket watch. This had indeed and unexpected day and long day, though not a wholly unpleasant one. "Any questions oh and Mei could I speak with you about... the issue," he says referring to the incident of how he meet the Tengu

Mei nodded, "Indeed, we must be the better people. Oh, do not worry about finding a bed for me, I can do perfectly without. And I might have some soup later on, if it isn't too much trouble.", she smiled warmly, but sobered up when Devdan mentioned 'the issue'.
"Yes, we need to figure something out, it has been... a long time. But we did warn of this.", she sighed, but tried not to bring herself down too much. She had been preparing for this for some time now, discreetly. She didn't really want to ask everyone for that favour, as she had gone over it with them and explained what she may ask of them.
"Do you want to speak of it privately?", she wasn't sure if Devdan wished to keep it from the rest of the room, but she was okay with whatever he wished to do, although she wasn't too comfortable with Fayette listening in, being a child after all.

Devdan mulled over what Mei said before he responded: "Oh yes you can sleep on the floor and maybe we can feed you gruel in the morning" in a sarcastic tone. "But honestly if that is what you prefer then it's fine, and as for the soup whenever you like," he says with a caring smile and the richness to his voice coming through as he spoke. Said richness became much deeper as he remembered the events of his meeting with Tengu. "Yes we did make a promise after all, " he says in a lower tone. Going to the door of the room, Devdan says "We can discuss it in the kitchen if you want my dear" he says going back downstairs. Going behind the counter he pulls out some worn pieces of paper. Counting out to the kitchen, laying out the plans on the table. Plans for the labyrinth were they first meet.

Mei chuckled, she did enjoy his humour, she smiled mischievously back to him. "Thank you.", sobering up again, she nodded. She had always taken her promises very seriously, and this one was no different. She followed him to the door of the room, giving the occupants a kind smile before following Devdan out, and down the stairs, watching as he pulled out the paper, and followed again to the kitchen, studying the plans. "Is this what you committed to memory? I have a similar map hidden away also, I made it as soon as I got back, although there are some things missing, like some of the areas we were far away from.", she furrowed her eyebrows, it seemed perfect, from what she could remember.

As he waited for Mei, Devdan poured himself a glass a Malocen Brandy. The brandy started of silky smooth going down easy but with the last gulp, a hidden kick and fire were revealed. Placing the glass on a side, he looks up to his companion. "While I would like to boast about my skills, I managed to find these plans from a few traders," he says in an optimistic tone before it drops. "That, however, is it thought not one damn thing not one damn fucking thing about the place, the people who did it or anything," he says in anger holding his glass tight as he finishes off a glass before pouring another. "I would ask if you have found anything, though I must admit I will not get my hopes too high," he says coming across as condescending in his tone.

Mei raised an eyebrow at his drinking, she had never really taken to the stuff, much preferring the alcohol of her home to this place. "Indeed a lucky find.", she tried not to get caught up in his anger, she being calm and collected in even the most frantic situation, and instead patted his shoulder, offering an understanding smile.
"I haven't found anything per se... However, I happen to be in contact with others, who are willing to help.", she studied the map again, not finding much new. "I help people with traits that cannot be hidden as easily as ours, people who stick out and have nowhere else to go...", she smiled wistfully.
"I have learnt so much from everyone, some are knowledgeable of things far beyond civilisations advancement...", she grinned wider, her thoughts going to Blaze.​

Devdan slammed his fist down saying "So what you means is you don't know a thing about who captured us, who made that place or that g-girl" in a furious tone before Abraxas says "So she has done exactly as you have and turned up nothing but no just yell and break things to trusting one" in a condescending tone mirroring Devdan's. Breaking down with both his hand's place on the table he says "I'm I'm sorry I just, I don't want to think the worse of the poor girl, yet I can think nothing else" in a quavering apologetic tone. "Study the maps if you want I will retire my dear," he says taking his glass and Brandy upstairs. Going the past the room with the other he downs another glass before sitting on his bed. Th room is covering a lavish red wallpaper, with paintings artefacts of exotic and ancient qualities around the room. The bed is like that for a king, with pillows that are like that crafted from clouds. Yet out of all this, he seems to focus on a fairly ordinary ring, eventually picking it up and studying it.

Mei couldn't help but jump when he slammed his fist down, squeaking a little in shock. Almost as if it were responding to the fright she had, the pressure in the room rippled, as if it were jumping with her.
"S-sorry... Truly, there was nothing more I could do...", she trailed off. Of course there was more she could have done, but she was always busy, always working, and never had time. Her excuses were pitiful, and she knew it.
"I do not want that either, I wish for her to have been freed by some more able persons...", she sighed, trying to keep her head up and not spiral into a pit of negativity. "I can gain nothing else from them, sadly. Good night, Devdan.", she stayed in the kitchen as he left, her heart still pounding. Such a shock could not be taken lightly, especially for someone like her, who had to ensure the safety and protect everyone who lived under her home, relying on her.
After her heart had calmed down a little, she made herself a bowl of soup, which had cooled enough for her to be able to drink it down quickly, as she kept eyeing the maps. Even if she had said she couldn't gain anything more from them, she still wanted to double, triple check.​

Sophie walked into the upper room and leant against the wall absent-mindedly, she leant her head backwards and closed her eyes. She was disappointed in herself, she'd acted too hastily and Mei wasn't going to be happy with her. On top of this, she was allowing her emotions to run too much of her life, she was acting emotionally without thinking more and more, generally, in relation to the people she was staying with in Mei's safe house, and of course, Mei herself. She'd have to control herself, she was putting herself in danger, and worse, everyone who she cared about as well. Sophie lowered her head, looking around the room. She'd caught small snippets of what had been said but wasn't completely aware of what had been going on. She noticed that Mei had vanished, probably having gone downstairs. Sophie knew that she needed to speak with Mei, so she took a deep breath, and headed for the stairs.

Sophie found Mei in the kitchen, she walked in cautiously and quietly until she finally spoke. "I-I'm sorry Mei..." She said softly and guiltily.

Mei looked up as Sophie entered, only just finishing up her soup. "Do not worry about it, Sophie. We all make mistakes, the important thing is that we learn from them.", she was much older than Sophie, and therefore had much more life experience than her. So she could forgive her. "I too was rash and felt as if I could fix every situation. Of course I learnt the hard way that I was wrong.", she smiled apologetically at her, feeling bad that she was being so hard on her.
"You are your own person, I cannot dictate what you do, only advise you on what I feel is right.", she smiled again, and wahse dup her bowl, putting it back where she found it. "It would be a good idea to eat. The soup is nice.", she was back to her soft and calm demeanour.

(Yes, i get bored to wait morning. In worser cause I would be forced to suicide because i get bored, but i am ready to risk...)

Fayette startled to wake by hearing Devdan to slam table. Day had made her timid, fearing that someone would come to finish her at any minute. Fayette looked around room, seeing Sophie leaving and no sign of Mei. Fayette felt vulnerable alone with two stranger, even if one of them where wounded and sleepy girl.
Did Mei and Sophie abandon me to them? Fayette thinked
Fayette silently rised from bed, sneaked to door opening it and climbing down then from window outside of room.
At ground she looked around, but didn't recognize where she was. Outside of house was chilly, especially when Fayette didn't have clothes. Fayette made her choice and started running to direction that she thinked was way to slums, really in that direction was nobles living area and taverns.​

Gazer listened to Mei as she spoke and sent the folded parchment on its way. He had not realized that she was so far advanced in years and merely nodded as she admitted that using her powers came easily to her. He couldn't really relate. Seeing as he struggled to conceal his powers every step of the way. He was preparing to reply as much when Devdan entered the room and requested Mei's presence in private to discuss an "issue." Instead, he leaned back against the wall under the window and closed his eyes in silent contemplation. Everything had finally calmed somewhat and he had a plenty of time to sit and think about the passage of the day.

Gazer was in the midst of mentally sorting through the events of the day when the sound of Devdan's fist slamming into the table interrupted his focus, unexpectedly. He listened and watched as Devdan swept past to his own room and silence once again fell on the shop. His eyes were opened and closed to quickly, that he completely missed Fayette's frantic escape from the room, though he would have honestly assumed that she had gone to seek Mei out. Settling in again, Gazer returned to his contemplation and looked, for all the world, to be sleeping.

Sunshines lighter up alley where Fayette slept. Night has been horrible, not only there has been cold, but when dark has fallen couple drunk men had saw her. Luckily they had been drunk enought to not care ears and tail, but also they hadn't care about her opinion or struggle. After they had leaved, Fayette didn't anymore know where she was, it was new moon and she had never been at that part of town and less being outside of safe house at night. After wandering around little longer she had found alley and had lay down to rest.

Fayette waked up when someone thrown something to her from window, it stink awful, worser than what men at night had done to her. Fayette crawled to near puddle to wash even worse of stink away from her, as much she hated washing, smelling what stink poop, vomit and something else was worser choice in her mind. After quick wash she head out from alley and looked around, all looked unfamiliar and there wasn't any hints from what way she had come or how to get in slums or port. Fayette started wandering again, hoping to get out of sight before anyone would saw her.​

Mei woke from her resting place on the floor of the kitchen, where she had slept that night. She didn't really need a bed, as she could make any surface as comfortable as the comfiest bed, with only a thin layer of air between her and the floor, so little that it was hardly even noticeable that she was hovering off the ground. Uncurling herself from the ball she always slept in, she stood and stretched, looking around to see if there was anything different, or anyone else around.
It didn't seem like it, and the light of early morning was just filtering through the windows, telling her that she was up around her usual time. She decided not to bother with Zantoric customs or rituals, she only kept it up at home so that she was in practice, and just in case anyone was spying on her. Here, however, she didn't see the point, and was content to just stand in the kitchen, not to making any noise so as not to wake those still asleep.
Her thoughts going to those who were in the shop, and her thoughts rested on Zayn. He seemed to be having some sort of trouble with his identity... Thinking on that, someone popped into her mind. A person who she had not thought about for sometime, yet was always at the back of her mind. A man known as the Doctor, a scientist who most would consider mad and a fool, but she knew better. Because of his conviction to supernaturals, she had always kept an eye on him, but she had been slacking as of late, something she was now reprimanding herself of. Perhaps this scientist could help Zayn, and perhaps even Mei and Devdan with their own quest.
Making a mental note, she was decided on mentioning him to both men once they were awake.

Gazer rose from his sitting position carefully and stretched out his muscles, bending over backwards in the process. He didn't need to stretch, but it was a human thing to do after spending all night in one position, and it happened to feel really good. As he "prepared" physically for the day, Gazer made sure that he had mentally refiled everything neatly. Of the events that transpired yesterday, only a few of them left him with more questions: angels, Iskolde, and Devdan. Though I have the sneaking suspicion that I will forever have more questions with that man. Gazer reached down into his knapsack and removed a pair of sandals. He removed his sturdy walking boots and put on the sandals without allowing his bare, and perfectly maintained, feet touch the floorboards. Gazer did not have the greatest trust in his willpower to keep from purifying or cleansing things he touched with his bare skin; he doubted that the neighbors would overlook a building suddenly shedding layers of dirt, dust, and grime like a dog shaking off water.

Gazer decided to treat himself, and everyone else, to some rejuvenating tea, which he retrieved from his knapsack before turning towards the room's door. On his way out of the room, Gazer noticed that Iskolde was still asleep, and that Fayette was nowhere to be seen. He descended the stairs silently and entered the kitchen in the same fashion. He noted that Sophie was in the kitchen asleep just before nodding to Mei. "Good morning Mei. I noticed that Fayette was not in bed this morning and assumed that she would be with you. I, however, see that this is not the case. " He spoke so softly that it should have been a whisper, but Mei would have no trouble understanding him.

Once he'd taken a moment to get his bearings in the kitchen, Gazer began flowing around the kitchen preparing breakfast alongside the tea. He moved with angelic grace and poise, as usual, and anyone seeing him would think that he had been cooking in that specific kitchen for years and knew the location of everything up to the last dust bunny. With him moving through the kitchen so swiftly, one would think that Gazer would rustle up quite the racket, but not a single pot, pan, or spoon made more than a wispy sigh as they glided over and around each other without ever colliding.

Mei stood straighter when Zayn walked into the kitchen, and she smiled warmly at him. That friendly smile faltered when he mentioned Fayette. What had that child done now... "I... I was unaware that she had left. Which means she is most probably no longer within this establishment.", she sighed exasperatedly, "Unless of course she is hiding in some dark corner...", she contemplated this thought. There was no way that she was able to go after the girl if she had fled the property, and now her only hope was really that she would eventually turn up unharmed. "Well, in any case, there is not much we can do... Merely hope that she will find her way back. She is a street urchin at heart, after all.", she said quietly also, trying her best to keep quiet for the sleeping Sophie.
"On another note... There is something I have been meaning to... Well, both ask and tell you. Would you care if I spoke my mind freely on the topic once Devdan has arisen?", her mind was on the Doctor now.
"Ah, would you like help with anything?", she asked politely, offering help in assisting him with cooking or cleaning, however he seemed to need no help, but she felt it proper to ask anyway.

Devdan awoke as he did most days with a start and cover in sweat. While not ever present he had long had nightmares, most of past experiences, though this one played out more like an omen. Everyone.... their injuries. He shook the images from his mind. After getting dressed in a red suit with the amulet again placed on his wrist, Devdan headed downstairs towards the kitchen. Hearing the talk between Mei and Zyan, he entered as they mentioned his name saying "Well now I have arisen from my hellish slumber you make speak what you need to" he says with a smile, the part about hellish slumber meant as a joke due to his demonic blood. "I trust you two had ample sleep, and no I didn't see Fayette leave the house, though I trust she can take care of herself, though I must confess I have no idea why she would do something so foolish," he says with a heavy sigh. Looking over to Zyan "What's cooking good looking" he says with a smile of yes I really did just say that cheesy as hell lie. "How do you know so much about my pantry anyway?".

Gazer continued to move around the kitchen with ease and his comfort with cooking, and his company, became painfully apparent as his powers made themselves known. A snap of his fingers, and the fire was fully alight with golden flames that cooled down to blue-white, yellow, and finally orange flames. The items he touched as he went were improved to a condition leagues beyond what they had been at mint condition. The various fires around the kitchen glowed brighter and dimmed as he came closer or retreated respectfully; they even seemed to sway slightly to follow his motions. His aura of wellness easily filled the kitchen, and eventually the entire floor.There was an easy smile on his face; far easier than any he has had since leaving his crew (read: family) and ship (read: home).

"Feel free to help in any way you feel comfortable, Mei." Gazer gave her an inviting grin and she would notice that he left an obvious space in his circuit fr her to fit into easily if she wished. "Since you are here now Devdan, Mei can say whatever is on her mind." He chucked softly as Devdan flirted poorly and followed with an inquiry about his familiarity with the man's kitchen. "My grandfather would change the arrangement of his kitchen every time we made port, so I have grown used to cooking in unfamiliar places." Then Gazer felt something he had never felt before; the unpleasant, nearly painful, pang of himself telling a lie. "Though, I now suspect that my angelic abilities play a part in that as well." The sensation faded but with a sense of foreboding: an angel that demands truth must also give it. At least I have confirmed my race. Gazer's expression darkened for less than a second before returning to ease.

Mei smiled, noticing they way they interacted with each other. I was rather hard to miss, really. She slotted herself into the space he had left for her, assisting him however she could, although she wasn't as familiar with the kitchen as he seemed to be. "It seems your kitchen has been taken over, Devdan...", she smiled coyly as she went around, helping out. She became more serious as he mentioned Fayette, "That child has always been rather troublesome, and is indeed much too foolish.", she sighed, and decided to focus on the topic at hand, and push the girl to the back of her mind for the moment.
"Yes. Well... Zayn, you seem to have some sort of uncertainty as to your origins, and Devdan, this may help us with that place...", she paused, and took a breath. "There is a scientist, who goes by the Doctor, and most people believe him to be completely mad, they discredit him and call him a nutter, because... Well, he is adamant that we exist.", she gave them a knowing smile.
"I made sure to keep an eye on him, but recently he seems to have disappeared. I believe that he may be able to help us all out, and perhaps we can even help him a bit. He may even be able to answer the questions we have.", she looked at them questioningly.

"Well I believe it is for the best that the kitchen is taken from me, at one time it was classed a site of dark sorcery, I swear you cook one pie that is hard as a rock and everyone thinks y-your some made lunatic," he says in his typically astute manner of humour. Sitting down on a stool at the more enclosed side of the kitchen, give the others space they needed to work. Listen to Mei he responded saying "So we find this Doctor man, and then we ask in return for him to aid both me and Zyan here" in a tone that made this all sound rather rudimentary. "Though I would still be much happier not existing would have to pay taxes then," he says in a knowingly overly lower tone. "I assume you have ideas about where he is Mei, and I also assume you will tell us, speaking of you, where is miss Sophie if I can ask," he says in a semi-concerned voice. His mind still on the topic of concern, Devdan goes over to Zyan. He had seen his quick darkening of his face, on such a face of compassion its notability, at least to Devdan was unmissable. Standing near the angelic figures shoulder, Devdan says "I'm sure your cooking isn't that bad" before muttering "Though I would like to know what really trouble that curious mind".

"As long as this 'Doctor' is not hostile, I have no issues with making his acquaintance." Gazer addressed Mei as he pulled the teapot off of the fire just before it began to whistle. He pulled out two teacups and poured tea for Mei and Devdan. "On the note of Fayette," he said handing a cup to Mei. "I do think that we should search her out somewhat if we can. There are without a doubt many troubles she could find herself in in this city, and I fear that most of them are not troubles she could escape alone." Gazer then handed Devdan his cup before going back to cooking. "Sophie is currently still sleeping in that darker corner of the kitchen, Devdan. Take care to keep your voice low so that she is undisturbed for as long as possible." Gazer pointed over his shoulder at the corner of the kitchen farthest from the stove where Sophie was curled up in an unconscious ball, breathing evenly.

Gazer sighed in response to Devdan's curiosity. "Truth is a very strange thing, Devdan. Most of the time, the truth that people think they know are merely fragments of a much bigger picture. As such, the things you say today maybe true because you believe them to be, but if you say those same things tomorrow they become false with the added information of the day that has just passed. That is essentially what has happened to me. Now that I have accepted the truth of my angelic heritage, many of the truths I was aloud to believe before now ring false. It troubles my heart to think of all the things that may have now changed in my life as a result. Just now, I lied for the very first time; something I have never done before, and it was painful. Before answering any more questions, she let Zayn speak, nodding along in response. "Wise words, ones that I intend to keep in mind.", she smiled sportively, and took the cup with a nod and a quick "Thank you".
"No, he isn't hostile. I'm sure he would be over the moon to make your acquaintance.", she smiled wider, and took a sip of the tea. It was good, but not as good as the tea from home.
"As for his location... I'm sure he will turn up somewhere...", she said a little nervously, blinking her oddly coloured eyes as she took another sip of tea.
"Yes, I agree we should look for her...", she sighed, "But it's probably best we wait until everyone is awake, and then we can ask if she said anything or anyone saw her before she left... She is a smart girl, I'm sure she will have either returned home, or is with her 'friends' or curled up and sleeping in some dark corner...", she sighed again, and rubbed her head, a mild headache forming there. But, after taking a deep breath and another sip of tea, it was gone almost as quickly as it had formed.

Fayette runned to river bank, she has been unlucky to meet Ramsey and his father couple minutes ago and now they chase her to river. Before she could even think what to do Ramsey's father shot with crossbow to Fayette's back and she falled to river. After hitting to water Fayette sink under water and drown, she waked again under water after half hour after struggling she drowned again. This continues multiple hours until there was no lives left and Fayette stayed dead.

( Elowyn don't bother posting about lenght, i quited voluntery. Now i can focus to making my own RP that doesn't care grammar so long than it's readable and has at least couple sentences.
It just taked too long to my like and nothing happened, maybe you others would now get more lucky when i leave and my curse maybe leaves too.)​
