I'm excited for things to kick off! Survival sounds tempting to switch too but I think I'll hold off until I get a better idea of how balanced the elective choices are among students. Its going to be an interesting time for Alcuris but I'm sure they will get along.

So, what material is the Academy's flooring? Because I just realized that if it's tile, Ayelet might have to stay in their bipedal form (which they would despise) to avoid slipping around — and also, are there elevators or stairs (or some other magical means of transportation, because hooves), and are the doorways tall enough to fit a centaur (they probably are).
Would there be any resounding objections if Ayelet were to attempt sleeping outside (ie. I'm not sure how well he'll adapt to beds; is there a curfew)?

The entire school grounds is full of magic, it in a sense adjusts to each students needs but only they are aware or see these adjustments. Dax made a contract with several living being to create this academy for such purposes. Not wanting any of the students to feel uncomfortable.
AKA, if someone's character needed to be surrounded by cold, the flooring would change for them alone, others may feel the slightly colder temperature l, but that is about all. Or is someone had a character was was slime, we wouldn't want them slipping through the possible cracks of the floor so the floor would mend together allowing the slime character to move freely but nothing would change for other characters. In a sense the academy was created as a living building.
Also there are normal stairs but also magical elevators that simply teleport you to what floor you may want or need
As for curfew, preferred all characters being in bed by 9 at least but no strict rules are applied due to some characters needing say nightly strolls.as long as trouble isn't started there isn't really a curfew
yes and no. There are a decent amount of humans who know of the supernatural. And the government is trying to cover up any possible events but the fact of the matter is those of the supernatural are struggling more and more to hide. So slowly the knowledge of their being is becoming know. To all of humanity.
