Miss Morgan was scanning the books that had been returned yesterday back into the library when she got Mika's text. Oh no, her darling girl! She couldn't very well leave the library, however, Lance had the day off. She gave it to him knowing he wouldn't be able to work properly. She texted Lance, and asked him to check on her. I have to work right now, but could you check on Mika please! It seems your poor sister has caught a fever! Then she noticed the girl in the library with a rather awful bruise on her face. She had wanted to say something, but knew that if the girl wanted something done about it she would have come to her already. Honestly, kids these days were so violent!

Lance had half a mind to punch Jayce's lights out for breaking into his room and rudely insisting he get up for whatever it was he felt like doing, but he had to get up anyway. The hell did he mean training? Lance can train by himself just fine. He had agreed to teach Michelle before, but she had been training with her mom and aunt last he checked, so she didn't need him to teach her. Just to be clear, he wasn't getting up because Jayce said so. It was because he was hungry and needed to check on Mika and Michelle. He furrowed his brow at Michelle's text, hitting her back with I'm in my dorm. What's up? Is something wrong? Where are you? He sighed to himself, knowing this was going to be a long day for him. He got himself dressed and cleaned up, then stood outside the door across the hall and knocked, waiting to be let in.

Mika just lightly open her eyes as she just had her implant off but saw her lips moving she just grabbed her implant as she put it on" I don't feel good" she say as she was looking at her friend as she looked at her face looking worried she heard someone was at the door" I'm sorry I didn't mean to get sick hopefully I get better soon" she say she just coughed a little covering her mouth with the pillow she had​

Danny turns her attention to the door. “Door’s unlocked.” she says before taking a thermometer that she got to room temperature and placed it in Mika’s mouth right under her tongue.“Keep it in till I say, understood?” She says giving Mika a stern look.

Jayce opened the door. "Well look who's up. I am surprised. Welcome brotha." He said clapping him on the shoulder, his tone playful. "Mika's not doin to good. She said she texted Cassie, but I assume Carrie's working? It's no big deal, between you and Danny she'll be better in no time. I, on the other hand, have 0 experience in the whole 'taking care of sick people's field." He finally shut the door, and got to work on breakfast . Although the school's food was supposed to be amazing, he preferred cooking himaelf, and Mika didn't look like she would be going to the cafeteria today. He started hearing some grits, eggs, bacon, and some homemade southern style biscuits. "Do you know how damn hard it was to find some grits? Like in America you can find them anywhere. But here?! No grits. I had to get some imported stuff and pay top dollar all for some f#¢%ing grits! It's insane." He then asked the all important question. "How do y'all like your eggs?"

Mika just coughed as she open her mouth as she just looked at the Stern look on Danny face as she nodded as she just kept her thermometer in her mouth as she looked at her big brother she was laying down in the bed as she looked at Jayce poutiya little she wanted her big brother' I wan big brother food's she signed to her knowing she couldn't speak since she had the thermometer in her mouth​

“Fried and what do you expec? We are in France.” Danny replies with a smile to Jayce. ‘Mika, Jayce already offered to cook for us. We can have Lance’s cooking some other time, ok?’ She signs to Mika before takin the thermometer and reading it. “Good news, she’s not too bad just a few degrees above normal. She should be back to herself in a day if she gets enough rest and proper medication.” Danny says takin the thermometer to the sink to wash it off and sanitize it.

Beatrix wandered around campus. Classes here have been easy for her so far. “Maybe I can go to the library. I’ve already read everything I had brought with me.” She thought to herself. Beatrix walked into the library and picked up a fantasy novel she had never read before. As she was about to sit down, she saw two people walking in her direction. A girl with a bruise on her face, and a boy with short blonde hair. (If this doesn’t work with the timeline that’s going on, I’m sorry.)

"Don't push it, I'm here for Mika. Miss Morgan's at work, asked me to check on her" he wrote to Jayce as he entered. He placed his hand on her forehead and cheeks to double check. What Danny had said sounded about right to him. He texted Miss Morgan to update her, and smiled slightly at Mika's words. "I'll make you some soup later, and bring you some crackers and ginger ale if you want it." He looked to Jayce in surprise at his question. When was the last time someone cooked for him? "Over easy, if you please." He wrote hesitantly. He didn't quite understand Jayce's frustration. Sure, grits were alright, but why would you go through all the trouble of ordering them instead of just having something else? This man didn't make sense to him for a lot of reasons. He looked to Danny for permission before he reached in their bathroom and grabbed a washcloth with a bowl of cold water, ringing the cloth out then putting it to her forehead. "I have some medicine in my room, though you may want to wait until Jayce is done cooking to take it so you can wash it down."

Jayce made some cheese grits, along with over easy eggs for Lance. When Danny said fried he assumed over easy, and as a response to Mika, he made both scrambled and over easy, and would eat whichever style she didn't want. He cooked her eggs the same way. He then prepared the bacon, and the biscuits. It was a relatively easy meal to get right, and he cooked each item to perfection, despite the fact that he wasn't anywhere near Lance's level of cooking. "He set it out on the table, and grabbed forks and some cloth napkins from the drawers in the little kitchen. He set everyone's place, before finally inviting them to the table. "Breakfast is ready! Mika, do you want to eat at the table or in bed? Oh and over easy or scrambled? I don't have a preference so I will eat whatever you don't want."

“Wow this looks amazin.” Danny says sitting down after she washed her hands. She takes off her hat, letting her wavy brown hair fall down her shoulders and out of the ponytail the hat held up. She sets it on her lap while she waits on everyone to be seated.

Mika just looked at her brother as she felt her stomach growling' I'm hungry that's Cole's she signed as she smiled looking at her big sister then to her brother" I don't want you guys to get sick so I stay in bed" she say looking at them happily as she heard her stomach growling she haven't told him about her birthday yet the only people to know was Cassie Jayce and Danny was the only people who knew she just bites her lip" you look pretty DJ" she say happily​

“Well, thank ya Mia, though this is just somethin my aunt got me a few years back.” She says lookin down at her clothing and boots with a small smile. She stands up and takes Mika’s plate of food to her before positioning her chair so she could face Mika and the others at the table. “So, what plans do y’all have for today?” she asks, curiously lookin at Jayce in specific.

Danny looks slightly taken back at Mika’s signed comment. ‘What do you mean? It’s impossible for me to like someone, have you noticed that I’m basically cold hearted? Also even if I did no one likes people like me, so don’t even try it missy.’ Danny signs back with a flat expression. She wasn’t lettin her guard down again...was she? No she wouldn’t after all that happened with Lance she wasn’t goin to fall so easily...but...it might be too late for that comment.

"Thank you," he wrote to Jayce before sitting down and eating. Not bad, could use some more seasoning, but definitely not bad. Lance pouted a bit at Mika's suggestion. What if he had wanted to have fun today? Oh who was he kidding, he knew that if he was left alone he'd just sit around and mope about Akira all day. Taking care of Mika would probably be good for him. "I don't really have anything planned, but I'll probably call my trainer for an MMA session once Mika gets to sleep and just take care of her today. You all have fun." Still no text back from Michelle. Lance had started to get worried. He thought he might also go look for her, but Mika had to come first. Miss Morgan had always said that family came first, and Lance did care deeply for his little sister. He couldn't very well go off on his own adventure knowing she was sick. He knew the others cared for her too, but he had caught Danny's look at Jayce. Perhaps she wanted to make plans with him. It was decided then- he'd stay here, and let Danny go off on her own adventure. Even if things weren't working for him, he could at least help make sure things worked for Danny. He felt like he owed her that, somehow. He stood up and went to wash the other dishes with somewhat of a resolve. He'd just wash Mika's when she was done. Jayce had cooked, it was only fair he clean up.

Jayce thanked Lance for doing the dishes, before finally getting around to replying to Danny. "I got the engine and some parts ordered for the Audi, I am going to swap out the engine, and a few other things. I was going to do that AFTER we went and worked with Mika on her powers, but now she is sick so that can wait. I also got something to show you, it came in yesterday when we left with Mika... Um... To go somewhere and do something... " When he said that, it sounded worse than it was, but he didn't want to give any hints to Lance... Although he probably blew it, because if Lance asked, he wasn't going to lie. He was a firm believer that lying isn't only admitting that you were guilty of what you were being accused of, but also that you were ashamed of it yourself.

“Can’t wait to see this somethin.” She says placing her plate and silverware in the sink after a quick thank you to Lance. Danny turned to Mika with a raised brow. ‘Mika, you know how I am don’t play innocent with me. When I first met you I didn’t want anything to do with anyone but you needed help and my daddy raised me better than to leave you on your lonesome. So in a sense I blame you for makin me have feelins for all these weirdos...so I thank you for gettin at least a bit of sense in my head. But I disagree on you saying I’m not cold because you should know better.’ Danny signs to her was a small smile before walking over to her bed and sitting down facing Mika. “By the way Mika, we’re goin to the ranch in a few days and I do believe you don’t have proper riding gear or clothin. Correct? If not then I can go pick you up some.”

Alex almost laughs at the thought. Him? And a talent show? He wasn’t 12! But he probably should go to meet people, he needs information, and it seems like no one wants to give it so far. He’d guess it’s cause he just got here, and most people can see that he’s not a supernatural. “I suppose that sounds nice... when will it be? Also you know anything about someone who like has a lot of masks?! As soon as I got here and checked the room I’d be staying in the wall was covered in em... Christ...” if there was any information for Darron to give it would be about now... hopefully he said it well enough that they won’t have any reason not to.

“Oh you’re rooming with Asaya!” Darron Laughs and placed his hand on Alex’s shoulder, though not enough to hurt him.
“Man I’ll be prayin for you! That kid is one heck of a supernatural! Whatever you do, Stay. Away. From. The. Masks.”He says seriously. “We don’t need you getting possessed now do we?”He says with a raised brow before his hand falls back to his pockets and he continues walking ahead.

Mika just smiled as she tilted her head as she was slightly happy' your welcome' she signed as she looked at them" oh clothes for riding oh I totally forgot to ask Cassie oh well um yeah can we go get riding clothes" she say happy" can't I come with you when you pick them please" she say as she looked at them as she had a hard cough as it hurts as she just cover her mouth as she closed her eyes" I'm sorry" she say she didn't want be sick for her birthday she had to take the darn medicine which she hated

I would freeze for a moment as he walked ahead, once I recoverd from realizing I could have been possessed back in the room I quickly catch up. “Well I can see I hate both of my roommates... so... I don’t really know anyone here, can you introduce me to some people so you know... meet literally anyone, cause your the only other person I’ve talked to other than the demon...” I say slightly nervously, still recovering with the idea that I could have been possessed, both failing my mission and turning into another monster.

Lance nodded his head in acknowledgement, and caught Jayce's hesitation. His brow arched in question, looking towards him. Surely it couldn't have been anything bad if Danny was with them, she'd never let any harm come to MIka. He went to get the medicine from his bathroom, then came back in and weaved to Jayce as he poured it out for Mika. "Something? What were you up to that everyone else here but me knows about?" He looked to the girls in question as well. Did they mean horseback riding? Lance had never been himself, but figured it was something the girls were doing as their own thing, as Jayce had made no comment on the matter. It was 'girl's time', as Miss Morgan liked to put it. Good. He was glad to see Mika spending time with her friends, he thought she needed it just as bad as Lance did. It would also be good for Danny, considering what she had said. Lance considered her to be many things, but 'cold-hearted' wasn't one of them. He wondered where she had gotten that idea from.

Danny nods.”Of course, but you have to get better first Darlin.” she says pulling out her phone and looking for the nearest saddlery. “There’s a saddlery not to fat down the road, once you are better I’ll drive ya down and we can get what you need.
Also it was just a small outing to get Mika out and about, I though she could get some early experience with driving and Jayce tagged along ”She says looking up at Lance with a casual shrug before her eyes avert to a picture on her nightstand.

It was a picture of a younger Daniela on her first horse. Stared at it for a few seconds before turning away from it.

“Sure why not, though don’t be so nervous Alex. Asaya is a good kid, he’s younger than most who attend here but he doesn’t know the power of what he is doing with those masks he makes. Heck even Lance tried explaining it to the boy but the kid just doesn’t understand.” Darron says with a small chuckle, shaking his head as they go.
“Though, the best time to meet the others would most likely be tomorrow. Classes resume since it’s Monday and you’ll have a higher chance of getting them in one place. Though knowing my step-sister...you’ll have to meet her on your own time I guess...considering she’s a wild card of sorts.” He says with a shrug.
