Despite the wolf DNA fixed into his code, Alto lacks any sort of bulk or height generally associated with similar splices like the erasers. Instead Alto is thin, to the point that it is almost worrying, and on the minor side of average in height. Minor side being 178cm (5’8). It isn’t a good idea to mistake him as anything but fit however, his body consisting of large amounts of lean muscle designed for flight. It isn’t at its best currently, given the lack of actually being able to fly about, but he has plans to change that.
As far as first glances go he looks decently human. Overall his skin tone leans towards what is generally associated with Asian although arguably on the more tanned side. Likewise his eyes are slightly almond shaped although it hints more at a mixed heritage. They are also at the far end of the human spectrum, with just enough brown in the gold coloration to not raise too many suspicions. His hair is somewhat coarse, and the same light absorbing black as the outer side of his wings. Generally he wears it shaggy enough to cover his ears and ‘styled’ into windswept messy.
Alto does have wings, although given their source, they are of a different construction that most of the avians. Instead of feathers, Alto bears wings that appear like leather or sail cloth. The membrane is thick enough to support flight without any problem, even in extreme conditions without tearing, although it is faintly transparent. Mainly in regards to him standing in front of bright lines, at which point the veins, bones, and fluorescent organs are visible. Because of their thin composition Alto is capable of folding his wings to his back with very little trace, leaving the tracks of the thin fingerlike bones folded along his spine. He prefers not to hold them that tight however, likening it to walking around with fists clenched. Instead he has a tendency to make use of the hooked claws adorning the secondary joint to arrange the wings so that they look like the stylized back of a leather jacket. The length of the jacket varies with what he has been able to get ahold of, from waist length to calf length, the male wearing his wings at calf length with the claws hooked in the dip of his shoulders whenever he is relaxed. Spread out fully his wings span some 4.3m (14ft).
When it comes to coloration, his wings bear the same dull brown coloration as his hair on the underside, while appearing black on the outside, absorbing any and all light that brushes against them. It is noted that he is capable of fluorescing the inner sides of the wings with patterns of blue and green however. Some failed attempt by the white coats to give him camouflage abilities. It works well enough to make him visible on night flights however although lacking feathers there is really very little that can be done about making his flight audible.
His wings and eyes aren’t the only things that mark him out as not quite as human as first glance would have you believe however. Alto also bears a tail. Vaguely wolf in design, it shows a remarkable amount of flexibility and extends to his calves. It is noted that during flight it unravels and flattens out into more of a tail spread.
Alto also has something closer to talons adorning his feet. Possessing incredibly long toes done in scaled black, Alto is noted to be fully capable of using them to hang upside down.
Wardrobe wise, Alto favors the darker colors, with a specific fondness for leather jackets and black jeans. His feet don’t seem to give him a lot of trouble when it comes to shoes although for obvious reasons he has a preference for closed toed shoes such as boots.
Other: During one of the tests irreparable damage was done to his vocal cords. He regained the ability to speak eventually, although it remains a low sound with a defined rasp to it.
