I'm Saru, The main idea of this Rp offering is fueled by a motivation to see a active Mass effect Rp around the forum. They come and they go, yes, but hopefully this will be my first successful attempt at Gming. Limited experience but plenty of knowledge from years of rping and some Co-Gm successes along the way here. RL is mostly settled down and calm, nice opportunity and time to try this Rp out. Pending interest of course...

In the two years between the death of both Saren and Sovereign plus the revival of legendary commander Shepard through Cerberus resources. Much has gone on, the crew of the Normandy has been reassigned after the attack by a collector ship.... Many have gone their separate ways. Williams continues with the alliance, Liara has left to resume works of her own, Tali has returned to her people, Wrex the same, Alenko died back on Virmire and Garrus well he's off doing his thing.
Yet trouble still exists in the galaxy and it hasn't stopped just because the council says the "real" threat has been dealt with and died with Saren, a rogue spectre. It didn't stop to honor Shepards passing. Geth remain outside of the Perseus veil even if scattered and unorganized. Cerberus hasn't been shut down and who really knows what they are up to these days. Anderson represents humanity as part of the council, though being a non politician has affected his ability to truly bring the council around to their side, they seem to honor the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who saved them, share in their families loss, their people's loss. But refuse the evidence before them instead sweeping it under the rug like true politicians.
So where does that leave us?
It's past 2183 and yes Saren is dead, so is Sovereign..... But while Shepard remains dead or least to the council and alliances knowledge. A new team is needed to stop a rising threat many have not foreseen coming....... Collectors? No. not yet have they been revealed in public. Geth? No. only slightly have they gotten in the way, though clean up continues throughout the systems.
A rogue scientist has risen to power through breeding his own army, using Cerberus resources and betraying even them, he's brought to life a growing threat made from both non-organic and organics, cross breeding and implanting control chips into each and every soldier created. He's recruited a staff from different races to aid him and act as his lieutenants, each commanding a small force and that force is growing.
It's 2184 and life just got more complicated... the Andromeda initiative has been underway preparing to set course for new Galaxies, the Council continues on, Shepard is lost for now.... But the Milky Way needs someone, needs a new team to take the fight to this new threat and find out what they are after and who's behind it. So will you join us or will you run and hide?

It's a small idea with goals to become something more, something legit for Rp and mass effect. The leader of this new crew is open and their title will be based on the OC who claims it and where they come from, who they are and how they came to be here. (Asari, Salarian, Batarian, Krogan, Human, Turian, Quarian, Drell even Volus are open choices. Plus any viable candidates you can think of )
Other roles also will be based off your Oc's specialty or just your custom choice. Details can be handled in CS and expanded discussion through Rp otherwise Dossier Intel will suffice. I'd prefer variety and all kinds of builds, races but the choice is ultimately yours should you join. Just remember having characters like Joker, Kallo, Suvi and Lexi, Chakwas, Adams, Pressly, Michel, Chambers, Allers and etc are welcome and great options as well imo. (Crew limit: None set.)

Additional Info: The mixed orangic life forms will likely just be called "The Alpha" unless a better name comes to mind or comes across during my search. Further more a shadow figure will make appearances more details to come later and expect twists from time to time, some will be made obvious.
Crew/Team formation in the Rp will derive from the councils decision to create a small task force to unite different races into one team, use them to investigate the new threat and find out more. Further more this should likely involve how a leader is chosen and partially how others fit into the fold. Leaving less intros and more starting off together aboard the ship or elsewhere during the early stages of the groups forming. But the bridge from A to B can still be useful with CS's or used in opening posts for respective characters.
