So. Recently become addicted to the Mass Effect franchise. I have concluded the most important question is not what choices you make, your moral values, renegade vs paragon, but rather:

As someone who plays fem shep in the original trilogy, I (of course) adore Garrus. I know it's an unpopular opinion but I did also really adore Thane as a romance too but ultimately it's all about Garrus. I also really love Legion and Jack. As far as non party characters go, Aria and Joker. And as far as DLC characters, Kasumi, didn't really care all too much for Zaeed. It's really hard to pick just one favorite with this game because each character holds a different favorite aspect for me, honestly.

Okay, I have to second that Garrus is best girl. And 2 is my favorite. It was so fun. I'm playing Andromeda now. Andromeda has a bad rep but I think it's still better than 3.

Sorry I know this isn't part of the awards but mass effect andromeda is by far my favorite out of the series at least better then 3 as well I think the story and worlds are put together well I don't know why people put it down for no reason expect for some expressions.

While I romanced Ashley my first time through the trilogy, I gotta say that Liara is by far the best girl. She is part of the reason why you even get resurrected in ME2 in the first place. Now that's love. Wonderful, creepy love.

I'd say for my best romanced female character it's Tali first because she hit more at home with me and felt more like a truly good dynamic character. Second is Jack because IMO she was a great character who evolved over time. I don't have a third but the closest is liara, same reasons as Jack.

Romanced men is Garrus because he hits closer to home and is a type of person I'd have a ton of fun with.

Tali. I romanced no one in the first. Didn't like Ashley too much and Liara's race creeps me out. Spent the first game trying to romance Tali.... Then found out I couldn't. Was stoked when I could in the second and third. Always the one I romance. Her, along with Neeshka from neverwinter nights 2 (because you should have installed the overhaul that added in the cut content), are my favorite romanceable companions.
