Description: Adi is surrounded by a partially stable static electric field that her body is constantly generating. She relies on metal objects to help her direct it but has very little control over it without a great deal of concentration.


Strengths: It’s incredibly difficult to physically overcome her because the field is painful to touch and in a heightened emotional state the current becomes stronger. When she focuses the electrical output she can enhance the range and power that it strikes.


Weaknesses: Rubber is an effective shield, although give enough time/focus/emotional aggravation she could theoretically fry such a barrier. Water has a double edged effect, in that it presses the field against her skin, causing her the pain of its touch, but it also enhances the range and power of the field. As she’s constantly producing electricity, she needs safe outlets to disperse it; Adi is as likely to be hurt by her ability as anyone, she’s just a little more resistant to it.

Power Mastery: 4, she’s spent most of her life working towards repressing her powers and keeping them from harming others than learning how to really control and manipulate it.


Appearance: Civilian Appearance Adi likes to go barefoot and has an eye for unusual fashion that she doesn’t get to indulge very much. She doesn’t have a super outfit yet.


Personality: Her fierce independence is a result of not being able to be close with anyone, she hates have to ask anyone for anything, and it makes her bitter if she does need help. There’s a boiling well of untapped passion in her that she fears so she pretends to be indifferent, wary of forming relationships because she’s not sure she can actually maintain the façade. Adi doesn’t really know or understand herself, but she’s not a coward, she hasn’t been running, she’s been enduring, displaying a patience that might not have been expected of her.


History: As a child, before the static electric field fully developed, it only made others queasy and uncomfortable when they touched her or were near her, which is why she ended up being given up to fostering. Her young, single mother thought something was wrong with herself that she couldn’t bear to hold her own child, and then in school she was ostracized more than tormented. Books were her sanctuary because they didn’t short out on her like game stations or computers, and they didn’t require interactions with others. In middle school she learned to play the drums and loved it, but when she had to play other instruments she dropped out.


The static field properly manifested when she was about eleven, shocking anyone who touched her and causing most electronics she touched to malfunction. As she progressed through puberty it fluctuated wildly in power--from a painful, numbing shock to a carpet spark--and range--resting against her skin to charging the air a few inches around her. Understanding from a young age the sort of damage that she could do, and having no particular desire to cause pain or initiate violence, she thought keeping to herself was the best method she knew.



By the time she was eighteen, the field has settled to about a half inch around her, and stably produces a shock that's startling in its intensity but brief in its pain, enough to discourage someone from touching her again. It’s been almost impossible to hold a job, especially now that electronics are so commonplace in most work environments and she never finished school. A few months ago she struck luck, finding a small book shop run by an old man who has no desire to integrate computers into his system.

Description: Connor can manipulate his own blood and turn it into various things, such as weapons, armor, and even explosives, given enough time and control. In a more controlled state, he has been shown the ability to absorb other people's blood into his own, increasing his power.

Personality: Connor is quiet, antisocial, and a bit of a loner. He hates attention, and prefers being alone or with those he truly trusts.


History: Connor grew up in a small town in Ireland. At the age of 7, he was involved in a horrible accident that left his mother and father dead and himself horribly mangled. As he lay in a puddle of his own blood, the vision fading from his eyes, he felt something give way inside of him. His blood seemed to ripple and move back toward him as the townspeople drew closer and closer. The blood encased him in a sort of armor, keeping everyone away until the paramedics arrived.


Being taken to the hospital, his life was saved. Shortly after being sewn back up, he was immediately sent to a facility where he was experimented on, his mutant gene being a source of scandal and inquiries. The Irish government then sent him overseas to North America, not wanting any part in this sort of mutation. Once sent to America, he was even further tested on in a dark facility. The tests were like torture, where he had almost all of his blood drained and more pumped into him via a dialysis machine. Nearly giving up home, Connor spent years in that facility, growing used to the pain, the drugs, the experiments.


One fateful night, whilst Connor was sleeping in his cell, the power went out in the facility. He awoke to the sounds of blaring alarms, screams of fear and agony, several gunshots and explosions, and more. His cell door flew open and he was greeted by the site of a large, shadowy figure. The figure just stared at him, then seemed to disappear, leaving Connor the chance to escape. And he took this chance. Now, alone and on the run, Connor struggles to find a purpose in his life.

_____Description: Has the ability to absorb energy or matter and change the composition of his body into the nature or being he touched as well as release the absorbed energy.


_____Strengths: He can freely choose to change his form to strengthen his abilities or transform into a humanoid version of any creature/animal he touches. When absorbing energy, he can use to discharge it all at once or he can use it to suppliment his abilities. He can also willingly transform just a part of his body.


_____Weaknesses: The proportion of his body that transforms depends on how long he holds on to the desired object. It usually takes him a full minute to completely transform himself. He can't transform into energy or something covered by energy. He has the same weaknesses as the things he transforms into. He can't maintain a form for more than an hour and has to retransform. There is a maximum amount of energy his body can tolerate. Any more and he's become a walking timebomb. Releasing energy takes a mental toll on him which makes him feel tired or exhausted. When transforming into living creatures, he sometimes loses himself to a bestial instinct that most animals naturally have.

6'3'' tall and ripped. He doesn't give much thought about appearance and just wears what he feels like wearing.



Personality: Has a jock attitude and prefers to do things at his own pace. He's fearless and isn't easily shaken. He can be a delinquent and violent but he's naturally good. He may have difficulty in showing kindness. He can be overly critical and cynical at times.


History:


He was an orphan who used to run with a bunch of mischievous kids. Using his powers,they caused trouble to the locals. A delinquent, he had a few trips to the juvenile detention centers as a kid. When he grew up, he became less concerned with society and was affiliated with gangs. After being adopted by an old couple, he was convinced to live straight. He now uses his violent tendencies, and his powers, in sports where he's fairly famous around town for.



Much of his life as a superhuman has been unknown especially how he was recruited by Division.

Ability: Amorphous Physiology, basically living liquid gold, can turn other things into gold _____


Description: He is basically a humanoid form of liquid gold, he can change into any shape or size, and turn other things into gold and back. _____


Strengths: He can pick locks, short out anything electrical by flooding with himself, (gold is a highly conductive metal), make his arms weapons, generate tentacles, fit through almost any opening, like under doors and through door-handles. He can also pull any part of himself back together, so blowing him up would only delay him until he reformed. He can also harden his body to deflect small-arms fire, but anything bigger than a nine-millimeter bullet will harm him. He conducts electricity very well, so he's immune to it. _____


Weaknesses: If he's trapped in an air-tight container, he can't escape, and if he's exposed to radiation, he will melt into a puddle until the radiation can't reach him. Then he forms back to normal.

Personality: He is analytical, despises criminals, and will do everything he can to defend the innocent. He doesn't talk much, acts as though he hasn't ever been human, and loves to demonstrate his powers. He loves to make beautiful art from his body, and garbage he turned gold. He turns items to gold, and gives them to the truly needy to sell, to help the poor.


History: Midas doesn't remember his past. He was the result of an experiment to bring a pool of molten gold to life, through exposure to an extremely rare type of radiation. He was brought to life, and did only as he was told by the scientists. Eventually, he became self-aware, and began communicating with the scientists, learning from them. When the program that resulted in his creation had been cancelled, the military took over, and began to conduct experiments fro weaponizing him. One of the scientists, Jason Hecktons, destroyed the machinery, and all the files on the project. He gave Midas his name, and then killed himself. right before military personnel started breaking down the barricaded door.


Midas ran, and squeezed through a crack in the wall, to the outside. He runs, and runs, until he reaches a city. At first, people tried taking pieces of him when he was asleep, but he always awoke to fend them off. He eventually became a town legend in New York, and has helped many successful people get their start with money, to help them achieve their dreams. He can't go into an evil faction.
 
Yes, those are her powers. Actually, her clairvoyance adds range to her manipulation (she doesn't have to necessarily touch anyone to affect them.)


Her manipulation prowess aren't quite up there with The Hatian. It's mostly a nerve interference. She can send a signal to another person's brain to make them feel pain, and to lose their train of thought. (Not entirely their memory.)


Her stress mode is using the same technique a human brain does. Their fight/flight response goes into to hyperdrive, and all their blood/energy rushes to their muscles. For clarity, is the same, the same energy Used to power her brain goes to her body. She's basically good for melee, and can actually do some damage.


Her "shield" mechanism is pretty simple to describe as well. It's based off her danger intuition, and her skin & muscle nerves become numb. It allows her to take some hard hits, but she's still pretty screwed if blades are involved, regardless if she feels it or not.


And wholly crap, fires charrie looks exactly like my ex boyfriend, lip piercing and all.

So basically, her stress mode is a steroid enhanced version of the adrenaline you feel when extremely scared or angry, or driven? Not bad. That, coupled with the "Spider-Sense" should make you a rather interesting and deceivingly powerful character. Bravo on being creative. Here's a pedobear award.

Ability: Accelerated Probability


_____Description:


He can see possible actions and probable outcomes of a given situation. Time seems to slow for him and he sees illuminated pathways for different variables, allowing him to predict what could happen and choose the best tactic to suit the situation. He often calls it 'Combative Precognition' and considers it a precognition ability, even his name 'Lucky' and the term 'Accelerated Probability' give the impression that his ability stems from probability manipulation.


_____Strengths:


He can predict the best move in a fight, or while carrying someone out of a burning building, anything where he has multiple actions to choose from. It gives him a higher probability for coming out on top, or at least not get himself killed.


_____Weaknesses:


It’s really an ‘in-the-moment’ type of power. He can activate it at will, but using it too soon is useless, as he only sees just a few short seconds ahead, and in those seconds has to find the best pathway. He also can't use it back to back to back. Using it constantly gives him severe headaches, but the better he gets at controlling it, the longer and more frequently he can use it. It doesn't tell him which pathway is the best, he still has to decide for himself which one to choose based on what he sees.

Appearance:


He is about six feet tall, toned and muscled but still on the thin side. His hair is light brown and short, sometimes messy, sometimes almost not messy. He has hazel eyes and a light complexion. When not in uniform he is often dressed in a light colored button-up (generally blue), sleeves rolled to his elbows, with white suspenders and sometimes a tie, sometimes a bow tie, or neither. All over a pair of jeans and converse in a bright color or black.


His HIVE uniform is an bomber-style HIVE jacket, sleeves rolled to his elbows, with a black, sleeveless Tee underneath. A pair of rather plain HIVE pants, with belt and logo buckle, and a pair of combat boots and generic, black mask.


Personality:


Charlie is a kind, caring and patient man. He's always up to helping out other supers, and enjoys seeing the young kids in HIVE making progress with their powers. He always works towards his father's goals for HIVE in one way or another, striving to make it as amazing as it had always sounded when his father told him about it.


History:


Charles Chance (AKA Charlie), named for his grandfather, grew up with a mother, father and younger sister. His father, George Chance, had the ability to sense other supers as long as their ability had already manifested. George never hid his ability from his family, his wife had been raised in a household that accepted everyone, no matter race, sexual orientation, or anything like that. Of course, this was back before supers were a widely known phenomenon. George never hid his ability from them and, though they clearly weren’t the most comfortable around him, they never treated him badly. When George and his wife, Amelia, had children, he was always curious to know whether they would inherit his super gene, he wouldn’t know until their abilities manifested though, if they did at all.


Charlie grew up knowing what his father was, and it never bothered him. As far as super powers went, his father’s wasn’t dangerous. Not only did he grow up around his father’s ability though, but the abilities of the HIVE agents at the time. His father became HIVE’s leader when Charlie was only seven, and he was exposed to a lot of super powers and HIVE activity by the time his powers first manifested. In a street soccer game with some of his childhood friends, two other young supers included, when he first learned he had an ability. He hadn’t been sure what it was at the time, and his father’s ability picked up on it before he even walked into the house that night.


Naturally, it was difficult to tell his father what it was, since he didn’t know himself. He ended up in HIVE’s trainee program, which was relatively new at the time (in comparison to how long HIVE itself had been around). It had been more like going to school back then, with a few ‘teachers’ that held ‘classes’ for small groups of supers in order to teach them about their abilities. And most of the HIVE trainees of the time were the children, relatives or close friends of the current agents, as HIVE wasn’t as well known back then as it is today, and George can be credited for that.


George hadn’t been a field agent with HIVE. He spent his time completely updating the way things were done, letting his trusted second-in-command handle field work. He used his life savings to remodel the Hive and changed many things in Command Central and the trainee program. Not to mention, he began working towards reaching out to supers, which is how HIVE came to be so well known. With his ability, he could detect supers, and often approached the ones he encountered to tell them about HIVE, and what it could offer for them, and word of mouth took care of the rest.


Central Command could now watch news stories to locate supers with out of control abilities, and he personally reached out to them and HIVE ended up with many more trainees than they’d had before. He hired humans, only ones he trusted, to help with some of HIVE’s functions, manning Central Command, and building training rooms and creating a good security system most importantly. He also hired some staff to take care of maintenance, give injured agents and trainees medical attention, keep watch for suspicious activity near the Hive, things like that. His dream was to create a place where supers would feel safe, be able to learn to control their abilities, and use those abilities for good.


Charlie was ten when he first became a HIVE trainee, and his sister’s ability manifested shortly after. His sister’s, Melissa’s, ability was easy enough to figure out – Enhanced regeneration. She was eight, a year younger than Charlie had been when he discovered his ability. They weren’t sure the extent of her power at first, but she easily recovered from every injury she obtained as a kid. A few years later they found out that their father had cancer, and Melissa felt guilty for having an ability that would save him… of only he had it. He won the battle with cancer, but his doctor didn’t give him much time to live afterwards, only six months.


During this time Melissa worried that her father wouldn’t be around to help her find her power’s limits, and started to test them on her own. She resorted to self mutilation and attempted suicide, but she was always fine. It wasn’t something her father condoned, but she did it anyway. Seven months later, George was still alive. Charlie was eighteen by now, Melissa sixteen. He would have gone off to college if he hadn’t felt he was needed at home. Not only did he want to be there in the event of his father’s passing, but he needed help with HIVE and Charlie provided it.


Melissa, on the other hand, did go off to college once she graduated high school. By now she had tried just about everything but hadn’t found the limit to her power, and settled with not knowing, or assuming there was none. Three years later she returned “for good,” when her father was hospitalized. Shortly after, he passed away. Charlie was left in charge of HIVE, as its new leader. He was young, but he had plenty of help from older, more experienced supers. Melissa wanted to help as well, but he encouraged her to go back to school and graduate. She was studying to become a doctor so she still had a ways to go. She returned to San Diego, leaving her brother to care for their mother, and HIVE, but came home for breaks and special occasions. And Charlie did his absolute best to try to fulfill his father’s dream, looking forward to the day his sister would graduate and return to HIVE.

Description: The ability to control and create fire at will. Able to control fire, either produce by herself or any nearby fire. Is also able to control heat to a certain degree and able to turn up the heat to produce fire if needed. Able to use fire as a weapon or wall if able to control fire well enough and same with using it to project oneself. Also able to absorb heat and fire to a certain degree.

Strengths: Fire is very harmful to people, not only hurting them immediately but also causing burns which will hurt for a period after. Fire can also be used to get through materials that are flammable and to use as a shield both at close and somewhat large promixity. Able to withstand heat and fire so no worries about going into a burning building to save someone. They also have a light source if need be.

Weaknesses: You need control and focus when using it, especially on a larger scale less you hurt others or cause destruction to objects that weren't the target. Fire is very dangerous when out of control. Not able to use in the rain or and even when wet, it is harder to produce fire. Is weak against ice and water. Oxygen is required for use, so if there is little oxygen the fire will not produce well or the person may not make the fire to perserve the air left.

Personality: Alexis is a friendly girl and is always willing to make new friends. Even so she has a bit of a temper, but only when provoked. Alexis enjoys teasing others and loves to joke around, but she can be serious. Alexis is a hardworker, but she is plain in terms of smarts. Alexis is a bit reckless at times, both in using her powers and in wanting to help others. Alexis is shy though when talking about her personal life with strangers.


History: Alexis was always a pyromaniac as a child and she would always have a candle burning in her room. At the age of eight she learned about her powers when she was able to make the flame on her candle grow and shrink at will. She was frighten of her powers worrying that she might burn things down, but she was fascinated by them as well, using them whenever she could. As she got older, Alexis would start to experiment with her powers. She once used it to make a flame in chemistry and caused the flask to explode which is how she got the scar on her face. Alexis has always admired her abilties with fire and was always willing to experiment with them, but not at the risk of other people. Strangely, but oddly fitting, she plans to be a firefighter but is working now first to gain some money.

Description: Hiroshi can generate, control and manipulate magnetism in all its forms, both natural (planetary, solar, lunar, stellar, magnetosphere, magnetic materials/ferromagnetism, etc.), organic (generated by the electric currents of living beings) or artificial (everything creating/using electricity). He can affect any matter that is magnetic (iron, nickel, cobalt and their alloys, some rare earth metals, naturally-occurring minerals such as lodestone) manipulating and controlling them as they will and indirectly use them to his advantage.

Strengths: This power is useful in many ways, at the fact that our modern society use all sorts of metal/magnetic materials which he can use for his own purposes. He can use his magnetic powers in more than one way simultaneously. He can also completely assemble/disassemble a complicated machine within seconds through his powers.

Weaknesses: One of Hiroshi's weaknesses is physical condition. When severely injured, his body is unable to withstand the strain of manipulating great amounts of energy, thus making him powerless when completely weakened by his enemy's. His power is limited to controlling existing/local magnetic fields, not everything is magnetic. Another disadvantage he has is that magnetism in objects is destroyed at high temperatures, making it almost impossible for him to fight in such high temperature locations (As well as depending on if his enemy can give off such extreme temperatures, he will most likely lose a fight against them.) Another one is of the various alloys of a magnetic field, which can complicate the way energy will be transmitted in order to manipulate them, depending on the object.

Personality: Hiroshi is a serious type of person, and as well as being a smart man. He could be talkative if he wants to and would obviously speak when given orders and such. He always pays attention in battle, but never mocks his opponent. He is very dependent for his allies (Even if they don't think he is.) Hiroshi is sometimes cold if you catch him in a bad mood. He loves to meditate in his free time, but hates to be rudely interrupted while he is meditating. He would sometimes joke around, and he would often find it difficult to talk to someone about his past, so he rather would keep his mouth shut during a conversation like that.


History: In Moscow, Russia, Hiroshi's life wasn't so easy. At the age of 10, his family was brutally murdered in front of him at his own home by local Russian insurgents. During the massacre, however, Hiroshi tapped onto his hidden Magnetism powers through complete grief and anger, killing off two insurgents as he manipulated their weapons to use it against them. (Although, feelings isn't really necessary for him to trigger his powers.) After finishing them off, he ran away from his home, to later be captured and taken away by the insurgents. The Russian Insurgents didn't kill him, because of the fact that they were completely amazed at to what this boy can do. So instead, they took him to a distant location further south of Moscow, a facility for testing weapons. They knew that with training, this boy could turn out to be the greatest Russian weapon in all of history.


So they trained Hiroshi, they forced him out of his own will to kill "specimens" while using his powers, they tested him on how to disassemble a complicated machine and reassemble it back to its normal form, but as they were demonstrating it, he had to use his own powers to follow their orders. And they barely spoke to him in his own language, so they spoke to him in English, making it very difficult for Hiroshi to comprehend what the insurgents was saying. (That was one of the cruel tricks they did to Hiroshi.) Because of this, he made many mistakes, and as for punishment, he got many beatings from five or more of the insurgents, and was left to starve for two days after the beating. After ten years of being locked away, Hiroshi, 20 years old at that time, later became more efficient with his powers, making him finish his tasks without too many mistakes, and along the ride, he learned how to speak English perfectly, forgetting about his Russian language. Being locked away from society changed him in many different ways. He wasn't the most powerful weapon in Russian history or in the whole world, but they were right about him passing his power's limits, and becoming more powerful than they had expected, maybe too powerful..


Five years later passed, and Hiroshi was becoming more disobedient, and not accepting the insurgents assignments. They then punished him, but by this time, he fought back. He killed the men who tried to punish him, but was put down by three men armed with tranquilizer guns, multiple shots that is. As this had happened, along with other events like this that follows, the insurgents decided that Hiroshi was becoming too much to handle. So for three more years, the Russian insurgents created a machine that would biochemically and genetically relieve Hiroshi from his powers, hoping to kill him in the process. (They also hoped that after doing so, they would copy his power, and place them into small needles so they can go on creating super soldiers with the same powers once they injected them.) After a few days of its creation, they took Hiroshi and put him into the machine. As they were preparing to puncture needles into his body, Hiroshi manipulated the needles, detached the needles from the machine, and made them fly across the room, stabbing the mechanics who operated it. The locks they put on his legs and wrists that were attached to the machine, was quickly dismantled by his powers. As he stood away from where he was being held at on that vile contraption, he forced the machine from out of the ground, and hurled it through the wall as he crumbled the machine into a ball. He continued his rampage on the facility, destroying everything in his path. And finally, after all these years, he escaped from the facility. (His "codename" was given to him on the local Russian newspapers a few days after the incident, showing that the codename Destroyer suited for what he had done to the facility.) He went into hiding for months, and because of this, the insurgents gave up on him, and completely forgot he ever existed.


After being forgotten, Hiroshi left from hiding, and bought transport tickets to America, where he can start off new. Now, age 29, Hiroshi Shimizu stays in San Francisco, hoping that he could start off as a better man than how he was back in Russia.

Strengths: She knows what's going to happen before it happens and can prevent injury or death if she is near harm.


Weaknesses: Since things can change, she is vulnerable if she doesn't perceive the future in time to prevent it. Such instances- If an opponent switches tactics of assault before she can react to what she thought the opponent was going to do. In this, she is weak to opponents who fight erratically or on instinct.

Personality: Calm and tact most of the time, Elizabet' can give off more seductive or motherly, caring tones when she feels the need to. She tends to tease more mature people, as well as mother both the mature and frail. When it comes to the use of her powers, she can be quite serious or quite humorous, depending on what she is predicting.


History: Born in Germany, Elizabet' was raised to be classy, beautiful, and perfect. She learned how to play piano, sing, and cook. However, due to old gambling habits with her father, her family went broke and moved to North America to, hopefully, find better jobs. It was here that Elizabet' learned how to speak and write English more fluently as well as adapt to the current lifestyle of the U.S. She discovered different music genres and arts and began admiring the free and rebellious American way of life.


It was at the age of 16 when Elizabet' received her powers. She managed to perceive future events, thus able to ace every test and homework assignment she was handed. Her father also prospered from this, bringing her with him on gambling trips as "Viel Glück", or Good Luck. She predicted his chances of winning and landed her family much fortune. However, she soon predicted that his gambling would cost him his life. Warning him was futile, and he continued to force her to help him win. Eventually, the locals of the small town they were in grew tired of his winning streak and attempted to force him to confess to cheating, which he stubbornly did not. When they demanded their money back and he refused, a near-riot broke out in the streets and he was left, beaten to death. It was then that Elizabet' decided to forge a new life for herself.

_____Strengths: He can beat any human in a fight with little effort, can regenerate over time (a stab wound will close over a few seconds, he can regrow limbs over the course of a few days), and can survive indefinitely underwater. He is an excellent swimmer, and has an advantage in water. He can also bite through nearly anything, except thick metals.


_____Weaknesses: He has the disadvantage of not being able to turn his power's off, so he usually walks on the surface under the cover of darkness. He can be shot, it is hard to stab him, and he is basically immune to blunt weapons, like punching and clubs. Tazers won't stop him, but they hurt him like hell.

Personality: Violent, as intelligent as the average human, tries to solve his problems with violence. He will try to kill anything that harms him. He is a guardian of sorts.


History: He doesn't know much about his past, but he knows that he has never been accepted. He lived in the bay for most of his life, but began traveling throughout the sewers in order to stay hidden. He has stopped countless back alley muggings, and has fed on the criminals, although rarely. He usually swam in the ocean to his food, but would and will still raid delis for raw meat, and the occasional smoked ham. He once encountered a human who seemed not to be phased by his appearance, that had a dark vibe around himself. He later found out that there were freaks, like him but not nearly as bad. He has been trying to find others like himself ever since.
