Fandom Marvel v DC: Absolution

Doomshroud

𝔻𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕞𝕖𝕣
--Marvel/DC--

A year has passed since it happened.

No one could have anticipated it. No man or woman saw it coming, mortal or otherwise. Who could have foreseen the world, space, time, reality, the universe itself being changed in one fell swoop? The skies themselves split apart after an uncanny period of silence; the silence before the storm. The earth was swallowed in an eerily purple light, an energy which ruptured across the vast universe itself.

Following the sudden cosmic storm that overtook creation, two totalities, unique in their own rights, were made into one absolute reality. The boundaries keeping realities apart was shattered by some cosmic force of unknown origin. The vibrations of the universe were disrupted, and in turn, the Marvel Universe and the DC Universe were merged into one.

What has been done cannot be undone. Battles will be fought, blood will be shed, heroes and villains alike will band together or war with one another as they adapt to this new existence. Our reality will never be the same, and as its extranormal inhabitants, we can only move forward in this brave new world that universe has mapped out for us. A new age is upon us, and the universe needn't any absolution for its emergence.

--Rules and Information--

Characters: This is a roleplay where the Marvel/DC universes have been merged into one. You can use established characters from either of those universes or create your own OCs, though there are some rules you should be made aware of. For starters, you need to accurately write established characters and know their limits (ex: Batman isn't a psychopath with magnetic powers, Joker is a homicidal clown). For stronger characters (ex: Superman, The Flash, Thor), don't go overboard with their abilities (ex: Infinite Mass Punches). Consider using their TV/Movie counterparts for reference when thinking of how powerful they should be. Lastly, characters at or above the level of Thanos/Darkseid can't be used (nor can OC's be stronger than them).

Do's/Don'ts: Don't Godmod (when your character automatically succeeds at something another character would have a reasonable chance of preventing. That goes for autohitting as well). Don't metagame (using OOC knowledge ICly, when logically, the character should not be aware of that knowledge). Selling/No Selling ( No-Selling is when you RP that all of another persons actions and attacks fail against you. This one is subject to a reasonable standard. Some characters are simple incapable of hurting others due to the powers involved, and it isn't required or logical for you to take EVERY hit that someone throws at you. However, remember, causing everything they do to fail without exception isn't fun RP).

Secret Rule: Read all of this? Good! Prove it by dropping some likes on this. If you don't drop any likes, your character sheet doesn't get accepted. Deal? Deal.

THE HALL OF JUSTICE....

An autumn breeze drifted about, keeping the afternoon cool and comfortable for the immeasurable citizens wandering the streets, going about their daily routines. Golden rays of sun shone through pillows of cloud, painting a glorious picture of nature's beauty. T'was another day for the average citizens of Washington DC. And yet, beyond the notice of masses, it was a day quite unlike any other...

In the Hall of Justice, the renowned superhero embassy and museum, a colorful assemblage of heroes from separate heroes had gathered under a banner of peace, cooperation, and unity. A year had passed since two parallel realities collided with one another, and in the beginning, cooperation was... far from a reality, to say the least. Heroes had been forced into a new reality filled with strangers, and as many do when faced with the unknown, they battled.

Today was different. The Civil War had come to an end. The heroes of the Avengers and the Justice League had finally had the chance to speak on cordial terms, and this meeting here today was an invitation to invite all heroes to come together and forge new ties with one another. The catchphrase for the assembly?

"The Best Is Yet To Come," said Green Arrow in a deadpan tone, shaking his head as he read the leaflet. "We gotta stop letting Superman come up with the mottos."

Greg's cellphone rang and he answered it. It was the ring that he set up specifically for customers seeking tech support.

"Hello, my name is Greg. How can I help you today?"

"Hi, Greg. I'm new in town and my phone is really bad, here. Could you tell me where I can find a steakhouse in town?"

"I'd be glad to help you, sir. Could you tell me which town you would like directions for, please?"

Not that he needed him to. Greg had traced the caller's IP address as soon as he answered the phone. In fact, he had already found every steakhouse in a 15 mile radius.

"Sure. I'm in Umatilla, Florida."

"Alright, Sir. Just give me one moment, please."

Greg had to make the call sound normal, even though it wasn't. He was born with the ability to trace the IP address of any internet capable device, even if the device's location feature was turned off. He did it all with his mind.

"OK, I've found 3 steakhouses within 15 miles of your location. As soon as you have a pen and paper ready, let me know and I'll be glad to tell you where they are, Sir."

"Thank you so much. I was just hankering for some beef!"

Greg always received good reviews and it was easy work, if he could call it work. The pay was decent, and he could work from anywhere with his cell phone. Still, he wanted to do more with his power, something that made a dfference. After finishing his call, he let out a sigh and longed for a change.

Raven - Titans Tower

Behind closed doors with the lights all of but one candle in the far end Raven had position herself with the back towards the door. Breathing in the light scent of incense and slowly letting it out she focused on her powers, especially the silence of them. Closing her eyes, letting the dark room consume her, Raven let her sences widden and herself relax. As an empath she felt every feeling in the tower, the hatred, the fear, the happiness and the deep friendship and love. She felt the lonleyness and the hope, the sadness and trust. This made Raven envious, she had never had this. Being born and raised with the learning that emotions are bad she never truely felt her own feelings, though she lived through others feelings. Taking the last deep breath she raised from her position and straighten her skirt with her hand. Being in the tower, she used her hero suit, she almost only used civil clothes going to school. She put out the candle and slowly opened the door to the hall, feeling it was empty she walk out of hee room and towards the kitchen. She consciously awoided the living room where Garfield sat watching one of his documentaries on Animal Planet.

Titans Tower

The soothing sound of liquid being poured into a mug sounded out quietly in the kitchen area of the large tower that the Teen Titans claimed their base of operations; in some cases their home as well. The kitchen had a warm golden glow that was emitted from the room because of the lights being on, and because of the room currently being in use. Soon the sound ceased, indicating that the one pouring the liquid was satisfied with the amount. There was a light thump as something was set down. Soon enough the merry tinkling of a spoon could be heard as something was stirred into the mug. This was a steady and consistent routine that rarely ever changed when a certain member and leader of the Titans resided in the tower. It rarely changed, and usually occurred after the leader returned from business; whether it be in Gotham or the city of Blüdhaven.

It was not long before Dick Grayson, otherwise known as Robin as his hero identity and formally to his teammates, had a cup of brewed coffee in one hand. A small puff of warm steam rose up mildly and curled lazily in the air above the rounded mug, indicating the temperature was just  right. The teen soon lifted the mug  up, taking in the strong and relaxing scent of the filmy brown and cream swirling liquid. He let out a long, deep exhale, his eyes momentarily closing. It was peaceful moments like this that were sorely needed, especially with the stress and tiring schedule that he had been through as of late. It had been a whole year now, since the unbelievable disaster that was now considered two whole worlds colliding and becoming one. But it had been a hard year, a very hard one to manage with adjusting to what had happened...  different beings from different places suddenly appearing and complete havoc breaking loose as a result.

During this time, he had had to lead the fairly newly formed Teen Titans through it, which had not been easy. Not to mention keeping special watch over Blüdhaven,  and supporting Batman in the situation at Gotham... eugh, Batman. Now that wasn't a pleasant topic to think about. Even after supporting his supposed partner in so many situations, and certainly proving himself competent in his own right time and time again, well... he wasn't a kid anymore, and didn't want to be seen as such, by Batman or anyone else. He felt it was time for a change, time for... for... well he couldn't be exactly sure what; though he was beginning to get the idea. Thoughts that concerned such topics just caused him to feel more exhausted and stressed then before, so he preferred not to focus on them at times like this.

Titans Tower was good place to refresh himself when he needed it, for while he focused on his duties as leader while there; it was also a place where he could enjoy the companionable atmosphere of various teammates inhabiting the same place together as living quarters. Also just the connection and friendship that all of them shared that made it all the more pleasant. The teen took a sip from the mug of coffee, calmly exhaling once more after he had done so. He was in uniform currently as Robin instead of perhaps wearing more casual attire; the main reason for this currently being he had just gotten back to the Tower not too long ago. Robin's masked eyes wandered downwards after taking a sip of his coffee, his cup being lowered slightly as his gaze came to wander to a pamphlet that he had temporarily set aside while making the coffee.

With his free hand the masked teen reached to pick it up, and inspect it while he drank his coffee. He knew what it was for already, some sort of assembly that the big heroes had planned up to get everyone together in order to resolve all the conflict and chaos that was going on. Tch. He wasn't fully convinced that it would work, but at least they were trying to do something about all of this. Dick took another sip from the mug, then absentmindedly set it down on a counter. He used both of his hands to read through the leaflet now, having mild interest in the contents of it. After looking through it, the motto for the whole assembly is what momentarily caught his attention. The masked teen quirked an eyebrow after reading it, somewhat amused. "The  Best is Yet to Come, huh?"

Robin reached one arm up and rubbed the back of his head; ruffling his unruly black hair in the process. A grin appeared on his face, as he was rather amused by the corniness of the saying. It felt pretty good to smile at something again. "Yeesh, who came up with that, Superman?" He said this lightheartedly as an exaggeration, as surely they would have known better then to have Superman  create the mottos for stuff like this... right? Dick then set the pamphlet down after reading all of it, and picked his coffee mug back up. He reached up and took another sip from it. For a moment as he drank his coffee his masked eyes glanced towards the entrance of the kitchen from the hall, thinking he had heard something in that direction. He didn't pay much mind to this for long, though, as it was certainly not uncommon to have someone pattering or wandering about.

He was in a pretty relaxed and good mood at the moment as he settled back into the routine he always had at Titans Tower, so company wouldn't be objected. Especially if it was Starfire. He enjoyed their talks that they might have, and confiding in her about things that caused him concern. But nevertheless, as he drank his coffee and felt less tired then he had earlier, this seemed to be a rather positive day. After all this assembly was a good sign that things could perhaps start to be worked out into some form of normalcy again; instead of the chaos that everyone had suffered through lately. And hope about that... well, that was something to be very relieved about.

Just outside of the Hall of Justice as this world called it Robert stood it the cool autumn air looking up thinking over all of the stuff that seemed to be happening so suddenly. As he snapped back into reality he noticed how crowded it was becoming now. "I suppose it wouldn't be everyday that the Avengers and Justice League meet together." He just did not understand why they were ever fighting in the first place.

He tried pushing his way through all of the people to get to the building so he could watch this momentous moment. Eventually he got close enough to get one of the leaflets. He laughed at how cheesy the words on the front were "Sounds like something Xavier would spout." He said the same time a man dressed all in green made a comment on the leaflet. He turned to get a better look at him seeing...green...everything.

In an attempt to introduce himself to the man next to him he reached out his hand to the man in green. "Hello there, names Robert Drake. Who might you be?" He asked with a curiosity and innocence in his voice.

Raven - Titans Tower

Just six souls, Raven thoght to herself, there are just six souls inside these walls. She could still feel them, evey single one of them. She was walking towards the one she felt the most confused about. The two other girls were easy, where Donna felt much she still fel into the solence beside Starfire, everyones feelings fell silent beside Starfire. Raven had a harder time concentrating her powers close to Starfire because she let her feelings invade Raven, let them overrule and be felt. This was also seen in Garfield, his animalistic side helped the anger inside him, but also the love he felt for everyone. The enjoyment in every step he took and the incredible insecurity she never truely felt in anyone els. Cyborg was often filled with hatred toward his father and his destiny, as so should be; his accident had destroyed his future as an athletic star. Wallece was not appearing for her, though he often only came alongwhen battle was due. Trying togo to collage and fight crime as a superhero was hard work. The last soul was present in the kitchen, and she felt it grow for every step she took closer. Richard was probably the soul she had the easiest time finding herself with, he had also learned a bit about hiding his feelings; working with Batman would probably do that to you. She could feel the sudden changes in his emotion and trying to not seem nosey she tried concentrating on something else.

Raven walked into the kitchen with confidence, showing the fact that she lived there. She opened the fridge eyeing the content and directing her hand towards a pre made sandwich.

"Hello, Richard. What is that?" She pointed at the paper in front of him. Closing the fridge and openingthe packaging she moved so she was standing closer then she really felt like, bupomrobably further away then most others would. She read the lines and took a bite of the sandwich. The best is yet to come, she thought aabout it. Two demensions clashing together was not horribly strange for her to understand asher parents were from one each, but as long as one of those not was in the blend she was feeling better about it. The other demension seemed to be much alike their own, not really making a difference for her. "This is about the strange things that has been happening, true?" She asked Richard.

Dick couldn't really admit to being surprised when someone walked unfalteringly into the kitchen and then made their way to the fridge. He wasn't aware of who it was at first except for some small hints from the manner of footfalls and pace, but it was only a moment before he casually glanced to the side and towards where the entering teammate was. He saw that it was Raven, and when he looked her way and realized this he offered a small smile in way of greeting. He didn't really have any misgivings or objections about her presence at this time; except for maybe the most private of thoughts that were stirred and rustled from the entrance and subject of the empath being brought to mind. He would have been pretty pleased to have the company of any of the Titans at this time, though, as having an actual companionable atmosphere and friendship with others was certainly preferable to lonely or estranged conditions he was used to spending time in otherwise.

He wasn't exactly starving  for company; he had gotten into the habit of preferring to being alone in some situations, but a little at a time like this was pretty nice to him. Still, when it came to Raven it was a bit difficult not to feel a bit of a lingering feeling of being uncomfortable when around her; a remnant of misgivings that were gradually being put to ease as time passed. While he didn't exactly feel openly uncomfortable or unsettled around Raven, it was  something that usually nagged at the back of his mind. He didn't concentrate on such thoughts much at all this time, however, not really in the mood to do so. He was feeling more relaxed then he usually let himself be; so any private misgivings were left to a temporary wayside.

The teen took a sip from his coffee. turning his attention to that momentarily as he inhaled and exhaled in smooth harmony with the sound of the sip. When Raven spoke a greeting to him, and then asked what something was, Richard first glanced at her; then what she was pointing at. He raised one eyebrow, starting slightly as he recalled his earlier thoughts about the pamphlet and what was on it. He first turned his head and nodded in response to Raven's hello, then looked back down towards what had been asked about.

"Oh, this?" Dick made a casual hand motion towards it; though the hand gesture was made with the hand he was using to hold his coffee mug. His mouth line, which for a short while been pressed into a neutrally straight line, now curved into the hints of a smile again because of amusement at what was on the paper. "An announcement for a big assembly the League's gonna have with the... Avengers, every hero invited." He explained this in a fairly relaxed manner, though hesitated a bit when it came to mentioning the team that was apparently known as the Avengers.

It was unfamiliar, to both mention it and think of it as a group that was on par with the Justice League when it came to having a large, powerful, and respected team. It was something that would have to be accepted in this altered reality, and adapted to. Since this assembly seemed to be the first step to doing that.. well, it couldn't hurt to have it. He still wasn't entirely optimistic about it, however. His opinion of the  Justice League and how they operated wasn't very high to begin with anyway, which didn't help his opinion of the whole matter very much.

He listened as Raven spoke again, guessing that the whole thing had to do with the strange things that had been happening lately. He reached and took another thoughtful sip from his coffee, then lowered the cup again. The young man nodded, now glancing in Raven's direction. "Yeah, that's it, Guess they finally decided to try to work out their differences in the right way." Richard mused this in a contemplative manner; though his expression became a grin for a moment or two. "Hopefully they're better at holding peace conferences than they are sending invitations." He joked this in a light hearted tone, even if he didn't necessarily expect much of a response in return to that sort of humor.

Even after his time of working with the most serious of individuals, Dick sometimes enjoyed to casually joke and tease at times to lighten the mood at appropriate moments; just he usually didn't really expect much of a response. He set down his cup of coffee after speaking, satisfied with it for the moment. He kept his gaze on Raven most of the time, though, as he spoke with her; soon asking a question of his own while again slightly raising an eyebrow. "Any of that sound interesting to you?" He didn't ask the question too seriously, as he doubted that the response would be anything too enthusiastic, but still he was curious to know.

Richard was interested in her opinion about it mostly, which would be nice to hear or discuss. Conversation about the topic was something he wouldn't mind having; even though he wasn't sure if Raven would prefer to converse too much at the moment or not. Either way, there was no harm in trying anyway, and letting her know of the whole event. He should probably inform the other Titans too, if they would be interested.. but that could wait for now. Currently relaxing in the kitchen for a few more minutes before starting up the regular routine would be most preferable... since the times were rather rare, nowadays.

"Green Arrow," Oliver said with a smile, keen not to reveal his secret identity as the man before him surprisingly had. He rested his emerald compound bow on the nearest table, firmly shaking Robert's hand as he considered the fact that he'd never heard of this hero. Must be one of the newguys. Or from the other dimension, which would technically make him... not a new hero? Maybe? Nevermind, my head hurts.

"I don't suppose you're from that other reality?" He asked, genuinely curious. It was remarkable how little he knew about the parallel dimension given that the realities had merged a mere year ago.

@Seraph

Greg walked outside and down the block. He enjoyed the brisk morning air, it helped to clear his head. He found it to be a daily routine, now.

The last year wasn't very eventful for him. He knew of others with powers, so when new ones showed up, it wasn't a surprise. He'd even seen a few in his town.

It made him envious of their ability to fight crime. What could he do? After chasing a thug, he could inform him that a police station is 4.3 miles northwest of their current location. Surely the criminal would head there on his own and turn him self in.

Hah, yeah right. Greg sighed at this thought and turned to head back home.

The wind gusted and blew something in front of him. Greg bent over and picked it up. It was a pamphlet, a poorly worded one at that. The best is yet to come? What is this, a 'life coach' meeting? He felt sorry for anyone who was willing to pay to hear someone spout out impersonal compliments and flattering words.

Greg didn't need all that. He was plenty motivated, he just didn't know how to improve his situation. He balled up the pamphlet and tossed it in a nearby trashcan. The walk just made him feel worse, so he went back home to try something different. He was determined to not be in a bad mood.

Superhero meeting. Superhero meeting. Kamala was trying desperately not to freak out, but alas as soon as she entered the Hall of Justice that plan was thrown to the wolves. "The best is yet to come." Kamala read off of the leaflet. The best is yet to come? Could this possibly get any better? She was in a room full of superheroes and she was going to take advantage of it. She tried to sneak around to get some good ideas for future fanfics. Most heroes seemed pretty cool with the merging of the two universes and stood by eagerly telling tales of their respective original universes. Other groups seemed a little awkward but they were trying. And then there was the occasional group of people that didn't seem to want anything to do with people of the opposite world. She stopped in her tracks. Superhero gathering... Photo opportunity! She pulled her cell phone from her pouch bracelets and looked around for the best spot to go to. There was one spot along the wall where there didn't seem to be too many people so she scurried over there. An aerial view would be best. Using her powers she elongated her legs until she was way above the crowd. Wait Kamala. Taking pictures of unsuspecting people is a little creepy. The thought popped into her head and she scowled. "Why do I have to have morals now" She whispered to herself. Scanning the crowd again though she grinned from ear to ear. "Guess I'll just have to commit this to memory and then write it all down later." After getting an eyeful and making mental notes on who was talking to she shrank her back down to normal size and blended in with the crowd waiting for whatever 'the best' was.

Murai hadn't stopped moving for at least two hours. Everyone was excited about the anniversary of the two realities merging and the meeting between the Justice League and the Avengers. I should be there, she thought as she handed another customer their drink and began the next order. She was Soul after all, but by the time she made it to the Hall of Justice and back, she would be late to class. The crowd was huge today and she could barely hear the live reporting at the Hall of Justice. Maybe I should just go.

"Murai, another caramel mocha." Her colleague informed her.

"Got it!"

Ugh, I should just join the Teen Titans...

Raven - Titans Tower

Raven listen closely to Richards word, following his movements with her eyes. She let him speak to finish and looking towards nothing in particular she started thinking. Did it sound interesting to her, she asked herself. Yes it did. She knew the importance in everyone knowing about everyone, and the misunderstandings that could emerge if not. Though a meeting that big would probably not be the best way to merge the two biggest team together, it was a bigger chance it would let hell break out. Merging dimensions had never worked well, and the dimension with The Avengers was no dimension Raven had heard of, not even at her time in Azarath. Raven shifted the weight, unknown dimensions could be really dangerous.

"Richard" she started, thinking through her words as she laid them before the two titans. "I do not know if this dimension they came from is good, nor if it is necessary evil." She paused, again shifting her weight. Raven hesitated before she continued. "I can take us there", she said "I am an empath, I can feel if they mean evil." Raven looked down at her half eaten sandwich before putting it down. She offered herself to do the exact thing Zatanna had done before she denied Raven the help she desperately needed.

"We should give it a chance, we should at least consider it an opportunity to know what is really happening" Raven looked towards Richard, or rather through him. She hold a silent smile, not big but at least an effort of a smile. "Do you not want to know, Richard? Is this not something you desire? The Biggest meeting, all of us should be there, and if not being there for an alliance, then we should be there to know our enemy", she closed her cloak around her thanking herself for meditating earlier. "I can make the teleportation."

Greg was in the mood for coffee and he knew of a coffee shop just a block from his apartment. He threw on a t-shirt and walked down the street. He didn't drink coffee often, but he always ordered the same thing when he did.

As he opened the front door, a bell rang, signalling his entry. As it turned out, he had arrived at the right time: there was no line at that moment. He approached the counter and said,

"Hello, there. I would like a RAF Coffee, if you have it here. It's my favorite."

He wasn't sure if they carrried the Russian drink, but it was worth a shot. Perhaps the young woman could even brew up a facsimile of it. Most of the ingredients were common enough.

@Arya Barnes

The rush had just finished and Murai leaned against the counter to take the weight off her feet. The two other baristas had taken the last few orders, but they were both busy when another customer came in.

"I have time, sir. That will be $4.00. It'll be done in a few minutes." Murai smiled at him and waited for him to pay before going to make it.That was an easy drink for her to make and after it was done she could take a break.

As she delivered it to him, she gave another smile and went to go get her own coffee. Maybe a RAF coffee for herself.

Greg pulled out a 5 dollar bill and handed it to her.

"Thank you."

He took his change, his coffee, and a seat at the counter in front of the TV. His first sip was enough to let him know- she was a good barista.

"Mmm, this is perfect! You did a great job."

"Your welcome." Murai quickly paid for her own RAF coffee and a cookie. A few minutes later, she was sitting in the corner, watching one of the televisions and sipping her coffee.

"Maybe I should just fly there and join in the festivities," she said to no one, but a few people looked at her.

I'm a superhero! I'll just sneak out the back and change and then fly off. But I'm crap at directions. She put her head on the counter and sighed.

@Shmuel

Greg was enjoying his Raf when something on the TV caught his eye. A superhero conference? How didn't he hear about it?

"Today is a momentous occasion, as two superhero teams from two very different worlds take the first step towards cooperation. The motto of the event is: 'The best is yet to come!' I, for one, would like to think they are right."

"Oh my god! I'm such a durachit!"

With that, Greg banged his head on the counter a couple times, then just left it there in self-pity.

Richard waited patiently while Raven thought about what he had explained, willing to wait as long as was needed for her opinion about the matter. He valued her opinion and evaluation about many kinds of situations, partly due to her status as an empath and foresight of certain things as well. He knew that she had a certain perception as well, and understood matters probably much better than he did in some cases. The leader gave a slight start, and turned his attention on Raven entirely when she spoke, beginning by addressing him. He listened thoughtfully and considerably to what she was saying; which was first about the other dimension.

He wasn't too surprised nor really blaming Raven for not knowing whether the foreign dimension was necessarily an evil or good one. From the past year since the apparent collision of both dimensions, there hadn't really been anything to determine or indicate the exact answer to that either way. It was potentially very dangerous; that much had been proven quite a great deal already. He knew that it be wise to investigate the nature of the majorities of entities that were from the dimension, as the Titans' experience with other dimensions... made investigating fairly unknown ones have significant merit.

What struck the teen in particular about what Raven was saying after a short hesitation, was the suggestion that she could take them to the large assembly, to the meeting of all the heroes. The fact that she pointed out also that she was an empath would also be a great help in the situation. They did need to know if these others could be true enemies; for the sake of the team, the city they protected... and the world. It would be useful as well to determine whether the heroes from the other dimension could be stable allies.

As Raven continued to make her point about the usefulness of them going, he steadily returned her gaze as she looked at him. Dick's expression was contemplative and thoughtful as he considered each statement as the leader of the team should. It could be dangerous if things didn't go as planned, but it could be worth it if they could become fully aware of the majority of residents of the foreign dimension. He had full confidence in his team, anyway; they could handle themselves no matter what potentially could happen in such a large and diverse meeting.

He listened to what else Raven said, which did well in convincing him further about it being a idea to go to the assembly. Richard really had been considering that ever since he had looked at the invitation for it. His teammate being able to take them there by teleportation was quite convenient, and pretty useful too. As he had been before he was pretty thankful that Raven was a part of their team sometimes; not to mention that she had formed it again in the first place. After his companion finished speaking, he was quiet for a short while.  The teen lifted one hand to his chin, and rubbed it thoughtfully.

His masked eyes had a narrowed look, the eyehole slits becoming thinner than usual. "Hm...." Richard glanced downwards while thinking, having a mild frown on his face as he did so. It wasn't too long before he looked back up at Raven, making a decision. It was a clear choice to him, and one that would be a wise one for the team as well. He lowered his hand from his chin and then nodded in official agreement to what the other had said. 'You're right, Raven."

He said this decisively, still frowning, though it wasn't an expression that meant he was displeased or upset; rather that he was just being serious at the moment. He straightened up significantly while speaking, and making his decision. It would mean a new mission for the team.. all of them, unless some members were unavailable. He was a bit uncertain about that particular detail. "We should go. All of us. Unless...." While saying this, the leader glanced in the direction f the entrance of the kitchen, thinking about the others and whether or not they would be available to go to such an event; whether or not they all should.

He thought about this for some time, since it would matter what their next move would be when it came to going to something like this. Richard glanced to the side and away from Raven meanwhile, beginning to muse aloud. "Maybe we should go ahead first, and get the others if this is something worth all of us attending... and if they're interested." The unspoken part of what he said but was quite valid in his mind was if it's safe enough. He then looked back at Raven, one eyebrow furrowed. "And as long as you won't strain yourself too much making the teleportation." The leader said this with  genuine concern, wanting to be careful about that possibility.

He wasn't necessarily concerned about Raven's abilities or teleportation being too much for her. not in a long shot; but it was something he felt necessary to make sure that it wouldn't be too much of a tiring or draining procedure. It was something he could check up on as a teammate and a friend. Dick glanced down towards the empath's half eaten sandwich, and a grin began to appear on his own expression. He spoke up once more; in a playfully teasing way this time. "You sure you don't want to finish that before we go?" The masked teen used one hand to indicate the sandwich. He stretched out both of his arms a bit after this, grunting as he did so. After stretching slightly, he looked back towards Raven, his grin now more of a rueful and yet anticipant smile. "It's gonna be a long day like always."

In the moment where she'd elongated herself above the colorful crowd, Green Arrow's gaze had fallen upon her (or rather, risen towards her). He frowned as she proceeded to shrink back down, bemusement written across his hooded features, which was quickly replaced with amusement. That's... unusual.

Walking up to her past the hordes of heroes, his emerald bow compacted and draped upon his jet black quiver, Oliver remarked, "Something tells me you and Plastic Man would get along just fine." Chuckling, he offered a hand to shake hers. "Green Arrow."

Miles Tightly held his invitation in his hand and walked into the just League building. As he walked down the hall the thoughts of what had happened the previous year flowed in his find. It was weird, civilly talking to people who he was told were his enemies. He had never really been able to do this since his foes beforehand weren't as rational as these people were. He remembered how he wasn't very useful in the battles he had fought in. Back then he wasn't that good at using his powers effectively, even now he still isn't. He had a lack of experience that showed up in everything he did and that made miles a bit nervous or at the very least embarrassed.

The young hero came from Brooklyn N.Y. to D.C. He was thankful it wasn't a very far trip. He is pretty sure that other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents would be coming.

Miles when the whole combination of the universe thing happened. He had just been accepted into S.H.I.E.L.D. He was training when Doctor Strange had ran in yelling about how the very fabrics of the universe were tearing apart  and a rift would be created that would combine our and another dimension. Naturally, Everyone there, including Miles were all freaked out and were disappointed to hear that there nothing that could be done. Then the rest is history.

Once he got to the meeting spot, He saw that a few others were already there. "hello," he said a bit nervously.

Kamala bounced from foot to foot. "Green Arrow? Like... the Green Arrow? Wow what an honour." She took his outstretched hand and pumped it enthusiastically. "I'm Ms.Marvel! So if I may ask... what's the meeting for? I mean, this is pretty great and all meeting all of these heroes but the handout is super exciting like is there some sort of world catastrophe or are we going to all train together or work together?" She gasped to get her breath. Wow the excitement was real. She noticed a friend and waved him over. "Spidey! This is the Green Arrow. The Green Arrow. Neat right?" She gestured to Miles. "This is Spider-Man. Sooo... You mentioned Plastic Man. I'm guessing he's from your universe. No offense but the heroes from over seem so gloomy and serious." She raised her arms and wiggled her fingers like an animated ghost.

Well shit.

the demon utters under his breath. Well today has been the definition of disaster, his target had gotten away, he broke a nail, tore a hole in a brand new pair of jeans, someone's gorgeous convertable earned a dent to the left fender and most of all a 7-11 was set ablaze. So how did all this happen?

-rewind-

isroh was sitting around in an ice cream parlor, finding pleasure in the little things in life- er- death? Either way, the little things, when he noticed a rather menacing looking demon stalking some humans. It'd be rather cruel to let it just devour who so ever it chose. So Isroh decided when better to be a good person? Well through a confrontation he discovered that said demon could spew fire and the fight was rather horrible. Vines and fire didn't mix well and in the haze he got away.

And now Isroh stood in the street watching a gas-station burn. Talk about an eventful weekend. The Windego groans in pure annoyance trying to figure out how on god's green earth he was going to fix this. Eventually the fire apartment arrived and he kind of decided to step out and let them do their job, seeing as fires weren't really his thing.

He decided to take a walk, glamoured in his human disguise, nothing but his bright silver eyes giving away what he truly was. He grabbed a starbucks on the way and decided to pay the Hall of Justice a visit. He'd never been inside, but he enjoyed the looks of the outside. It was kind of relaxing to go there and people watch.

(shitty intro post is shitty. But hey. Chaos right?)

The man Murai had just made a coffee for banged his head against the counter then just sat there. She scooted closer to him and touched his shoulder. "Sir, are you ok? Do you need anything?"

@Shmuel

Greg felt a hand on his shoulder and heard,

"Sir, are you OK? Do you need anything?"

He looked up at the young woman and saw her face hovering close by. He hadn't paid much attention before, but he then realized just how beautiful she was. It took him a moment to reply.

"I...I could be better. That conference on the television? I could've been there! I'm such a fool."

His eyes went out of focus as if he was looking through her.

"The meeting is being held 32.6 miles west-northwest of here. If I ran non-stop at an average of 3 MPH, taking the fastest route by foot, it would take me 9 hours and 53 minutes to get there.

"The subway would only take 51 minutes from the nearest station, but I still have walk to the station first, and it might be over by then."

Greg sighed and said to himself,

"So much for change...."
