[Concord]

The guy in the leather jacket burst into a veritable fit of laughter at the Asian boy calling himself Jackson. A.J. couldn't help but join in. It was so obviously a fake name. He was about as far from a Jackson as you could get.

He took the new section of cable and attached it in, his hands carefully avoiding any loose ends that could shock him. With a slight stretch of his arm, he managed to attach the cable into its rightful place. Flipping the breaker caused the room to light up again. There was only one more circuit left, which as after would have it, was the one for the gym.

Leather jacket guy warned him about getting shocked, kind of a redundant warning, as he was nearly done, but the gesture was appreciated. "then lucky for the school, this ain't my first time interfering with power supplies"

Then he made some joke about not dying as it would be bad for the school.

"Well luckily for the schools reputation I didn't die when I arrived here a few weeks ago"

It was the response of "Jackson" that piqued his interests. Now here was a story he wanted to hear.

(since no one else is in the gym that's on currently we're just gonna write something small)

Given that they were doing morning warm ups, Jason was able to sneak his way into the locker room to change into something more suitable. Nothing special, a red hoodie, joggers, and his boots swapped for trainers. His body entirely on autopilot as he did whatever stretch was required of him.

A.J. turned around to look at Scott. "Jackson, huh?" He said with a grin making air quotes around the word "Jackson". "I am so calling you that from now on" there was a mischevious gleam in his yellow-green eyes. He turned to Clark. "I don't know your name, but it's probably not Jackson. I'm A.J. by the way"

He carefully reached up and detached the second fried wire. Clearly somebody had run way too much current through it. He wondered who and why. He would probabaly find out soon enough.

Rai was headed to gym, working on getting her human ruse back up. It took a bit but she eventually got it and kept the aura surrounding her as suppressed as she could. That being said she nearly walked right by the breaker box that the men were trying to fix. She looks up and immediately stops in her tracks. She backs away about three steps, not wanting to break that too. She noticed the fried wires that were pulled out and onto the floor. So that’s what happened when rai touched raw wires. They all blew.

“Sorry again about that. I really did try to fix it... made it worse.” She hums as she moves to go literally as far away from the breaker box as she can, hugging the other wall to try to not affect it as best she can.

“So where is gym class supposed to be?” She asks, arms crossed and at least trying to be friendly.

Scott couldn't help to smile at the Irish guy, who had introduced himself as A.J. Not a very Irish sounding name, but he was not one to judge. "I don't mind if you call me Jackson, but for the reference it's actually Scott"

Then Rai walked in, staying noticeably as far away from the breaker box as possible. He shrugged "at least you got us out of sports for a bit. So that makes up for it. But this guy" he gestures at A.J. "seems to be able to fix it, so it's not permanent" he snipped the new length of cable.

"as for where it is, I manged to get a map of this place, and luckily it is not far"

A.J. laughed, "oh trust me, of anybody accidentally destroys a school it'll be me....again." He liked these two already "its nothing too complicated, just some trip switches and two completely fried wires, its easy"

Clark spoke and then listened to the other one and laughed slightly at that. "Is that so? Well, makes sense. So trust me I can do that too, if I do certain things when my powers go nuts! It happens to me at times, so no ruining anything but pretty close to it," he said to him. " Well, as long as it's easy that's good enough,"

Rai sighs in relief at least she didn’t blow anything too badly. “That’s good. I was a bit worried about that. I did try to tell them me messing with electrical stuff was not a great idea. But they didn’t listen.” Rai shrugs. She couldn’t see that as being her fault. They can’t say they weren’t warned. Well they can. They didn’t give her a chance to explain why it was a bad idea. But she did ask them to fix it.

“I’ll head there in a bit. But I’m kind of curious about this. Mind if I stand over here and watch for a bit. Like. Way over here?” She asks. She’d Never been able to see the inside of anything mechanical before. As soon as she touched things they stopped working. This was interesting to say the least.

Scott laughed "you got any wire on you?" as he spoke he leaned forwards, looking at the complicated jumble of wires. "this wiring has got to be a fire hazard."

"Wire no but if powers get out of hand I might kill the school. Especially when I lose control! So My eyes might be wires in away, " Clark said with a slight laugh at the last part. " It has to be, if not careful," he said to him. Clark tried his best friend to help the two.

A.J. turned to Clark "glad to know im not the only one who has powers that go crazy sometimes" he ripped out the second burnt wire, throwing it to the ground. He turned to look at Rai briefly before turning back to his work. "i don't mind at all, im used to having an audience."

A.J. turned around to see yet another boy enter the room. How come every guy he had seen so far in the school was really good looking? He was grinning at the other two boys, who he still needed to get the names of.


He turned to the Asian boy "I do actually" before he turned to Jasons "someone's gotta fix the power around here. So I volunteered myself, also I really do not want to go to gym right now"

Clark glanced as another person walked in. Clark then looked between all of them with a kind smile on his face. "Well, looks like we all got the same idea,"

Scott looked at Clark and A.J. with newfound interest, so there were others who couldn't control their powers. That certainly made him feel a lot better about staying in this school. He passed up the piece of cable to A.J.

"The more people work on that the better. Besides, if being honest, I rather that then cheating! Due to the way I am it would be pretty much cheating. Time to take care of that issue and then handle other things. Better before there is a fire here,"

Rai blinks, so it wasn’t just her. Suddenly her illusions drop again. Although the devil didn’t notice. Concentration spells were so hard for non-mage demons.

“That’s alright. Sometimes new demons in hell cant control themselves either. But then again they have a whole sand box of expendable wasteland to learn. I on the other hand had to learn a minor illusion spell before I came here... and I am not a mage.” Rai groans as she sits on the floor watching the wires get switched out.

“So wires. Still trying to figure out how I messed them up.”

A.J. pulled out a long length of singed wire and dropped it on the ground, landing on the rude guy's feet. The wire was completely burnt through and crispy. With his other hand he pulled out a spool of cable and a pair of serious looking mini-wire cutter from his pocket which he tossed to the Asian boy.

In response to the "try not to burn the school down" comment he said "yeah, yeah, yeah, heard it all before"

Clark looked at them as he tried to fix the wires and sighed, even if he didn't need that. "Well, as long as no one annoys anyone, I think everything is going to be fine," he said to them all.

A.J. looked at the girl who was now it seemed some kind of demon. He shrugged, he had chosen to come to this school, so he was just going to have to accept what life threw at him. She mentioned having to earn an illusion spell to hide herself "illusions only last for so long. Eventually you have to stop hiding and face reality and that kind of shite"

"somehow you managed to run a massive amount of electric current though them, which basically melted the wire. Im swapping it point for a much stronger cable with better resistance" He fiddled around and then yanked the cable into place. It fit perfectly. Kudos to Scott for his cutting. "Jackson, you want to do the honours?"

Scott looked at A.J. when he spoke

"illusions only last for so long. Eventually you have to stop hiding and face reality and that kind of shite"

This guy was wise, that's for sure. He laughed and accepted the offer of doing "the honours". He climbed up and flipped the last breaker, causing the final set of lights to turn on again. He couldn't help but smile as he replaced the panel and handed back the mini wire cutters.

"at some point we should re-do the entire school. You up for that A.J.?"

Rai shrugs. “Last time I lost it, Mr.Banner got mad at me. I have to think about the spell all the time or it falls.” Bit of a tricky situation. If anyone even spoke to her it ran the risk on making her lose her illusions. Rai was not at all a shape changer, all she could do is bend perception on top of what she really looked like.

“Makes sense. Devils disrupt electrical devices. Phone get it the worst. Sometimes lights go out near me but this is the first time I’ve ever actually touched a live wire. Apparently I have to not to that again.” Yes the wire Rai touched was live. But it was hard to fry someone who had already died. “Hey if you do redo the school it’ll be harder for me to do that again. I hope.”

A.J. couldn't help but grin too. He ran his hand through his spiky red hair. "I am totally up for that. I'm sure along the way we will find some other problems that need fixing."He turned to Rai "hopefully" he lapsed into thought "maybe there is some type of wore that is immune to your effects, I should look into that." he pulled out a small notebook from one of his many pockets and scribbled something in it.

"I suppose we should head to gym now"

Scott nodded "that's sucks, at least my other half doesn't require constant concentration.." hetrailed off, realising he had said that out loud. To distract himself he turned to A.J."we probably should head. What do you think they are going to make us do? Do you think we'll be able to use our abilities? Or will it be something dumb like dodgeball?"

Clark watched Scott with curiousity. Jackson? he thought with curiousity. Clark then looked at A. J as he listened to him. "My name is Clark
So yeah, Definitely not Jackson. I am originally from Smallville near Metropolis but here for school so yeah! Nice to meet you A. J and 'Jackson', " he said to A. J but the last part was directed at Scott.

Clark hot rid of two burned out wires buy almost short circuited the whole area. Luckily he didn't so. Clark listened to A.J surprised but slightly relived that he wasn't the only one but was worried too."Yeah, same so worried too. I am so not used to being near people like me, well with powers not anything else that it's different," he said to him. Clark then turned to see Rai and then looked back at A.J.

Clark looked between them and sighed, so he didn't need to. "Heading to the gym is a good idea but if need to run, I better seat as I would be cheating and I rather not cheat. It will be in my permanent record and no need that," he said. " Guys let's hope it's going to be something involved training powers,"
