Lydia's eyes widened like a deer in the headlights when he mentioned powers. She couldn't believe someone would be so open about that but maybe that was just how she was raised. She guessed she shouldn't be so surprised, this was a place where people were taught to control their powers after all. It'd just take some getting used to. She rubbed the back of her head. "Yeah that is something I'm a little antsy to get started on myself" she said.Damon shakes her hand "Just bored is all and wanting classes to start so I can learn test my powers and all that" he says stuffing his hands into his pocket

“Yeah...” Lydia wished she could say she wasn’t a monster with that kind of confidence. “I’m just here to learn how to control myself” she admitted.Damon says "Yeah I'm here to show two people that I'm sonething bigger then a monster"
“Well if you’re bored would you like to look around with me”? Lydia asked, she wasn’t really sure why. She just figured it may not be the best idea to walk around alone with a lockdown still going on at one part of the school.
Lydia hadn't expected to be taken up on the offer but she didn't miss a beat. "Well, I was just heading down this hall. It only seems to be locked off around one side of the building so we should be fine exploring around here, of course I'm not exactly sure where anything is" Lydia explained rubbing the back of her head as she spoke. "Down here's probably fine" she said as she began to head down the hallway.
There isnt a map yet. Entrance is at the front, on right ahead is admin office and principal office. Past that is elevator
