I'm hereeeeeee~
Okay so first, I don't really care about posting order. For the first post I would like everyone to give out a starter, but after that go ham.- How many players are you aiming for? How many will you comfortably handle?
- How stringent would posting order be? Will each person act in turn, or can a pair of players engage in an extended back-and-forth conversation without feedback from other players?
- Are you intending that players cooperate to form handler / supernatural pairs with our main characters? Or would we be better suited to creating our own partner as a side-character?
I've got some ideas in mind. Some are whole new ideas, others are setting-appropriate conversions of some characters I've played in other cyberpunk games. Actually, one of my PCs from a cyberpunk TTRPG might adapt perfectly into this setting.

I'm thinking of a small group, no more than six players including myself. So it's really a first come first serve and woo me with your character sheets lol. As for how many I can comfortably handle....I currently have another group that has had 16 different characters at one point and I'm pretty sure I handled that fine. It's still going and it's been 7 months? This rp in particular might be a little hard to have so many people though.
I'm intending to place people in pairs. One Moroi for every Handler. I'd prefer not to make you play your own Handler just because eventually that might become a bit tedious, but if we don't have enough people for pairs I might consider it.
Sure! I wouldn't mind that. You can keep whichever character you can't play as an NPC if you'd like. So they're still there in the background maybe as part of another division or something but we can talk about that laterAlriiiight, sounds good. Very definite interest. I'll mull over some character ideas for either position. When character sheets are prepared and submission is ready, would you be willing to let me submit two character sheets, one for each role? Not to play both as a main, but to give myself options? The foremost character I have in mind would be a Moroi, but in these kinds of RPs the 'monster' side of the pair tends to get a lot of attention, whereas the human side tends to be neglected. I'd like to prep a 'main' CS for the handler and moroi role for flexibility, if you'd be open to that.
We're going to start in Sector 5. Division 9 is located in that sector because that's where it was first formed. Though they aren't really at a police department. They conduct themselves a little differently and have a house that they all stay in. (It's part of the whole make sure the Moroi are supervised thing). I'm working on putting some more basic info together for us and I'll throw that in to the thread when I make it.Which police dep you planning to dump us in Supreme One ?
The occult in this world is really just like how it is in our own. It's the belief in the supernatural, mystical, or magical, either in practice or the phenomena. For instance, we all know about vampires and werewolves and what not. Humans in this world share those same folktales and lore, but in every story there is a thread of truth. Like the whole Vampires can't go in sunlight thing? A pure myth, but because of the fact that Moroi are mainly nocturnal and hate sunlight that myth has been fed into.tell me more about the occult aspect of the rp/characters please?

Humans don't have them. All the powers that Moroi and half breeds have are described in the interest check. There's nothing crazy supernatural with this, they're vampires so at most I'd say that Moroi can be incredibly charming. Which feeds into the whole "seduction" element of vampire mythos. And what of supernatural abilities and powers?
Seems very interesting! I love stories driven by the character progression, so I'll post up a character sheet one way or another whenever the thread is ready.
