Fantasy Malcof's Children

"Hrm... Well" Jayce put his arms behind his back and kicked the ground. "Their not actually furry people. It's kinda of a dress up thing they do. Found that out the hard way, BUT," he emphasized the 'but'. "Apparently some people do that dress up thing all the time. So... some of us could claim to be into that kind of thing."

"Can i? Who said i wouldnt?" Helen asked confidently and shook her head at the mention of furries." You know too much for your mental age." She said to Jayce chuckling." Well, it is not the worse ideas you had but it will still draw attention."

Alice climbed up the stairs and walked into Father's office. They weren't Really allowed to go in there without premission so it felt really weird to Alice. She walked over to his old desk and opened the top left drawer. In there was a small Brown book that father told her about. She quickly snagged it and made her way down stairs. With a small smile she handed the book over to Julian.

[sorry if it seems off. I'm doing this from my phone]

Jayce pulled his eyelid down with his middle finger and stuck his tongue out at Helen. "I don't have bad Ideas." He grabbed his sack and began rummaging through it." From his sack he took out a Logbook full of his exploits and adventure. "You know I may know a guy. He helped me out once..... I'm pretty sure his name was... Hyde."

When Alice returned with their fathers contact book, Jayce jumped up to kiss her on the cheek. "Thank you for being such a doll Sis."

Alice's eyes widened in shock. Why did he just kiss me?! Alice thought. It was kinda weird in her opinion, but kept that to herself. "Y-Your welcome? B-Be safe." Alice mumbled, still in shock. Alice wasn't one for physical contact so it made her feel uncomfortable.

Alice blinked hard as she felt a migraine come on. She put her left hand to her temple and rubbed it, hoping the pain would fade away. She wanted to whimper at the sever pain she was feeling. She grabbed as cool glass of water hoping to would ease the pain, which it did not.

"Yeah, you do. Like the night we broke into father's liqueur cabinet to test alcohol. Remember the morning after."Helena retorted shaking her head, remembering the hangover and Malcof telling off. She found it surprisingly nostalgic, sighing sadly. She noted Alice looking il and approached her. "You ok?"

"You okay?" was the only thing that snapped Alice into reality. Alice smiled gently at Helen. "Yeah..." Alice replied. Alice prayed Helen bought her lie. Who would believe a girl who started day dreaming? She saw herself as a child playing with an older boy who looked somewhat like her. Alice knew this wasn't her reality so it really confused her. I wish father was still here... Maybe he could help me...

"Hey come on... You looking at the master of hiding or pretending illness."Helena said doubtful crossing her arms."Come on spill, if you can't tell one of us now who can you."

Tony stayed silent, the bat-hybrid listening to his siblings speak. He had pushed his bowl of soup, still untouched, away from him, and was now leaning his head upon the table, clearly not in the mood for any form of social interaction. After all, even on a good day he was quiet, but now he seemed to have given in to his depressive moods, and clearly wanted to just be left alone, to go to his room and curl into a ball

"I wanted to make a Molotov cocktail. YOUR the one who started lapping it up." Jayce pulled out a chair net to Tony and sat down. "You know if you don't cheer up I'll start singing my happy song." He said as he thumbed through his logbook, "You know how much you like my singing."

Tony lifted his head at that, "Please don't Jayce..." He grumbled, wishing that his siblings realised just how sensitive his ears were, seeing as he was a bat hybrid, and bats relied a lot on their hearing. He didn't think he'd last 5 seconds if Jayce started to sing. So he just placed his head back on the table, trying to drown out the noise with his thoughts

"Okay, I won't sing if you get me the phone." He had his finger placed on a certain page of his logbook, "I probably could have written this a bit nicer..." He said to himself.

Tony grumbled, but slowly moved to go and retrieve the object. He was in such a upset mood that he couldn't even be bothered to keep his wings up, and they dragged along the floor. He returned with the phone, placing it quietly in front of the other before returning to his spot

"PICK YOUR WINGS UP," Jayce said in a stern disciplinary voice, "If you don't you'll rip them." When Tony returned with the phone Jayce picked it up and started dialing the number that his finger was on. Humming as he pressed each number. The number belong to a Hyde Jackson.

Alice flinched a little at Helen's words. Alice didn't want to be a bother for anyone, but if she's were to lie one more time to Helen she had a feeling she would tell the others. "M-Migraine..." was all Alice said. Alice didn't need to tell her that she dreamed of something so real she could smell the flowers in the dream, or that she remember the warmth of the boys hands as he held her hands.

"Oh poor dear."Helena said with genuine concern, placing her hand on Alice shoulder."I think we still have some paracetamol in the kitchen that might help. Otherwise youn just have to grin and bare it I am afraid."

Alice shook her head and waved away Helen's concern. "I-It's okay...I'll be fine..." Alice said softly. "Thank you H-Helen." Alice said a little louder. "I'm sure I'll be okay l-later." Alice smiled a closed eye smile. Alice really didn't want to bother anyone.

Tony silently picked them up a little at his siblings order, but allowed them to drop again on defeat a few moments later, when he rested his head back upon the table. He just wanted to be left alone really, because trying to ignore people's conversations was getting on his nerves

Julian held onto the book Alice had gotten for him and stood next to Jayce, "Once Jayce and I find a place in the city we can safely be at, then we can move everyone there, or at least anyone who wants to go." He nodded as if to confirm it for himself, then looked down at Jayce, "What is this thing anyways? You're just pushing it, how is that going to help us." Julian frowned a little as he watched Jayce play with the rectangular block.

Jayce looked at the phone with confusion and hung up, "That's weird, he didn't pick up. I'm sure I wrote the number down correctly."He slouched back in his chair with his legs crossed tapping his chin, "OH WELL!" He hoped from the chair and walked over to his sack. "That's a phone, enter the right combination of numbers and you can talk to people. Dad kept the Dad kept the cool things to himself. Anyways if we're going to make a decision we should make one now." From his sack he pulled out a pistol, with five bullets in the clip, then shoved it into Julian's hand. "Smell that." He said before going back to his sack taking out several small items and putting them into the pockets on the belt he wore around his chest. "The city we'll be going to is Qu City... Oh, I don't remember if I told you guys or not, but since Dad got sick some people have been wondering around our forest. Not sure what that's all about" When Jayce finished getting his supplies from his sack he placed a radio on the table. "Dad said this is something called a satellite radio. They work JUST like a walk-e-TALK-E. Aren't they cool?" He said holding one in his hands, "We'll keep in touch with these. Their preset so you don't have to change the settings." It was clear that Jayce was excited to and was more than ready, "Sounds like a plan Julian my Man. Are you coming this time Helen?" Jayce started to walk towards the front of the house.

Julian held the pistol with even more confusion, sniffing at it lightly, he moved the pistol around looking at it. When he saw the end of the barrel, he closed one eye and looked down it, then held it up, hoping to get light so he could see what was at the end of the dark tunnel, "What is this thing Jayce?" He moved the barrel away from his eye and squeezed the trigger, which moved easily back and did nothing. "What do I do with this?" He frowned.

"That, big brother, is a gun. Remember the water-guns we had for my eighth birthday? It's like that, but pain pellets come out instead of water. It can even kill." He looked over his shoulder and shrieked when he saw Julian pull the trigger, "DON'T GO DOING THAT INSIDE! There are Pain pellets still in there."

Helena was preparing to go out putting on some of the clothes that were in the box, attempting some semblance in looking human. The problem was the tail, it was longer then the jeans she found so it was difficult to hide. She was about to give up on the disguise before hearing Janice scream. SHe rushed out in jeans, white tank top and baseball cap, she looked ridiculous but she was to concerned with Jayce. " What is going on here?"
