Main IC- Castle of Caria

Renya

Renya softly sighed as soon as the strange figure of Crax disappeared from his field of view, hardly letting the sound of relief be loud enough to any nearby NPC hear it. Now... I should probably follow my character perfectly. He inwardly muttered, his hands moving to search a set saved amongst his favourite items, immediately equipping it. The effect was instantaneous, as the previous militar uniform that Renya used as a gag equip being immediately substituted by a set of robes that could only be described as fitting for a vampire, with a fluttering black cape, red stripes of cloth fluttering around it and a wig with the same white colour as the character natural hair that managed to make him look even more like a western noble. His strongest armour and at the same time the most fitting attire to roleplay as Aleister E. Bloodseal.

Even so... Melting Ice? Is that even possible? Not even an over rank magic could damage the castle like that on Yggdrasil. He inwardly talked, proceeding to make his way to the throne located in the Dark City main hall, sitting on it as if it was the most natural thing to do, a clear influence of his habit of role-playing inside the game. Maybe some environmental effect? I guess it wouldn't be weird if that happened now that the game world turned out to be somehow real... But that would still go against the setting we made for the castle. He slowly lost himself in his conjectures, his right hand supporting his chin while he sat at the throne in an overly relaxed way that somehow managed to pass the impression of dignity, quite the feat considering how he did it without even noticing.

And even if this was the game world, it wouldn't make sense if the castle started melting because of the environment, the temperature setting of the dungeon former area was meant to be cold anyway. Why would it suddenly chan-... Before he could even finish his line of thought, a voice loudly called his name. While the sentence wasn't exactly uncorteous, he was certain that no NPC would call him without adding a honorific, making him confused about the identity of who was calling him for a second. When he finally managed to have a glance of the man, he immediately recognized the character that he was quite accostumied to see, one of the last active members of the guild together with himself, the immortal human Kuro. "...Kuro...Kurotsuchi-Senpai..?" His voice couldn't help but falter for a second, being barely audible for a second before he managed to recover his character, loudly giving an order to all the NPCs in the room. "All the servants shall leave this room and do their bidding immediately. Leave me alone with the Immortal Kuro, as we need to decide our course of action." He said in a way that sounded more like an announcement than an order, apparently expecting that the NPCs would naturally follow what he said.

Gena

Entering into the Dark City, Gena's eyes fell on a familiar figure in the distance. The significant scent of that blood sucker was hard for her to forget. It was Aleister E. Blood. So that irritating man from before wasn't wrong about him being there. Though this brought more irritating questions to her mind as she begun walking in his direction, but that was only to run into Crax'rxirc. What was that bug doing here? She wandered. Apparently he noticed the demon despite the cloak covering her wings and shadowing over half her face.

"Crax'rxirc...." She said back, the bow he awaited from her didn't come. Even if he was the leader of Cartris. Though that was how she was programmed. Her loyalty lied on those who dwelled in the Cave of the Fallen, the rest she didn't care too much about. She was about to tell him she didn't care what the supreme beings ordered them to do, but with the last bit of information he gave, did come as a surprise to her. The ice melting? That was truly a problem.

"Hmm.. very well I will assist you momentarily Crax'rxirc.." she said just before he took off. Her attention turned towards Gia

"Gia return to the cave and inform all the level leaders to raise the Defenses and prepare themselves. Hypnos I want you to use what tier magic you know to put up barriers at the entrances." Gena ordered them. Gia spoke in a concerned tone as she looked at her leader.

"But what about you Gena?" Gena sighed softly as she spoke.

"What do you think? I'm going to the front lines to assist Crax'rxirc" her tone of voice hinted to her impatience. The other two bowed and left Gena. Gena's eyes now back on Alestier as she begun to walk towards him, only to hear a familiar aggravating tone. Her eyes glanced back to see Kuro who called out to the vampire.

'For fucks sake..' she thought to herself. Soon after catching Alestiers attention, the vampire ordered the NPCs to leave the two alone. Great, well her questions will have to wait. She unequipped the black cloak revealing her black feathered winds and torn black dress. The wings spread as she took off in the direction Crax'rxirc went.

"..." The Devil looked up to the blood red moon hanging in the middle of the plain sky. He took in a deep breath, even though he knew that was unnecessary for a demon like him. Still, he did it nonetheless as the act satisfied him somehow in finding his humanity. He simply sit there and enjoyed the sight of the malefic celestial body. The moon was beautiful despite its gruesome color, but the rest was not quite of a lyrical setting usually found in stories; A barren land, filled with graves - prideful achievements of this creature, with a bunch of walking zombies carrying weapons. The fallen heroes that foolishly challenged him and thus their destiny was made clear to them in the end: Joining the horde of corpses. The Demon took a good look at them, before whispering something in his mouth, too low to be heard. His eyes then moved to set themselves on the horizon, counting as each moment passed by.

"...Three, two, one." Out of nowhere, the space was bent and warped, seemingly sucked in by the intense force of gravity. The world collapsed, revealing the secret pathway to the world outside. It's been a long while...

Aeon adjusted his mask before walking to the shattered gate hanging in the air...

Kuro waits until Gena leaves the room, and turns to Renya, crossing his arms. He does use honorifics, occasionally, but he felt that in this situation, it would be best to use a different way of speaking so that he could catch Renya's attention. He felt incredibly lucky to finally see another player within Caritas. He explains to Renya that he had been walking around for hours within the frozen zone, and it honestly felt like he'd been there for an eternity looking for players. He had encountered the occasional NPCs, whom paid no heed to him, due to his servant-like attire, but had recognized no players. After visiting the area, he'd discovered that even the players from the Cave of the Fallen were gone, as Gena appeared to be making most of the commands around the place. It was strange, as those players from the Cave were online almost constantly.

All of this seemed coming so fast, as he began mentioning the sentient NPCs and lack of menu within the game, along with the strange event of the castle melting all leading up to one final sentence that Kuro felt he had to get off of his mind, before it erupted in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Renya-san, do have any idea of what's going on exactly, because this is starting to scare me", he finally says, having appeared to calm down. He didn't want to spout this out infringing of the NPCs in fear of possible distrust from all of the Caritas NPCs. Sure, they can't go against their programming, but conversations would definitely be embarrassing. Plus, assuming everything is how is, he'd have to deal with that for eternity, as he is Immortal.
