The Eater of Worlds
Hello all, I'm interested in running my first RP on this wonderful site! I wanted to see if I could get any players before I posted. I am looking for about 4-5 players. If not i'll run it as a one-on-one with my buddy pal.
Magister is a unique world setting taken place on the floating islands of Arceia, each island held aloft from the netherworld of The Void via large magical crystals. The world above the void is one of light, life, and prosperity. Life is run by magic, with its power imbued into almost every aspect of everyday life.
All of the characters in Magister are teenagers and young-adults training to be Magisters, who people who work with magic as a profession. The characters will be in class C-3, basically the underdogs of the school.
There of course is a whole city built around the school, Lightbream Academy. This town is Academia.
There is also a whole world of floating islands which are the remnants of a flat world that has mostly all fallen into the void. This world includes five major nations and several smaller ones all spread out over two hundred floating islands.
Arceia has 6 common races, however, the players will all be human.
Magister features a class system that includes not only the spells you can cast, but how you cast them. The way someone can cast magic can be described by two things. Their form and their class.
Magic Form is how you cast magic. One can use arcane crystals with spells carved into them. One can use incantations, or someone could preform rituals to complete a spell.
Magic Class is the type of effect the spell with have. For example an Elementalist would be able to summon flames.
There is also a power level system in place that ranges from 1-9.
