Magical Michief (For ultimus9)

He sat down in front of Eric. "Maybe I can shatter the illusion." he said, squinting slightly.

"Thats impossible." She said. "Only ones with a mastery over illusions can" she wanted to believe he could, but the logical part of her said it was impossible

Alex gave a mocking smile. "Is that a challenge?" He stood up, dusting himself off. "Meet me at the dorm. I'll see if I can do something about it."

"Okay.." she said and watched him walk off. She followed after him back to the dorm to see if he could try to get the illusion off. Even if he did, what would she do? She couldnt go back to Mistwood at the moment, or stay here at ironwood.

Alex sat up as Elyssa walked in "Okay, you're here. Good. We need to get this over with before you change back." He raised his hands, creating a whirlwind around her.

"Close your eyes."

She felt the wind around her and slowly nodded. She closed her eyes and waited, wondering what exactly he could do.

Alex focused the magic on tearing a hole in the illusion. Which ended up being easier than expected. Malinda probably didn't think someone would entertain the idea of someone of the Air school trying to get past her illusion, and so much the better.

After five minutes, he was thoroughly drained, on his hands and knees.

But at least it had worked.

She could feel the illusion wearing off and she couldnt believe it. It almost felt like she was being stripped down the way he got rid of it. She was amazed as she looked at herself. "That is...wow... i never seen anything like it."

"Are you okay?" She asked seeing him like that. She bent down to see that he was exhausted. She helped him to his feet and to his room.

Alex collapsed onto his bed, cracking his skull on the side wall. He rubbed it absentmindedly.

"Ow."

"Sorry." She said. "And uh... thanks again. I never thought you would do something like that, since you wanted to make my life hell."

"I wanted to make a spy's life hell. You're not a spy, at least not anymore." He shifted a little. "Do you still have your phone? I'd like to borrow it."

"Huh?" She reached into her pocket and took it out. "What do you plan to do with it?" She wondered abd handed it to him

Alex took the phone silently, tapping out a message.

hello, malinda.

remember me? yeah, i'm that kid who challenged you at ironwood.

i found your spy.

try anything at the tournament, and i'll bring you down.

alex

He passed the phone back.

She looked at the message and back to Alex. "I dont think shes the one to take to threats lightly." She mentioned.

"Good. More interesting that way." He smiled. "Do you honestly think I'm afraid of her?"

She smirked. "No, you're not." She didnt want to admit it, but she was a little afraid of Malinda. She knew of all the things she could do.

"You shouldn't be either." he said, gazing past her. "What the worst that can happen?"

"I dont know. Im just a worry wort. I was freaking out so much before you gound out about me." she said.

"Yes. And if she's tries something on you, just beat the crap out of her. You did it to me once."

He laughed. "You poor fool." He shook his head a little. "So, I'm going to sleep now. UNless you just like watching boys sleep, I suggest you get back to your room pretty soon." he turned over, not even bothering to take off his shoes.

"Good night." She said and closed the door behind her. She sighed before heading to her own room to get some sleep. It would be so nice to wake up tomorrow as a girl and not a boy.
