But at this rate we could actually just restart the roleplay since there are very few of us and all

eh.. my opinions tend to clash a lot so I'll just observe.I think you should participate too.
Like, tell us what do you expect from this RP and how do you think we can make this exciting.
Please do keep my sheet! I am planning on returning sometime.Would you like to keep your sheet for maybe returning in the future? Or nah?
That sounds pretty awesome! Comedy is a favorite of mine, and I do generally tend to prefer more light-hearted roleplays. So long as it makes some sense, all for it!I would also like to know how would everyone feel if i introduce some light-hearted elements.
Like, even though its gonna have villains and beams and lazors and all that jazz, i am also thinking about abusing of some common day-to-day things and let the interactions of the characters make a story, and also put more comedy in it.
What i mean is putting situations like festivals, excursions to various places, some silly encounters... all and all i would just like to not make this super hardcore, super dead serious and edgy. That's not quite i envisioned for this RP.
Yeah it was, I'm just adding to it the idea of the roles among them.Idea although the idea of kingdoms being a thing was already there, from the start. Otherwise the princes wouldn't have memories of their lives as the princes of their kingdomswhich kinda stops the thought of it being matriarchal unless the princes' kingdoms are excluded from how the kingdoms of the princesses are ruled, as the princes would become kings eventually
it's a bit contradicting though, isn't it? The princes have to be strong enough to protect the princesses so they survive and can fight later. They're basically the guardians of the guardians. As for the princes thing, notice how they seem secondary. Like they were sent to instruct the girls, they are less powerful... not saying they aren't important, but it just seems to me like the princes wouldn't have their own kingdoms, they would just be princes of the same kingdom as one of the princess and be socially at a Lowe degree.
All speculation though.
Hello people! At last it seems I am done with my exam, hopefully the last one this semester.
So, some ideas:
.
1.Kingdom Roles
The first idea I'd like to present is of kingdom roles. Essentially my proposal, pretty much in line with the idea of having each girl have her own kingdom and stuff, is that in their original lives each princess had a kingdom which was exceptional in it's own field. Maybe one girl could be exceptional at technology, another could be awesome with nature etc.... Each would be unique and serve a given function in the group, standing out in their own way even before the whole magical powers shtick.
I believe a good way to do this would be to have those kingdom's specialties be retroactively based on the magical girl's current powers.
2.Later Groups
Since we might want the girl's being more like princesses, I believe something we could do is just have a colony exist, either on Earth or in some location the girls gain access to later in the RP. These wouldn't be troops of fighters by any means or summonable, they would just be people that happened to have once been inhabitants (or descendants thereof) of the kingdoms the girl's former lives used to rule.
As a side proposal to this one, when we open for new spaces, we could open to the position of servants who were also reincarnated.
3.Consequences
Do you know something that doesn't happen often but could be fun to explore? What if changing outfits didn't somehow make it impossible to recognize you? What if the girls actually have to deal with getting recognized for their actions as magical girls (save of course but those that do manage to find a convincing excuse... )
Food for thought.
4."Dark Mode"
One thing that happened earlier that people seemed to be kind of excited about was that for a while it seemed just about everyone was planning for their character to go evil in some way. That got me thinking of the possibility of making that a standard thing- like maybe the magical girls HAVE to go evil for a period as part of the maturing process before the second step in their magical girl forms.
The different ways of handling this, how it would trigger for everyone could spawn mini-character arcs, as well as guarantee a few minibosses for the roleplay that display different kinds of challenges depending on the magical girl's own abilities.
For Uma's former kingdom, I'm thinking of one that is specialized in the study of spiritualism and magic. A country highly valuing knowledge of a more academic kind over necessairly practical one, to the point of electing rulers based not on blood but on the gift of "prophecy" for lack of a better word. They would have quite a passion for stars, especially in regards to their attempts to read them (successful or otherwise).1. That seems very in tune with what i was thinking about it. I was already thinking about Saori's kingdom being a frozen land, something like that.
Yup and even better- they might suddenly find themselves in charge of managing those colonies2. There may be a colony hidden on earth, maybe they also help them search for the evil in the world That could be cool. I just think that this dynamic about they going their normal lifes and being basicly what would like a bunch of nobodies but who would ocasinaly be treated like roalty by someone, could be interesting and fun.
What I was proposing is that with strip away everything - leave it only to the girl's wills, wits and potential individual powers to find a way to disguise or hide themselves, but otherwise let the fame spread.3. Well i always assumed that it never was as difficult to someone to recognize a Mahou Shoujo, and that nobody did it because the action warped time so it went faster and it was more difficult for people to recognize them. But i always assumed that if someone had time to really look at it, anyone could recognize them provided that they knew their human forms. XD
Not necessarily. I mean, in the real world princesses did have a high authority, but in a lot of places they were considered just below the princes. So the opposite could, in theory, be true in that world.it's a bit contradicting though, isn't it? The princes have to be strong enough to protect the princesses so they survive and can fight later. They're basically the guardians of the guardians.guardian-ception?but idk.. I guess I just don't like the idea of them being lower. That would defeat the point of them being called princes in the first place. Wouldn't that make them, idk, Lords or Counts or something that's lower than a Princess or actual Prince.
