So.. I just realised something that may cause a bit of confusion: Heartbreak and Hatred are basically the same. And both would fall under opposite of Love. x_x having both of them seems a bit silly to me, especially when we're trying to line up rivalries. I know we all have ideas and plans, but it is definitely throwing me off a bit

Actually I don't think Hatred is the opposite of Love.


It is more of an opposite of Serenity which is represented by Emerald, the Crystal of Earth.
 
Actually...serenity is Aqua's. And, in most cases i have seen it, hatred is paired against love.Hatred is even love's antonym. o-o i could see changing Heartbreak to disruption or disturbance- it keeps with wanting to break up couple but can extend that to wanting to ruin all normal and fun things. Plus, it is the antonym of Serenity

Well in my mind Hatred is the embodiment of chaos, destruction and violence which lurks in the heart and it provokes those feelings, bringing havoc everywhere it goes, while Serenity is the entire opposite: it brings peace and harmony everywhere it can, soothing even the most raging soul.


 
Heartbreak on the other hand embodies distrust, fear and unfaithfulness, basically an opposite to Loyalty and Trust, this makes people become lonely and secluded from others, reliving their failures over and over again, sinking into deeper despair and hopelessness.
 
Well you proved my point- hatred lies in the heart, so does love. both are tied to a persons heart. so we can say Chaos of the Heart and Balance of the Heart


disruption/disturbance and serenity are more generally focussed in your mind. you can be at ease, your mind empty of trouble or your thoughts can be wild, making you paranoid and on edge.bThey focus more in the mind. Therefore those crystals can be Chaos of the mind and balance of the mind. all running on opposites and keeping with what they affect and for who's side


 
Heartbreak to me seems like it should just be a branch of hatred, as heartbreak can breed hatred.


I all of the crystals are a balance or a chaos of some sort. your definition of heartbreak makes me think it should be seperate even less


 
and heartbreak isnt necessarily caused by dishonesty and distrust. The opposite of our honest earth should probably be dishonesty

I know: how about both of them are siblings? Like brothers, but they do not know cause they were separated at birth but Manna found out about it and reunited them under one banner.

Sorry if I seemed overly defensive about this, its a bad habit of mine sticking to the story that was made up earlier on :P .

lol I know it was made up early on, which is why i was trying to change the details that doesnt make sense with things but keep the idea of it all.
