“It seems somebody has done there research in magical Affairs.“ Mr. Cantee smiled pointing at Jeremiah. “Children like you who behave and Actually attempt to learn something will have it easy in this place.” His expression goes blank for a moment and then he returns back to his normal demeanor. “I’ve just been informed that class is going to be cut short. You will be heading back to your dorms where you find all your stuff has been laid out not including your electronics. You will be given 45 minutes to do whatever in your dorms while we prep you next class. I hope you all are excited for Science.” His voice booms with that last word and the doors open. control of you body however is not seized. But in place of it two burley men await. Upon closer inspection there is an unusual amount of hair growing on them but they seem like normal men besides that. He motion to Erik. Mr.Cantee spoke “These men will escort you one by one to your dorms.” One By one you are all escorted to your dorm rooms to find a majority of your stuff their. The giant does goose and a series of clicks can be heard from all the doors signifying that you are locked in. Those who are avid in magic can sense a touch of magic left in the room. Those who do find that their room is almost like a pocket dimension with only one exit/entrance. But it seems you can make it bigger to a certain extent. You can chang co,Orc of the room and make poster appear where you choose. For those who aren’t as avid don’t figure it out as quickly but to eventually figure it out. (In your next post please describe what your characters room is like and what they do with the rest of their time)

Lilac

She had never been this happy to move freely, even though there were guards escorting her she could move her own limbs! When they came to a door and opened it she walked in. "Oh wow!" Already this was more space that she could call her own than in her whole life. In a corner there was a desk with paper and drawing supplies in in. "Well I don't draw much but I'll give it a try later I guess since it's here." She said to herself. After the guards left her confined to her room. The walls were a pale green color and the floor was a soft grey carpet. There was a bed in the opposite corner as the drawing stuff. Next to the drawing stuff was a mirror and beside that was a decent closet. Next to the bed was a lamp and stand, along part of the wall was bookshelves. Lilac walked over to the bed and closed her eyes as she had planned to rest.

I am going to go insane in this place. I can feel it happening. Erik thought to himself as the teacher abruptly changed their agenda. Maybe that’s what happens to people who were steeped in magic for so long. Should I be worried about that? Maybe.

When it came his turn to be escorted to the dorms, Erik dragged himself up out of the desk and walked out of the room with the two strange men. He was pleasantly surprised to find that for once his motion was all his own. Whatever these people had been doing to control the students on previous walks through the school they weren’t doing this time.

He considered making a run for it, eyeing the two giants who strode on either side of him. They were big, so he was probably quicker than they were, but that wasn’t considering any other magic tricks this school might still have up its sleeve to keep them in line. Might be best not to test that until he had more info at his disposal.

He stood perfectly still for a moment after the heavy doors had shut and locked behind him. It was a pretty small room, with only enough room for a bed, wardrobe, fair sized bookcase, and a desk tucked into a dormer underneath an odd circular window. Everything was fairly plain, in various tones of grey or black, and the whole thing seemed closed off and stifling. It could do with a bit of the outdoors in here, he thought, and then he blinked, and across one wall he noticed a mural of a forest. That hadn’t been there a moment before, or had it? It definitely looked different from the room he'd first woken up in.

He shook his head, determined not to let the strangeness of this school get to him that easily, and then, very tentatively, with the principal’s warning echoing in his head, Erik uncoiled the magic he had been keeping tightly spooled in his core since he’d woken in that other room. Nothing seemed to happen to him immediately, and he felt some of the tension finally leave his body as he allowed himself to feel the sense settle around him. He hadn’t realized how much he’d missed it until its familiarity was back.

He took a couple steps across the room to check the wardrobe and find his things stowed there and then stood in the center of the space. Forty-five minutes to do whatever in here, huh? There wasn’t really anything in here, and since the school had taken their electronics, that didn’t leave much.

He sighed then stepped over to flop on the room’s bed with a huff. Now was as good a time as any to start trying to figure stuff out. And now that he knew he could reach out with his magical senses, he could at least try and get an idea of where people were around him. Erik closed his eyes and breathed deeply, trying with each breath to stretch the web of his feelings a little further, searching for the distinct bright feeling of a lifeforce in any of the adjacent space.

Xavier reluctantly allows the men to take him or rather drag him to his dorm. He takes pride in the fact that one of them struggles and nearly trips but catches himself. When he arrives to his dorm it’s just as he excepted. Then he noticed his bag on the bed. “So the old man wasn’t lying.” He laid on the bed. He wished that the walls were less bland. Maybe a few anime posters. *Poof* Code Geass, Soul Eater, My Hero, and a plethora of other anime’s he liked sprouted posters. He sat up in bed. “Oh baby this is gonna be fun.”

After almost 10 minutes of testing it out he had his final product. His room plastered with posters of anime his bed a fire themed. He even had two axes on the wall of which if he touched he would go right through them. “Guess they don’t want weapons.” He was almost satisfied. He added the final bits of furniture. He added his desk and his dresser then he was done. He sighed, it had take more out of him than he thought. He laid down in his bed. He produced a red coin with the simple of a scythe on it and he sat up. He casually rolled it along his left hand. From his pinky to his thumb and back. His kind wandered the coin trick he was doing not need any attention to keep up. He wondered if his parents knew this would happen or if they would file a missing persons reported. He snorted a laugh at that. As if they care. He thought to himself. He eventually drifted to sleep.

Flame didn't even fight the hairy, burly people, instead making sure they didn't touch them as they were led away into a tiny, plain room lacking any kind of furniture whatsoever.

They could all-but hear Carmine's frustration, knowing that if his room was similar he'd be throwing an absolute tantrum.

"Gods, this place needs some color," they muttered, running their hand along the wall. Almost like watercolor, a blue line followed them, branching out into spiderwebs of ice-like cyan. It fritzed several times, shifting color, tone and form, as if it was unsure if it wanted to be there or not. "You've gotta be fucking kidding me. Visualization-based magic? Really? You let someone with aphantasia near visualization-based magic? Gods—"

Okay.

It's fine.

Just had to find a way to get it to do what they wanted.

Well... speech may work.

"Clear."

The color vanished.

"...Okay, let's do this."

After a good 30 minutes of Flame trying to remember the hexcodes they'd used on digital paintings, saying "a little darker" or "a little more toward the blue spectrum", Flame had a decent room put together. They'd taken all of their room's cubic volume and pushed it up, leaving little floorspace. One last thing.

"Embed a screen in the roof, yeah? For now, just have it show a cloudy skyscape to blend in with the painted clouds."

Nothing.

Didn't... didn't that math teacher say something about no technology? They probably didn't want them contacting the outside world.

"No? What do you mean no? What am I going to do with a screen embedded in a ceiling that does nothing but display images and reminders?"

Still nothing.

"Do I look like I have the physical strength to pry a flatscreen out of a magic pocketroom? I'm not gonna do anything with it, hell, if you want, make me phase through it. I don't give a damn, I just need something to keep track of school shit with."

Slowly, hesitantly, the ceiling was replaced with a notably pixilated screen, a still screensaver of a cloudy morning displayed. "Thank you."

Flame stepped back to admire their handiwork.

It was similar to how Carmine had painted their little hideout, just more professional, a wonderfully blue gradient starting from the purple on the floor and rising up to the painted clouds. A desk, a chair, and a bookshelf sat in the corner, the cramped space made even more so with the dark coloration.

"Fuck the fact that the color blue makes you stupid, I want to have my voidfloor."

The ticking of a red clock had them looking up a bit and instantly giggling, the 18:00 time the exact opposite of what the actual time was. Inside joke, they supposed.

Flame flopped down on the vertigo-inducing floor with a contented sigh, a grin splitting their face. They decided—with another glance at the clock and another chortle—to wait until someone drug them out.

Jayden put on no fight. It was pointless. They were two strong individuals and he wouldn’t be able to beat them even if he did have his magical powers. Their brute force would probably be too much. He brushed the image of them beating him to a pulp out of his mind and focused on what he would do with his time. He would most likely draw he spent most of his time drawing anyways.

When he arrived at his room he sat on the bed and pulled a sketch pad from his bag. What to draw. He looked at his surroundings, not much to draw. The room he was in was very bland. Then the idea struck him. He began to draw what he would like the room to look like. He began his drawing by starting with the basic shapes of furniture and the walls. His art desk, his dresser with a mirror on it. Painting of his that he had left at home. The picture formed together perfectly. He took a break because his hand started to sting from the small pencil movements over a extensive amount of time. When he looked up the room was different. It was more vibrant. Baby blue walls, His art desk, his dresser with a mirror on it, and paintings of his own making. He looked down at the piece of paper he had been drawing on. He smirked, it was exactly how he’d drawn it. But he knew it wasn’t from his bringing pictures to life ability, no it was the room itself. He only then notice the slight hum of magic in the room. Though only just noticing it he knew it had been there the whole time. He laid back on the bed casting his drawing utensils and sketch pad aside and closing his eyes to relax.

First class hadn’t gone all so well in xelon’s mind. What did the teachers really know about magic they could hardly get a working microwave form some twigs an scarf and pie tins. But he could that was proper magic and science oh well letting out a small huff the Russian boy flicked his hair back out of his eyes and proceeded to get dragged off with the rest of them.. so this was just a gulag then.. as each of them where dragged off and thrown into what was essentially a seperate cell. hoever Xelon was surprised to see his stuff was here.... but none of his marvellous invention oh well he could live with that he though to himself for now.
