"It doesn't feel like it, that was way to close...What if we had lost him!? I just...I don't wanna loose anyone else," she sobbed, wiping tears away from her eyes in a unsuccessful attempt to stop crying. "I hate feeling powerless...Everyone keeps leaving..." she whined, burying her face deeper into Vinny's chest.

 

[Cryobionic]

Vincent ran a hand over his face tiredly, sighing a little, "We're not powerless, and we didn't loose Oliver either. Whats important right now is to stop focusing on what could have happened, and start focusing on how to prevent something like this from happening again. And we can't do that if we allow ourselves to get a pessimistic view on every situation:" The demon grabbed Ellie by the shoulders, leaning down so that he could make steady eye contact with her, his crimson eyes piercing into hers, "Stop it," He murmured, "Stop berating yourself for things you couldn't prevent."


He straightened up and pulled her to him, wrapping his arms around her shaking form, just enjoying the sensation of having her right there for a few seconds. Her steady breathing warming his chest with every exhale, the feel of her heartbeat, the feeling of her hair underneath his fingers... they were all things he couldn't stand thinking about loosing, which meant that if he were to keep them, he would have to start planning out a better strategy of keeping his friends alive.


With a small chuckle, Vincent let her go, flashing her a grin, "I think I'm going to start cutting down on caffeine," He told her lightheartedly, shrugging his shoulders, "I'm getting scatterbrained from the withdrawal."

 

[Elfia Nightwing]

"I've been telling you that for years," Ellie smirked, looking up at the demon with a smile. "And your right... It won't help anything to mope around about what we can't change," she smiled kindly, taking Vinny's hands in her's squeezing them lightly.

 

[Uasal]

Ase made her way back home from work but yet again no one was home ! this was the fourth night and Marie still wasn't answering her phone , Ase thought the wedding was only for the one night but apparently she was wrong , or was she. Now Ase was beginning to worry what if Marie and Estelle were hurt or captured by the now fairy queen ! Ase sighed anxiously before leaving the apartment. the only way she could find out if the wedding had ended or not was to see if Ellie and Vincent were back .

Ellie looked up as she saw Ase enter the cafe a big smile on her face.Estelle crawled under a table, glaring daggers at the angel. "Ase! It feels like forever!" she smiled brightly, walking over to the angel giving her a big hug. "Do you want something to eat or to drink? We got this really good shipment of scotch I thought you would like," the witch babbled on. She knew that soon Ase would discover Maria gone, but she just had been dreading the time.

 

[Uasal]

Ase smiled at the witch as she entered the Cafe. if Ellie was back then that meant Marie was back too, thank the gods Ase couldn't stand her being away for much longer. she gave the witch a hug and then stood back "yeh it does huh so how are you and Vincent doing ?" she asked looking around at the Gorgon who seemed to be mad at her already.

 

[Elfia Nightwing]

"Good! Everythings been amazing," she smiled happily, although it looked a bit strained. "We're all actually going bungee jumping today," she smiled, gesturing to their small group. "Raya really wanted us to go for some reason and so here we are," she laughed nervously.

 

[Uasal]

"oh really well that sounds good i hope ye enjoy yourselfs" Ase smiled back towards the witch "so was the wedding as boring as i thought it would be?" Ase whispered."and did Marie behave herself ?"

Ellie flinched when she brought up Maria looking down nervously. "Maria...D-didn't go," she began looking down. "She...She went back to Paris..." she whimpered. She reached into her pocket where she had put Maria's engagement ring, she had kept it close to her ever since Maria left. "Were going to get her back," she whimpered, placing the ring in Ase's hand, as tears began rolling down her cheeks.

 

[Uasal]

Ase took the ring into her hand and stared at it in disbelief as her mind went blank. her body frozen to the ground as Ellie began to cry , was this some kind of sick joke? no Ellie wouldn't do that to her. after a few minutes she looked into the witches tear filled eyes before muttering a series of 'a' s and 'u's .

 

[Elfia Nightwing]

"Ase..." she whimpered, hugging the angel tightly. "Were gonna get her back! I promise you that," she murmured, looking at the angel with determination on her face.

 

[Uasal]

After a few minuts had passed Ase spoke a few words quietly as her body lay limp against the witch "why , why did she leave?"

 

[Elfia Nightwing]

"Because of you," Estelle glared, her hair wiggling like vipers. "Because you were to immature to stop fighting with Akira and Oliver for one day, because you were to bullheaded to see the amount of stress that your whole feud had put on her! Stress isn't good for a baby jackass!!" she hissed.

 

[Uasal]

"ah i see , its my fault" Ase sighed looking over at the gorgon "so why did you stay Estelle ?" Ase asked her voice completely missing any tone of emotion.

 

[Elfia Nightwing]

"She left without telling me to," she muttered, looking away. "She hates us all," she hissed. Ellie shook her head, looking down, "No..She doesn't hate anyone...It's just...She's been so stressed and she didn't know how to deal with it, so she ran away," Ellie frowned.

 

[Uasal]

Ase sighed moving towards the door "Estelle send me the bills for your food and the apartment , i have work to get to" she said lost in her own thoughts.

 

[Elfia Nightwing]

"Ase!"Ellie squeaked,flinching when she heard the door close, looking down at her feet. "Well, that could have gone better," she muttered to herself, as tears continued to fall down her face.

 

[DestinyRed]

Raya happily looked at her phone, the abused screen stating that it was time to go bungee jumping, "Time to go!" she squealed excitedly, grabbing Jun by the wrist so he didn't run away, "And we are going because I bought the ticket's in advance," she said, "with no refunds," With that she stuck her free hand in her pocket and pulled out a handful of neon green tickets, "These are good for two jumps each everyone take one, if you want to go and I just met you twenty minutes ago, your paying yourselves." she announced.

Ellie took her ticket, hand Estelle one, "You didn't have to pay for these by your self Raya, we could have chipped in,"Ellie smiled, her eyes tinged red from all of the tears she had just cried, from Ase's departure.

Akira walked down the stairs having stayed until Oliver fell asleep. She walked in when Raya spoke and sighed "I really don't feel right just leaving him here. One of us should stay behind what if.. something happens to him while we are gone?!" she looked distressed. (Note: I plan to make Luke stay behind but, someone respond to her before I do *^* @Everyone)

 

[Cryobionic]

Vincent walked forward with a yawn and took one of the tickets. He held the paper up to the light, en eyebrow raising at the color. "Neon green hardly seem fitting for risking ones life," He joked wryly, sticking the thing into his back pocket, before turning to face Akira, "And I'm sure he'll be fine. I can lock the door, if you want me to."

Akira wrung her hands together "B..but what if someone manages to break in or..or he starts to feel a lot of pain or he gets lonely or..leaves and gets into trouble?!" she was pacing by now


Alexander sighed and opened his mouth to speak only for another voice catch Akira's attention "I could stay behind"


Akira and Alexander turned to who said it. Luke stood there slight worry on his face at how worked up Akira was getting "There is no point in me really going and if the door is locked and I'm here then Oliver will be safe, you know how good of a fighter I am. Hes your little brother... my little brother. I'll protect him with my life and thats a promise"


Akira's brows furrowed and she nodded with a slight sigh "No matter what though I don't want EITHER of you dying okay? If you die I'll drag you back from the afterlife from your nose hairs just to kill you myself for being stupid enough to get yourself killed okay?" Luke smiled with a slight chuckle walking over and Hugging Akira "I don't doubt that for a minute, I promise I'll...we'll be careful." he ruffled her hair "Not planning on leaving my little sister and the kingdoms future Queen anytime soon" Akira smiled at that and Luke continued "Besides that imp is great company. It seems not all imps are as bad as people say hm?" Akira nodded "Now go have fun with your friends, big brother has this handled."


Akira smiled as Luke pulled away and stepped around her walking up the stairs and entering the Apartment taking a position near Oliver sword at his hip on slight alert ready to watch over and protect their little brother. Akira turned back to the others smiling "Now that, that is handled I'm ready to go, I'll pay for Emiya and Alistair's ticket"

 

[thistle]

Jun, visibly paling at the announcement, tugged in protest. Obviously at this point it was futile to say anything. But it still didn't stop the look of distress from entering his face. "I'll stay. I can watch over," he gasped when Raya pulled out the tickets and displayed them before those present, "I can watch over Oliver!"

 

[Elfia Nightwing]

"Jun, if I have to it, you're doing it," Ellie smiled gripping the shades arm tightly. There was something laced in her smile that seemed to dare Jun to try and run. Estelle snickered, "You're still scared of heights huh Ellie?" she smiled, "Terrified!" she smiled brightly. Ever since she was a little girl she hated heights to the point when she was 10 and Maria pressured her into climbing a tree she got stuck even though she was only 20 feet of the ground. It took the fire department and 6 hours to convince her to come down.

 

[DestinyRed]

"I never said I was going!" Emiya screeched, "No way hosay, heights aren't my thing." she said, crossing her arms then poking Alistair with her foot, "And he's tied up, let the poor guy brush his hair first."


Raya rolled her eyes at Vincent, "It's completely safe, they've only had one accident, and by accident I mean someone peed themselves." she said then stuck out her toung. When the bunny struggled she barely managed to keep her grasp on him, "Oh your going, I believe this particular ticket says Jun on it." she stated, fanning the tickets in front of him then nodding her head at the end one that actually said Jun on it, "I took the liberty of having them personally address it to you. Only you -or others with the name Jun- can use it."
